  1. you need to own up to your words jwt, because no matter what your team isn't winning big.
  2. Im not overly impressed because Albert was probably a roider, as was Bonds, and 9 of troy's 14 came at home.
  3. So are you going to eat your words if the barely win? You make two different chances for you not to have to eat your words. First you say Skins win big quote me. Then you say if we lose i'll own up and eat my words, so is barley winning you eating your words as well..... or not?
  4. Eh he's a fan of the skins, he voiced his opinion and personsally I think they were trying to get a rise out of us
  5. Actually I was. I picked Washington to beat Cowboys in my GDS pickem. I like what the Skins have put together, but there is to much to be fixed in one week. Will you guys make the playoffs this year....... honestly..... yeah. You have the best QB in the divison and a Defense that should do well. That division isn't what it was a couple of years ago and is the right pickin for a team that has talent. I just think the Texans are one of the top teams in the NFL and are starting to finally put it all together. They have a talented D with a very talent D-Line and Linebackers. The secondary lost Robison, but I think Jackson is going to do a pretty good job for them. That offense has been talented for years now and with a running back who seems to be putting it together they could be the best in football. Once again it's not a knock on your team or talent it's more of I don't think your team has the Texans number this week.
  6. So not only are you shutting down their run game, but your going to stop a pass game that us very talented itself and you offense which barely beat Dallas is going to torch their D as well? I know petyon's numbers looked good, but go watch the game. colts had no run game and played behind most of the game so they had to throw. The Texans d got to manning a bunch Sorry dude not to be mean I just don't see the skins beating thh Texans and defiently not by 28 points
  7. So are the big questions with teams now voting to decertify the union If the NFL and it's players go into a lock-out will Football have a bigger backlash then Baseball and Hockey with the current economy the way it is? Will people just forgive and forget with blackouts continuing (Chargers will be blacked out this week and they are a winning football team) and owners and NFL really doing nothing to keep teams on TV with the struggling economy?
  8. <p>Okay so what about Jeter's acting?</p><p> </p><p> I am a Rays fan and hate the Yanks, but I didn't see it as a bad thing. There is less the 20 days left in the season and the Yanks and Rays are the two top teams having one hell of a fight for first place (it's what makes baseball enjoyable).</p><p> </p><p> Jeter saw a close play that he could turn in his favor and he did. Jeter would be the type of player I would want on my team because on the field he is willing to do anything (that doesn't hurt a player or himself) to win a game.</p>
  9. Willie Parker maybe. He is probably the best back out there unless jamal lewis is willing to play. The way Foster ran for the Texans makes Slaton somewhat expandable.
  10. he says he didn't take it until he got to Texas. He was a 40/40 guy in Seattle
  11. you can be dominate, but what you have to figure out is what were their stats before they started taking them. If they had hall of fame numbers to be in before then they should be considered. Also remember that the Hall of Fame also takes into account the character of players and steroids shows poor character to me.
  12. we talked about Joe being let back in and you threw Pete into it. I have always though joe should be let in.
  13. I just saw Pete Roses speech after getting roast and I think this man has finally seen where he screwed up. I don't know if Pete will ever be let back into baseball, but I think it's about time it is strongly considered.
  14. okay so the reporter who felt like the jets were looking at her in a wrong way was right to believe that. When I just saw her on TV I wanted to met her

They might have lost, but that D is still badass and the offense went up against a great D themselves.</p>

Lord knows the had the defense. And because they had the defense, their special teams that year get short shrift. Even though that offense was so weak, the quality of that defense wasn't going to matter without Matt Stover and Jermaine Lewis. It was Stover's leg scoring points and Lewis improving their average drive start that shortened the field for them through the heart of that season. I don't care how could Ray Lewis and Edgerton Hartwell and those guys were. No Matt Stover + no Jermaine Lewis = no Super Bowl. That defense would have been worn out and dead in the water without the special teams backing them up.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It was obvious that the Ravens had a great defense, but the continued to have that great defense and never made another SB. Ravens were a team first and they helped pick each other up. The Jets last year remind me of them. A QB whose job was to give it to the RB and complete a couple passes. They were going to force the QB to win them the game because they didn't have a QB that could do that.</p><p> </p><p> I remember when the Bucs were a Offense score 17 a game and the D would handle the rest.</p><p> </p><p> 9ers biggest question mark going into the season was Alex Smith. Didn't that theory change after yesterday..... no we still see Alex Smith as a bust on a team that needs a QB to really make a push.</p>

The niners have a chance for an ok offensive line, good run game, and alright defense. <p> </p><p> Not much of a comparison</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> 9ers have a great D with one of the leagues top RB's along with Westbrook coming out of backfield to help during the passing game. They have to exciting pass catchers in Davis and Crabtree. You are looking into one game to much which is why I brought up the Colts/Texans game. Not because they were similar, but because a team that was predicted to win on the road laid a goose egg and lost.</p><p> </p><p> give it 15 more games and then you can say the 9ers looked horrible.</p>
  21. Trent Dilfer manged to win a SB doing that <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  22. you're right the colts manged offense with a horrible showing by their o-line and awful performance by the Defense. You can't say a team didn't have any offenses when they out gained them in yards. Penalties and Offensive redzone is what killed the 9ers. The way you should have put it was the 9ers couldn't manged to score when they got into the redzone. Colts couldn't get anything on the ground and went to the air for most of the game once they fell behind.
