  1. Unless Im mistaken, you wouldnt be able to get on TV internationally because you have 0 pop everywhere else.
  2. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="The Lloyd" data-cite="The Lloyd" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47633" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>So guys, talk to me about expansion for RAW...<p> </p><p> Obviously in my diary, I'm not too fussed about ever expanding. But at the same time, I like having the 'game' element of the game still at play, while I write my stories and have fun.</p><p> </p><p> So. With that in mind. What are the best ways you guys can see of expanding RAW into other countries? I don't really want a PPV deal right now, as I have this vision of RAW as a TV Show, where they have 8-12 monthly 'special' episodes. But no PPV.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Realistically I feel like they'd try to get on a Netflix or something like that. Alternatively, they would have their own sub network and do a ton of random shows based around workers like total divas and the e&c show.</p>
  3. I would probably just continue, just one of Swoop's many reigns anyways, I imagine. Got another show done. Swoop is insane. Really hard carries RAW even though that roster is stacked overall. Followed your advices and Im bringing in D-Pod, he'll have his own weekly segment where he interviews a wrestler and I'll let him grow in pop doing that for a bit. Dumpfrey Pinn is also in. I am considering singing the trio of Dreadnought/Diaz/Wolfsbaine to be his 3 Minute Warning. That or I guess I can use what I already have in Gladiator & JT Ace. When Rahmel Goode retires, he'll certainly have a position of authority role at some point. Besides that I'm trying to sign enough guys to per month contracts so I can run house shows. Right now I'm slowly testing out my tag team divisions so I can give God's Gift something to do. Frogue & Swoop will be going at it for a bit. Im trying to establish more storylines but still finding my footing. Really fun company.

I lean hard to Bunrakuken as my personal favorite - it feels like he always just a touch better than Funakoshi in particular, plus he is 3 years younger.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Heathen! What burial have you forced Funakoshi through for him to be in any way less than Bunrakuken. Funakoshi is the GOAT.</p>

Would be great to have a true leader to the Golden Army. Funakoshi is my favorite CVerse guy as well so I may bring him in and give him a huge push.</p><p> </p><p> Could you give me more info on what you did for the tournament? What kind of broadcaster did you air the shows on? </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="CGN91" data-cite="CGN91" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47504" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>BHOTWG will be my first save this year. I think they're are in a very interesting spot with Kikkawa no more and back to touring again. Yea touring is the key word, because i won't tour anymore. I tried some stuff out with the whole "tour, lesser & normal" show stuff and i came to the following that i will be doing lesser shows with a normal show at the end of the tour because you gain a lot of more money than with a tour show. You can also do two broadcaster out of Japan when they share content, so you make even more money. My first thought was to be very accurate in doing touring:<p> </p><p> Shows outside of the big cities (Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Yokohama etc.) would be lesser shows to run smaller title challenges there. Just like a Korakuen Hall main event type of show. Your average tour stops in Togane, Kuki or Kofu are the tour or throwaway shows. I love to go in detail and only do bigger matches in bigger cities or on bigger shows. You won't see a tag match in freaking' Tsushima or Kofu, only get six man or more.</p><p> </p><p> Tournaments like BOSJ or a G1/Carny should all be normals, because they will all be broadcast. I would definetly add a Heavyweight Round Robin tournament to Burning Hammer , it adds so much more.</p><p> </p><p> I'm going with JON regarding development and expanding stuff. When i got the money i will definetly try to expand to the States and the rest of the world. A Burning World on-demand service is also a main thing to do imo, we've got 2020 man let us be the first ones with a wrestling sub service.</p><p> </p><p> Tbh i don't care about a heir to Kikkawa right away, i like the aspect that you have try & error. Yes i love me some great grades, but i also like that you can do a wrong decision regarding of title matches and stuff. It adds a cool layer and is even more realistic. I think Yasunobu Masuno is destined to be a one time champion, so i can see him doing a Makabe/Nakanishi type of title win just as a gift because he's a loyal asset to our company. I like Keith but i would love to have an equal nihon main player , too. My go-2-guy is still Razan Okamoto , but not in the first years obviously.</p><p> </p><p> I don't like the stables , besides the invading Senmatsu-gun and Golden Army. I think we will go full Dragon Gate and will do some disbanding matches or a betrayal here and there. Decades ago they did so many betrayals, even in NJPW, that stables dissapeared and appeared in weeks. I know the NEO split is fresh to the database but i don't care that much. I also can see a RATEL's type of reunion with Masuda and Taira. The stables definetly needs some Jrs as well!</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I think I'll have to sit down today and try to figure out a more concrete schedule before I really get settled into the game, and try and incorporate locations more. I'm not crazy familiar with Japanese geography so it'll be a learning experience. I think I'll mostly stick to making sure Im mimicking NJPW's schedule. </p><p> </p><p> I understand the dislike for NEO after some thought. There's really no direction to go with it. Taira/Ino/Masuno were never big enough that them splitting into three factions would be an attractive direction to take it. Each of the three stables just feel like they're not working towards anything.</p><p> </p><p> My reluctance with Keith/Helikaon & most of the guys I signed to development is just that, I still prefer to have a largely Japanese core. Im hoping that I'll find some gem in one of my graduates to treat like the second coming of Kikkawa.</p>
  6. <p>In my continued exploration of trying out different companies, I decided to give BHOTWG a shot. Im not sure if this file is official or just me testing it out yet. </p><p> </p><p> Broadcasting: Opened two broadcasters with tiny worldwide broadcasting, one is subscription (tour highlights) one is PPV (big shows). I will invest in them whenever I hit the break even number on subs.</p><p> </p><p> Development: Hinote Dojo Ressurection is alive & well. </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="665cccd358e676feae0e5e9af03fc798.png" data-src="https://i.gyazo.com/665cccd358e676feae0e5e9af03fc798.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Clearly I wasnt very nationalistically inclined. We're looking for the next face of BHOTWG and that was the priority of this signing spree. Going forward I will make sure that the company is filled with our graduates and not a ton of foreigners. One thing I love about 2020 is I can immediately tell if someone is ready to get moved to the main roster. If they can get performances as well as my lower cards, they can get on our tours.</p><p> </p><p> I've also upgraded dojo facilities to their max for maximal amount of grads. I'll be raising training to 100% soon enough enough too. </p><p> </p><p> I will probably have a BHOTWG-USA & Hinote Dojo USA once I have the funds to invest in it. </p><p> </p><p> --</p><p> </p><p> Roster wise: obviously the big issue with BHOTWG is a lack of heir to Kikkawa. I dont really have a solution to that yet. Im willing to bet both Helikaon & Matthew Keith are good enough to headline with a push but I dont want to rush into that. I'll tell you though that I have a hard time not seeing Keith headlining NOTBH in 2021. Right now, I think its likely Horri vanquishes Time Decline Hiroaki one last time.</p><p> </p><p> Here's some tiny plotlines that occured to me:</p><p> Sensation Dragon & Elemental III are competing for their 5th BOSJ</p><p> BHOTWG Japan needs to be established, who will do it?</p><p> Race for 8 JHW title reigns: the big four juniors have 3+ each. Helikaon & Kuroki have had their first reigns this year. But I think Helikaon will move on before he gets anywhere close & tbh one one of the big fours breaks the reign count, Id want to avoid having someone else do it. I prefer to have long & quality reigns.</p><p> Race for 6 World title reigns: Horri has 5, Nakasawa has 4. Can one of them topple Kikkawa's record. Same thing with above where this is the last time a wrestler will hit that many reigns if im in charge.</p><p> Emerald Angel vs. the Junior division: Arguably the best figurehead contender on your roster, he's debuted recently, hes gotta compete with the four pillars of juniors now.</p><p> A few guys are looking for their first world title reigns: Heihachiro Sakai, Yasunobu Masuno (and hes running out of time), Matthew Keith. These are the guys most in line for me. Gakusha has an outsiders chance.</p><p> Senmatsu has to kill everything. I think he's worth pushing and establishing as one of your top workers & stables.</p><p> </p><p> I know people hate Neo X & Neo Prime & I'd slot Slaughterhouse right in there. Havent yet decided what I'll do with all the stables. Golden Army & Senmatsu-gun are safe af because I like them. The main three stables will have to change. I never booked Neo like Bullet Club, I always booked them like LIJ but BHOTWG have gone full BC in 2020. WE will see what happens here but obviously Neo & Slaughterhouse probably arent destined for much. </p><p> </p><p> Schedule wise: I havent decided what Ill do yet. The only appeal for tour shows is i dont have to put in any effort. I can toss in everyone on my roster who is healthy, and not care about grades at all. You cannot gain pop on tour shows with BHOTWG so theres no sense in wasting top matches here either. I will say Im 100% going to book the BOSJ and whatever G1 I come up with as either lesser or normal intent shows. </p><p> </p><p> Anyways, BHOTWG is a cool company.</p>
  7. Thats mostly how I booked Southern Comfort vs. Marvin Crew. I would definitely hire some vets & jobbers. I think its something NXT did a lot themselves so its not unrealistic either. I really dug booking LaRoux, I actually think he might bypass Good/Ratzolf to get the big push after I get Arnold & Hellion called up. Glad you were able to renegotiate. Moriarty Schnell also got caught with soft drugs for me but Im not really concerned about soft drugs in TEW so I never really punish people for it. If he was working high and screwing other people over, I'd certainly deal with it though. Turned off soft drugs after that incident. Samson Sharpe is pretty solid tbh. He was one of the better guys right off the bat. Are you all managing to keep 3 storylines over 35 heat? That'll be the Small requirement so best get ready for it if you have strict storylines on?
  8. What pride said. 55% is paying nothing and even then, on first renegotiation of my 3 month deal, I got it up to 60% no paying.
  9. Really digging this. Looking forward Narahashi challenging Kato. Should be a good one. Again, this diary is just really cool.
  10. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="moafnsteel" data-cite="moafnsteel" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47634" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I love Zap and and Marvin! I have put them in a stable with Zeke and have them called Muscle Outlawz (I have a stable logo from IDOL lol) and think of them like the New Day</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Oh my god. Having been reminded of those memes with those hyper muscular wholesome/positive guys I feel like Muscle Outlawz would be such a perfect idea. These three gym heads who are just crazy upbeat/optimistic/wholesome and you can easily run with a heel take on them as well in the way that New Day did it. That's a 100% top notch idea and I will have to steal it if not in RIPW then another game.</p>
  11. How good are Marvin and Zap where you're at? The crawl to 17/18 pop is pretty easy. Afterwards it's a tad trickier. I've enjoyed both Marvin and Zap. They're a long way from getting the push tho on my end. Im not playing solely for grades so I don't really enjoy tossing in say Whole Lotta Marvin on the mic every week when I don't feel like it's legitimately moving forward his feud with Southern Comfort. Southern Comfort is very Shield-like for me so they retain their legitimacy by swarming and beating up people. That doesn't get good ratings but that's what the story dictates for me so I go for it. Getting a weekly is a double edged sword. If you grow too fast without your roster being able to keep up you might get a bit stuck. Would love for you to post about how your game is progressing. I dig seeing how other people are playing them. I think it'll be especially fun once you start having that roster turnover and get grads. Or tough if you lose your ratings maker.
  12. <p>Got RIPW up to Small but that turned out to be a bit of a mistake. You need 3 storylines with 35 heat at that level, a somewhat challenging feat for a pop-based company when your most popular guy starts off at 23. Ive got Hellion up to 36 in New England but if I need 3 storylines, that becomes a bit harder. </p><p> </p><p> I've brought in a few veterans, mostly some that are close to retirement and have some pop to leech off. Justify it as RIPW actually trying to gain more legitimacy and those guys getting that final payday. I've got thank Billy Russell, Doug Peak, & Java for helping me on that last show in a pretty good main event that also included Hellions.</p><p> </p><p> Of course the goal remains to be sustainable on our own. I'm still not adept at Pop > Perf, largely when it comes to getting your guys to gain pop if they're being judged on pop and theres no one to steal pop from. Hopefully angles can carry me the way there.</p>
  13. I thought about it too and I guess the very simple answer is: the AI doesnt go out of its way to convince bankable stars to come to the U.S? Now granted, those guys have no pop in the U.S. to start so maybe if you find a way to expand globally (i got my tiny worldwide network to compliment A.S.N.), the USPWs/SWFs of the world will be more inclined to convince guys to come overseas? Could be the reason why RAW never bothered trying to expand outside of Australia despite having hit somewhat of a ceiling. Whenever I do entertainment centric feds, I tend to go too overboard on angles to push storylines and have no room for matches so RAW's 50/50 mix made it real easy to focus on storylines & do matches as more of an afterthought. Would you guys untick Spine Moves if you thought a match had a chance to get a pretty good grade (IE: you're running Frogue vs. Swoop after a month or two of build up and think they have a chance to get a top tier grade)?
  14. I definitely wouldnt run a 16 man tournament in one night. Unless youre fudging with the 1 v 1 format of it, then that means you have to stuff 15 matches in one night. Id for sure go 2 nights minimum no matter but Id probably prefer 3 nights ideally so neither of the finalist are working more than once the final night unless theyve got ridic stamina to account for it.
  15. I used Pinn when I played as DIW a bit back in '16. I dont really care to bully any of the Australian companies too, I wouldnt really consider them rivals considering how little chance they stand lol. Its not a bad idea though. Troll doesnt seem too bad. Havent really considered Halloween Knight but hes a thought. Lots of great women managers/personalities who can talk tbh. I have a hard time not just turning to them for those roles since theyre real good. I still really like performance based but I feel like booking Pop > Perf is chiller and requires less foreplanning on my part. Plus going from Japanese touring companies where most shows dont really matter to feeling like youre pushing storylines forward every episode is neat. I really want to see if I can build Beaumont to that top tier spot. I've checked out a couple of the diaries about RAW, definitely some cool stuff going on. I like the idea of yearly "themed" episodes. Some of my favorite shows (B99, Community, Rick & Morty) all do that. I dont know if I'll have a strict spot for it on the schedule but Id love to have some batshit crazy episodes everyone is always excited for each year. Also dug the Main Event Mafia idea I saw in christmasape's thread. Only skimmed but theres a lot of guys not involved in storylines at the start, namely Steele, Jackson, Captain Wrestling II, Rahmel Goode. I dig the idea of Swoop beating Frogue and winning another title and the rest of the main eventers being like naw this isnt happening anymore. I want to get a lot of stables going tbh. Love the LiberTeens! In my headcannon, RAW hired a few social media coordinators to just spam LiberTeens boy band clips on twitter just like all the KPop spam. Drive up that heat! I saw Kerry Wayne turn on Beaumont in one of the threads but I like the idea of giving Beaumont a heel run as the new head of the Wayne family. Tbh, Im 100% rolling with the Batman parallel. Kerry is my Nightwing, Kal my Red Hood, Kian my Red Robin, Will Beaumont is the new Robin. (I know Im skipping a bunch of complicated Batman lore in this summation). Anyways, RAW is really cool.
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Diablox" data-cite="Diablox" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47634" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Trying out new tags & worker/manager combinations is one of my favourites parts of the early game. I brought in 3 very low pay managers to RIPW & have been pairing them with everyone who appears on the pre-shows but I’ve only had negative chemistry so far.<p> </p><p> I may have to double up my good workers on the pre-show & main show to give these managers a chance at finding some good chemistry - otherwise it’s the end of the line for them!</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Honestly, it does make sense to get as many managers as you can and saddle them with someone theyve got good chemistry with. I think this is something universally applicable to any fed really. Why not take a free boost? And you can write it however you want, its a girlfriend, a trainer, a spokesperson, an agent, a friend. I mean, in no actual sport does an individual not have someone at their side and what not.</p>
  17. Im using a Perf >>>>>> Pop guy but after digging some RIPW, I decided to give the king of Pop >>>>> Perf, RAW, a try. Ive never given them a shot in previous TEW games, as far as I can recall. They're super fun. I did make some tweaks. I dont like playing with face/heel. Ive never liked/will never like alignments tbh. And there's no real reason for me to keep it. The other alteration I made was more so for selfish reasons, I changed the angle focus to be tight. I dont think it wouldve matter much if I kept it as it was since I had plenty of high grading angles in the end, but this is the Swoop show, I think it makes sense to have him be the core of how good or bad we do. I like that it's just one TV show and that's it. I'd love to just keep it that simple tbh. I've opened up a Tiny subscription worldwide outside of Oceania (it seems like A.S.N. has ABSOLUTE exclusivity) and whenever I hit the breaking even benchmark, I'll upgrade it. Im not 100% on if Ill stick to RAW over say RIPW which Im really enjoying and has more goals to achieve. But RAW was really fun and I'd love to go back to it. I think the structure would make it really easy to blast through the game without really worrying about anything besides the storylines. EDIT: Before I forget to add, Im currently looking for an Interview & a General Manager for the roster, both with high entertainment skills hopefully. Also cautiously seeing if theres any insane announcer/color commentator I might be able to bring in.

I was planning on stretching their feud out for a good while but after their first match was hit with this I’m now thinking of moving them apart pretty quickly!<p> </p><p> Am I right in thinking that every game is different in its chemistry assignment, positive or negative?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yeah it switches between games. I was fortunate to not have Deever & Hellion with negative chemistry. I'd probably switch it if I was in your position, or use some triple threats/fatal four ways to help get rid of the chemistry issue. </p><p> </p><p> I got a mixed bag of chems so far. Barron & Curt have chemistry but they're the worst tag team lol. Hellion is good against Flack & Deever against Sharpe. The latter is useful because Sharpe is one of the better performers at the start. I can see Sharpe getting a title opportunity post Ultimate Showdown if he gets past Marvin. So a feud with Deever would help quite a bit. </p><p> </p><p> Worst chem is probably that Son of Vengeance has bad chem with Willy LaRoux. Funnily enough, their opponents for that show Bryan Jewett & KP Avatar also had bad chem so it was a recipe for a bad formula overall. </p><p> </p><p> Im not sure what that means for Infamous though. Ill probably just not have them tagged up in regular tags. I still want Will LaRoux to be leading Infamous when he eventually gets into the title scene so no serious changes happening to that stable.</p><p> </p><p> Having fun with RIPW overall. Its a change of pace from the games I tend to do.</p>
  19. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="d12345" data-cite="d12345" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47634" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Definitely needs to be renamed to be taken seriously. I suggest Rampage.<p> </p><p> @JonTheGoat how did that Son of Vengeance vs Curt Merritt match get a 0? I've actually never seen that before.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I imagine too many penalties? They're the worst performers in the company tbh so not super suprised. Curt got an 11 and SoVen got an 8 this match. </p><p> </p><p> If I get around to giving Deever another push after he puts over Hellion at Ultimate Showdown, I'll shorten his name to Rampage. I agree Deever Arnold is a nerdy name.</p>
  20. From a sim I ran they dont seem to call people so Im gonna do my best to force it. I definitely want to push SoVen but I dont yet know how to go about that. Hes obviously not great in the ring atm, but its a pop focused company. For now Im letting him grow while I focus on my headliners. I'll be bringing in extra hands as well, but mostly to pass on pop to my desperate headliners. - March to Victory is in the books. Show grades could be better but there's not much I can do until one of my headliners is a bit more popular. I was considering giving the belt to Deever Arnold since he was pretty solid but Im ultimately going to stick with Hellion. Arnold will probably fail to take back the title at Ultimate Showdown. Im going to have Hellion engage in a short feud with Java until then. Tribal Warrior will likely be brought in to team with Java and help our tag division. Thanks to RIPW's product, those popular TD guys are super useful for us and this is probably the one situation where I feel comfortable bringing in veterans just to siphon their pop since I think those guys would be down for that RIPW stop at the tail end of their career especially since they're making decent money off the deals. I started RIPW Uprising on WrestleWorld so we've got a weekly show to build up to the PPV. I left it at 1hr but I would absolutely have storyline room to expand it to 1 1/2 hrs. Double Z is about to head off for an MMA fight. Going to stretch out the Marvin feud with Southern Comfort up till WrestleWorld where Sharpe will face Marvin. Still getting settled in with the roster overall but Im really digging this game. I hope with the help of WrestleWorld I can get to a spot where SWF have no choice but do call ups. Brought in a manager for Deever Arnold since he's virtually useless outside the ring. Actress Juliet Balconi is helping him out. Haley Buck was brought in as the unstable general manager.
  21. Surprised that no one seems to be really taking advantage of being able to play as a dev now that it's been added in. I know MAW is sort of an option but RIPW seems like the definitive option. It's sort of a tough company to play as though because its heavily pop based when most of your workers have no pop, and youre stick doing monthly events. Btw, I ran a test sim and SWF called up like 3 people in the span of 2 years, none of them anywhere close to when you start the game. A lot of the profiles hint at wrestlers being called up soon but clearly the AI doesnt give a shit about flavor text. I ran two shows. First one got messed up because I forgot to add a storytelling match. Obviously mostly following the starting storylines. I started RIPW Uprising (grabbing the SWF Uprising logo) on WrestleWorld and Im hoping that with a UC in charge, I can encourage SWF to call up more people. Goal will be to hard push whoever is on top. I dont like using veterans to build up names but in a pop centric promotion and as the child company of SWF, I dont see why not. First wrestler Im bringing in is Java. The goal is to build up my headliner until they get called up then have them put someone over as they leave to transfer a bit of pop. I dont trust SWF so I imagine most of the guys I elevate will end up squandered. Also obviously fearful that SWF will run out of roster space and just not bother calling anyone up. Right now, Deever Arnold is arguably the best worker in the company but Im partial to Hellion so I'll be keeping him dominant over the company until someone decides to take him away from me. Looking forward to being able to do long form stories thanks to the addition of Uprising now. Should be a fun game. Oh, Ive also made all my event tickets free. And ticked everything on backstage. I'm just going to presume SWF can handle my expenses. To be honest, I hope to eventually get NXT tier and to just be stealing anyone that's available. This upcoming PPV is March to Victory which means we'll be hosting a tournament on Uprising up till the PPV. Contenders: Bryan "Do It!" Jewett Deever "Rampage" Arnold "The Specimen" Forrest Ratzolf "Dr. Funkenstein" K.P. Avatar "Lone Star" Samson Sharpe Son of Vengeance "Wild" Willy LaRoux "Double Z" Zharnel Zephaniah Winner headlines Ultimate Showdown for the RIPW Championship.
  22. Did not realize you had a thread. This looks absolutely awesome and is my favorite sort of thread to read on here. I'll be actively following this for sure. I hope the transition to 20 isnt too shaky for you
  23. I dont think you're likely to have a world beater return but the way I see it is: if you're sending a worker on an excursion, you're likely playing a performance focused product. If that worker goes on an excursion, you're sort of expecting that they'll improved a decent enough amount. When you bring them back, you should see a worthwhile improvement in how well they perform compared to last time because those changes will look more pronounced in a company that focuses on performance. When they return, give them their big return against an equally big name and try to capitalize on the combination of their skill gain + the fact that they're facing a popular worker and arguably on a bigger Japanese stage now, to continue that elevation. At the end of the day, one would have to have several attempts at an excursion return to demonstrate whether the game feasibly executes it or not. In theory I dont see why it wouldnt, but I wouldnt be surprised if some of the game's inadequacies pop up if you actually try to do it.
  24. Art of Wrestling presents Respect and Tradition 2020 Location: Hamilton, Ontario Attendance: 100 Show Grade: 40 Mad Mike opened up Respect and Tradition 2020 by getting on the microphone to claim that he was impressed by both Americana Jr and Marty Tuxford's toughness over the last two shows. They stepped in handicap matches and are better for it. He wants to do the handicap match challenge as well. - 21 Hell in Americana (Americana Jr & Kate Avatar) defeated Mad Mike in a two on one handicap match that fell just short of 15 minutes. It was a technical based match and while Mike did his best, like Americana Jr, he succumbed to Kate Avatar's dangerous Hell Cat DDT and failed to do what the other two young lions couldn't. - 47 Original Lions (Kate Avatar & Mad Mike) defeated Marvel at Americana (Americana Jr & Marty Tuxford) in an eight minute tag team match where Kate Avatar managed to make Americana Jr regret he was teaming with the wrong lion this time around. Once again, Kate Avatar won the match for her side with her Hell Cat DDT, this time drilling Americana Jr, mask and all, in to the mat. - 40 Kate Avatar says that Marty Tuxford came out far too fast for her to make her challenge so she'll make it now. Next show she wants to do the handicap match challenge just like all the other young lions have done so far, and she wouldn't take no for an answer. - 40 Marty Tuxford defeated Mad Mike and Taylor Kidd in a triple threat main event match that showed Marty was clearly going to be able to hang with the AOW roster. Mad Mike once again fell to that dangerous World's Biggest Stomp finisher and there was no coming back from that. Unfortunately for the veteran Kidd, he was too late to try and break the count. - 43 Final Notes: I don't think we're too far off from making the next step as a wrestling company. After this upcoming show, we'll be looking to steadily increase the size of the roster. I think Marty Tuxford is probably the last worker to get a slow and steady introduction like this. Of course, referee Royce warned me that with WrestleWorld opening up, a lot of the boys up in ACPW might not want to sign for as cheaply as they used to. We'll have to re-evaluate our potential signings. He's also warned me that both him, Marty, & Americana won't hesitate to ask for a raise if they feel like they deserve it. This is fair, though I can't promise to keep them on if I find that there are cheaper workers available. I love everyone on the roster but we're also in quite a bit of debt and we're not going to give everything up out of a false sense of loyalty. -- Finances: -$6707 (-$2542 performance in February) Size: Insignificant (29th in the world) We've stepped our game up in February and lost half as much money. I think we're headed in the right direction. We're still pretty far from getting on WrestleWorld which just opened up, but I don't see why we can't be up there in the next couple of months. -- Out of Character Notes: Patch 1.02 is out and it has a few relevant things for this diary. Firstly, broadcasters are going to be ridiculously more expensive to open. Secondly, IPPV is going to be less profitable. No immediate effect on us, outside of delaying how long it'll take us to open a broadcaster. If the profitability remains the same then the patch wont really change our strategy much.
