Tommy Cornell: “Where it all started, ey boys...?! I came 'ere... almost 25 years ago... to become SWF World Heavyweight Champion... and I was let down, by Richard Eisen... Now... His two sons are in charge, and they've brought me back... But this time, it won't be up ta them if I succeed... It'll be up to me... and it'll be up to two sons, of one of my greatest ever opponents... Sam Keith...” Greg Keith: “This is the house that my Father built... and Richard Eisen tossed him aside as soon as he'd outlived his usefulness... WE'RE here... to avenge that... But not on Eric and Jerry (Eisen)... They did nothing wrong... We're here to destroy all the kiss-ass SWF Wrestlers... The ones who suck up to the SWF fans... and the ones who forget, that without Sam Keith and Tommy Cornell, this place would be NOTHING...!!” Matthew Keith: “We have a list of names... But Rocky Golden IS... Our primary target... He thinks beating Jack Bruce made him some kind of 'Living Legend'...?! He wants immortality... He needs to fight Tommy Cornell... THE... undisputed... best wrestler on the planet...!!” The Keith Twins looked like they were about done talking... but before the group could leave the ring safely, they got some company... Remo Richardson, Mikey Lau and Valiant strolled to the ring, followed gingerly by Rogue, who has been injured for a little while... Tonight, 'The Scoundrel' Rogue was wearing a neck brace, and he stood at ringside while his friends surrounded the ring... Matthew Keith did perhaps the smartest thing he could possibly do, as he aggressively threw the microphone at Rogue... knocking the vicious Brit over!! As Rogue hit the deck, he yelled and held his neck in pain... Valiant went to his friend's side, while Remo and 'The Dragon' slid into the ring... It was 3 on 2 in favour of Cornell and the Keith Twins, because Val was preoccupied... Remo took the fight to the three men though, and the 2 began to gain control... Cornell and co. managed to get out of the ring before the fired up Valiant got in though... and the fight ended before Val could get any revenge...!! In two nights, we're going to have a six-man tag team match at The World Is Watching... Remo, Lau and Valiant versus Cornell, Greg and Matthew Keith... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #fafbff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> w/ w/ Angry Gilmore w/ Joey Morgan [vs] Hollywood Bret Starr w/ The Unleashed Rat Pack If Tommy Cornell is the best technical wrestler in the company right now, Angry Gilmore is a close second, and Joey Morgan is right up there too. However, Hollywood Bret Starr is as resilient and resourceful as they come. He used the five members of the Unleashed Rat Pack to his advantage, despite Morgan's futile attempts to stop them getting involved, and then put Gilmore down with the 'Starr Maker'. 72 Winner: Hollywood Bret Starr w/ The Unleashed Rat Pack Finish: 'Starr Maker' (Big Boot) </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Big Smoke Backstage, 'The Conman' Sammy Smoke was boasting to anyone who'll listen that he's going to beat 'Big Money' Brandon James in a game of cards next week on Supreme TV, IF Atom Smasher doesn't beat him... because he wants to get the money that James stole from The Unleashed Rat Pack, back for them... Sammy Smoke: “Dose poor guys... had deir money STOLEN... From that no good, 'Big Cat' Brandon James... Well now, he's gonna have a BIG problem... and that... is a Sammy Smoke guarantee...!!” Overhearing Smoke and his big mouth, Jungle Lord walked up... Jungle Lord: “Sammy... The unassuming youth seeking instruction with humility gains good fortune... If you face Brandon James in a card game next week... you will lose... But if you don't have anything on... Why don't you meet me in the ring...!!” Smoke sloped away, keen to not anger Jungle Lord or turn the disagreement into a physical altercation... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #fafbff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Spencer Spade, ZWB & Robbie Retro [vs] Robbie Wright, Jimmy Hernandez & Des Davids This match was on its way to being an instant classic six-man tag, which is rare to say for this type of match. However, after all six men hit some great offence, things broke down into chaos, and the referee had no choice but to call for the bell when Des Davids began pummelling Robbie Retro with a steel chair! Davids was stopped by Jimmy Hernandez, who stole the chair from Davids and was angry his team lost. But he soon changed his mind as ZWB approached! He started wearing the chair out on ZWB's head. Next week at The World Is Watching, Hernandez challenges ZWB for the North American Title. Des Davids battles Robbie Retro, the man who cost him his North American Title shot. And the other two men in the match, Spencer Spade and Robbie Wright will fight it out for Spade's 'Everything To Gain' contract! 78 Winners: Spencer Spade, ZWB & Robbie Retro Finish: 'Disqualification' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Awesome Theory Backstage, four members of the Unleashed Rat Pack were arguing... Showing signs of cracks appearing within the dominant group of eight... Hollywood Bret Starr: “Who the HELL do you guys think you are...?! Earlier tonight, you didn't come to the ring for MY big match against Angry Gilmore...” Randy Unleashed: “You BETTER be out there for MY big match... against Rocky Golden... Yu know, Fame and Money have a big match next too... against The Dallas Cowboys...” The Awesomeness didn't say anything... they just pulled their smart phones out, and showed Randy and Bret the headline on their news feeds: The quote from last week, where Randy and Bret claimed that The Awesomeness are the THIRD best tag team in the Unleashed Rat Pack... Huey Cannonball and Jefferson Stardust then held their Championship Belts up, and said “Huh?” over and over again until Randy and Bret walked off... Presumably heading to the ring to support Fame and Money... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #fafbff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> w/ w/ The Dallas Cowboys w/ Hannah [vs] Fame and Money w/ BJ O'Neil and Justin Sensitive Two excellent tag teams here, and two sets of former two-time SWF Tag Team Champions! Both duos will be aiming to get back to the summit at the earliest opportunity, with The Dallas Cowboys getting a Fatal Four Way Tag Team Title shot in two nights at The World Is Watching. Randy Unleashed and Hollywood Bret Starr arrived at ringside late on, but their presence wasn't enough to stop Marshall Dillon locking Monty Trescarde in the 'Crackdown' and making him tap out! 75 Winners: The Dallas Cowboys w/ Hannah Finish: 'Crackdown' (Tazmission) </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> James No Angelle Backstage, manager of 'Big Money' Brandon James: Krissy Angelle was stood face to face with Atom Smasher, who was flanked by his own manager Kristen Pearce... Krissy Angelle: “Here's the deal Atom Smasher... In your match with the 'Big Cat' at The World Is Watching... if you win... James will come and work for you, until his debt to The Unleashed Rat Pack is paid... But if he wins... He gets that envelope of yours...” Angelle was referring to the documents that Kristen Pearce was holding... Last week, Smasher revealed that he had details of all of the previous injuries of ALL members of the SWF roster... giving him a slight, yet potentially significant, advantage over everyone he faces... He revealed it after chop blocking James' knee one week ago, and 'Big Money' isn't here tonight as a result... Atom Smasher: “Tell your little cat... That the stipulation sounds puurrrrrrfect to me... YOUR HERO... will put that miscreant down... and then OWN him... 'Sensational' Steven Parker is to battle 'Platinum' James Prudence in what is set to be an entertaining and evenly fought contest... Both men have the potential to win any Championship they want, but now both in their late 30s (Parker is 35, Prudence is 40), 2020 could be their year to kick on before it's too late... Brown got hurt in the Everything To Gain Ladder Match two months ago now, and hasn't been on Supreme TV since... but in one week, he'll make his triumphant return!! </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #fafbff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> w/ 'The Living Legend' Rocky Golden [vs] Randy Unleashed w/ The Rat Pack Incredible Main Event here, involving two very well-decorated former Champions, but it was the current SWF World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Golden who impressed most. He not only beat Randy Unleashed, but he also made sure that Hollywood Bret Starr, Justin Sensitive, Monty Trescarde and Paul Huntingdon weren't a factor at ringside by beating them all up! When he and Randy fought man to man, Randy shone though. He was quicker, and he seemed to hit harder, with the announce team suggesting that Rocky had used up his energy taking out the members of the Unleashed Rat Pack on the outside of the ring. In the end though, 'The Rack' (Torture Rack) weakened Randy significantly! Rocky delivered one more boot to Bret Starr, which sent him flying into the rest of the group on the floor, before hitting the 'Rocky Road' and scoring the win! 91 Winner: 'The Living Legend' Rocky Golden Finish: 'Rocky Road' (Curb Stomp) </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #0050B3; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Rocky Ready After the match, 'The Eighth Deadly Sin' John Greed hit the ring, followed by his muscle, 'The Dark Reaper' Scythe!! Scythe climbed over the top rope, as Rocky, who was crouched on one knee exploded into life!! The SWF World Heavyweight Champion knew the attack was coming, and he was ready for it... He slammed into Scythe, and took him out of the ring with a tackle that sent him through the ropes to the floor!! Greed followed Scythe into the ring, but Rocky was in a dominant mood, and he kicked Greed hard in the face!! The bodies were scattered around Rocky, as the Unleashed Rat Pack took their leave and staggered away... Golden lined up for the 'Rocky Road' Curb Stomp on Greed, but Scythe pulled his friend out under the bottom rope by his foot at the last minute... and saved him from taking Rocky's best shot... If Rocky hits that move in two nights at The World Is Watching, he'll retain his Championship and complete the one year reign... But Greed will have some tricks up his sleeve... including 'The Dark Reaper'...     I look forward to it. Thank you man, it felt like everything came together well this month. Into the 3/4 month mark of the diary, where I've put my stamp on the characters, and brought in some big signings to bolster the Main Event and tag team division The perfect storm kind of thing.

    Glad to have you reading and predicting Absolutely massive! I liked Davids' alts with blonde hair, so just went for it to differentiate him a little more Hi. Oh did I? Slander is a little strong isn't it? I just meant he's not my most over babyface, he's around 8th. His entertainment stats will probably stop him ever reaching the pinnacle in the company unfortunately, but his Queen Fan character, with the Dragon Attack entrance music, and his in-ring skills, make him a huge favourite. Cornell needed a big debut match, and Lau is the perfect first opponent. Close enough in popularity to beat him (by DQ or something) and it not annoy Cornell in-game too... He sure is. If you're ever unsure, I always write the babyface's name(s) first in a face vs heel match. Haha! Poor Ekuma! He's a great talent, and has the size. Just in a funk wins/losses wise. For now...

However, 'The Great One' was able to muster the strength to hit a Samoan Drop to stem the flow of offence that Jericho was able to put together against him. The crowd came alive for The Rock, and they helped him get back into it. Moments later, the 'People's Elbow' hit the mark, but then 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin arrived to cause a distraction. With Rock looking over the top rope at his rival, Jericho pounced, but Rock saw it coming and ducked him. There will be exceptions to this of course, but for example Umaga debuted on RAW in July 2002, so I could have brought him up any time from July 2001 onwards and he arrived in November (so only 8 months earlier than in real life)... This one next week is going to be, 3 or 4 weeks outside of that, but I'm okay with it... Whether I stick to this rule I'm not sure, but I like it for now. </div>

    I'm always torn about bringing in a big big signing. From memory, this might be the biggest signing I've ever made. But I always think their first match shouldn't be like, a HUGE 1 on 1 Pay-Per-View Match... I like to ease them in really, with a smaller singles match on TV, and in Cornell's case his first PPV match will be easing him in too. Not to bury Mikey Lau, but right now he's 7th or 8th most over babyface, so I don't see it as a huge one. But there's a lot of Tommy Cornell matches you would call big!! Cornell versus any of these is big in my opinion: Mikey Lau Valiant Rocky Golden Remo Rogue Atom Smasher Spencer Spade Eric Eisen Matty Faith Either Keith Twin Angry Gilmore Joey Morgan Crippler So, interestingly, he's not on that level. I've been working hard to get his popularity up in recent weeks, but as of where I'm writing, there are 7 or 8 heels more over than him. So I guess he's on Mikey Lau's level. But when he's got a guy like Scythe accompanying him to the ring, and all the skills I like in a Sports Entertainment Main Eventer, he's hard to deny. I kind of feel like I needed Cornell to come in to the heel side of the Main Event scene. Losing Crippler to injury and then rehab really hit my World Title plans hard. Once Rocky has been through Remo, I'm left with limited options for a challenger if I'm not pulling the trigger on Cornell/Rocky straight away. I also believe that Cornell/Rocky doesn't need the World Title either. It's an interesting time! I can always go back to Rocky/Remo... I have Valiant, Rogue, Smasher and lots of other potential challengers for either Rocky or Greed...

    RAW's often eschews the more traditional wrestling tropes. But there's one staple of the wrestling show that seems inescapable; the title match contract signing! But when Will Beaumont and Frogue Element meet to discuss the terms of their fight which one will end the show standing tall in the ring? Agree with Willsky that Beaumont will get his comeuppance, but it won't be here in a contract signing... Maybe they cost him the Title match, maybe he wins it and they go after the title. The possibilities, are endless. Nicky Gilbert vs Luke Steele Artemis E-Y vs Brodie Lachlan Loxley Robbins vs Bret Heartbreak Such a talented roster. I like all six of the guys in matches, and Will, and Frogue. Gonna be a good show!

It made for a compelling watch, and the match could easily have headlined a pay-per-view. For the finish, Smasher was looking to hit his 'Mushroom Cloud' Piledriver, but Rocky was too strong for him. With his head between Smasher's legs, he raised up to a standing position to hit a back body drop. 'The Scoundrel' took personal offence to Starr's antics, and decided to attack him! This lead to the referee sending both men to the back, which presented an opportunity for Randy. Another of his stable-mates BJ O'Neil sauntered out to the ring moments later, and continued to cheat on her friend's behalf. Valiant was fired up though, and determined to make it three wins from three under Rogue's 'guidance', for want of a better word.     Oh wow, thanks for all the positivity guys I guess when you sign the best wrestler in the game (and the guy the universe is named after) it's kind of a big deal. Just hope I do his run... 'Justice'... Ah thank you! So I did use the Greg and Matthew Keith renders for the Martin Twins (Absolutely Flawless) but I edited their mouths a little to make them look less like The Keith Twins: I have an interesting past with Cornell. Had him in 21CW obviously, but he was also the big signing for my first NOTBPW/CGC diary. He came in as a surprise participant in the big 5 on 5 Team Stone vs Team DeColt 'Final Battle', and turned heel on his debut. Here he is already a heel, coming in hot, and to a huge ovation obviously. The SWF fans would LOVE his arrival, because not only is he amazing in the ring, on the mic etc. It's also a signal of intent. TCW and USPW both came in for him... 21CW wanted to keep him... and we beat them!! But he's a heel. He can't be trusted. Oh and here's the new Tommy renders:
