  1. Doing some research, it looks like Bad Girl's birth year should be changed to 1960. 1948 I think might have been a guess since there wasn't as much info to be found when real world mods were first being made for the TEW games years ago as there is now.
  2. Zane Morris getting some love! 😊 I don't know why I didn't get around to cleaning those pics (the Zane Morris ones) up when I first made them. Great job!
  3. Oh no doubt about that. I just thought it was funny that even in TEW 2020, I get that email. 😁
  4. Looking to see if someone can make a Devastation Inc. logo done in the style of the logos used for the GIF version of Fleisch's & Skycrasher's '92 Chronicles mod.
  5. Started a 1992 save, playing as both the WWF & WCW. On the WWF side, I wrapped up the first three weeks of TV for both Superstars & Challenge, edited the database so that I could go ahead & run the Shawn Michaels/Marty Jannetty split myself. Did nicely as Shawn's new gimmick got a Great rating. The following day, I receive an email from Jack Lanza about Marty Jannetty, which I have attached.
  6. Don't know if it's a change I made by accident when I was perusing the data, or if it was that way. But when playing a save in the 92 Chronicles data, the Alamodome was set in Great Lakes. It should be in Mid South.
  7. I don't know if more people are playing with Randomness at a higher setting than Lower, and maybe it's my imagination, but it seems like I've seen some posts (usually on Reddit) lately about workers going into politics. And these are people in the prime of their careers. I could understand someone in their 40s who is a free agent or is not being utilized in the company they work for, but I wouldn't think workers getting a mega push in the prime of their careers would take away so much of their prime being involved in politics. I know Adam has stated the last patch is most likely the last one, but maybe a reconsideration so that there can be one more to tune down how often workers get into politics? I understand if a cheat code can't be implemented just yet as that would most likely add to the coding of the game. But if even that is possible, that's another idea to throw out there. At the very least, maybe something to block workers under say, Age 44, from going into politics? I know we can turn down Randomness, but I'm sure there are players who like to have the other random elements of the game without having to worry about losing their star for three years going into politics, or someone they just signed the day before deciding that they're leaving to go into politics.
  8. I would totally love the tag team battle royal. They can be used to further storylines, & how else would we simulate WrestleMania XIV if we couldn't do a good ol' fashioned tag team battle royal? And I like the idea of the dual-winner finish. In fact, we had that recently on NXT that led to the break up of Toxic Attraction. We also had Sid Vicious & Dan Spivey co-win a battle royal to open the 1989 Great American Bash.
  9. For Chronicles 92, Kerry Von Erich mistakenly got Kevin Von Erich's Texas Heavyweight Title reign (Texas 228 in the Title Lineages section). This was in version 2.4. EDIT: Also, Bill Alfonso is set to Heel in his WCW contract. He should be Babyface. Also, I would recommend removing the 100% Heel attribute so that he won't be penalized portraying a babyface, which he would as an unbiased ref. Better As A Heel would probably suit him better.
  10. I do like the idea of more depth surrounding the Groundswell Of Support attribute. But could there also situations where maybe you have two popular babyfaces, one with the Groundswell Of Support attribute, and one without it, and the one without it still receiving the intended positive reactions while being pushed instead of the one with the Groundswell Of Support attribute? Therefore not getting any penalty? I hope that made sense.
  11. Hope you're feeling better, jhd1. Looking forward to seeing a mod that covers 1986. Just make sure Jim Crockett doesn't move his office to Dallas & buy any promotions. 😛 One question I do have, & maybe this more appropriate for the General Questions thread on the General Discussions board, so apologies if that is the case. But I noticed on the AI results for the WWF, the Dream Team wrestled King Tonga & Moondog Spot in a cage match. What influences the AI to book cage matches? Sometimes those can be so random.
  12. I agree with this. Given that you can have just about infinite road agent notes now, I think a road agent note like "So-&-So eliminates Such-&-Such" would come in handy. Then if it were possible, maybe the game can look over the road agent notes, see who was not given a note to be eliminated, & in the match recap it can say who survived from the winning team.
  13. Looking forward to this. If you ever decide to make a sequel that takes place a few months after this, you can name it "Coffin On Roller Skates." 😛
  14. Something I just uncovered while browsing pictures. The picture named "Doug Stahl" is actually a picture of Dino Casanova. There should be a picture of Doug Stahl in one of the nGo packs. EDIT: He might be listed in one of the pic packs by one of his alter egos, Doug Superior.
  15. No need to rush! Hope your project is going well. And I hope I didn't come off real strong with my earlier feedback. Sometimes I read back on my posts and wonder if I was too strong.
  16. Someone may have brought this up, I can't remember. Anyway, some popularity tweaks & other things I thought could use a touch up for the Chronicles 1992 mod: WWF: -Dan Marsh (Danny Davis.) should be set to Babyface with a different gimmick name in his WWF contract. Referee or Staff Member? -Pop boost for Sean Mooney. He was hosting Event Center segments that advanced WWF storylines, & at his currently popularity, he'll tank segments & cause storylines to lose heat. -Boost to Sean Mooney's star quality. Currently, it's just 34. Maybe in the low to mid 50s? -Lord Alfred Hayes' leg condition shouldn't be 5 yet. He was still able to get around just fine without a wheelchair in 1992. -Slight pop boost for Skinner (Steve Keirn), but just to Recognisable. At this point in 1992, he was still beating enhancement guys on TV. Too bad TEW doesn't have a way to make it to where workers who are Unimportant won't obliterate the match ratings, much like how we could set someone who auto-pushed to Opener or Enhancement Talent to be Lower Midcard. -Slight pop boosts for the Bushwhackers & the Genius (Lanny Poffo). Bushwhackers were still winning against enhancement guys, & they had a TV storyline with the Beverly Bros. And Lanny was managing the Beverlys. Again, just to where they would be Recognisable. -Slight pop boost for Virgil. He just came out of his storyline with Ted DiBiase, was still winning against enhancement guys on TV, & would get the winning fall at WrestleMania VIII in the 8-man tag match IIRC. -Pop boost for Jake Roberts. He is on fire at this point in 1992 with his feud going on with Randy Savage, & it can be argued that the Undertaker got over thanks in part to working with Jake. -Tweaks for Jake Roberts' gimmick. I would name it Evil Incarnate as his character got really dark around this time, at least dark for early 90s WWF. I would also untick the penalties that are associated with his gimmick right now. He could work lengthy matches & angles if need be when he had this gimmick, & I don't recall him losing any overness from losing to someone with a Realistic or Legitimate gimmick. I would also say that maybe his gimmick could qualify as Mysterious/Occult. -Perhaps a pop boost for Mr. Perfect (Curt Hennig)? He was managing Ric Flair & was just as involved in Flair's storylines around this time. -Maybe give Ric Flair the Easy To Do Business With attribute? It's debatable for sure, but for some reason when I booked him in a match against Roddy Piper to go to a double count out, he balked despite being in a positive relationship with Roddy & having the It's Who You Know attribute. I did a test by adding the Easy To Do Business With attribute, & that seemed to do the trick. I know there are times Flair wouldn't do business, but I think even workers with Easy To Do Business With can still balk if the other worker's pop is below them enough. Then again, this could be a bug because Flair had no problems losing when I ran a save, IIRC. WCW: -Slight pop downgrade for Ricky Steamboat. Right now, he's the top Franchise player, & only he & Dusty Rhodes show up in the Franchise Players in the Creative section. For that matter, maybe a slight downgrade for Dusty? They were still over in WCW, though, so maybe just downgrade their perception to Star? Also, maybe downgrade Ricky Steamboat's momentum to Hot? I'm not sure if he should be outranking Sting or Rick Rude at this point. -Maybe boost Sting's momentum to Hot? His popularity is where it should be, but he's only seen as a Star & is outranked by Ricky Steamboat despite being the figurehead. Maybe lower WCW's pop in the Mid Atlantic & South East to 77 to match with Sting? If that lowers WCW to Small size, though, then forget I said that last part. You could raise Sting to 80 or 81, & that might help, perhaps. -Slight pop boost for DDP, but just to Recognisable. He just had a run managing the Freebirds & was getting serious TV time. He was also managing Scott Hall & would be associated with Kevin Nash & Scott Levy in 1992 IIRC. -Pop boost for Jim Ross as he was one of the main voices of WCW by this point. This way, if players use him to interview workers, it won't completely tank the segment. Also, perhaps a boost to Jim Ross' star quality. Right now, it's just at 15. -Pop boost for Mr. Hughes. He got over as Alexandra York's bodyguard, has been working as Harley Race's bodyguard & is teaming with Vader. -IIRC, I think Scott Armstrong should be a babyface in WCW at this point, & he hasn't started refereeing yet. The Referee box should probably unticked in both his contracts & his profile. -Pop boost for Madusa. She's working as a valet for Rick Rude, & she's a player for the Dangerous Alliance. -Pop boost for Tony Schiavone as he's also been one of the main voices of WCW going on two years at this point. I'd also consider boosting his star quality, which currently sits at 23. -Pop boost for Paul Heyman (Paul E. Dangerously). He's pretty much the focal point of the Dangerous Alliance. Can't wait to get a proper game going! I was having fun with previous versions of this mod, so I look forward to how it turns out with all of the improvements you're already working on!
  17. Loved seeing a diary on here actually tackling the initial Shotgun Saturday Night format! I used to love it too because I didn't have cable at the time, and Superstars got moved to USA Network in September 1996, so my only way to keep up with the WWF at the time was to either go to my late sister's house to watch Raw & flip over to Nitro at different points, or to watch Wrestling Challenge (which was shortened to Challenge and took on the recap magazine show format). Needless to say, Shotgun Saturday Night was a breath of fresh air, though I did miss seeing any updates about what happened on Raw, and there was barely any hype leading up to the Royal Rumble & the February In Your House in Shotgun's initial format. I loved that RVD debuted on Shotgun after hearing on Bruce Prichard's podcast how it was none other than Paul Heyman who hooked the WWF up with being able to secure the venues for Shotgun's initial live Saturday night run. Don't know if it was an intentional easter egg nod or not, but nice nonetheless. Loving what I'm reading thus far!
  18. Maybe even further expand the idea to include a limited number of house show appearances. That way, you can simulate someone who will work some house shows, but is not a house show regular.
  19. I think a nice quality of life feature would be the ability to mass auto name title lineages, linking them to the titles they are assigned to. Would be helpful for mod makers who want to update their title histories to fall in line with the name of the titles. Not sure how it would be executed, but just throwing the suggestion out there. EDIT: Eek! Could a mod move this? Somehow I posted this in the wrong forum. Meant to post this in suggestions.

  21. Sorry for the double post, but this came to mind after suggesting the Business Professional attribute. Cool Hand Luke: This worker will not raise a fuss if you start to negotiate with a worker they have a negative relationship with, and their morale will not take a hit if a worker they have a negative relationship with is hired. And a couple of more to boot: Ultimate Backfire: If this worker tries to stir up negative relationships against a worker they have a negative relationship with, the attempt will backfire and this worker will instead develop more negative relationships for themselves. I Tell Stories: A worker who would normally raise a fuss about losing to someone with less popularity than them will never do so if the match is part of a storyline.
  22. Safety Hazard: This worker will struggle to improve their Basics, Consistency and/or Safety stats. Hometown Hero: This worker will only accept exclusive deals in their home country. Foreign Fanatic: This worker is more likely to accept exclusive deals in foreign countries. Didn't Even Notice: This worker can recover from struggling to improvise in a promo and will either not be penalized or be penalized very little. Embarrassment: If this worker appears on a non-wrestling talk show or radio show, then they will have an increased chance of having a poor appearance, and the poor performance has a chance to penalize the worker's popularity. Shining Light: If this worker appears on a non-wrestling talk show or radio show, then they will have an increased chance of having an excellent performance, and the excellent performance has a chance to increase the worker's popularity. Business Professional: Despite being in a negative relationship with another worker, this worker will put their differences aside and give the opponent they have a negative relationship with the best match possible.
  23. For 1992, I think there was an issue with Brian Wenzel also, right? His birth year and debut year being reversed by accident?
  24. Since we can't edit the text that is in the match and angle recap when running a show like we could in TEW 2016, it would be nice if there was a way (maybe in the next TEW if not this version) to be able to choose what kind of tainted win after picking the Tainted Win road agent note. We may have in our head that we want a heel to win with their feet on the ropes, but when running the show, the text will say that they used a foreign object. Granted, we can have our own head canon, and diary writers are not bound to what the text box says. However, it would be nice to have the option. Maybe have it to where if we don't choose what kind of tainted win, then the AI will randomly select what kind of tainted win it is as it does now.
  25. My apologies that I have practically abandoned this thread. I wanted to post that I've been away for the last couple of months and progression on my work has pretty much stalled. Long story short, I'm busier at work (not going to complain about that), and I've been enjoying the free time I get with other hobbies of mine. It's too bad there are only 24 hours in a day. Earth 77, if that releases, it could very well be on a future iteration of TEW if not on TEW 2020. Elseworld 52, that's up in the air. So I'll say this: you most likely won't hear anymore updates from me unless I'm close to completion on anything. I don't want to drag anyone along, get their hopes up or what have you. I have given thought to maybe leaving modding altogether and being more of a contributor, but I'll cross that bridge if I get to it.
