1. Thanks, Blodyxe!
Just an update on the dynasty. As I mentioned a few days ago, I've been under the weather and that's why I haven't posted any new shows. Unfortunately, by "under the weather" I mean I seem to have contracted Covid-19. But not just me, as my lovely wife, my father, my sister, my nephew, my brother and his girlfriend, and my brother-in-law all have it as well. Fortunately, my symptoms have been mild so far, though definitely still unpleasant, with a dry cough that comes and goes and a lack of appetite/nausea being my most frequent symptoms. My wife's had it worse, with a consistent sore throat, loss of taste and smell, and some pretty bad nasal congestion. My dad's probably had it the worst, which isn't a surprise given that he recently turned 65 and had lots of health issues to begin with. Basically, I've just got so much on my mind that I can't even concentrate long enough to post shows that are already finished. Hopefully, we can all get past this and make a timely recovery and I can get back to posting this dynasty as I intended. I'd appreciate it if anyone reading this can keep my family and myself, and anyone else currently suffering from this awful virus, in your thoughts and prayers.
 2. The Bushwhackers could have been so much more in the WWF had they been treated seriously by McMahon and company from the start. Yeah, Ivory had actually been around for quite a while by this point, but at the same time, she's still pretty raw in the ring. I'll probably use her mostly as a valet to start, slowly transitioning her into a full-time in-ring role as she improves in developmental.
I'll try to have the updated prediction contest standings posted later tonight or in the morning as I'm a bit "under the weather" right now.
 3. WWF TV for Week 4, September 1991 WWF Saturday Night's Main Event: Backlash Predictions Card:
 4. Possibly. The problem with Sherri is keeping her clean outside of the ring.
 5. Yup. Ideally, I probably should have held off on starting the division with so few options. Luckily though, with the save taking place in an era where most tv episodes were top-to-bottom squash matches, I should be able to hide that initial lack of talent a bit easier.
 6. That's a fair point and makes perfect sense, Genox. Unfortunately, due to a lack of competent female workers available to me right now, I've got to be really careful how I book the division if I want it to last long-term. Now, that in and of itself doesn't negate your point, but I can't really explain why I went the way I did without spoiling upcoming events. I hope that makes sense and doesn't seem like too much of a cop-out. Thanks, Blodyxe, I just wish I'd had room for Nakano's Battle Royal win on the main Summerslam show. Onita's great too, but a bit of an odd fit for '91 WWF. I know they had Tenryu and Kitao against Demolition at Wrestlemania 7 as part of their deal with SWS, but that was an odd fit as well. Hopefully, I can make it work.
 7. Important Note: This will be a continuation of my WWF 1991: I Don't Have a Catchy Name dynasty from the TEW 2016 Dynasty Forum. I've converted the 2016 save to 2020 and will pick up here where I left off there. Well, sort of. Instead of just linking potential readers to the 2016 dynasty and then starting this one where I ended that one, I've decided to post one show per day from that thread here, excluding weekends, until I'm back to where I was. That way, everything is in one convenient location, making it easier to follow for new readers, and I can just start posting the new shows seamlessly. This will also allow me to have a couple more months worth of new shows ready to go by the time I'm done reposting the older shows. Thanks!
 8. 1.) Suspire 2.) Envisage 3.) Aurora 4.) Sobriquet - I'm thinking this one's a bit flowery for what you had in mind, but I wanted to throw it in because I always liked the word. Basically it's just a fancier way of saying nickname.
 9. Me too! And the best ELO song, just in case anyone was wondering, is Showdown. But on topic, I'd never heard of ELO rankings before this post. Upon looking it up though, it's definitely an interesting concept. I've actually been pondering starting up a sports-based save using rankings for the wrestlers, and if I do I may consider implementing something similar. So thanks for making this topic!
 10. What's the best "lucky dip" anyone has gotten for user talent points? I'm starting a CZCW game and got these for my user character: That's 53 combined points out of a possible 60, easily beating the highest I'd seen before this of 43.
 11. Definitely hiring more workers than I could ever dream of using in a worthwhile manner.
 12.
I hate to do it, especially considering I already have the entire month of March TV and COC XV ready to post, but I'm gonna call an end to this dynasty. And as tempting as it is, I'm not gonna write a long post detailing the various reasons for it. I'll simply summarize by saying that I'm just not "feeling it" with this save. And with dynasties being as much work as they are to write and post, there's just no incentive to keep one going if you're not really enjoying the save associated with it.

I may or may not decide to do another dynasty at some point in the future, but if I do it'll probably be a C-Verse save with CZCW. They're my favorite in the C-Verse and my save with them in TEW 2013 is what really started my love of the TEW series.

So, many thanks to everyone who followed along and participated, it was greatly appreciated!

I could've had March TV posted today, but since I'm basically booking all of March TV, COC XV, and all of April TV as one long buildup to Battlebowl with all the qualifying matches, it's taken me a bit longer than it generally will under the new format to get everything lined up how I want it. But if nothing goes wrong or comes up, I hope the upcoming posting schedule will look something like this:

Wednesday, September 23: All of March TV and Clash of the Champions XV predictions card

Thursday, September 24: Clash of the Champions XV

Friday, September 25: All of April TV and Battlebowl predictions card

Monday, September 28th or Tuesday, September 29th: Battlebowl

 15. I know I said I wouldn't post shows after 6 PM EST, but I'm making an exception here because I've been having some trouble with the html for this post since well before 6 and would have otherwise had it up before then.
Prediction contest standings after Clash of the Champions XIV: Element - 26 points Jaysin - 25 points Satyr24 - 24 points Gorilla Monsoon - 22 points The_Monk - 20 points Trevor Belmont- 19 points angeldelayette - 18 points Munit - 15 points joshbrady91 - 13 points ReggieLove - 12 points Stannis1 - 5 points Levinux - 3 points bonnie - 1 point KnowYourEnemy - 1 point Great job by The Monk in predicting the double count out between Vader and his mystery opponent! Reminder that this round of the prediction contest will run through Clash of the Champions in March. Thanks so much to everyone for reading, predicting and commenting!
 16. Yeah, you've made that pretty clear! If not for the stipulation I made for this diary about not hiring WWF guys it might have been him. He just re-signed with WWF a few weeks ago and I would definitely have signed him under normal circumstances. Thanks for predicting again Satyr! Thanks for predicting again, Element! Vader vs. Cactus Jack was one of my favorite WCW feuds from the early 90s! P.S. If anyone else wants to get in on the predictions now's the time, as Clash of the Champions XIV should be up sometime tomorrow.
 17. Thanks for the heads up Gorilla! Not sure how I missed that. I'm also not sure how missed the fact that I'd accidentally left Flair vs. El Gigante from Superbrawl on this COC card. They've both been fixed now.
 18. Top 5 In-ring Performances for this months television: Stan Hansen - 95 vs. Hector Guerrero - February 16th episode of WCW Saturday Night Sting - 94 w/ Lex Luger vs. Fabulous Freebirds - February 23rd episode of WCW Saturday Night Ricky Steamboat - 91 vs. Barry Houston - February 2nd episode of WCW Saturday Night Ricky Steamboat - 88 vs. Rip Rogers - February 17th episode of WCW Main Event Sting - 83 vs. Kevin Sullivan - February 9th episode of WCW Saturday Night Chemistry discoveries for the month: - Sting and Kevin Sullivan don't click at all, and it made their match on the February 9th episode of Saturday Night awkward. - Stan Hansen and Hector Guerrero have excellent chemistry as opponents. - Lex Luger and Sting have great chemistry as partners. Duh! New protege relationships for the month: - None. Worker comments/promises for the month: - Ricky Steamboat offered to put over El Gigante. The offer is good for 3 matches over 5 months. - Sid thinks Dick Slater is a waste of time, claiming he doesn't connect with the fans. Other notes for the month: - For this time period I wasn't sure about the "ass whoopin'" line from Austin on the February 2nd episode of WCW Saturday Night, but I figured they could've just bleeped it anyway since the show was taped. - Terrance Taylor suffered an Iliolumbar Ligament Sprain in his match with Chavo Guerrero on the February 17th episode of Main Event. His match with Tommy Rich for Clash of the Champions XIV is still on though, as he'll be back in six days. - Dick Murdoch turned up so drunk to the February 23rd WCW Saturday Night taping that he had to be sent home as he was in no condition to work. I fined him as this was his first offense, although I kinda doubt it will be his last given his "Scumbag" personality trait and the fact that he's a drinker. He was very unhappy, but his partner Dick Slater, Barry Windham, Dusty Rhodes and Terry Funk were elated with my decision. - The 89 I scored for the February 23rd episode of WCW Saturday Night's is now my highest show grade of the save so far. The 87 match grade for the Sting/Luger vs. Fabulous Freebirds main event from that show is now my second highest match grade of the save. - Jim Cornette seems to be clique building, having forged an alliance between Kevin Sullvian and Jim Ross, who now have a strong friendship. - The Jim Ross and Jim Cornette segment on the February 23rd Saturday Night where they confirm a major announcement for Clash of the Champions regarding the crowning of the first ever WCW World Champion, was my first 100 rated angle or match of the save. - Brad Armstrong's new finisher the Strongarm Stretch is basically just the Crippler Crossface. Final Prediction contest standings before Clash of the Champions XIV: Element - 22 points Satyr24 - 20 points Jaysin - 19 points Trevor Belmont- 19 points angeldelayette - 18 points Gorilla Monsoon - 17 points Munit - 15 points The_Monk - 15 points joshbrady91 - 13 points ReggieLove - 12 points Stannis1 - 5 points Levinux - 3 points bonnie - 1 point KnowYourEnemy - 1 point This "round" of the prediction contest will end after Clash of the Champions XV in March. 19. Thanks, guys. I appreciate the words of encouragement! And from the work I've done updating my previous month's shows, and what I've done for the February shows so far, I can now say with certainty that this diary is gonna move a lot faster with this new format. I can easily see myself getting through an entire in-game year every 2 or 3 months. And with that said, the entire month of February TV and a predictions card for Clash of the Champions XIV should be posted tomorrow!
 20. I was planning on posting February, Week 2's WCW Saturday Night and WCW Main Event today but there's been a change of plans. I've decided that before this diary goes any further I'm going to implement a change in format for weekly television. Instead of posting one week of television at a time, I'll be borrowing from The Final Countdown's excellent Heart and Soul diary from 2016, and posting an entire month of television programming at a time in a single post. With this change, the weekly television programming will lose all wrestler photos for matches and angles. This is a tough pill to swallow as I really do like the way shows look with the worker photos, but this will save me tons of time and energy that I hope will allow me to advance the game at a much faster pace. I really enjoyed writing my last diary for TEW 2016, but it took me roughly seven real world months to advance just 11 months in the game. Sure, I had to take a couple multi-week breaks for personal reasons during that seven months, but that's still an absurd amount of time for so little overall progress. Proceeding this way also means I'll have to drop the prediction contest for weekly television episodes. However, I will still post the prediction contests for PPV and Clash of the Champions shows. Really though, the weekly television matches tend to be very predictable anyway and some weeks there aren't even enough prediction worthy matches to bother in the first place. Besides, I think it's a lot easier for readers who want to predict to keep up with one round of predictions per in-game month than five. Note: Any predictions made for the February, Week 2 card I posted a few days ago will still be counted, so feel free to give that a shot if you're interested. I'm also making one more change to the diary that's unrelated to the format change. I will no longer be limiting myself to only posting shows on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This sounded like a good idea on paper, but why limit myself if the next show/s is ready earlier than expected? This would just be one more thing slowing down my overall progress with the diary. I still won't post shows on the weekend though, and my originally stated intention to not post shows past 6 pm EST still stands. If a show/s hasn't been posted by that time, then you can be sure that it'll be at least the next weekday before it's up. Finally, it's gonna take me a few days to get the new format just to my liking, and a few more days to update the previous shows in the diary to that new format, so I probably won't be ready to continue the diary until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. I really hate to take a week long break after I just went 11 days between January, Week 4 TV and Superbrawl, but it'll be a lot easier to change this now than it will later. Hopefully anyone following along and or commenting/predicting will stick around! P.S. Sorry for writing a book on this guys! It was not my intention, but that's just my nature with these types of things.
