Finally got around to watching Gone Girl (Or Why I Should Stay Single)...

Fun PPV for the most part. But in the tag team ladder match, the Usos and Lucha Dragons did moves that hurt themselves more than their opponents. And the Salida del Sol spot was cool, but it hurt him less than the trombone shot. Swagger dropping the chair when Del Rio lost his was absurd too.

Wow...that was brutal.

I will probably watch it at some point, but the kid who plays Creed just plays angsty/moody guy in every single movie I've seen him in.

The lack of viable faces is probably what is prompting the use of heels. But I hadn't given it much thought.

I only watch the PPVs on the network, and at least when I heard that from Cole I took it to mean that Lesnar and Taker were facing off for the first time in 16 months.

What has been the overwhelming reaction been? I must be traveling in different circles because all I see is articles about the story, no commentary on it. And again, not to go back to the subject, but it seems as though people believe that because they are scrubbing someone from history, prejudice is no longer an issue. Did they scrub DeMott from history too? Or was the firing sufficient?

So we should just forget the 75 Year Anniversary they had in 1995 with the patches on the jersey?

Do we kill ROH for their 8 pm slot being taken away on DA?

Not sure if it's doable, but any chance of getting Matthew Keith & Greg Gauge in a confederate flag mask. Hired them for USPW, and I think it'd be a cool way to hide their identities while I get their popularity up. Maybe they lose a loser leaves town match and they return without the masks. Or I just keep the team under them for a while.

Not sure if comic book shows are treated this way, or if it would not make sense to stretch it out this long but has there ever been a show that dedicated an entire season to a villain? e.g. Merlyn in season 1, Vertigo in season 2, Deathstroke in season 3, etc. And then if you know the series is coming to an end, build the final season around someone like Ra's al Ghul? I'm sure most of the villains have a strong enough story arc in the comics to be able to have a season devoted to them.

Is Kevin Owens going to be the first guy to draw wrestling in a t-shirt? (Not counting The Rock when he was wrestling in the track suit)

Why don't they just have Wyatt win matches that way? Lights go out and he's outside the cage when they come back on; lights go out and he's holding the briefcase when they come back on; lights go out and his opponent is out cold getting pinned when they come back on? Might as well take full advantage of the goofiness of the gimmick at this point.
