  1. Luke Cage dissappointed me and failed to live up to Daredevil and Jessica Jones. The main villain was lackluster and they talked waaaay too much. Still a decent show, but had it not been a Marvel show, it would have been just another mediocre drama series. I like the guy playing Luke though, he has great presence. And Cottonmouth was fantastic.
  2. It's likely because they are not properly suited to be figureheads and/or there are better options for figureheads available in the promotion.

  4. Millions of Americans not seeing Trump for what he is grinds my gears.
  5. <p>YES! YES! YES!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="CtdC35LVUAAU8uo.jpg:large" data-src="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CtdC35LVUAAU8uo.jpg:large" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  6. I found the Back to The Future game to be quite good and enjoyable. Don't understand the hate at all. If you're a fan of the movies, you should have a good time (unlike with their Jurassic Park game).
  7. Stay away from their Jurassic Park game. Trust me.
  8. I'm pretty much in agreement with you, Dave_Scott. Though I feel you liked it more than I. How did you manage to have Oak get killed?
  9. ...and now I completed it. First two episodes were fairly good, the last one was a huge pile of dissapointment. And the overaching storyline involving her daughters was pure crap.
  10. <p>I played the first two episodes of The Walking Dead: Michonne. Then the cloud save function decided to f--- me over and whiped both my save and my choices completely, prompting me to start over.</p><p> </p><p> I was NOT pleased. In fact, I was more furious than I can remember having been for a long, long time.</p>
  11. It sure brings joy to my heart to see my mod being brought to life in such an imaginative, dedicated and well-crafted fashion. Well done! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  12. Fantastic stuff, as usual! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  13. Wait... so WWE are now doing two brands again yet see it fit to not pick up Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura and the likes? Wow.
  14. I found Dishonored to be great fun, along with the expansions. Fun and engaging story with interesting mechanics to support it. Bring on some more, I say! You'd be surprised how versatile the really good engines can be.

Nothing "Hollywood" about that.</p>
  16. Please don't derail one of my threads untill Saturday. I'll be going away, and I don't want to miss the fun.
  17. You two should merge and form a wrestler. Matt "The Monk" Shannon is a badass indy-name.

So to have ownership over something like that I don't think is really possible. And boy, do you simplify the efforts into making a real world mod. If it's that damn easy, why bother to use the work of others at all? I mean, you make it sound as if the mod pretty much codes itself...</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Ayden" data-cite="Ayden" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42115" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>My problem (and I think most people's problems) is not the freeware/not freeware argument but more how certain people are handling things, the obvious shining example is from the Best In The World mod. Some people are borderline bullying and on a public forum rather than just trying to solve it via PM.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'll agree with this: the argument went a bit overboard, on both sides I'd say. And I played a part in that. It could have been handled better, sure.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Peter.1986" data-cite="Peter.1986" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42115" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>What you have to realise here is there are a lot of new people buying the game this year that like me originally wouldn't even think to look for rules regarding modding, because the thought wouldn't even cross their minds that they aren't allowed to take a mod and change it, or use it to form a mod.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I guess we're just from different worlds, then - because it would never even cross my mind <em>not</em> asking for permission, whether it's a rule or not. It's simply common decency to me.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42115" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>That's the real issue we have here.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> No, the real issue here is that some people have a sense of entitlement that overtrumphs the most basic common decency. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Peter.1986" data-cite="Peter.1986" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="42115" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I can understand getting upset if it is a fictional mod, because that is that persons own ideas, <p> </p><p> Adam could not sell the game with a real life mod as the database because he could easily get taken to court and lose, so all real life mods are made without licences and therefore are not any persons own ideas, you're replicating real life, locations, workers, relationships, everything is an actual copy of something. The only real life mods that the maker actually has any sort of stamp on is the alternate mods, but they still use real people, locations and companies. </p><p> </p><p> So I'm on the side of really you can't complain if someone wants to use a database you have made based on real life, because that idea is not yours, the world is not yours, the permission to actually use the names and pictures are not yours. </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> No offense, but it's pretty clear that you don't know how it feels to spend hundreds of hours of your life creating a mod. Once again, it's the people who doesn't mod themselves that are the strongest proponents for the "just do as you please with no regard to anyone" philosophy.</p><p> </p><p> It baffles me to no end that something as simple as "Hey, we'd like you to simply throw us a PM asking for permission as a sign of respect" can be objected to so fiercely. We're not asking you for money or your first born, we're asking for <em>respect</em> for our hard work. <em>How on earth can that be perceived as being too much to ask for???</em> <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> To me, this kind of behaviour is both shocking and sad. And while I cannot speak for others, I can tell you that if Adam's rules about asking permission are lifted, I'll personally stop making mods for the masses. We modders spend soooo much time you non-modders probably wouldn't believe it trying to create a flush gameworld and a great experience for others <em>for free</em> - and if we can't even be shown the simplest form of gratitude and respect for our work, then why bother?</p>
  21. Private mods for diary use that aren't released to the public are okay.
  22. Due to recent development, my 1994 and 1995 mods are no longer to be considered freeware. I am still very open to people using them as basis for their own mods, but I now require my permission to be given first. I apologize for any inconvenience this my cause, but I put a lot of hard work into these mods and would thus like some resemblance of control thereof. I hope people understand.

  24. Diesel won the WWF World Championship at a house show from Bob Backlund back in 1994 in a squash match. Didn't seem to hurt the title one bit.
