1.
I really liked the stories the matches told last night.

Charlotte wanting to be THE reason for the win/get the pin completely savage Bailey. Not to mention, she hinted at it in the pre-show.

The Usos showing their dominance in the tag match. They have become more interesting without the belt and I dig their attitude.

A "broken" Lesnar as mentioned above could be great - a way to have him go through the Rumble to get a title shot against Owens (or Styles) should they hold it that long.

For a second I thought Strowman would jump ship, but Wyatt standing tall at the end was fine. And what's Orton's deal - is he just working with The Wyatts and not an official member? Or is it going to be a Daniel Bryan situation?

 2.
Completely fair assessment I'd say. Obviously we don't know if they would have won with Duquette still there.

As for Cashman now - he has put the Yankees in a great position: they're young and won't Yankees level, but if they are patient they will have a ton of money to spend on big names in two years (on what will be a great FA class). If ownership isn't patient and they fire Cashman before that, he will get all the blame and the new GM (who would sign the big FAs) would get the credit for "bringing back" the Yankees.

I almost see it the same with Theo - he gets the credit because he finished what Duquette started. And obviously I don't follow Chicago too much, but they were not *this* when he got there. So I would say he gets more credit here than Boston. But it wasn't like he won with Boston the first year (did he?). So there was obviously work he did.

 3.
Eh, I get it. I was only rooting for Theo. Francona being part of breaking two curses would have been cool too.

If your point on Chapman is that the punishment should be stricter on the part of MLB, I'm all for that. But as it stands, it went through all the proper channels, did it not? (not defending the guy).

I know Reyes couldn't even practice with the team until his domestic abuse case went through the court system.

The NFL on the other hand is a joke handing Brady a suspension that was 2 games less than what Hardy ended up serving.

 4.

Always great when a guy suspended for domestic violence is the winning pitcher of the World Series. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

REDEMPTION

Edit: And I don't say it lightly. He served the supension handed down by the league and came back. At least it's ot the NFL with the original joke suspension on Ray Rice and Greg Hardy...not to mention the kicker for the Giants.

And Theo needs to go into the HoF right now. Don't wait whatever the window is. Don't even vote - just put him in.

 5. Finished Stranger Things and went to DareDevil. The character development has been top notch so far (about 12 episodes in, Season 1).
 6.
With Cleveland winning the NBA Title, there is no way I can root for the Indians.

And if Theo Epstein breaks the curse in Boston AND Chicago? Put the man in the Hall of Fame during the parade.

 7.

If I gave the impression I was ragging on the guy - which I did because I didn't say what I'm about to say - then I gave the wrong impression. Every promotion NEEDS guys you can rely on, night after night, to deliver a solid product. That is an incredibly useful skill set! You can't have a roster of 30 Stone Colds. You need midcard guys who help develop younger wrestlers during victories, who can make others look legit when they beat someone like Strong. One of WWE's holes, I think, is a very poor midcard scene. Strong may not be WWE World Champion material, or even NXT champ material, but he doesn't need to be in order to be a good, valuable pickup - which I think he is.

Or like Triple H has said in interviews, when asked about NXT call ups - it has to be the right time/there has to be a spot for them; you can't have 9 short stops. - to use the baseball analogy he uses.

 8. Or give him a split face mask and call him Dos Caras (hey, he moved up from no face to two by going to TNA!).
 9. Swagger is playing the role he's given. They're trying to build up Corbin, so he's there for that. I liked him with Cesaro a while back, and some of his other stuff. But he'll have another opportunity later on I'm sure.
 10. And the product itself (with some preferring NXT, SD, etc).
 11.
You can do that and take over that company, leaving the juggernaut of SWF behind. To be safe, make a copy of the game, so you have two - one where you can play as the new company and one where you can continue with SWF. You know, in case of regretting the decision or not understanding the decisions the AI does.

Especiallay at 1½ years in, that's a lot of history you've already created.

 12.
Set up a hard brand split by breaking up the company and assigning the workers to the different promotions. Essentially, give them whatever money you want, etc and add a second (and maybe 3rd player) for the new companies. Reduce the contracts to where they are eligible to negotiate and just negotiate as Player 2 (the only ones to bid against would really be SWF and the other company if you do 3) which you would control anyway.

It is a longer process, but basically you would leave as Player 2 and 3 (or leave SWF for one of the new companies!) and "start" a fresh game in the universe you've created.

Another option would be to just reduce the contracts to the negotiation period (or less - a week or so) and let some expire, letting these guys go off on their own. For extra challenge, you can get rid of your top 8 guys (or 8 Main Eventers really) which you would replace with 8 of the 15 UM.

**Or a combination of both: Create a new company in the game to be your competition (give them a War relationship with you) and release some of your top guys. Pretty sure the AI will take the initiative to sign these big stars.

Just a thought.

 13.
Bizarre. Not saying it doesn't happen in the "real world" but the people I've heard of (and known) that this happened with were not in the public eye.

Personal life aside, WWE can't just decide to grant her the release when she asks for it - it would set a bad precedent. Ultimately she'll leave, but let them go through the motions to protect their interests too.

 14.

Yup I knew there was more to the story. Why are they still "testing" her? Are they trying to get out of paying her for the rest of her contract in a shady way? She has asked for her release and they have denied her only to keep suspending her.....For a company that runs so many anti-bullying campaigns this seems a bit hypocritical.

I'm sure the truth is somewhere in the middle.

 15.
The shocked look on Miz's face at the end of the match, hanging on to the ropes - THAT is a great final image.

Lights going out in a Bray Wyatt match - well, that's original.

 16.
Well...that's unfortunate. But let's see what they do with it.

(I do believe that long term that IS the right decision - Bray winning. Doesn't change my thoughts at the moment watching it).

 17. I'm about 30 minutes behind, but I have no problem saying that The Miz is AWESOME.
 18. I'm guessing the cut off would be whenever the re-brand occurs.
 19. Spots like those just make me shake my head in the suspension of disbelief aspect - yes, let me run TOWARDS the person (or wait motionless for them). I get why it's done, and back in the day it wasn't a big deal. So with the imminent purchase of TNA's video library, is it going to be used for Styles, Sting, Roode DVDs, or are we also going to see the stuff show up on the Network at some point?
 20. GSW by 40 against the Clippers. This season might just be fun.
 21. Strange thing is, at least for me, I cared about Heath Slater way more than I ever cared for Bray. Maybe my suspension of disbelief doesn't work as well for characters I just find goofy, but he's all talk. He'd need a severe overhaul and some big wins before he's slotted against a champion. Because in his current state, it'd be a snoozefest.
 22. I just keep up on the shows (for now) on the PPV itself. As for the jobbers, I'd rather they do that than the 50/50 booking they have mastered.
 23. Not to pile on Bray Wyatt, but this from an opinion piece in I think Cageside Seats: There's a current headline at WWE.com that reads, "Orton faces his fears at No Mercy." Unless Randy has a phobia of going over an abysmally booked MINO (Monster in Name Only), and having his hand raised at the end of the program, I'd say he has nothing to worry about. All he has to do is ask anybody with stature that's ever tangled with Bray Wyatt NOT named Dean Ambrose.
 24. There is a second showing of Raw on one of the premium channels (Universal maybe). And they can't object too much if Hulu is also carrying it. I may try it out with Hulu at a reduced price for now.
 25. So basically Hulu, with full show as opposed to condensed version? Depending on the cost, I'd do it. It would just push the viewing a day back (Tuesday Raw, Wednesday Smackdown, Thursday NXT).
