  1. JANUARY 2020, WEEK 3… Show Rating: 85 Announce Team: Michael Cole, Charly Caruso and Corey Graves <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> The Fox Network Representative 'The A-Lister' Miz opened the show tonight, keen to explain his role as the Fox Network Representative... He said he hasn't been living under a rock all week, and he's seen the comments and questions online... The Miz: “Essentially, Fox wanted some eyes... and ears... on the ground... They wanted someone they could trust to spend the money from a PAY rise sensibly... and guys... Please... I hear your boos... But if you cheer me, I get paid MORE... So can we just... okay...?” The crowd booed louder, but Miz wasn't flustered at all... He continued to lament the fans, and boast about his accolades... The Miz: “But what does my NEW role involve... I am MATCH MAKER... Decision Maker... General Manager... but I will continue to be an in-ring competitor when needed... After all, I'm Fox's 'Go To Guy'... Need an 'A-List' Five Star Main Event...?! Call The Miz... Need someone to REPLACE Daniel Bryan in the Royal Rumble Match...?! Send in The Miz!! I thank you...” Miz dropped his microphone and strolled to the back... not a single person in the crowd was cheering him... Will Daniel Bryan need replacing in the Royal Rumble Match...? Or will he be medically cleared in time...? We will find out more later... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> 'The Time Splitter' KUSHIDA [vs] 'The Finest' Kona Reeves Reeves is long and awkward, and hard to move around. He is also incredibly arrogant, so KUSHIDA just waited until the 'Finest' Hawaiian got too cocky and then took advantage of the opening, making Reeves tap out in the end. 52 Winner: 'The Time Splitter' KUSHIDA Finish: 'Hoverboard Lock' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Time To Wake Up Velveteen Dream has had a rough couple of weeks... crossing paths with WALTER and Imperium... and he was sat backstage next... On his patented purple sofa, Dream laid back, and then shot up out of his seat... looking intense and fired up... Velveteen Dream: “How does The Dream bounce back from our loss to Imperium last week...? How...? Well The Dream WAKES UP... and fights WALTER 1 on 1... Man To Man... Next week!!” </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> 'Sun Of The Ring' Akira Tozawa [vs] 'The Viper' Randy Orton Akira Tozawa turned a lot of heads in this match, with a fantastic performance. Orton is one of the most experienced men in the WWE, and has won a multitude of Championships, but Tozawa hung in there until the very end. He hit some unique offence, and tried to rip Orton's limbs from his body. In the end, he walked onto an 'RKO', and was turned inside out by the impact of the move. Orton considered destroying the Japanese star after the match, but walked away instead. 81 Winner: 'The Viper' Randy Orton Finish: 'RKO' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Storm Wrecked The Glow Backstage, Naomi was stood with newcomer Toni Storm... and the veteran told Storm she let her down last week... Storm tried to apologise for costing Naomi her match with Mickie James, and said she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time... Mickie James walked up, and told Naomi to not get things twisted in her mind... Mickie James: “Let's get it straight... It doesn't matter WHAT Toni (Storm) did... I would have beaten you anyway, Naomi... and you'll BOTH be in the wrong place at the wrong time, when I eliminate you BOTH from the Women's Royal Rumble Match!!” Naomi and Storm confirmed that they are both IN the match... and said they'd see Mickie there... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Heavy Machinery [vs] The Acts Of God (Roode & Ziggler) One sided tag team match here, with The Acts Of God dominant. Otis didn't take the match seriously enough, and Roode and Ziggler have been too good for too long to let him get away with that. Roode hit Tucker with the 'Glorious DDT' to finish it. 65 Winners: The Acts Of God (Roode & Ziggler) Finish: 'Glorious DDT' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> The Samoan Dynasty Backstage, Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso were sat in a locker room... With an important mission... Reigns said that the group must continue the Samoan Dynasty... It's too important to ignore anymore... Roman Reigns: “We have a responsibility to our Family... The Samoan greats that came before us... Afa... Sika... Rikishi... Rocky Johnson... The Rock... To continue their legacy... Together, we can take over Smackdown... Take over the WWE... I can win the Royal Rumble Match... The USOS can become Smackdown Tag Team Champions... But first, we have to stop Drew McIntyre and Damnation (Harper and Rowan)...” Reigns announced that next week, the Samoan Dynasty will battle the aforementioned Drew, Harper and Rowan in a six man tag team match!! </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> The Great and the Young Elsewhere backstage, Chad Gable and Eric Young, who were beaten by Imperium in a 4 on 4 match last week, were talking... 'The Great' Gable told Young that it was an honour teaming with him last week... and it will also be an honour to eliminate him from the Royal Rumble!! Eric Young: “Not if I eliminate you first, kid... I liked teaming with you too... But make no mistake... at the Rumble... I'm in it to win it...” At that moment, Epico and Primo Colon walked up, and told E-Y and Gable if they like teaming up so much, they can fight The Colons next week!! </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Dominik Dijakovic [vs] 'The Freak' Lars Sullivan After weeks and months of build, it was finally time to see these two big behemoths lock horns. It was hard-hitting, but in the end Dijakovic hit a 'Discuss Big Boot' to put 'The Freak' away. 60 Winner: Dominik Dijakovic Finish: 'Discuss Big Boot' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> The Imperium Theory Backstage, WALTER and the rest of Imperium were shown watching the action... WALTER said he does NOT accept Velveteen Dream's challenge from earlier tonight... WALTER: “I don't feel tha need... to fight a 'Dreamer' like Velveteen Dream... But I doo know someone, who will fight ANYONE... Zo Alexander Wolfe... versus Velveteen Dream... Next week!!” </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> KO In Your House One of the favourites for this year's Men's Royal Rumble Match, Kevin Owens was on our screens next... Kevin Owens: “At the Royal Rumble... I'll make sure Randy Orton goes DOWN... and out of the match... Then I'll go on to WrestleMania, and Brock Lesnar, will go DOWN... But there's something I need to know... I need to know if Daniel Bryan is a threat to my plans...” Owens said that he needs to know if Bryan is in the Rumble... if he'll be medically cleared after he was taken out by Orton... Orton hit an 'RKO' on the concrete up in the stands, and given Bryan's recent concussion issues, his career could be at risk once again... Kevin Owens: “Bryan... One of the BEST to ever do this... hasn't been seen since the attack... So I'm gonna go to his HOUSE... and ask him... Face to face... if he's IN the Rumble...!!” </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> w/ 'The Queen' Charlotte Flair [vs] Billie Kay w/ Peyton Royce Possibly the most one-sided match of the year so far. Charlotte was dominant and focused as she easily but Kay away. 79 Winner: 'The Queen' Charlotte Flair Finish: 'Figure Eight' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Horsewomen After the match, Charlotte Flair asked for a microphone... She had a lot to say about her Royal Rumble challenger Shayna Baszler... Charlotte Flair: “So at the Royal Rumble, I've been invited to watch the Women's Rumble Match alongside my old friends Sasha (Banks) and Becky (Lynch)... and I will BE there... People seem to think I'll be too 'pre-occupied' by my opponent and challenger Shayna Baszler... But although Shayna is dangerous, I won't be doing any extra 'preparation' for her... I'm just treating it, as a normal, run of the mill, match...” These comments obviously brought Shayna Baszler to the ring, but she stopped short of climbing in... Shayna Baszler: “Charlotte... This is just another reason why I'm going to BEAT you at the Royal Rumble... Your arrogance to not prepare properly for an athlete the calibre of me... And you talk about joining your 'friends'... You all don't even like each other... Whereas my girls... My Horsewomen... Go EV... ER... Y... WHERE... with me...” At that moment, Shayna's 'girls' Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke slid into the ring behind Charlotte!! Charlotte was able to fend off the 2 on 1 attack, but then Shayna slid in behind her again, and took her down at the legs... It then became 3 on 1, and Shayna shouted “Where are your Horsewomen?!” over and over again... Shayna and Charlotte WILL go 1 on 1 at the Royal Rumble for the Smackdown Women's Title... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Damnation versus Dynasty Backstage, Drew McIntyre and the Smackdown Tag Team Champions Damnation were stood talking... Drew told Harper and Rowan that next week they're going to war together... To take on the Samoan Dynasty!! Drew McIntyre: “We need to stop this group growing, because they have the chance to take over Smackdown!! Three of the best wrestlers, and biggest stars on Friday Nights... but WE can take them out next week!!” </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #2337dd; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> 'The One and Only' Ricochet [vs] 'The King Of Strong Style' Shinsuke Nakamura Amazing way to end a packed show here. Ricochet and Nakamura looked like they'd wrestled each other fifty times this year already, and showed great chemistry from bell to bell. A non-Title match, both men knew the winner would enter the Men's Royal Rumble Match, so they fought extremely hard to ensure a victory. In the end, Nakamura attempted his 'Kin-Shasa', but Ricochet ducked it, and as both men turned around, Ricochet hit his 'Recoil' (Codebreaker), and landed on the Japanese 'King Of Strong Style'! Ricochet is IN the Men's Rumble!! 82 Winner: 'The One and Only' Ricochet Finish: 'Recoil' </div> Michael Cole: “Ricochet becomes the latest talent to declare for the Men's Royal Rumble... and we have ONE WEEK to go!!” Charly Caruso: “One episode of RAW... One episode of NXT... and one more episode of Smackdown on Fox!!” Corey Graves: “A week is a long time in the WWE guys... we'll see you here LIVE next week!!” KUSHIDA [def.] Kona Reeves Randy Orton [def.] Akira Tozawa The Acts Of God [def.] Heavy Machinery Dominik Dijakovic [def.] Lars Sullivan Charlotte Flair [def.] Billie Kay Ricochet [def.] Shinsuke Nakamura Nothing to report here for now... I said I'd be ramping up the pace, and then I haven't posted a show for five days haha!! But things will continue to move fairly quickly

  5. Well done Togg, I bet that took a lot of work. Truly an outstanding contribution to the forums! Happy to be nominated for a few awards there, and my thanks to everyone who nominated me or voted for my work. Well done to all the winners, and I hope you all keep writing and enjoying it
  6. Woohoo! Thanks to everyone who nominated and voted. Hope you're all safe and well xx
  7. CGC Tag Team Titles: Skip Beau & Jack DeColt vs Express Delivery © LMS PReview: Diablo DeVille vs Ian Identity vs Joey Poison vs Sayeed Ali vs Stevie Grayson Rematch: Frozen North vs Woolabonga Bogans Dice Elderberry vs Gnaw Really enjoying this still. Caught all the way up now and can't wait for the Rumble. Interested to see who you bring in to fill the gaps left by Torque and DaLay. Will they be one off deals, or will they be new signings?!
  8. Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I'll no doubt have a go at some more in the coming weeks.
  9. So the ones on the right are different renders. Not of Abattoir, Asylum, Acheron and Dexter Mattell, but of different people. I think Abattoir was Human Arsenal. Asylum was definitely an Eric Eisen render. Acheron I think was one of JTLant's recent bunch he released from a mod that never took off. Dexter was actually George DeColt of all people!! I probably oversold myself a bit there I meant I edited other renders to make them look like more 'modern' versions of the older ones.
  10. <p>Just mucking about in GIMP with a few guys who haven't been updated as far as I could tell... **I did not make the original renders, I just kind of, painted over them to make them look more in line with modern artist's work**</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Abattoir</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="7j9ne1J.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7j9ne1J.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="AmpMtC3.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/AmpMtC3.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Acheron</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="KYkYiVr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KYkYiVr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="rf5IFNp.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rf5IFNp.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Asylum</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GQUNWJ4.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GQUNWJ4.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="AaY5Grc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/AaY5Grc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Dexter Mattell</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="nLijz9k.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/nLijz9k.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="xRX5Zvz.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/xRX5Zvz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  11. Thanks man In that same diary Kobe got signed by USPW, or was it SWF?! One of the two. He was Enhancement Talent though "/ Had about 3 matches in 6 months!! A couple that I'm looking forward to seeing. I'll go with my favourites and put some ideas about where they might be: Buff Martinez and Jay B - AKA Hot Stuff! I hope they are both still Main Event guys in 21CW. Could see one or both moving to the States too, but you could say that about most 21CW Main Eventers. Gino Montero. I think I know where he'll be but he was a Mega Star for me in NOTBPW so I'd love to see him go to Canada or the States. Spencer Spade. Probably still be in developmental, bless him. Wade Orson. 21CW's top star. Probably just finished, or is still, feuding with Tommy Cornell. Joey Beauchamp. He's just my boy. I think he was the head booker for someone in Europe in 2016. I'd like to see him get a run in a big company, even if he's low down the card. The DeColts and The Stones. An obvious one. Do they have kids wrestling, or soon to debut? Is David Stone near the top of NOTBPW already?! Has Edd returned?! Have Jack and Steve retired?! Is Ricky in the States?! Ahhh I'm excited.
  12. Yeah it's a concept I think is very close to how things could go in reality. I've always thought the WWE should have an 'off season' each year. Only needs to be a few weeks, maybe twice a year. My top tips for new writers: Don't put pressure on yourself to get a show out on a specific day. I tend to write a few shows ahead (I'm 18 ahead in my current diary). That way, if I take a break from writing for a couple of weeks, I can still post a couple of shows and not have to worry about it. Don't write for us or our approval. Write for yourself. For the fun of it. If nobody comments or predicts, don't get disheartened. My first diary I had nobody for weeks. Then like, one or two for a few months. I've had 25 consistently in a previous diary too. But even 25 is not many people!! Nowadays I get between 8 and 15, and I've been doing this a long time. What I'm saying there is, don't worry about how many people comment or give you feedback. We're all reading/lurking. Especially since we're all sat at home and not at work All in all, good luck! I'll be looking forward to seeing how you get the Title off Goldberg and Brock.
  13. So great to have this back man! Love how Vampiro is kind of your 'Fiend' in a way... Mixed with AJ Lee...

  15. I said I was going to speed up the posting a little... I really want to see how the Royal Rumble looks on here as it was mega fun to write. Elimination Chamber is in the bag too, and the following night's RAW is done. Just doing NXT week 4 of February, now. So I'm currently writing 5 weeks ahead of where you guys are JANUARY 2020, WEEK 3… Show Rating: 78 Announce Team: Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGuinness and Beth Phoenix <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #6c6600; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Response We opened the show with 'The Boss' Sasha Banks, sat in a make-up chair, with hair and make-up artists being told to stay at a distance for a minute... Sssha Banks: “Becky Lynch... The gorgeous, and talented, Becky Lynch... I knew you were gorgeous and talented, but I thought you were smarter than that... Charlotte Flair will NOT show up and sit with you at ringside to watch the Women's Royal Rumble Match... She's too busy with Shayna Baszler... and Bayley... Will do better in the Match than you think she will... In fact... I hope she WINS the thing, and goes to WrestleMania to fight you!!” Sasha said she'd sit alongside Becky at the Rumble... But they are NOT friends... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #6c6600; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> 'The Bulgarian Brute' Rusev [vs] 'The Drifter' Elias Rusev victimised Elias in an angry assault on 'The Drifter'. Both men are new to NXT, and although it's a different show, beating someone up like this translates pretty well. Rusev made Elias tap in the end to his 'Accolade'. 72 Winner: 'The Bulgarian Brute' Rusev Finish: 'Accolade' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #6c6600; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Bulgarian Brutalised Straight after the match, Lana brought her new man Bobby Lashley out to the ring, and he slid in and attacked Rusev... Lashley grabbed Rusev by his beard, and threw him over his head with a belly-to-belly release suplex... Lashley then called for hardware, and Lana slid a chair into the ring... Lashley just started slamming the chair onto Rusev's large back!! He then sat on Rusev's spine, and wrenched back for his own version of the 'Accolade'...!! Rusev tapped as more referees arrived to end things... Lana: “Rrrruuuusev... At the Royal Rumble... Apollo Crews: “We're gonna be taking on 'Technique'... Cezar Bononi and Arturo Ruas are a dangerous duo... Maybe you should be making a Presentation... Sorry, Powerpoint Presentation... on how to beat them...” Gulak said he'd get right on it... and he took his laptop back as Crews began stretching his triceps... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #6c6600; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> 'The Premiere Athlete' Tony Nese [vs] 'The Archer of Infamy' Damian Priest Tony Nese was very competitive in this match, and he used his power to subdue Priest. They'll be mixing it up with The Forgotten Sons, One Two, Technique, Gulak and Crews, Breezango, among others... But a mouthwatering feud with The Undisputed Era is what the fans will want!! </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #6c6600; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Every Bro For Himself Backstage, Matt Riddle and Keith Lee were watching the live action, and they were excited about the Hardyz arriving on NXT!! Matt Riddle: “BROOOOoooo!! The Hardy Boyz coming to NXT!! Me and you teamed up last week bro, and we didn't exactly gel well... If we want to fight guys like Matt and Jeff, and help each other in the Royal Rumble, we need to work on that...” Lee stopped Riddle from finishing his thought, and explained that they are NOT a tag team... Keith Lee: “Listen... Matt... I like you, and I respect you, and we are friends... but we are NOT a tag team... and at the Royal Rumble... It's every MAN... and every BRO... for himself!! I hope we understand each other...??” Riddle looked shocked and disappointed... but he respected Lee's comments... Sonya DeVille looked reluctant to be out at ringside, but she was the difference in the end, distracting Catanzaro, and allowing Aliyah to hit her finisher! 54 Winners: Aliyah & Vanessa Borne w/ Sonya DeVille Finish: 'Arabian Night' (Half Nelson Bulldog) </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #6c6600; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Women's Tag Team Titles Following their win tonight, Vanessa Borne and Aliyah will take on Kayden Carter and Ember Moon, here on NXT!! Thinking about the past, and the future... Montez Ford: “My BROTHER... Angelo Dawkins... Is gone... He's out... Injured... And I miss him greatly... Last week, I somehow won that Battle Royale, and now I get to choose a partner for an NXT Tag Team Title shot... Dawk would be an EASY pick...!!” Ford paced again... He was clearly stumped here, and didn't seem to have a definite person in mind... He then said that next week, he'd reveal his choice... When Mike Kanellis walked up... Kanellis said that Ford should pick him... But Ford said no... and that Kanellis wasn't in his thoughts... Kanellis reacted by calling Ford a PUNK!! He said that he hopes Dawkins' injury keeps him out FOREVER!! Montez Ford: “Yu know what Mike... You weren't in my thoughts but you are now... So next week, I'll beat your sorry ass, and THEN reveal my choice for my partner!!” </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #6c6600; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> 'The Extraordinary Man' Finn Balor [vs] 'The King of the 619' Rey Mysterio Balor and Mysterio are exceptional talents who know exactly what they're doing in the ring. Both very experienced and both very athletic, this was a classic exhibition of all of their talents. Rey got the crowd into it well, and hit an early '619', but Balor still had the wherewithal to roll out of the ring and create some separation. Rey was in control from that point onwards really, with Balor only able to deliver some counter attacks to stay in the fight. In the end though, '1916' followed by a brilliantly timed 'Sling Blade' gave the Irishman the momentum he needed. He headed up to the top rope, and hit the 'Coupe de Grace' to pick up a huge win, and earn another shot at Adam Cole for the NXT Title. 76 Winner: 'The Extraordinary Man' Finn Balor Finish: 'Coupe de Grace' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #6c6600; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Extraordinary Bay Bay After the match, Finn Balor was handed a microphone, and thanked Rey Mysterio for the match out of respect... 16. Yeah it's worrying times. Our Government have been amazing and sorted it so we get 80% wages from them, and the other 20% from our employer. But my basic wage is around 50% of my income, with bonuses and commission etc. So I think I'll be running on around 50% wages for now. We're able to take a mortgage holiday for three months, so that should help too. Ah I'm glad it does brother. A lot of diaries doing that for me right now too. I feel like I've chosen a good hobby that can bring some joy in these strange and dark times. Shoot! I meant 'joint' most loyal! I bet. We've all just got to do what we can and stay as safe as possible. We will come out the other side of it. In a few weeks, or a few months. We will recover. But it's just so hard at the moment, and it will probably be a long time before everything's back to 'normal'. Look after your 4. My 1 is hard enough!

JANUARY 2020, WEEK 3… Show Rating: 78 Announce Team: Vic Joseph, Jerry Lawler and Dio Maddin <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Aleister Black & Tommaso Ciampa [vs] The Revival We kicked off the action in the ring, with a fascinating tag team contest. The Revival are an established duo here on Monday nights, but they couldn't handle the passion shown by Black and Ciampa, or the force of their offence. In the end, Dawson was knocked out by a 'Black Mass'. 72 Winners: Aleister Black & Tommaso Ciampa Finish: 'Black Mass' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Help Not Required Aleister Black and Tommaso Ciampa are IN the Men's Royal Rumble... Can they trust each other...? We cut backstage next, to where Erik, Ivar and Logan (The Viking Raiders) bumped into King Corbin... Erik and Ivar told Corbin that they didn't NEED his help last week... Nor did they WANT it... King Corbin: “Listen... Boys... I agree you didn't NEED my help last week... But... If you can change your minds... open your minds... and WANT my help... I can make you RAW... Tag... Team... Champs, in no time!!” Erik and Ivar didn't look impressed, and Logan told her boys to leave the scene... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> EC3 Ready!! Backstage, EC3 was warming up in an unusual way... He was holding onto a rope, with both hands, and doing squats... Titus O'Neil walked up, and asked EC3 what he was trying to do... EC3: “Well Titus... I've been studying tape of previous Royal Rumble Matches... and I've decided that winners of Rumbles are good at holding onto the top rope... So I'm getting my hands used to holding ropes... Trying to build up a callous...” O'Neil said he could give EC3 a few pointers of what NOT to do in a Royal Rumble, if he wants... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Swerve Scott [vs] 'The Carolina Caveman' Cameron Grimes Great contest here, with two very athletic competitors. Grimes is dirty and nasty when he wants to be, and that gave him an edge in this one, ending it with his vicious 'Cave In' that left Scott needing to be helped from the ring. 58 Winner: 'The Carolina Caveman' Cameron Grimes Finish: 'Cave In' (Leaping Double Foot Stomp) </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> The Man Of Many Friends RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch was backstage next... facing the camera and talking about the Royal Rumble pay-per-view... She said that she's really looking forward to sitting with her 'friend' Sasha Banks and watching the Women's Royal Rumble Match... Becky Lynch: “I heard ya invoite Sasha... an' OI'd be deloighted ta sit wit' ya... Two proud Champions... casting our eye over our Queendoms... Bo' OI wonder if 'The Queen' herself Charlotte will join us... Perhaps then we can get the band back together, and watch our other 'friend' Bayley... get ELIMINATED from the Rumble...!!” When Becky talked about her friendship with Sasha and Bayley there was a lot of sarcasm in her voice... Bayley will be in action tonight against Carmella, as she looks to gain some momentum ahead of her performance in the Women's Royal Rumble Match... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> The Kingdom Backstage, Kofi Kingston was stopped in his tracks by King Corbin, who wanted to share his thoughts with the New Day member... Corbin praised Kofi, and told him he was a GREAT WWE Champion, who didn't deserve his reign to end so suddenly and so emphatically... King Corbin: “Most guys in your position would just give up, man... They'd go home... Take a few months off... and regroup... but you're out there, fighting, every, single, week... Listen... I respect you... and I think I can help you... I'm building a 'Kingdom', and I want you in it... If you accept... I will help you win the Royal Rumble... and beat Brock Lesnar to win your Title back...” Kofi looked like he was genuinely giving Corbin's offer some thought as we cut away... It's been a rough couple of months for him, but surely joining Corbin's 'Kingdom' is a step too far... Brock Lesnar and the WWE Title currently reside on Smackdown, so Kofi would have to jump ship after Corbin helped him win the Rumble to get the match he wants... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross [vs] The Kabuki Warriors Bliss and Cross continue to build their experience and chemistry as a tag team, but they were up against an extremely cohesive unit in The Kabuki Warriors. Asuka made Cross tap out in the end. 67 Winners: The Kabuki Warriors Finish: 'Asuka Lock' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Ryding A Wave Of Good Fortune Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins were backstage next... With a huge match coming up in two weeks at the Royal Rumble... The RAW Tag Team Champions know their form hasn't been great of late, and they've had a lot of luck... Curt Hawkins: “And up against The New Day and The OC, we know we're gonna need more than luck... We have a 'Tune Up' match next week... So we'll see if we can get some much needed momentum...” Ryder added that hopefully New Day and The OC continue to take each other out, so they can have weakened opponents... Their match next week is scheduled to be against two singles competitors from the Cruiserweight Division: Joaquin Wilde and Ariya Daivari... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Lio Rush & Jack Gallagher [vs] Shelton Benjamin & Shane Thorne Fascinating encounter here. Rush and Gallagher gelled well, and showed their unique offences, but Shelton and Thorne have matching levels of athleticism, to match their strength, and they overwhelmed the fan favourites in the end. 70 Winners: Shelton Benjamin & Shane Thorne Finish: 'Pay Dirt' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Mexican Heritage Backstage, Zelina Vega was stood with her client, Andrade... Zelina called Andrade the 'Greatest Mexican Wrestler in the History of the WWE'... A bold claim from the young manager!! They were soon interrupted by Humberto Carrillo and his friend Dakota Kai... who reminded them of greats like Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero... Dakota Kai: “And my good friend Humberto here is beginning to carve out his own career... As a young... talented Mexican competitor... Someone who thinks Andrade is also talented... but it's very arrogant of you to claim he's the greatest of all time...” Kai challenged Andrade to a match next week, on Humberto's behalf... Andrade and Vega stormed off... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Kofi King-Dom? Backstage, Big E and Xavier Woods turned a corner, and were met with AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows... E and Woods got ready for a fight, but The OC told The New Day that they had no intentions of starting anything right now... AJ Styles: “Listen boys... There's no doubt we could whip your guys asses right now... 3 on 2... BOOM!! But what would it achieve...?! We actually came here... because we think you need to have a word with your boy, Kofi...” AJ said that Gallows had overheard a conversation between Kofi and King Corbin... in which Corbin offered to help Kofi win the Royal Rumble Match... Luke Gallows: “And boys... As much as I hate to say it... Kofi did NOT say 'No!'...” Big E and Woods were left seething as AJ Styles and co. smirked and walked away... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> w/ 'The Princess of Staten Island' Carmella [vs] 'The Hugger' Bayley w/ Buddy Murphy Carmella was in control of this one, until behind the referee's back, the dangerous Buddy Murphy threatened to hit her! She cowered, and then got angry, and it allowed Bayley the time to regroup and hit her 'Bayley To Belly' Suplex. 64 Winner: 'The Hugger' Bayley w/ Buddy Murphy Finish: 'Bayley To Belly' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> The 'Prince' To My 'King' Up next, King Corbin was once again found on the 'recruitment drive', attempting to enlist the help of 'Prince' Ali to his cause... Corbin said that every great leader should identify his successor, and help groom him or her for future glory... King Corbin: “For my 'Kingdom' to be complete... I need a 'Prince', who I can help enough to one day take the Throne, and wear the crown... and I have chosen YOU Ali... To be that Prince...” Corbin outstretched a hand, as if Ali would just accept straight away... but the fan favourite scoffed at the suggestion of joining Corbin... Instead he walked off out of sight, leaving Corbin looking disappointed, rather than angry at the disrespect shown... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #ffffff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> 'The Monster Among Men' Braun Strowman [vs] 'The Underdog' Sami Zayn Sami Zayn is back on Raw, and back competing in the ring, but he'll wish he wasn't either of those things after this match. To be fair, he won't remember much of it, because Strowman had his way with his much smaller opponent. He threw Zayn around the ring with ease, and could have put him away a lot sooner than he did. 77 Winner: 'The Monster Among Men' Braun Strowman Finish: 'Running Power Slam' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #b40a0a; margin:10px;background: #b6b6b6; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Post-Match Assault After the match, Braun Strowman prepared for the inevitable: To be attacked by 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt... But no such attack came... So Strowman asked for a microphone... Braun Strowman: “Come on Bray, I haven't got all night!! Get out here so we can finish this...!!” Bray's signature 'Firefly Funhouse' theme music played, but when the set was revealed, Bray was nowhere to be seen... No Mercy The Buzzard... No Huskus The Pigboy... No Ramblin' Rabbit... Just an empty set... Strowman was confused... as were the announce team and everyone in attendance at the show... Neither 'The Fiend' nor Bray Wyatt showed up... </div> Aleister Black & Tommaso Ciampa [def.] The Revival Cameron Grimes [def.] Swerve Scott The Kabuki Warriors [def.] Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross Shelton Benjamin & Shane Thorne [def.] Lio Rush & Jack Gallagher Bayley [def.] Carmella Braun Strowman [def.] Sami Zayn I mentioned a few weeks ago that a mega group would be coming to RAW... In my opinions Stables have been a criminally underused form of storytelling in the last few years in the WWE... Especially with such a huge roster available across the three brands (plus)... Groups like The Undisputed Era... Imperium... The OC... The New Day... are all awesome, and could all be even better... The group I'm bringing to RAW could eclipse all of them... So far, King Corbin has attempted to build a stable called 'The Kingdom'... and has offered places to The Viking Raiders, Kofi Kingston and Ali... although none accepted them... If those four (or five if you include Logan) joined Corbin, they'd be a tremendous force on Monday Nights... In real life as I write this, Buddy Murphy just joined Seth Rollins and the AOP, and they seem like a pretty cool group... My worry for them is that Buddy will leave the group in a matter of weeks, but I could be wrong here... Real life WWE have used someone better than I have... And in this case, that could be said for all four of them!! Murphy is 'Bayley's Buddy' here, as it was just too good to not do... But a heel understudy to Rollins is a great spot for him. AOP are injured here, and Rollins is off filming a movie, so for now, real life WWE wins on all four...
  20. Love your new Avatar Kijar!! Awesome!! Be safe brother. You're one of my most loyal readers. In fact, probably my most. I'm a car salesman. Not likely to be needed for a little while.
  21. Ahh that's brilliant news! Was hoping this was coming back soon! Already looking forward to Thursday. Day Two in isolation has not been fun so far!
  22. Thanks for the predictions so far. Just to let you know, with my country now in lockdown, I'm likely to be ramping up the pace of posting shows. We have a LOT to get through. I've currently fully written the next 17 shows, which includes the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber pay-per-views. The Rumble I've split over three posts too. If you don't want to miss out on prediction prizes, my advice would be to check back in regularly. Hope you're all safe and well and heeding the advice of your government. I hope this (average) diary gives you some light relief in an otherwise dark time. Lloyd
  23. Just wanted to pop on here and say I'm really enjoying this so far. The layout is exceptional, and some of the characters are really cool. Really liking Apocalypse, and a diary that pushes Riley McManus is a great diary in my books. I've five starred you, and if anyone's reading this comment, I implore you all to check the rest of this diary out. KUTGW.
  24. I wrote that little blurb bit a few weeks ago, but yeah it is odd. I'm behind by a little over a week in real life. Just catching up on Smackdown 13th of March show... No audience...
