1. 9ers will still be a good team. Manning and the colts laid a goose egg doesn't mean they'll suck all season
 2. people always seem to forget that Seahawks aren't a team with no talent. Injuries and Coaching changes have affected them over the last three years. They still have a good amount of talent on this team and with the draft they had this year I expect them and the 9ers to compete for the West.
 3. yeah, I thought it was raw and I just don't feel CW will be able to match that I wanna watch hellcats for the chicks lmao
 4. first off it's on the CW which is mainly a chick station. I will record the first episode just to see what it's about but my hopes are low
 5. Hm, so that's you saying that Bulaga won't live up to the expectations of the Packers. Now in the NFL when someone doesn't live up to the expectations they are considered bust. Also did you watch the Orange Bowl past the first drive? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAUs6ny8Hps&feature=related that shows a bunch of Morgan vs Bulaga and Bulaga didn't look as bad as you swear he did. I did watch a bunch of Iowa games (for the simple fact I like their coach) Also if you watched Iowa games you would notice that Bulaga didn't have trouble with speed rushers because of their speed, sense besides myself most believe he is extremely quick on his feet, he had trouble with speed rushers when they would transfer their speed into power. Bulaga posted some of the better O-Line 3 cone drill and 20 yard shuffle, but put up horrible numbers when it came to bench press finishing 18 out of 40
 6. lol it wasn't even that, I remember talking to people in the past about it and there are cases that support and don't support long arms for tackles. Roos is one of the best tackles in the game, he may be on a run first squad but to only give up one sack during a year is impressive. There is just more to a position then one key attribute. Manning isn't a stud because he's got the arm of a rocket, Chris Johnson isn't a great running back because he can run the 40 faster than most, Larry Fitz isn't one of the best because he has hands bigger than mine or yours. Those player have a bunch of different things rolled into one.
 7. Brett has always had ?'s at WR. Last year, with the Jets, and most his career with the Packers outside of the Freeman and can't remember the other guy era. He is the one who helped Javon, Greg Jennings, Sidney Rice, and Donald Driver become household names. He still has a great running game and they will figure things out with the WR's
 8. I could be wrong about this, but week 5 could be history. Rams vs Lions will feature not only the last 2 number 1 picks, but also the last two Number 2 picks as well.
 9. you need to keep Zobelle. He did a great job as the bad guy and messing with the Sons. I thought the cliffhanger last season was handled wonderfully.
 10. Well you might have a point there, but at the same time his arms being short doesn't mean he is a future bust like you do. the avg length for a tackles arms in the NFL two year was 34 1/2 inches. The NFC pro-bowlers were avg at 33 3/4 while the AFC were 34 on the dot. Bulaga has bigger arms then 6 current NFL starting LT Carolina Panthers Jordan Gross 33 Eagles Jason Peters 33 1/8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Donald Penn 33 Atlanta Falcons Sam Baker 32 3/4 Detroit Lions Jeff Backus 32 1/2 Tennessee Titans Michael Roos 32 1/4 That is a pretty good list of OT as well. Roos is the anchor for the Titans line, Backus isn't that good, Baker was a steal for the Falcons, Penn was just rewarded a contract and many believed he should have been a pro-bowler last year, Peters is a talented tackle, and Gross is one of the best. Also Michael Oher, Jason Smith, Matt Light, Joe Thomas fall into that under 34 inch arms. I just don't think you can say a guy isn't going to live up to expectations just because of the size of his arms. More goes into it then just his arms like is he quick on his feet, his he smooth and fluid. Those factor in more than if he has 34 3/4 or bigger arms.
 11. Didn't mean to strike a bad note, if I did then I am sorry. Now while Berkman did hit .274 last year he also jacked 25 HR with 80 RBI in only 140 games and 460 AB which comes to about 3.2 AB a game, a HR every 18.4 AB, and a RBI every 5.1 AB. still while walking as much as he Strikeouts. That's not that bad of a year for most people and even Berkman who was 34 at the time with only Carlos Lee as his back-up . I think we have to remember one thing about the Yanks and it kind of helps Remi case ( me helping Remi in an arguement, how the world changes lol) Berkman is a typical Yankee player, he will have down years and his avg might suck, but he is a .400 OBP guy who can play in the field as well and get on base with walks. The Yanks are known for their ability to work the count and work pitchers. Berkman does that. If Berkman SO 100 times a year, you better bet your butt he is getting walked just as much, which is what the Yanks like about him. Now off year yes, two in a row no. Berkman had a down year last year in the AVG department and a horrible one this year. Dumb move....... probably, but did they really give up a bunch for a player that will net them a draft pick this year come free agent time? This is a tough arguement for both sides. The best way to handle this one is wait and see what Berkman does the rest of the season and playoffs. Last point Berkman's salary may be 14 million, but the Yanks are only paying a certain amount of that as long as the Astro who wanted him gone didn't take some just to make him more desirable to teams. Also he has a 2 million dollar buy-out, so he is just a rent a player.
 12. All great valid points. I guess we will have to see what happens this coming year.
 13. The DH is the exact opposite of a pitcher in the NL. NL a pitcher is considered a free out. In the AL the DH is cosidered an extra run. That's how GM's have always looked at DH's. That's why you don't see a speedy person who can't hit play that position. A good DH can hit .280 with 20 HR's and 90 RBI. A great one goes out and does .300, 30 HR, and 100RBI and they don't play Defense, if they can then plus. Berkman is a great hitter, his career stats prove that. In saying that he is having an offseason and like in the past the Yankees took him not caring, but the Yanks can do that and not care.
 14. I think bj is just in fighting limbo right now. He can't fight either of the two champions in the weight classes he fights and would more than likely lose to Anderson Silva if he ever tried middle weight. Which I don't think he would
 15. BJ looks better bald, simple!!! lol I think BJ could beat Gray IMHO only because Gray didn't dominate Kenny like I thought he would. I remember when BJ and Kenny fought last year and the way BJ was just in control throughout the whole fight. BJ against Edgar just reminded me of the Jackson vs Evans fight. One guy kept pressuring the other and the other would answer at times, but not enough.
 16. I think the 49ers, Jets, Bears, Broncos, and Jags do better then your predicts personally. McDainels has pretty much shown us in a year and a half that it's his way or the highway and so far so good. the 9ers have an improved O-Line for the beast known as Gore to run through. Also they have throwing threats in Davis and Crabtree (as they fight on the field ) that could give Alex Smith a year where he tosses about 20 TD. Their D should be better as well. Bears have had a horrible preseason playing wise, but to me their is to much talent on that team to finish 2-14. I think their biggest issue now is Lovie Smith. I think he is a great D-minded coach, but I don't like him personally as a head coach. Jets are the Jets. I know people talk about Mark is only in his 2nd FULL year as a starting QB, but that is a year where we have seen a bunch of QB improve into a great QB (Manning, McNabb, Schaub, Eli M.) All four had nice running games which helped them. With the talent he has to pass to he should improve nicely from last year. Also Revis will probably come back....... maybe. The Jags are the most interesting team to me out of the 5 I talked about so far. They said goodbye to big John, but I think they have had two nice drafts in a row all together. I think 8-8 isn't out of the question. Also 10-6 for the Eagles is wishful thinking to me. They have lost way to much to instantly be that talented again.
 17.
Wow two people who believe panthers are a 500 team or better. I think the bucs and panthers battle for the bottom of the south bottom

I think the saints fall off, not because of deceased talent just the world tour they took and the fact in the NFL its so hard to repeat season after season is so hard. I still think 11 games is what they win

 18. Surprised this went without word with all the great rookie Pitchers this year, But Hellickson of the Rays went 3-0 with a 2.09 ERA while with the Rays and only missed going 4-0 because of a blown lead in the 8th last night. Also I don't get how Strasburg can call out Harper for taking so long to sign?
 19. I was very impressed with Josh Freeman on Saturday. He only threw it four times, but each throw was clean and crisp. The weather was horrible and the Bucs first teamers pretty much dominated the Dolphins.
 20. you know the phil's got to be kicking themselves for trading Lee earlier this season. They wouldn't have had to trade for Roy and they would have gotten picks for Lee if he did decide to leave. Oh well I hope Roy has fun in Philly.
 21. Correct. Only thing is that Cincy will probably run a base with at least a RB, FB, 2 WR, and 1 TE. I think as of now Owens is the number 2 wideout depending on how AB feels with his knee. Now when they go to that 4 wide set it would look like this more than likely Chad J., Owens, AB, Shipley, and Gresham as the Tight End. and during the 5 wide they swap Gresham for Cadwell. Biggest concern right now is how Gresham and AB progress with their injuries. AB is now a year removed from and ACL tear in his knee. Gresham missed all of last year with an ACL tear and will probably be used cautiously. All in all I think the Bengales have one of the most talented Offenses and if Andre can make weight and stay healthy they would be downright scary.
 22. that's would be the fan choice but untied I is the money smart move to keep if he gets rid of the debt on the team. United offers more money from sponsors, TV deals, and merch. The bucs are just team that gives him a 20 million dollar profit each rear where untied could double or even triple that easily
 23.
http://boards.ign.com/football/b5105/194135391/p1/

50 most valuable sports teams

2 things popped out at me from this.

A while ago someone on this board said the Man-U wasn't the most valuable anymore because of their debt. Second out of the top 15 the Glazers own 2 of them........ So why not sell the Bucs to pay of the debt from Man-U and then go buy the football team to send to LA?

I know wishful thinking there.

Out here in Central Florida (Includes West, Central, and East) we are hearing everything from Paul coming this year and a chance that we could do a sign and trade next year with the nuggets for Melo. We have probably heard 6 different possible things.
