1. Not only that, but his team is built for more of slap hitting and higher avg. Justin is really the only guy who will belt 25 plus HR's a year.

You could tell from the DBs reaction he expected safety help.

Atlanta marched 80 yards in under a minute. That's B'more's mistake...calling foul on that last play is cheap imo

oh, last night. I didn't get to watch the game at all. I believe that is a Falcon move because someone did it last week as well to Talib.

Of course, that sort of thinking is what led me to that 1-11 season I had with you guys my first year there....

Upset of the week, I think the Cowboys upset the Giants. I think Garrett put a fire under their butts. Lol I know this sounds crazy and probably is, but it's my crazy pick of the week.

They ALWAYShad tons of supprt; their issue was money and property based.

For the Raiders, Al also made some bad moves financially that left him strapped for cash and the stadium was in the worst part of the city.

The Rams were actually in Anaheim (before money got big in the OC) and if they'd waited a while probably would've got a new stadium in the same area where the Angels are.

The new stadium being built would include several sweetheart deals involving the sponsors and the property in the area, and the TV revenue for any of those teams would go up radically.

There's literally no downside to moving team to LA because all the jerk politicians who tried to get someone to go to downtown or renovate The Coliseum have been shoved aside.

Agreed. LA has always supported their teams. Hell they even somewhat support the Clippers and Kings still (when the Kings were bad). The have always had problems because similar to the Tampa Bay Rays, they got caught in horrible leases.

The NFL won't do it, due to their strong stance on gambling.

I don't see why a team would move to LA, sure it's a HUGE market, but haven't we been down this road before? (Rams and Raiders)

Two of the teams you mentioned (Chargers and Raiders) are already in California and they don't seem to be getting support. Why would LA support a team now, when they didn't 15 years ago? This isn't like Cleveland, where they lost a team that meant SO much to them as a city.

Maybe I'm wrong, I just don't see another LA move as a great idea.

Does Vegas want a Football team? I believe the biggest reason they don't have a big sports franchise is because they leagues would want Nevada to ban them from gambling on that sport or that team. Some one was telling me about how they couldn't vote on the UNLV title run because they are in Vegas. I could be wrong of course because this was just word of mouth.

 9. Bengals won't move. The only teams in a place to move are the Bills (who would wind up in Canada before LA), Vikes (hell if Minnesota isn't giving them a new stadium, LA will). Jags horrible economy in jacksonville has really hurt a team that had little fan suppprt to begin with. San Deigo, they have been looking for a new stadium for a couple of years now. San Fran just got a new stadium, but if money can't come together for it and San Francisco still wont build them a new one I could see them leaving. the Raiders could move....... again. Oakland hasn't given them a new stadium and I know the Raiders want a new one. I mean Cali is a great place to have a SB, but all the stadiums are old and so why would you want a SB in an old stadium. San Fran gave the Giants a new stadium, their was talk about the A's and a new park. Angels have a nice park and it's about time to get the true money makers a new stadium. Also, yes I get that Cali was hit the hardest with economy, but you don't think a SB a couple years in a row (which 2 new Stadiums could get them with San Fran and LA) wouldn't help?
 10.
also, let's take a vote. How long until McDaniels of the Broncos is unemployed. I get he's only in his second year and the Owner of the Broncos is pretty patient, but this guys since after his first 6 games. He traded away Cutler, Marshall, and has made some dumb signings that haven't stuck with the team (JJ Arrington, Jarvis Green). Jabar Gaffney and Brandon Lloyd have been a nice surprise, but they also run a deep pass type system. Their drafts haven't been great. Knowshon is struggling staying on the field and running. Kyle Orton has looked good, but they have brought in two other 1st round QB's to push him.

The Defense fell off quickly last year even though they have a solid player at each level.

Picks haven't panned out yet. Ayers, Knowshon, Tebow, Thomas. and they got them from the Jay Cutler trade (at least a two of them)

He has been in fights with his top two players each of the last two offseasons (Cutler and Marshall).

Also who else do we see not coming back next year.

I believe it's

Fox, Norv Turner, Childress, Mike Sing., maybe Ken Wisenhut but he might get saved because of the fact he went to the Superbowl two years ago and just lost his QB, but remember he was on the hot seat the year he went to the superbowl. Lovie Smith?, Jason Garrett.

 11.
Why is Tom Cable the name people are throwing out for Coach of the year?

I get what the Raiders are doing is great this year, but they are still playing in a weak division. They have had 7 straight years of top 10 picks I believe and they are finally healthy.

The top coaches I would think of for Coach of the year are Haley, Morris, Carroll, Guy from Rams, Reid.

Haley: Took the Chiefs in 2 years from a 2-4 win team to a team that will probably win that divison. Cassel isn't the QB we all thought he was, but with a great running game he could be a Trent Dilfer type. Hand the ball off, make throws every now and then.

Morris: What's there to say. He has been smacked around in 2 of the 3 losses. But in the other 6 games they have played mistake free ball and it has helped them. They were a 3 win team last year and pretty much picked to win about 3 to 4 games this year. They aren't dominating, but they get the job done and he has given them motivation.

Carroll: This team has taken it's two biggest WR last year and got rid of them. He has tinkered with the Defense and they had the best draft last year IMHO. He made Mike Williams relevant again and made a team with talent relevant again.

Steve Spagnuolo: talking about a team the last 2 years went 3-29 I believe. This year they are 4-4 tied for the divison lead and are doing all of this with a Rookie QB. The run game is still dangerous, the WR's have been dismantled with injuries. They Defense has been taking QB's down and Chris Long is finally living up to his high draft choice. James L. is showing he should have been a 1st rounder.

Ried: Come on. This guy was pretty much like John Fox. He is in the last year of his contract. Traded his top QB (at the time) to a divison foe and has two solid QB's on his team. The WR's are there, the Defense has struggled, but it's coming around.

 12. so is Stafford the next big thing, that can't stay on the field?
 13. I don't think it was 30. Unless you were joking, then sorry lol
 14. Listen I will agree with the next person that Players make to much money. As long as people spend the money on tickets and merch. owners are going to continue to pay for them. So if you want players to make less, you tech. have a say in the matter. Boycott sports and owners wont have the money to spend on it......................lmao
 15. Okay I might be saying this because I am a Bucs fan, but I thought the Falcons vs Bucs game was called horrible when it came to spotting the ball.
 16.

I dare you to find me an example of a big time modern sport where that IS the case. Or even if it was the case EVER.

I swear I have no idea what's up on the boards...it's like crotchety old man week.

If you want local guys playing for their local team and showing local pride go watch high school.

teehee.... I agree with peter. Players don't have a choice where they are going to play coming out of college. By the time there contracts are up most of them have a home in their new area so why not stay. Players don't owe anyone anything (as odd as that is to hear from me). The teams aren't paying players after they retire in anyway shape or form. I agree that the players need to go out and find there money to support their families. Half of these guys end up broke anyways. Lebron went to Miami because he saw like most he wasn't going to win a title with the Cavs. It's not like Jordan where he played in a big market. He had a GM whose only claim to fame was Lebron. Besides that he was never able to draft anyone else. Lebron left, Boozer left, no one was going to stay.

Now the past two years a big reason why no one came could be because of Lebron's contract and I will not agree or disagree with it. There are examples for both arguements (Trevor Ariza and Ron Artest last year saying he wouldn't tell them and Amare and Bosh saying they wont go.)

 17.

That is my point, bottom line Lebron ended up being like all the rest, just went where the money is, left behind him his own state, gave up on trying to make the Cavs a proper franchise and slotted a bunch of superstars together to make things easier.

Winning titles when you have 3 of the 10 best players (and 2 of the top 5) on one team means little. Even if we take some of the great players of the past such as Barkley, Drexler or more recently Garnett, they gave a good try in their own teams to try to win things before trying moving to a "ready made" team, late in their career to win titles. In this case we have 3 players in their prime.

Also i do not agree with what you said about Lebron not having the influence to bring stars to Cleveland, i am sure he could do that, in the end he simply "followed" someone elses plan, instead of creating his own.

Good luck to him, hope he screws up

Okay i can agree with it that he took the easy way out and went to a place with other superstars to make getting the title a little easy for him, but he def. didn't go for the money. Point is no one could have offered him more money than the Cavs. Also he would have earned more money by not opting out of his contract this year and just going into next year as a free agent.

 18. but when he goes up against D. Fish he didn't look that great.
 19. I dont think we can say Rondo is great because he had 24 assist in one game. Hell Chris Duhon had 20 plus assist one night for the Knicks two years ago. I think Rondo is a talented player who is getting better, but I would like to see him a little more this season before I say he is this type of PG.
 20. What about John Fox. I know he is looking horrible right now with a team that was set up to fail, but he is still a hell of a coach and with talent like the Cowboys he could do I great job.
 21. Does it really matter though? If he can find guys open and create offense by driving the lane, does not having that jumpshot yet matter?
 22. That might surprise you though. First he has shown the ability to build up QB's. Also they have nice players on the Defense as well as a nice O-Line and RB duo. I just don't think Gruden would do go in Dallas because of all the ego's. I think Chicago would be a great place for him.
 23. I agree, you can never count out a PG who can get his offense going. Chris Paul hasn't ever had the greatest team, but he has lead the Hornets to the playoffs.
