  1. Double post. New Year Dash! style show. The attendance level bothers me but w/e. It was a lesser event. Ino gets a title challenge against Horri set up. Taira is basically just a loss post. He's had plenty of reigns but at this point he's in TD. I dont think he should expect anything else in terms of accomplishment outside a 6-man or tag team title run with Masuno. Lethal RING was formed because that was the first logo I saw and its not really meant to be a long term stable anyways. Gargantuan & Prometheus have bad chemistry so they'll be splitting up at some point. Billy Russell will end up challenging Sensational Dragon for a title shot. PUNK Nasty Club are my Junior Tag Aces so gotta keep them strong. Team Toshusai got the 3 man win so they can be the next challenges to those 6-man tag titles. Opener was just a way to use my juniors tbh. I wasnt sure if theyd all get mad for missing the show or not. I took off Left Off Show complaints officially. I like to play with as many rules on as possible but I feel like they can be pretty detrimental to a puro-style game. Crowd management (I like a reverse-pyramid style booking where matches get bigger & bigger), Burn Out (I dont want to start shitting on all my main events because I went over 3hrs), Left Off Show. The left off show is largely because I'll be doing a ton of things like Fantastica Mania and what not where I'll be letting my main guys largely rest or shows in the US where I want to simulate one group of people traveling in the states while the other is in Japan. I could come up with ways to work around it in game. Sending everyone on vacation, building temporary brands and making shows brand designated. But the mechanics for doing all these things in the game are incredibly tedious & time consuming and I want to book more not spend all my time just organizing and working around it. I feel comfortable with my other TCW game knowing that given the desire I can play with everything on so BHOTWG will be a bigger focus on simulating what I hope is an interesting NJPW rip-off. I've brought in about 16 guys from CILL on 1 month handshake deals for my Ultimo Wrestling Series. I will be bringing the impressive ones back for Burning J Cup in August as well as the Junior Tag League in October. I think the roster is desperately lacking in veteran presences to work with the young lions so I'll be considering that. The GCG guys + Ino/Taira are aging out so I think in two years they'll be my guys working the undercard. Anyways, Ultimo Wrestling Series should be chill. It's an interesting experiment to see how itll work out both for CILL & myself. Ideally I would also love to set up at least a mini 2-3 show tour in each spot of the world. USA/Canada/UK/Australia are all basically set thanks to the default NJPW schedule but Mexico/India/Europe aren't. I forgot to mention I opened the Warrior Globe streaming service. At first I felt bad about eating my PPV buys but from my understanding, NJPW doesnt really use PPVs in Japan and it's not like money is ever a struggle in TEW so I just let it be. I only use PPV for the normal events I think are valuable enough. Im trying to really balance out touring/throwaway/lesser/normal and not overuse normal. EDIT: Finished up Ultimo Wrestling Series. MVPs were probably Tigre & Aztec but they all capped out around the same spot once their pop got to about 17 which is as much as it would reach doing tour shows. I had to work around their unimportant perception and do a lot of shorter matches or at times risk overuse pen for technical masterclass type matches. Its unfortunate that I cant do the workaround for a pen that's absolutely nonsensical (I dont mind pens but this is easily the worst one in the game and doesnt make sense) but it is what it is. No stories were moved forward, I just wanted to use as many CILL guys as possible alongside some of the guys on the roster who tend to be underutilized. I signed up Monday Next on a handshake deal just to help him gain some pop & get hired elsewhere in Japan. I also brought in Sojuro Sen since he was unemployed. I have no intention of pushing either guy. They'll be wrestling in the undercard mostly. Not protecting them at all. Next up is the Road to Everlasting Mission. We'll be having our first shows in the US on that tour as well. At the very least the Ultimo Wrestling Series will have helped us build a bit of US pop so we're not going in completely unknown but Im sure those wont be very pretty shows all things considered. Plans for this tour: Road to Everlasting Mission (any tour show) Blue Rhino Openweight 6-Man Tag Team: Matthew Keith, Tatsuya Toshitara & Michio Gensai vs. Tadakuni Toshusai, Taro Shionoya & Murai Enomoto -- The latter won a match at Lords of the Ring to set this up but theyll get a few more wins before this Everlasting Mission in US BHOTWG USA: Heihachiro Sakai vs. Matthew Keith -- Keith lost to Ino and would have faced Sakai at NOTBH if he'd won. Plus he's American, so. Everlasting Mission in Sapporo BHOTWG Junior Heavyweight Tag Team: Hijo Del Relampago & Jin Miyamoto vs. -- Havent decided yet actually. The tag divisions are taking a small backseat while I still find my way around the game. I wanted to see if one of the CILL pairings might be good enough and I might still go that route. BHOTWG Tag Team: Toshiharu Hyobanshi & Namboku Makuda vs. Nissho Yuasa & Hirokumi Saito -- rematch before I blow this team apart BHOTWG Japan: Munemitsu Senmatsu vs. Michio Gensai -- rematch Everlasting Mission in Osaka BHOTWG Junior Heavyweight: Sensational Dragon vs. Billy Russell - Solid challenge though Im sure the fans will be missing the pillars or Angel as a challenger BHOTWG World Heavyweight: Kinnojo Horri vs. Koshiro Ino - set up from Lords of the Ring. Horri defends and Ino gets his arguably last shot at the belt. Coastal Clash (teaming up with CZCW for this) Blue Rhino Openweight 6-Man Tag Team: Matthew Keith, Tatsuya Toshitara & Michio Gensai -- to be decided, possibly against come CZCW guys Blue Rhino King of Fighters: Buddy Garner vs. -- will face a CZCW guy BHOTWG Tag Team: Toshiharu Hyobanshi & Namboku Makuda vs. Gargantuan & Prometheus -- going to blow up God Butchers after this with that negative chem Decent stuff to look forward to here but the fun fun stuff will be when we do the Quest of Heart Single-Elimination tournament.
  2. I think it would be pretty awesome for one of the day one young lions to grow talented enough to become a World Champion and considering Im willing to give mediocre Masuno a reign, I'll be willing to give one of these not very impressive young lions eventually too. At a glance, guys I can see going on to win the world title that I feel like are BHOTWG guys: Masuno, Sakai, Toshitara (may not count since hes not a true born), Munkata/Yamura, Gensai (not classified as true born but basically is), Hiraki. Its much too early to really judge the young lions but Im going to make sure one of Bandai, Minamino (who has 80SQ and can go up 3 weight classes), Nakayama, Tomonaga, Yunokawa, &/or Hara eventually win the big one. These are just guys who I think have the potential at a glance. Masuno/Sakai are lock. The rest depends on their development. And obviously we might get lucky with Hinote Dojo generating studs though I hear a lot of negativity about regens :/ To me an ideal goal would be to make one of the starting Young Lions an eventual world champ and one of the Hinote Dojo gens an eventual world champ. When I was considering just doing a North American based puro game I was going to go with Respectful Wrestling. I prefer the larger than life/showmanship aspect of Classic Mainstream Puro though. I kinda want a product with slightly more focus on in ring (65 like Respectful Wrestling) but also more appreciation for characters & willingness to lean on SE stuff from time to time. I feel like that would mirror NJPW a tad more.
  3. Started a serious game with BHOTWG. Dont feel like making my life complicated so basically sticking really close to an NJPW type schedule. Fan Festival type show. Mostly veterans against young lions ft. freelancer Fugunaga coming by & Ninja Shunji vs. Crimson Ghost having a showdown. Nakasawa/Angel was a special match with Nakasawa wanting to team with the new arrival Nakasawa got the pin here. Gave the titles to the Golden Army boys because I dont like Saito & Yuasa also turns out they have bad chemistry & Yuasa is in TD. Ino beat Keith in a kayfabe end of a US title tournament. Ino is in time decline which sucks but is whatever since I had no big plans for him. Sensational beats the other members of the four pillars in a four way junior match because why not, lets have fun. Senmatasu beats Gensai to win his first title in four years with BHOTWG. He's going to hold otno the Japan title for at least a year but possibly more and establish that belt. Horri beats Tadayuki 2000. Tadayuki 2000 isnt in TD so he might actually get a world title reign since I want a GCG guy to get one. Its either he gets it or hold out for SUKI/Furusawa some years later. Wanted to test out The God Butchers but they've got bad tag chem. They used to be my favorite guys to try and push but Im not sure if ill even bother with BHOTWG. I might cut them loose and just find someone else to use. NEO Prime won the 6-man tag titles. It'll keep Matthew Keith busy for a bit. Masuno beats Taira. I had considered letting Taira win but I want Masuno to win the BHOTWG World title by this time next year and Taira is in TD so why not give Masuno the win. Emerald Angel beats Helikaon & Kurobi in a special challenge. Helikaon & Kurobi who have had a reign each already felt they deserved a shot at the highly reputed junior. Kurobi takes the pin, mr. Time Decline. Sakai faced Ino. Sakai had claimed he didnt trust the result of the tournament if it was a finals between two stable members so Ino ended up taking on Sakai. Sakai wins. Was going to have Ino keep the belt but hes in TD and obviously Ive got to prepare Sakai for his eventual title run in like a year or two. So first US title reign last a day but it's fine. Buddy Garner defeated Hiroaki Nakasawa for the new Blue Rhino King of Fighters. Match got dinged for selling but it's all good. -- This is our schedule for the next little while. I've got a few plans cemented already. I want the BOSJ to go to Marihito Masuko next so he can get tied for 4th, then MYSTIC Dragon will finally win it but win it 4X and finally Sensational Dragon will break the four way tie between the pillars to get his 5th. Elemental III's accomplishment will be beating Optimus's 8 title reigns. The goal will be to keep Emerald Angel strong while I'm giving those other guys their glory. BHOTWG Title wise I know I want Nakasawa to get his 5th reign to tie Horri & Kikkawa, I want Masuno to finally get his first reign even if he isn't very good, if Tadayuki is good enough I'd then like him to get a reign on behalf of the Golden Army and finally I'd like Horri to have his final reign 6th reign to surpass Kikkawa. After that I can move on to whoever is ready, likely Sakai or Keith. I'd like to build Senmatsu up into being my next real dominant BHOTWG World Champion. Obviously I'll be bringing in Furusawa & SUKI at some point & Im keeping an eye out on SAISHO/WLW/BCG guys. I'd love to grab Kobe & Kurata to join Emerald Angel in a war with the pillars. Fun game. Hope I can keep it going. I'd love to at least see through my mini BOSJ plans.
  4. Just let him be Television Champion forever! I'm almost close to Battleground so I'll make an update then but I got my first class of graduates and theres a super heavyweight I convinced to become a giant who may become the next Bruce the Giant. Jefferson Stardust, Jack Bruce, Running Wolf have all made their debuts at this point. I've also brought in Masked Cougar who had a tremendous title challenge against Greg Gauge. In addition to those I've nabbed BLZ Bubb aka Tyson Baine because USPW didnt care about it and an 81 pop is always nice to siphon. I also grabbed Caulfield on a handshake agreement so he can beef up Mighty Meaty at Battleground. I will probably let him go afterwards. And I accidentally signed Beast Bantom after he rejected 21CW's better deal for some reason. I bid for Erik Strong because he'd be great for the cruiserweight division. Tana the Mighty left for USPW, I just wasnt willing to outbid them. He was willing to put Elliot Thomas over but I dont know how I'll fit that in unless I force it somehow. Best I can do is have a mini feud between the two over television. Stardust has been solid though Running Wolf isn't great despite having more pop. He may actually end up being a bust, I know Im saying that only a couple days into his contract but it's true. If he can learn to talk, that would be nice. Stardust can talk and is currently aligned with Jack Bruce. Sadly Bruce didn't want to come out of retirement though so he'll be largely used as our spokesman. Champagne Lover is also in TD so he's not the best anymore either. On the flipside, TCW's roster is so insane it doesn't really matter. Ace, Wolf, Chord, Gauge, Huggins, and then guys like Bright have developped into main event quality for me overnight. Anyways, looking forward to getting past stablewars night at Battleground. Just two more months till Total Mayhem <3
  5. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Hazemore" data-cite="Hazemore" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47616" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>With Wolf, I think he is 85 pop in my save, but I'm trying to keep him from the title picture, so I feud him with lower card faces I want to push. He always wins at then end of the 3 months feud (I edited which PPV's are where to make it easier, e.g summer showdown 3 months after mayhem).<p> </p><p> Hawaiian has gained like 10-15 pop, and is looking like a future world champ</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Hawaiian is probably top 10 most promising guy to sign in '20 with the likes of Beaumont & Okamoto. </p><p> </p><p> -</p><p> </p><p> Discovered that I could not convince Jack Bruce to come out of retirement. That's perfectly fine, he has immense value either way. It does suck that I wont be able to do the Once in a Lifetime Bruce vs. Lover match though. Ace has enough HOI that I can do Ace vs. Lover though. </p><p> </p><p> I had: Lover, Andrews, Bruce & Stardust vs. Hawkins, Hammond, Flynn & Running Wolf plotted for Battleground main event but I'll have to reconsider. I think Wolf will end up taking Bruce's spot but will turn on them to join Syndicate. When Syndicate eventually breaks up at Mayhem, Wolf/Flynn/Running will remain together as the Wolf Pack. I'll have to sub in either Nate or Eddie to drag down the main event. </p><p> </p><p> Rick Law is up for signing. Ive offered 6 years & about 100K but hes not so amazing that I feel desperate to get him. If USPW/SWF/EILL outbid me, I'll let him go elsewhere. I've already abandoned Frehley who went back to SWF.</p><p> </p><p> Im not too desperate for signings till Total Mayhem though because theres only so much room on the roster. I'll bring in anyone who can help me win national battles though. That said with Bruce around, Im just a point below USPW anyways and Im outclassing them on shows so might not need to bother. I feel dirty having Lover & Bruce as my top two guys but its to be expected. Hawkins is at 86 & Ace at 80 so they're getting up there anyways. </p><p> </p><p> For some reason, no one is challenging me to sign my guys. Signed Mo uninterrupted and Human Arsenal's contract expired but no one is biting. I will sign him to a one year contract most likely. I dont use him much atm but once his popularity hits the 50s and hes lost all values, I can transition him into a veteran jobber. At the moment his pop is 65ish so I have to sort of protect him for the right PPV loss.</p>
  6. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="merrykieran2" data-cite="merrykieran2" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47627" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I know but Hugh was my boy <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> He was so good for me and deserved that title</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> On the brightside, he's now getting paid & moving on to a bigger stage thanks to your efforts</p>
  7. Not got much to comment on aside to say loving reading this. Hope you offer up more updates of your SAISHO adventures. BHOTWG joining the AAGP has to be really huge for you since you get easy access to top tier Japanese workers & get to expose your own to bigger stages. Do you not use your young lions on your tour shows outside pre/post show?
  8. Decided to start a CWW game as Lucy Avatar, british referee. Intending on keeping the schedule as it is but I've added 3 King of the North road to shows & an Anniversary show in October. I won't be adding any TV shows or any events besides these ones. The goal is to do 50 years with the company so having just 20 events a year will make that easy (plus I'll see how many trophies I can nab along the way). I've expanded the roster with 2 new road agents & a referee as well as a bunch of youngsters: Aurelian Bradley, Maxwell Bleak, Bryn Archer, Dangermouth, Cain Carlile, Gazz Vedmore, Hardcore McAvatar, Mickey Robson & Sharif. We will focus a ton on performance so whoever is getting those results will get pushed. I haven't decided what I'll do for the random Summer Sizzler tour yet. Owner goals are to gain pop, not hire daredevils, and keep my wrestlers under 42. The only thing I want to make sure I do is keep the defenses relatively low (10 max a year). That'll be tricky because I dont like having champions in non-title singles matches. We'll see how it goes. My other worry is wrestlers not having enough shows to develop but I guess we'll see how that goes.
  9. I like to have a GM of some sort handy but I havent used one much in my TCW game. Theres not enough space for segments and the matches have been relatively logical to book so I havent really needed it. I dont think its a bad idea to trot out a guy like RDJ to give the TCW's Booking Committee a voice but Dana White strat would work much the same. EDIT: Actually the kayfabe idea of a Dana White type who is only concerned about money & booking big matches makes a ton of sense tbh and gives you a lot of booking excuses.
  10. Let me know how it goes if you do it. I went with Gauge since its an excuse not to give him a legit push & he can carry anyone to a good match. -- Here's The War to Settle the Score. Unfortunately, my main event had a slightly burned out crowd which disappointed me a bit. My fault for playing with crowd management on, I guess. I'm not very satisfied with this show all around but it was always going to be a tough card to do going all 1 v 1 and I imagine next card will be tough too. I havent 100% settled on my plans for Battleground. My two options atm are: a) Aaron Andrews grabs Champagne Lover & probably Bach & Chord to face off with the Syndicate. My other option is Aaron Andrews & Champagne Lover each assemble a team for an all-star TCW main event. With Running Wolf & Jefferson Stardust arriving, and Lover originally being from EILL, it wouldnt be hard to assemble a credible main event team. Gonna have to sit down & assemble that Battleground card. Once we are past Battleground, I can go full throttle with Hawkins & Ace. Based on my calculations, Bach's contract expires the night after Total Mayhem so thatll be real intriguing. Chord's contract is the night after Summer Showdown so hes pretty much guaranteed a Summer Showdown headlining match vs. Ace (who wont be losing the belt to Hawkins at Mayhem).
  11. I agree. I dont really intend on letting many of the oldies go. Many have room to work as road agents, personalities & managers after they call it a day. Aside from the big four, here are guys I'm loosely trying to keep strong right now: Freddy Huggins - Could be in line for a single world title reign Joshua Taylor - Always been a big fan, right with Huggins Greg Gauge - Hes got a gimmick where hes going to defend the Television title for 52 straight total wrestling episodes against 52 different opponents. Only way I dont let him do it is if he gets a serious injury. Hes working with a bruised eye right now. Guaranteed future world champion. Killer Shark & Titan - I dig this duo, especially Titan. Could get a push depending on performance Matt Hocking - Not involved in big stories yet but as the old guys get out of the way, he will get more opportunities. Mighty Mo - He should be up there with Chord but this Sinner Society feud is preventing his push, after Total Mayhem, we will re-evaluate him. I just signed him to a long term contract after no one wanted to counter offer. T-Bone Bright - He's getting really good and everyone wants to put him over Benny Benson & The Foxx - I'm actually separating them but they'll be facing off in the finals of a Cruiserweight title for the belt at Total Mayhem. Chris Flynn - He will become the #2 in the Syndicate and eventually will join Wolf's Wolf Pack Edd Stone - I like him but he's not making the cut for the big stories at the moment, eventually I'd like to elevate him up the card Marc Speed - Soft spot for him because he was great for me on 16. Hes got low morale because of an injury at the moment though Roderick Remus - Good memories from MAW. Id love to have him feud with Greg Gauge on/off again throughout their careers. He will be Sammy Bach's 2nd man if I can keep him Nick Booth - I like Sinner Society. He's still the lost post but I like to give him wins on Showcase I still use all of the veterans whenever I can. Im not force pushing anyone down unless they offer to put someone over.
  12. Thomas isn't bad. But he's not good enough to justify any sort of push as it is. Who knows in 1 to 5 years though. I signed Running Wolf & Stardust since their contracts came up. I think Ill mostly just pick guys up who fit and Im willing to go the whole way on. That said I have some guys I really want to bring in: Cameron Vessey (for the Vessey link), The Cornells (new Syndicate). Im also considering doing a huge stable thats basically a sort of brotherhood/fraternity sort of thing. It'll be called 21st Century Hedonists and will have Fro Sure (The Rapper), K.P. Avatar (Funkenstein), Silver Tiger (Masked), Will Beaumont (Australian), Garry The Entertainer (The Innovative Leader), Yuta Isono (On/Off Member from Japan), Bollywood Baljit Avatar (Bollywood Star), SubUrban Legend (Australian Rapper), Colossal Karl (German Bodyguard), Super Massive Destroyer (Monster Bodyguard) I havent signed all of them yet but if another company tries to Ill fight for them. I did sign KP/Garry/Yuta/Karl because they were free agents.
  13. <p>I forgot to mention that...</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="ab3b5640ebb124659bb42d21d244afb4.png" data-src="https://i.gyazo.com/ab3b5640ebb124659bb42d21d244afb4.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> its never too late to find a mentor & learn to sell, kids. even if you're in time decline.</p>
  14. I tossed Courtney with Thomas & Biggins as the blandest trio in the roster as fanboys of Sammy Bach. Not everyone needs to have a big role I think. They're fine losing week to week. I'll give them wins on Showcase & pre-shows occasionally. Manage to officially nab Stardust & Vengeance. No one even tried going for Mighty Mo. I'm in the process of trying to acquire Running Wolf as well. I dont want to load up my roster on guys from other rosters but it's early so I'm willing to take the risks. We're doing really well though so bulking up the roster might be unnecessary right now. If I can retain Jay Chord & Greg Gauge, Ive got zero concerns with TCW for the foreseeable future. I really want a second brand as well but I dont want to slow my game down :/ My showcase already kinda bums me out but is necessary.
  15. I think Best Show is probably the easiest to make sure you get if you want a bit of a safety net in that case. That way you can at least aim to make sure you've got one show a month topping their best grade. Combined will probably be tougher to nail. And pop would take a while. Just hit big. Looks like storyline requirement is 65 X 3. That is definitely doable. Anyone notice Quentin Queen, TCW School grad who wasn't kept? He's really solid. Im signing him as a jobber for now but I might toss him into Bach's cult too. TCW has been incredibly fun to pay, I'm really excited to eventually reach Total Mayhem. now that I've hit big I'll have to re-evaluate things a bit. Im not sure if I'll be able to hold on yet or not. I offered for Son of Vengeance who is actually pretty bad in this game but why not, and it looks like I might outbig SWF. Also no one is going for Jefferson Stardust. I am considering bringing in Remmy Skye but I'll be keeping him one night only deals for the moment. Now that I'm big, part of me is considering just rolling with a dream match. TCW is in L.A. in my game and I think though TCW is less gimmicky than its competitors, bringing in a Jack Bruce or Skull DeBones to face Champagne Lover in a possibly cinematic match would be pure fun. Bringing in Bryan Vessey back since hes a TCW legend is also a possibility. Sammy Bach is shit and I hope USPW steals him away. Anyways, just 2 more shows until War to Settle the Score!
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="WCGreyghost" data-cite="WCGreyghost" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47616" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I expanded to Big size after my Week 4 April TV show. I'm curious if you know what the storyline requirements are? I probably wont nail Enygma but Stardust would be a cool addition. Ive never ever used him and if Mo/Gauge/Bach/Chord leave, there will definitely be space for him to fill. I'm still looking for the right opponent for Lover's return at Total Mayhem.</p>
  17. <p>Iglesias/Jordan/Girven found All Elite Wrestling!</p><p> </p><p> I kinda like the pitch Dalton had for HONOUR/DIASPORA and honestly Im going to steal an aspect of it for some game down the line. I love the thought that theres three puro companies: a junior-centric one, a heavyweight centric one, a joshi centric one and they're all three sister companies. They sometimes cohost big events together. Juniors who want to get big would naturally head of the heavyweight centric one. The purpose of divying up the company would be just to avoid spotlighting one division over the other. Could even have stables that extend from one promotion to another and that sort of stuff. </p><p> </p><p> Idk if its possible but since the game wont let you have other companies on your network, maybe a Reverie style company (just not as insanely huge) can own all three companies and give them shows on their network. </p><p> </p><p> Anyways, I'll be happy with anything that happens tbh.</p>

It might inspire me to give Shark a push as well! </p><p> </p><p> I dig Behemoths/Booth with Peak. I dont think I'll be breaking them up anytime soon. Peak is on his deathbed but is a great talker so you can push Shark and have Booth/Titan team or keep Booth as stable lost post while one pursues a TV title reign & the other a world title reign.</p>
  19. I know Killer Shark was the thing in 2016, but in 2020 Titan is easily the better worker. I feel like the love for Shark is a remnant of the previous edition and Titan isnt really getting his due justice. Titan is as good as Edd Stone / Foxx / Bright to start where as Shark is easily a step below any of them. A good win for Titan over someone with a bit more pop than him could probably put him into Star quality territory around Taylor/Huggins.
  20. My sympathies. Buying a game for someone should not be this hard. Hope it works out sooner rather than later.
  21. Playing as booker so I suspect I'll have my hands tied but I'd probably do anything to get Vessey and Cornell in.
  22. Oh yeah. He performs really well even though his stats dont really look that impressive to me. Tbh, I dont care if he turns into an egomaniac, Im pulling the trigger, Im even considering adding an extra event just so he can do an extra match. If I can force T-Bone Bright into a surprise mega star, I'll do it! -- First PPV in the books. TCW World Heavyweight Championship: Aaron “Ace” Andrews vs. “Our Lord and Savior” Jay Chord vs. “The Rock God” Sammy Bach: Aaron Andrews makes a successful title defense by pinning Chord. Just the night before he beat Chord in a singles match where he even put the title on the line because Chord wanted to prove that he would beat Andrews if it was 1 v 1. So this is a big morale loss for Chord. Bach is here. He drags the match down despite the good grade. I want to give Bach a huge push but hes way too underwhelming this year. His contract expires soon and I hope USPW grabs him. Chord's contract expires soon too lol. “Straight Edge Superstar” Joshua Taylor vs. “The 24 Hour Party Animal” Edd Stone: This match graded better than the guys performed. I booked Taylor in '16 as Riddle copy but I dig him as the SES this time around. Stone is a fitting opponent. After Taylor/Huggins had beat Stone/Hocking, Taylor tried to convince Stone he could carry him to wins, after one tag win, they lost to Hocking & Huggins with Huggins pinning Stone. Stone was pissed off and made the challenge. He obviously loses. “All Night Long” Freddy Huggins vs. “Shocking” Matt Hocking: Hocking gets some spotlight in a match against one of our upper midcarders Huggins. Huggins wins because hes trying to break into the main event. Impressive match overall. One Man Army vs. Troy Tornado: Throwaway match. Originally One Man Army was going to win but then I realized Troy Tornado winning would boost his pop for when he puts over Bright lol. Doc Hammond vs. T-Bone Bright: Hammond wanted to put T-Bone over so the original Speed vs. Bright was high jacked. Story is Hammond asked Speed to take his spot in the opener so he could test Bright himself after Bright beat Speed on TV. Sinner Society (Eddie Peak, Killer Shark, Titan & Nick Booth) vs. Mighty Mo, Tana The Mighty, Yuri Yoshihara & Dean “The Machine” Daniels: Keeping Sinner Society strong even though Eddie Peak isn't the man I used to love. Mighty Mo is good and he'll be breaking off from Tana sooner or later to head into the main event picture. His contract is expiring soon though so we'll see if I can keep him. “Great” Greg Gauge & “Rated R” Roderick Remus vs. Benny Benson & Flying Jimmy Foxx: Benny & Foxx asked Gauge to a tag match after failing to beat him for TV title, Gauge gets old MAW bud Remus. Gauge is already as good as Bach tbh. But I'm going to have him spend the year beating guest from all over the wrestling world in TV title matches. He's going to do this for 52 weeks. A different opponent every single time. Remus will be joining Sammy Bach's Cult as the 2nd in command. “Dr. Love” Danny Fonzarelli & Dazzling Dave Diamond vs. Human Arsenal & The Maverick: Just keeping Danny & Dazzling strong. They're both in time decline but I'll be putting them in a stable led by Freddy Huggins and also featuring Flying Jimmy Foxx so they'll be the stable dads. The Syndicate (Wolf Hawkins, Marc Speed, Eddie Chandler, Nate Johnson & Chris Flynn) vs. Darryl Devine, Chance Fortune, Jeremie Courtney, Elliot Thomas, Bart Biggins: Wolf Hawkins rejected facing Aaron Andrews and instead was tossed into the feud of Syndicate vs. Devine/Fortune, and throwaway guys Courtney/Thomas/Biggins get dragged into this beatdown. Chris Flynn gets the win here because hes pretty good and I'd like to elevate him. Syndicate aren't long for this world, because I'll be taking them out at Total Mayhem. One Man Army will reunite with Doc for the 6th record tying tag title reign. Wolf will get a real Wolf Pack. Ive got plans for Courtney/Thomas/Biggins too. Later in the show "Rock God" Sammy Bach is being the cool Jericho-ish dad and telling them how they couldve beat Hawkins. - I'd like to open a development company because MAW's monthly isn't enough. I'd also like to add Showcase as a B-show because I dont have enough TV time on Total Wrestling. Plus I like the idea that at some point Greg Gauge wrestle someone for the entire episode. Champagne Lover is my UC. The idea is that TCW moves back to L.A. and Lover comes in as a booker. He wants to do crazy new things with TCW so we're changing towards Wrestling Nerd Nirvana. For now he just appears in a segment now and then. He will eventually come in as a commissioner of some sort. Im looking for the right opponent for him at Total Mayhem. We'll see what comes up, maybe someone like Bach gets signed away and I go Chord vs. Lover. Lover also wants to do what Cornell/Golden/Strong couldn't do and carry TCW to #1 in the world, topping USPW himself.
  23. T-Bone Bright must be the most charming man in the world because everyone wants to put him over asap. I don't have enough events for T-Bone Bright to be put over in. The thing is, he's not even good enough to deserve to be put over that hard but I cant resist the easy push! Also someone tell Joshua Taylor he's not gonna win a title if he's putting average dudes over. Jeez.
