I have a 15 year old son that has watched wrestling with me off and on for the better part of 10 year. All he really knows is WWE. I took him to a couple TNA shows but he just calls them "that other company".

When Kevin Owens and AJ Styles shows up with Cena giving them they need to prove themselves talk it resonates with the WWE Casual fan because they dont know what these guys have done.

I think we superfans get caught up in it and try to nitpick everything.

Amen. It's too much nitpicking. Half a dozen years ago (even less), AJ Styles as WWE Champion, Steen as world champ, and so many other indy guys in that we liked, in the WWE was a mirage and now look how it evolved. More than Triple H (who has his fair share of responsibility), there is also the fact that they now need to cater to the internet fanbase as well, given that the network is an online streaming service. Sure, there is a lot that can be improved, the shows are repetitive cause they did a brand split before bolstering the roster, etc etc, but it has been much worse. A few years back and we would kill for the product we have nowadays. We nitpick too much. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I will take Kyle O'Reily over Boreman Reigns any day.

We know you hate Reigns, no need to tell it in every post. It's like everyone knows I dislike Cena, I don't need to say it every day.

  3.
The women's title booking is ridiculous by now. All the hopping makes me lose interest, especially when we all already know that they're gunning for that stupid ppv streak. The whole division looks forced. Quite honestly, I have no Idea why this feud had ratings. Maybe it's the best of the worst that Raw has out there, but the way they booked the title hoping and Sasha always losing at PPVs makes me lose interest. The fact that someone calls this garbage the next "Steamboat vs Flair of Our Generation," as I've seen on some forums, makes me laugh.

The only good thing that came out of the draft was some of SD's booking and even so it's also repetitive. They need more people on each brand. And creating more shows, like 205 is just adding to all being repetitive. I mean...how many more times will we have to see Jericho vs. Rollins, for example? And right now, (since Dolph is just gonna be fed to Styles), the only real contender to the WWE World Title is John Cena. A Brand split with a couple of main eventers in each brand won't work.

I mean, Raw has either the most over ones or the most protected ones, in general.

How much time will it take for the fans to get used to it or in simpler words, how much time for it to go away.

If you made major changes to the product, all in one go, then you're going to suffer a lot. I don't know how long or how bad are the penalties, since I usually do gradual changes, but I'm guessing several months. Maybe no less then 6. Again, not sure, but this is why it's not recommended to change so much in one go, because the fans, who are used to one product, will not be happy, as they are a fan base of the former stuff you had.

I hope I could help you decide on what to do, cheers and hope the story pans out![/quote']

Thanks, this does indeed help. I will do it as a work and see if i can mend Bret and Shawn's issues.

  9.
So, Im doing a 1997 game with the Montreal Prelude mod and I want todo the screwjob to Bret, to jump start WWE's super edgy product to a new level. I've resigned Bret to a 10 year deal (so even if he hates me he won't be able to go to WCW) and my plan is to do a double turn and make DX face and the Harts heel after SSs, whith Shawn playing the innocent that knew nothing about it, and turning against McMahon (hence turning face) and Bret seeking revenge at all costs, turning heel in the process and even aligning himelf with Vince because he blames Shawn for everything. This should keep me occupied until Wrestlemania season, where eventually Steve Austin might come into the title picture.

Question here is, if I do the screwjob, instead of doing a work simulating one, Bret will probably hate me, if I don't, I don't think he will want to drop the title to Shawn, since they don't like each other. Does the hate relationship ever fades away? Cause Bret will certainly hate me after this if I do a real screwjob. How do you guys think I should go about doing this? Cause I have no idea if the hate relationship ever disappears. I'm open to ideas and Suggestions.

You book to the wrestlers' skills and will get bonuses or penalties based on how well you do it. They are not connected to the product.

Ah, ok. That clarifies my doubts. Thanks for the quick reply. And thanks to Jaysin as well.
