  1. Would love to see your go at it! I imagine it would be easier to rush for the hard stuff then pare down the schedule for the easy stuff but w/e. Thanks <3 Im prone to picking heavy challenges I have no way of completing! February 2020 We've instilled a new unofficial rule in WHW. Whenever we notice a worker announcing their retirement, we will offer them 3 month contracts before they call it a day. First up is Acid. We've also got Keita Fukao & Yoko Ikina set to arrive in March for their retirement tour. Per fan MHero's request, we've brought in Ben Williams to the 5 Feat Special deal. He'll get 5 shows with us before we decide to let him go or keep him. Remember anyone can suggest a worker, even if they're currently unavailable, and I will bring them in the moment I get an opportunity for a 5 Feature Special. It can be anyone who wrestles. Love & Wrestling I (47 w/ 80 fans) "The French-Canadian Flyer" Eric LaMonica def. Robin Newman (30) Eve Grunge def. "The Red Queen" Katya Kornishkova (33) Canadian Crusher def. "Son of the Monster" James Diaz (34) Ant-Man def. Dreadnought (41) Commander Kawagishi def. "Hell Cat" Kate Avatar (51) - MOTN!!! Retirement Tour: Acid def. Virgil "The Boss" Voss (31) Undefeated Series: Zachary Inc. def. "The French-Canadian MVP" Marcel LeFleur & Maria Guest (51) - MOTN!!! Undefeated Series: Dagger def. "The Speed King" Clutch McKane (39) A lot of debuts this show. We signed Kawagishi after he quit EX2010 for one reason or another. He's an insane talent and it would be a missed opportunity not to give him a shot. He's already the best guy on the roster. Also, Tamara McFly advised me that Ben Williams is so immensely talented, he elevated Virgil Voss's game. What a legend. Family Day Special I (47 w/ 86 fans) Taylor Kidd def. Canadian Crusher (32) 2 of 5 Feature Special: Jayson "The Sensation" Van Pelt def. "Bump Machine" Ben Williams (48) "The French-Canadian MVP" Marcel LeFleur def. Erin Grey (40) Americana Jr. def. Dagger to win the WHW Undefeated Series (43) Made official this show was the Undefeated Series. Everyone who gets a win on the first show of the year is qualified. Any worker undefeated as of the first show competes against each other in singles competition until there's only one left. Zachary Inc wins the first one this year beating Dagger in the headlining finals. Nothing much else to note. Every 3rd month, we only have one event so only one March show. 996 shows left Suggest a wrestler for me to sign! I would love to have a lengthy list that I can cycle through over the next 20 years till everyone hangs up their boots.

Alas, they don't have the stamina requisite for their position in the roster so the fans are perpetually disappointed the match isn't precisely 20 minutes or longer. It is what it is. We'll either get their stamina to where it should be or grow enough that they're no longer outshining the company so drastically. </p><p> </p><p> I'll have to give myself a new name. I booked myself with the intent on being used every show but I immediately forgot about this goal on the 2nd show. </p><p> </p><p> Road Agent Grant Truman was dragging most of the matches he was involved with down. He works this next event but we let him go afterwards and brought in Sky King to do double duty till he hangs the boots up. </p><p> </p><p> Oh yeah, Grey & I didn't have chemistry.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Encore I (44 w/ 77 fans)</strong></p><p> Eve Grunge def. A few more debuts with Firth, Renoir & Voss who didn't make the cut on the first show.</p><p> </p><p> We also brought in Dreadnought, Logan Wolfsbaine & James Diaz. They'll be popping up on the next show. Beyond that, we'll wait till we have a better handle on our finances before we start actively looking for studs. Since we're running a light schedule, I don't mind grabbing as many show stealers as we can before they get old & keel over.</p><p> </p><p> Oh, Americana Jr also botched and gave Dagger a Bruised Pectoral Muscle. Dagger will be fine. Both of their egos will need to be soothed... which time will do. Not me.</p><p> </p><p> EDIT: While I'm at it, if ever there's someone you want to see here, let me know. I'll make a list and give out 3 appearance contracts. If I like them enough, they can stay. This can be anyone. I'll sign them whenever the opportunity pops up.</p>
  3. In a meaningless world, we are free to create our own meanings, and so I've decided to make it my life's mission to obtain every achievement possible in the TEW trophy screen in one playthrough. Because I need purpose. This thread will be rather straightforward and simple, inspired by infinitywpi's breezy to read CZCW diary. I'll be playing with everything on except crowd burn out/crowd management. In case you need a reminder, here are the achievements: My strategy is pretty simple. I'm going to aim for the bigger/predictable stuff first: - Complete Fifty Years - Hold Ten Thousand Matches - Hold One Thousand Events Evidently the math is easy, 10 matches per event, 20 events per year, 50 years. Once we hit fifty years, we can just systematically tackle the rest. Anyways, here's to me failing. I'll post a screenshot of how close we are after every year.
  4. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="christmas_ape" data-cite="christmas_ape" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="50930" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>It's a tough one though as whilst I agree with your general point (the idea of a long rated menace angle is a bit odd, and you're probably right that it essentially never happens in the way that you've said it) I'm not sure I'd agree with that saying any words automatically means it shouldn't be rated on menace. <p> </p><p> Admittedly I'm not going to look for an example but imagine an Evolution angle, where Triple H does most the talking, maybe Ric Flair and Orton talk, whilst Batista essentially stands there looking menacing. I'd say even if Batista were to grab the mic briefly I'd still want to say his performance in the angle is based at the very least 50% on how menacing he looks. </p><p> </p><p> What I would say is if you had an angle that is rated solely on menace, like just one dude doing something menacing but not fighting or talking, then sure there should be a max amount of time that can be without heavy penalties. But I think as long as there's other workers being rated on other stuff, then I don't see why someone can't be rated on menace in long angles without that being an exploit.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> In the situation you described, I think it's quite fine to have Batista graded on Menace. He's not really carrying the angle in this scenario compared to the three other guys. People arent going to remember how Batista stood there menacingly. When you watch the Brian Cage segments or the Jack Swagger segments in AEW where they stand there looking intimidating, you remember the stuff Tazz was saying or the rest of IC or his opponents were saying. Maybe the game should just be smart enough to emphasize the people entertaining in the seg more than the guys standing looking intimidating. That or you should just be able to designate Major members of the segment & minor members. </p><p> </p><p> I think the argument here is more so about Menace-only segments though. </p><p> </p><p> I will say however, I would prefer it if Charisma/Sex Appeal/Menace was interchangeable in the "Entertainment" category & much like in the ring whichever is your best top row is used, in an angle, whichever is your best feature is used. </p><p> </p><p> I should make it clear Im not happy with how the angle system works personally but I dont think theres an issue with 10 minute menace angles not scoring well if theres no one else in the angle.</p>
  5. Any argument that treats WWE as the monolith of wrestling doesnt really check out for me. You said it yourself, it wouldnt work for PWG (and it wouldnt work for many many many other companies). There's only one company like WWE in the world so in theory they arent the norm and should not be used as a baseline for how crowds react. Most companies are theoretically supported by die hards, not casuals, so it makes little sense to put more emphasis on casuals. Furthermore, I think this year has proven that grades can no longer be emphatically tied to just the in-person audience. We've seen ample amounts of shows with no fans and while this isnt the norm or how wrestling should be forever, it still proves that wrestling cant be so intrically tied to how the people in attendance feel in terms of how a match/angle is received. You dont need match aims on B-shows. Ive booked a bunch of them and NEVER EVER use match aims. No penalties ever.
  6. Can you link a few IRL examples of 10 minute menace angles? Keeping in mind that menace is defined as "how menacing the worker looks" by the game. The moment Undertaker grabs a mic, he's no longer being judged on menace. So these segments should be 10 minutes of a wrestler solely looking intimidating.
  7. Heat/Velocity maybe but 205 Live had a lot of high highs that many praised & if two guys put on a great match on the B-show, no one is going to be bitching about that. If Masked Cougar & Ernest Youngman are unimportant but drop a B (70+) quality match, its stupid that its completely nerfed because no one knows them. If any of you guys watch a good match and start bitching about it because you dont know the guys, wtf is wrong with you lmfao. The guys I've fallen in love with are the ones I didnt know who shocked me with a great match. If your argument is that its a B-show & it doesnt effect your pop then it cuts both ways, why add needless penalties to something that doesn't effect company pop? I dont mind most penalties. The unimportant worker penalty is an absolutely mindless penalty. The game already punishes you for having unimportant workers in the appropriate products. It doesnt matter how good Cougar/Youngman are, in a 30/70 ratio company, they arent going to do anything so why add this extra penalty that is unrealistic & makes no sense? In a wrestling focused company, the fact that two guys are unimportant would mean nothing. Heck, even in the WWE, if you tossed Lee & Dijak in a match and had them do what they do in PWG, people would be absolutely stunned. They wouldnt be mad two no name guys are doing it.
  8. Giving GSW a try. Turned off all their events and started a show called GSW Warehouse!, so we're basically like RAW. No real intent to grow or get huge. We've got a Ruthless Aggression product (I'd liken it more to a Lucha Underground but Grimm SoCal style) now with Ensemble/Consistent Focus to make it more challenging. I'm running extremely angle heavy shows. I'd mostly like to see how well wrestlers will develop mic skills & pop wise long term. I did keep the King of California event. It's going to be my "season finale" and feature an Aztec Warfare style main event with other gimmick matches. I want to make liberal use of gimmick matches & cinematic matches in general. I do have a wish of eventually getting my hands on Remo or Swoop but who knows what the odds of that are when Im running only an A show & 1 event a year. I'd also love Scythe/Hellion/Son of Vengeance too. Signed Sozen Ishinomori, DeAnna Desire, K.P. Avatar, Garry the Entertainer, D-Pod, & Juliet Balconi, all people who can talk. Sozen is paired up with Top Dolla and they'll be gangsters of the Balconi Mafia. DeAnna will manage my UC Axl Avatar. K.P. Avatar is paired up with Fro Sure and they'll expand into a bigger stable. Garry the Entertainer isn't doing anything yet. D-Pod may be on interview duty to help everyone get good. Fro Sure is easily the best guy on the roster but I dont feel obligated to push him to the title since its an ensemble/consistent focus and he can get grades anywhere on the show.
  9. I strictly meant angles lol. Staying under 5 minutes wont really help the guys grow as much & develop their entertainment skills which is more the intent. Where Angels Fear to Tread is in the books. The Bodyguard here is Gargantuan & hes mostly working as Bach's bodyguard. Im currently building up The Bantom Beast so I dont have time to give Gargantuan endless squashes to give him a push. Danny had also promised to put over Thomas. This wasnt a match I shouldve held given the disparity in their pops but I knew I wasnt going to use Danny & Dazzling as anything more than bodies in Freddy's stable while Thomas & Bodyguard have more of a future. Black in Business is D-Pod & T-Bone. I brought in D-Pod because I wanted better T-Bone segments & they had excellent managerial chemistry + excellent tag team chemistry which is perfect. Initially I was going to have Mo & Bright win the tag titles, but Ill have Mo focus on singles competition & Pod/Bright will capture the tag titles. Not sure if at Mayhem, I want to give New Wave their record 7th reign so might have Shark & Titan pass it on to them instead. Remus beat Arsenal & will be officially becoming the deputy of the Cult of Bach after having gone through everyone else in the stable (Arsenal was just a Bach picked opponent though). Behemoths retained tag titles & this also featured Foxx & Benny's official last time teaming up. BLZ Bubb made his singles return to TCW (he is way over TD) beating Bantom in a tight brawl. Im trying to get Bantom quickly up the card but its not a very easy feat. The signing wasnt intentional but I dont want to slowly push up a 33 year old monster. I am leaning on Bantom/Bubb vs. Booth/Peak for Mayhem but I might want Mo to go over Bubb instead. It would be impromptu but Mo is one big win from being a main eventer and has been chained to a mediocre storyline from game start. Serious Stone & Taylor get one over Huggins & Hocking finally. Huggins is already a headliner quality guy tbh so I was hesitant even letting him lose this but gotta give Stone/Taylor their wins. Im still not sure if I want Huggins to go after the tag division or challenge the main event. Hell, if I had a second brand he'd be good enough to headline for sure. Stardust & Wolf was just keeping the two busy. Wolf is basically on autopilot till the Syndicate blows up and he joins Hawkins' pack. The New Wave take a tough loss but theyve got their big final moment coming soon. Bach & Chord face off in their second singles match so far. Bach wins with the help of The Bodyguard. I wanted to give Chord the win but since Im planning to give Bach his LONG AWAITED moment, I have to build him out of his underperformances into a credible headliner. Ace faced Gauge in a special challenge match. Hawkins chose his opponent while Ace chose Hawkins' opponent. Hawkins went to a time limit draw with Gauge that same week where Gauge retained the TV title. Gauge is a main event guy in all but name, on paper he still is clearly under them but skill wise & pop wise hes basically at their level. I dont have any intention of giving him a world title for another year at least & he still has his TV title program occupying him so I can waste these big match-ups pretty freely. Hawkins beat Lover in Lover's singles return. Lover is in TD but he has slightly more pop. I am planning on a Once in a Lifetime match with Ace so this was a good test for a headlining Lover. Total Mayhem is next & im pretty excited for it. I am really tempted to open a second brand but I dont want to do it until Bach has had his time at the top of the company so it may not happen till Mayhem 2021. I also brought in Hurakan from EILL since I saw a future sim where he was insane. I've got a manager for him so hopefully they have chem. Im not rushing his build up. Pretty Okakura was also brought in because he quit EX2010. He just needs to get the hang of the language. Finally, I signed PRIDE Koiso who will be renamed to TOTAL Koiso. He's great on the mic so I will be using him as a road agent before transitioning him into a manager when he is comfortable with the language. I picture him as being our Tazz.
  10. Curious question: how would you guys book Sinner Society in angles? I know best grade possible route is give Eddie Peak ent & leave the rest on nothing but I'd also like to be developing Shark/Titan/Booth and the Peak segments arent such a focus of the show that I need great grades with it. So would you guys have Shark/Titan on Menace and Booth on ent? How would you go about it? Not in a gamey way but in a realistic way.
  11. <p>Decided to give SWF a try. I switched over to Ruthless Aggression through the editor. Dont usually do it but SWF has lacked interest for me because I dont like the boring product. It was this or AE & I dont want to do Sex Appeal so I went with RA. I also took off alignments because I like mixing everyone AEW style. I just keep it in mind mentally and see it as a spectrum. </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="4981d05549f6f5c114bd4dbf6410cd46.png" data-src="https://i.gyazo.com/4981d05549f6f5c114bd4dbf6410cd46.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> This was my first Supreme show to illustrate what Im going for. Insanely angle heavy with barely any wrestling lol. My two top matches got dinged for bad chemistry notes but it didnt matter in the end because of the ratio.</p><p> </p><p> I tried to get as many people as possible into the show but couldnt with how big the roster is. Obviously going to have start up Uprising sooner than later.</p><p> </p><p> I'm not really restricting myself too much with this game. So we're going to be doing a lot of gimmick & cinematic matches. </p><p> </p><p> My goal is to get Hellion, Son of Vengeance & Scythe to headline a Supreme Challenge main event & deliver a great match. I also intend on adding Aldous Blackfriar to this three man match to make it a four way match. </p><p> </p><p> I imagine I shouldnt struggle too much with this game & itll be a fun one to dip into now & then.</p>
  12. Pretty stacked tag league. I remember really digging Pavel with BCG either in 13 or 16 so I hope he's able to find a good footing with your WCG and break away from the pack. Kato vs. Okamoto & Torii vs. Gauge are also great match-ups. It would be interesting if Okamoto lost his third encounter with Kato. Love Torii but not sure if Gauge will be getting his come uppance as champ just yet either.
  13. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="lr10540" data-cite="lr10540" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47616" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I'm not worried about the individual match ratings as I run a Three Ring Circus match focus. I'm more working about him dinging the show grade for being on TV when fans don't care about him. I'm also concerned about him dinging the show grade from facing young guys who the fans also don't care about, thus 2 jobbers in the fan's eyes on TV. I don't like running pre show matches as they don't gain pop to ever get away from the pre show without being on TV.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Oh fair. I always make sure I have a non-unimportant wrestler and that the match isnt longer than 10 minutes. I dont think thats too hard given the starting roster only has like Yuri & Nick as unimportant. Like my screenshot shows, I tend to have him paired up with the younger guys & the younger guy takes the pin. </p><p> </p><p> Rule of thumb is if you give your unimportant wrestlers 10 minutes of screen time max you should be fine. No real reason for Dean to be on your show for more than 10 minutes anyways. </p><p> </p><p> I dont do preshow matches for pop. Like others have said, I do it for momentum reasons & to give people something to do on the show, particularly if they dont have much. Guys like Marc Speed (mostly because of low morale but also because I dont have big plans for him) & Maverick among others are guys Id use in the pre-show against my dev guys who need to develop. </p><p> </p><p> Tbh, I dont even book my A-shows to go for pop. Im only concerned about pop for the PPVs since those are when the big changes happen. I find most workers tend to grow organically on the TV shows anyways so I focus more on the storylines then I do pop gains/losses.</p>
  14. v I do what Codey used to do. I have a list of all my development guys & I keep track of their best performances. I make sure to always use the worst guys in my dev. I had 12 grads from the school so they're all extremely raw & working on one per month indy shows so I want to give them chances to wrestle a bit more. When I start encountering workers trying to go up early, maybe I will reevaluate my plan but its not something Im real concerned about at the moment. I just like developping them. I take most of my inspiration for Saturday Night Showcase from AEW Dark. I think it's a recipe for a good B-show. I have anyone that needs to be kept strong on my roster italicized in my notes so I just go through my roster from Unimportant to Well Known and give anyone italicized who has zero fatigue a good win. I obviously make sure Yuri/Dean/Nick get a match here too. Sammy Bach's contract is expiring. He's an amazing talker & gaining pop without trying but hes just not main event level. USPW & SWF are coming in for him. I'll probably have to give him a ridiculously long contract to keep him. Not in TD yet. Current plans are for him to main event Total Mayhem 2021 and finally win the big one. But I just wouldnt mind him leaving for USPW. I love that he can promo great & gains pop easy but hmm. Im offering him about 130K with 40% merch, 20% event bonus & 6 years. Thats a lot for a man his age but I guess Im rewarding his loyalty or something? He'll easily transition into a managerial role though and a tag team with Remus is feasible too plus we're making a ton of money so why not.
  15. This is how I've used him 3 months in. Initially I had him as part of the Mighty Meaty vs. Sinner Society feud w/ Yuri Yoshihara as the weak links. After that he transitioned into full jobber role. W/ Saturday Night Showcase, giving him a match against people Im trying to keep strong/give wins to is easy. At Battleground I gave him a mini story of being the team captain for rookies against Tornado & some rookies. I dont have any plans for him for the next two PPVs so he will likely be on the pre-show if he makes the PPV at all. The grades obviously vary between 40s to 60s in the matches he tends to be involved in but Im not exactly putting Daniels in matches that will have a big effect on the final grade so his pop is mostly irrelevant.
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Jaysin" data-cite="Jaysin" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47616" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Oh man. There goes my hope of booking the youngest world champ in TCW history. Ain't no way I'm strapping a rocket to a 20 year old and ruining their personality.<p> </p><p> Thanks guys!</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Tommy Cornell Jr. debuts at 18 years old <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  17. Oh no Freddy! Yeah I think Hawkins would be my worst guy to lose since he's just been gaining pop through awesome angles without me actively giving him any major wins. Dude's a stud!
  18. I wish I had as much bad luck as you do. Nate Johnson and Darryl Devine got injured before a PPV and I just swapped them out for dev guys cuz it was an opener. Losing three main event quality guys would've been a real shakeup. What did Freddy do? He better not be in rehab for soft drugs
  19. Did you end up running a Total Mayhem match? Yeah Chord & Gauge are basically destined for a Total Mayhem main event. Impressed that Taylor/Chrod actually out did Hawkins & Ace though. Hawkins is insane and Ace can usually hold his own as well as Chord can.
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="jean-vic" data-cite="jean-vic" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47616" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Thank you.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Sorry I meant D-Pod as an interview.</p>

Matt Hocking is such a statistcal all arounder, not great at any one thing, that the best I can see him being is a Cody, without the family legacy and less mic skills.<p> </p><p> I'm trying to remove the block and think where I could see me putting him and BEST CASE scenario would be slotting him in in a Christian Cage in TNA role. Maybe even having him play that Stevie Richards in Right To Censor role as a Weasel stable leader.</p><p> </p><p> I think he's still like 5 years away from being great though.</p><p> </p><p> With Flynn I get Davey Boy Smith Jr vibes. The problem is he's not great in the ring. I kind of just want him to get snatched up by USPW where he would be a better fit.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I find Flynn to be pretty solid in the ring. Thinking about how hes getting low 60s for me to start and imagining how much better he might do if he was in the upper Well Known tier or a star. He can do 20 minute matches now so Im sticking him close to Wolf Hawkins and hoping he can learn a thing or two and gain some of that pop. Now the new issue is if hes teaming with Hawkins in a 20 min main event, he cant really appear in segments lol. </p><p> </p><p> Matt Hocking just had his mini big angle in mine, betrayed his team at Battleground to help Freddy. Still not a major role for him yet but at least he'll be able to get wins with Freddy. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="jean-vic" data-cite="jean-vic" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47616" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Never really bothered with the Cverse but wanted to have a proper go (my last attempt with CWW got boring) with a company I've always felt drawn to. <p> </p><p> First thing I've noticed is the average age of the roster. I've gone out and signed some younger guys in the hope of rebuilding. Trusted the Hidden Gems section and signed Fro Sure and Ernest Youngman. Also signed Blackfriar. Not sure whether any of them will work out, but liked the look of their stats. Also want to get a backstage interviewer and maybe an authority figure. Any suggestions for young talent/personalities, or better to discover it solo?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Ernest Youngman is basically the most OP (male wrestler) signing in the game. </p><p> </p><p> Suggest D-Pod for an authority figure and I think Ricky Dale Johnson, Bryan Vessey, Jack Bruce could all make interesting authority figures. </p><p> </p><p> --</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="e35fc6b88174a737192f007f68ef14ea.png" data-src="https://i.gyazo.com/e35fc6b88174a737192f007f68ef14ea.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Just got through Battleground and I think this may have been my most successful show yet.</p><p> </p><p> The opener was a Captain Tornado vs. Captain Daniels style match with the best 6 guys in development. </p><p> </p><p> The team of Eddie Chandler, Marc Speed, Seth Whitehead & Yuri Yoshihara is a makeshift Syndicate team. Long long story. Originally it was going to be Eddie Chandler, Nate Johnson, Marc Speed & Chris Flynn. Then I found out Bruce wouldn't wrestle for me so Chris Flynn moved on up to the main event. Then a day before the show Nate Johnson broke his arm. So my idea is that the Syndicate just forced roster punching bag Yuri and convinced developmental worker Seth Whitehead to take the spot. Their opponents are four guys who oppose the Syndicate but mostly have nothing better to do.</p><p> </p><p> Matt Hocking betrayed his team after weeks of building up his relationship with Laura and helped Freddy Huggins win. He'll now be second in command of the stable. I like the idea of them teaming up for the tag titles too. I will be reevaluating my Total Mayhem card but Huggins is currently booked to face Joshua Taylor there and win.</p><p> </p><p> Team Mighty Meaty beat Sinner Society with Mo & Bright being the sole survivor. They're both bigger than this. Caulfield was just a toss in that fit with Peak, and Tana the Mighty has signed with USPW so hes on his way out. </p><p> </p><p> Masked Cougar was insane in the Team Bach vs. Team Chord match but also that match had to be limited to ten minutes because he's unimportant lol. Bach's contract is expiring and I will do my best to bring him back but I wont be real mad if he leaves. He's not great.</p><p> </p><p> So I took a risk with TD New Wave & inexperienced Chris Flynn teaming up with Wolf. Lover is also on TD, Running Wolf & Stardust lost a bit of pop from their old companies jobbing them out. All in all it was still a great main event and Wolf Hawkins delivered as always. I really want to just give him the world title but he has to lose the Syndicate first. </p><p> </p><p> We have officially changed to Wrestling Nerd Nirvana, I'll be interested in seeing how that changes things up for us grade wise. They arent too far apart from the default product so Im not expecting too much. </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="f3b81f40fddc76f22322004c363090cd.png" data-src="https://i.gyazo.com/f3b81f40fddc76f22322004c363090cd.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> First battle worked out for us. Its combined. Unfair since we have Bruce & Lover but USPW didnt help themselves by letting Frehley go to SWF and Baine go to me. </p><p> </p><p> I've also signed Gargantuan & Bantom so that'll be fun.</p><p> </p><p> D-Pod was brought in to eventually manage but for now Im going to be using him in a segment called D-Pod Doc where he does a 10 minute deep dive on a top worker. Mostly use it on Saturday Night Showcase which is my AEW Dark.</p><p> </p><p> I'm really excited for Where Angels Fear to Tread, going to make a stacked card for the event before Total Mayhem including Bach & Chord meeting again.</p>
  22. Honestly, considering how bad Im mistreating my tag division, and how full the world title scene is right now, I think you have the right idea in just making Huggins & Hocking the kings of tag team wrestling. May steal this one post-Mayhem!
  23. Haha. I haven't given Flynn or Hocking pushes yet but Flynn was doing well enough with like no pop that it's clear he'll be an easy #2 in the syndicate once he starts getting those wins. I wanted to use him in bigger matches but he can't go twenty minutes without the game saying the show isnt as good because he got used too much. When Wolf abolishes the Syndicate I intend on having him join Hawkins "Wolf Pack" which is a play on the misconception about alpha wolves and that stuff. Hawkins needs equals to reach his peak not servants and betas. Matt Hocking will eventually become the #2 in Freddy Huggins stable. Atm he's been involved in a storyline with Taylor/Huggins/Stone. I'm still just at battleground and Im not desperate to push anyone. So they're just guys I'm seeing perform well in their small roles and feel confident I can give bigger roles too. I understand why you can't get hooked on Flynn and Hocking though. I think you need to see guys like that as a blank canvas. Cody was once Stardust, you know? Flynn doesn't have to be a jock and Hocking doesn't have to just be a pretty boy. Have there been irl gimmicks and characters you liked that you'd love to book, try slotting that on those guys. Just gotta reimagine them. How many widely different things have Mick Foley or Bray Wyatt tried? Just don't limit yourself by what the game tells you these guys are. You're the booker, they are who you want them to be. If theyre boring average joes then it's partially because you look at them that way. Their job ends at being talented imo, then your job begins at booking them where their talents can shine.
  24. Why is it not good? It's not RAW tier obviously which is basically perfect from the get go. But it's definitely great and there isnt a roster in the game I'd rather have and play off of. The only tough part about TCW is if you play as head booker and have to deal with USPW/SWF going after your guys though I find it to be a bit more fun that way.
  25. Easy disagree. The roster is ridiculously stacked. You've got a ready made lineup of great veterans to put over/teach the ready made lineup of awesome guys to push. Wolf Hawkins/Andrews/Chord are insane straight up and basically have your ratings down pat until you can build up others. Bach is solid. Gauge can basically be main event ready within a month without trying. Mighty Mo, T-Bone Bright (who so many want to put over), Freddy Huggins are all main event push potential pretty quickly (T-Bone is out classing Bach for me before I've even hit Battleground). Flynn is also sweet. Then if youre lucky youll get guys like Hocking/Stone/Remus who can blow up. Legit great roster.
