  1. Could anybody tell me the status of this mod, please? I'd like to start a new save, but if it's worth waiting a week or two for the next release, then I'll happily do that.

I'm pretty happy with the plans I have set up and can't wait to book them and write them out. Thanks for your continued support!</div></blockquote><p> No mate, thank YOU. The way you write your shows is incredible, you can really picture it happening. It must be a lot of work though, I really hope you can go the distance on this one.</p><p> </p><p> I’m really excited how you book up to and beyond WrestleMania XX!</p>
  3. WOW!! What a simply awesome show!! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of that While I have to say I expected either Eddie or Benoit to win and I’m slightly disappointed at the result, I AM glad that is wasn’t Benoit. It’s good to see the dynasty diverge from history here and I’m hoping you continue on in your own right now. Can’t wait to see where you go from here!
  4. <p>I never use ANY weight or sex restrictions for my titles with the exception of Maximum Light for Cruiserweight (WWF Light Heavyweight) or women for Women’s titles.</p><p> </p><p> Everything else is unrestricted for weight and sex.</p>
  5. Ahhh, there's your issue. As brilliant as Genadi's mods are, they don't convert to 2020 well. Generally the converter makes most of the personalities negative, meaning every mod I've converted is basically unplayable.
  6. My biggest advice is have fun and try not to burn yourself out. I've written three dynasties across the last several iterations of TEW and on every occasion I've gone too hard too early and always ended up losing motivation. As soon as it feels like a chore, it's basically over.
  7. In hindsight I should've swapped the Rock/Regal match with Austin/Crash, but the total show grade was still good enough. Currently figuring out why Angle/Rikishi is the Main Event of the second episode of Smackdown! and then I'll post my Week 2 results.

So I let Autobooker book the show and then I try and work with the segments to make it make sense.</p><p> </p><p> So I was the same as you, I went “why Crash?” and my head canon is that Bischoff is still punishing WWF and Austin by booking a crappy Main Event. “See everybody? You get world title matches on Nitro, but only Austin vs Crash on WWF TV!”</p>

I want them to take a loss, they don't, I sweeten the deal after the show.<p> </p><p> Shawn Michaels said he was unhappy to lose to HHH. It wasn't furious, just mildly unhappy at the result. </p><p> </p><p> After the show he's angry. This is out of the blue. He wasn't furious. So, I pay my usual $100,000 bonus. He's still angry. Two more times, he's angry. Frustrated, I throw him an extra $2 mil. He's still angry. </p><p> </p><p> Is this a bug, or has the AI learned that I'm a pushover? lol</p></div></blockquote><p> I’ve never had this happen before, and like you, I solve all my morale issues by throwing money at workers.</p>
  11. Hahaha that's the most attention I've ever given to a Sunday Night Heat write-up... bravo
  12. Where did you get the Mod from? Sounds like the personalities are stuffed.
  13. Almost every single product has a comment regarding match lengths as far as I can see, with only a few exceptions... Should be something like "Matches less than 15 minutes will not be able to achieve world class scores" or "Fans expect matches to be short or will get bored if they go long". Which product are you using?
  14. I’ve wanted this in every version of the game so far Not sure how hard it would be to implement, but being able to repair title histories would be amazing
  15. What’s your product? It should say what your match lengths are meant to be. Some products can short matches, and others penalise long matches.
  16. Yeah, they always hold back on TV and save their big matches for PPV. It’s working as it should, so you hit the higher scores at your big events.
  17. To get maximum rating for that match you also needed Call in Ring, Open Match and Slow Build.
  18. NICKMAN'S INVASION - WEEK 1, JANUARY 2002 So I've finally gotten around to booking the first WCW Nitro and WWF Smackdown! for the new year in TEW2020. The game seems to have converted quite well and is playing nicely. Only thing I've had to do is edit a few of the popularities to align with my save (especially a lot of my development guys who needed to be edited DOWN). So here we have the first Nitro: What happened at the start of the show here, Austin wanted his rematch for the WWF Championship, but Nash and Hogan "swapped" world titles. Bischoff tells him this means he no longer gets a rematch as Nash is no longer the WWF Champion. And Week 1 January Smackdown!... Like he did with Starrcade, Bischoff wanted to cancel the Royal Rumble and replace it with Souled Out, but Linda McMahon informed him that as one of the "Big Four", Bischoff is contractually obligated to hold the Royal Rumble. Later in the night he books Austin vs Crash as the Main Event, to basically show how crappy the WWF is in comparison to WCW. Unfortunately, both these shows feel a bit aimless as I refamiliarise myself with the save and head towards the Royal Rumble. I know where I eventually want to go with the Rumble/WrestleMania X8, but getting there I'm still a bit unsure of. Happy to take any suggestions along the way...
  19. Man, I really can’t wait for this one! This has already been one of the best written dynasties of all time in my opinion, and I just KNOW that the Royal Rumble and the subsequent Road to Wrestlemania is going to be no different!

  21. So the way I've just recently done it was converted a 2002 TEW2016 save to TEW2020 using the Converter. I then took Mr Villian's excellent 2004 mod and wound the start-date back to 2002. I then deleted all of the companies, tag teams, chemistry notes, alter egos, tv shows etc (except broadcasters). Then I imported stuff from the converted TEW2016 save into my 2004 save that had been wound back to 2002, starting with the companies, and then moving on to tag teams, alter egos, chemistry notes, TV shows etc. It worked really, really well. The fiddly bit was making sure workers' names were called the same thing in both mods (and I missed a few) so that their contracts, title lineages, tag teams and alter egos loaded in properly, but you get warning notes when things don't import so can circle back (as an example Scotty 2 Hotty's alter ego doesn't load in, so you go back and find he's called "Scotty Taylor" and not "Scott Taylor", rectify his name and then re-import everything). It's still not the quickest of processes, but I anticipate I could convert a mod within about an hour now I have the process down. I think I'll probably have a crack at Genadi's 2001 "Death of WCW" or "WCW Lives" next if anyone is interested. The big thing is popularity levels are at 2004 and not 2002, but I was able to adjust them in my save, so no real big deal.
  22. I love this concept so much and love reading about your saves. I've tried to do this myself a few times unsuccessfully with both 97 and 96 mods but just can't get into it. I think once a good Montreal Aftermath mod (and I might make one myself now I've had limited success with converting my 2002 save game to TEW2020) comes out I'll probably try it again with that. You should post your PPV's in the What's Happening in Your Game thread, I'd love to read them. Do like I did, just hit the high notes for the storylines for the month in dot points and then post a screenshot of the PPV. One thing though, doesn't that make NINE shows per month, not ten? EDIT: Don't worry about me, I'm an idiot. It's ten total, I was thinking ten each month each promotion for some reason.
