couldn't agree more. Why not have the weekend games during the day? I mean there was once a time when night games didn't happen. I think trying to schedule the games to make it viewer friendly for everyone would help. But in the end I believe the reason no one really watches the world series anymore like they use to is a couple of reasons. 1) If it's not the Yanks or Red Sox the ratings are instantly not the same. 2) That's because MLB is horrible at marketing other teams and players. Could you predict what the rating would be for a KC vs MIL or PITT? Say they both all of a sudden out of no where which will never happen, turn it around next year and make it. Could you think of the amount of people who would watch that? I think 3 million total. 3) The Scheduling for the games are horrible. 1st it's will be played in November this year for the first time ever, 2nd who wants to stay up till 12 o' clock just to watch two uninteresting teams go at it? 4) Baseball has gotten really boring. I mean the main reason I watch the superbowl year in and year out is because of the comm. and halftime show. Baseball honestly offers no dazzle to it. As much as I love baseball and playing it, I refuse to go to games (unless I have to) or watch on T.V. I could listen to that crap on Radio though, cuz man those two guys know how to put on a show.

So if you have a brother who is better than you and you are entering the draft the same year as him, you can expect to get drafted by the Suns. I just saw that they have Robin Lopez and Taylor Griffin.

I thought it wasn't horrible. I think Phillips is a bad coach along with Garrett I think this allows Jones to get a high draft choice, look at his current development players and get rid of the coaching staff. I don't think Gruden would be a good fit in Dallas because of the fact that he has always had trouble QB having success then getting injured and putting in a backup who does well and then he fights with himself over who to start. I think Cowher is the best fit because he is already use to the 3-4 scheme, he doesn't buckle under pressure of being fired (he never was fazed with the Steelers even though the Rooney's have a knack for not firing coaches). Also Cowher has a good eye for talent and with ownership willing to spend to keep players he could be set.

I think we will have to wait and see. It's not LA vs Yanks, but it is still a potential good series. I also believe that moving the times up would help. 7 o'clock start times would help for weekday games. It would put the West Coast at 4 and I think companies could be okay with letting employees watch it for just one week. Problem with baseball is to lure new fans in you have to focus on the kids (like the WWE in a way) by having your baseball at 8 o'clock then kids on the East Coast are looking at 11:30 to 12 ending times with school the next day.

I think it will come down to match-ups Lee will pitch the first game, do you want Lin. to go up against him or hold him for the second game at home and give him a couple extra days rest? I say let sanchez pitch the first game since he only pitched 2 innings yesterday. He'll have I believe 2 days rest so you could just act as if it was a bullpen session.

I think you could say that about a bunch of different teams as well. Think of the Bucs, they always had the D to win a Superbowl, but under Dungey they were horrible at drafting Offensive players and it hindered them. The Bills, were four straight losers with a team I thought was pretty dominate, but kickers and other things blew there chances at being a superbowl winner or multiple winner. SD, they have had a talented offense and defense for years, but coaches who can't seem to push them over that hump. If Bill Bellick or Bill Cowher coached that team you think they would have made the Superbowl at least once. And lastly, the Colts. They have been a dream when it comes to putting a team together through the draft. Recent not as talented, but still pretty good compared to most. One superbowl win in two chances is nice, but this is a team that is predicted to do it every year.

That would make sense. If he tells everyone that Bradford is going to be a star than fans will want him more and he can use that by saying the fans want me and ill sell stuff

It's still dumb to me. How many owners, GM, scouts, and coaches really look at Mel's info and say yeah that person should be there? If every team did that then Mel would have found an NFL job by now and teams wouldn't need scouts.

Also I have noticed something else. Last year at this time Mike Nugent and Matt Bryant were both unemployed and they each battled for the kicking spot for the Bucs. Matt was cut because he never kicked and Nugent was fully healed from injury and struggled early and was replaced by Connor Barth. Today Bryant and Nugent are 1 and 2 in scoring in the NFL kicking 12 of 14 for Bryant and 12 of 13 for Nugent. Barth isn't doing to bad himself hitting 6 for 6. Sucks man, he was becoming a good wide-out for Bradford. I learned one thing this week, if you give Josh Freeman the ball with 2 minutes left in the game and he's down. He will find a way to win the game. He did it against Green Bay his first game, his second week against the Dolphins brought them down by 10 in the 4th. Came back to take a one point lead, but the Defense messed up and Dolphins kicked a FG. His fourth game against the Falcons he didn't do a comeback, but that's because he was up the whole game. With 2 minutes left in the game Matt Ryan destroyed our D. Against the Saints last year at their Dome he helped bring them back from 14 down with help from Michael Spurlocker's Punt Return TD and then helped them secure a win in OT This year we were down by 4 against the Browns and came back in the fourth. Then yesterday down by 7 with no hope, Talib INT the ball and Josh made a nice scramble and a couple nice passes to Mike Williams. Then another INT by Sabby and Freeman took them down the field and set up Barth for a game winning FG. Freeman has improved leaps and bounds from last year. He he can put it all together for 4 quarters he could be a great QB. P.S go watch Freeman's last pass yesterday to spurlocker, just beautiful

All the teams you pointed out had a couple things in common though. 1) Most of those cities have struggling econ. 2) Half of them were losing teams Now that is taking nothing away from the Cards. You guys have a loyal fan base and the fact that you support only 3 of the 4 big sports helps. Rams aren't as big in the community as the Cards because of the time served there. The Cards have been a very successful franchise for over what 40 years now. The fans are loyal and you have great talent, just a down year with injuries. To me the Cards are the Colts of MLB. They have the best player in his prime with other very talented players as well. They wont win the World Series every year, but will always (as long as Albert is there) be a contender.
