I have them running 4 tapings at once and neither my Main or Minor singles titles are being defended at all. Meanwhile, my tag titles are defended once during the recordings. All 3 have an Often on TV frequency and Often on Events.<p> </p><p> Just looked and neither singles title has been defended on PPVs either despite often frequency. I copied the TCW company. I assigned champions after the 2nd set of tapings didn't include a singles title match and still not defended. I even changed the AI booking style from Old School Western to basic Singles and Tag to see if that would help and still nothing.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This sounds like a bug. I've seen this happen with alliance titles that are set to 'often' or 'where possible' but just figured it's because the AI is wonky.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="SauceManFresh" data-cite="SauceManFresh" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47811" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Not sure if anyone else has posted this or if I should put in the Tech Support forum, but has anyone else noticed that Developmental workers gain pop a lot quicker than main roster guys? I'm playing as SWF and gave myself a network and gave RIPW air time on the network, I now have 4 guys (Logan Wolfsbaine, Austin Smooth and two others I can't remember) who went from single digit pop to 25-40 across the board in 3 months. Meanwhile guys that were on the main roster (Ernest Youngman, Davis Wayne Newton) have gone up about maybe 10 points in the same time frame, while constantly getting wins and a few wins over guys with 40-55 pop.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This sounds like the game is treating the developmental guys as if they were on the main roster. It's been common (since what, TEW13?) for low pop people to be given a bit of a boost, with regard to popularity gain, when they join a large company. It brings them inline with people at/near the bottom of the card. If your unimportant people average 30 popularity and some guy comes in with 8 popularity, it'll give a little jump to get them to the mid-20s quickly so they'll be somewhat useful. That sounds like a bug OR a great feature to make developmental workers instantly useful (though the "downside" is it'll probably make the dev promotion shoot up in size really quickly).</p>

(The emphasized part is an assumption on my part since I have one person on my roster who has more respect but she doesn't preside over Wrestler's Court (Saeko Hiroyuki has 92 respect but J.Ro and her 90 respect is the judge).)</p>

Did they hit Medium or are they doing that at Small?</p>
  5. Does anyone have a rerender for Mercedes Gimenez? Looked on all the sources (Dropbox, MEGA, booru) and didn't see one.
  6. TEW16's Personality Plus was very binary. A positive influence was a positive influence, a negative influence was a negative influence. TEW20 doesn't work that way. There are shades of gray in this game. For example, there are some personalities that are mildly negative unless they're happy. There are some neutral personalities that become really negative when they're unhappy. There are some personalities where negative effects are boosted and positive effects are dampened (Gloomy, etc). Go through the editor and read each personality's pluses and minuses and change your converted workers accordingly.
  7. Not exactly true. You can change backgrounds to the promotion's logo if the picture in question is saved in .gif form. FINisher has a mod with the default pictures in that format so that a worker's picture will have the background of the promotion s/he works for.
  8. You don't get them to hire people. If you created the company via the Investments area, you have to hire their people. It's total control. You decide who every person on their roster will be. If you want 'fire and forget', talk to an existing promotion and have them agree to take your developmental workers.
  9. Personal news stories Is there a setting by which we can choose what types of stories appear in the 'recent news headlines' section of a worker's profile? I've had two 'scumbag Mark Carnie' stories pop up but there's nothing in his recent news headlines section. It seems like it only records employment changes (signed, re-signed, etc). If someone gets busted for drugs and you weren't actively watching that person (shortlist, etc), how would you know before you spend thousands of dollars testing them?
  10. C-Verse. Eventuaally (probably next year or so), I'll get around to grabbing a Fleisch or TheWho RW mod and customizing it but even then, I spend the vast majority of my time with the C-Verse.
  11. But how does this work with regard to worker skill-up chance? Impact on show rating is of little consequence with the right angle focus (highlights) but if running those short angles is preventing workers from having the opportunity to improve, then it would make more sense to run the angle a little longer to counter that. Just as a station wagon isn't the same as a 2 door coupe (but they're both cars), all SE products are not created equal. USPW is, I believe, Family Friendly SE and it makes perfect sense to condense everything because children don't tend to have long attention spans. However, Classic SE doesn't have those restrictions (at least with regard to angles). So if you're running USPW and change the product to 'classic', that would align the promotion more to your liking. If Horace has 95 popularity in an area and Hulk has 90 popularity in that area and a show is held there then yes, Horace will put more butts in seats than Hulk. The problem is, with Hulk's Star Quality, he'll get to that 90 popularity a helluva lot faster and with much less effort (on the part of the booker) than Horace.
  12. Look at your product. There is something your fans are looking for that those workers do not have. It might be low Basics, it might be low Brawling, it might be low Technical or Aerial. The fans don't want to see those workers because (in their eyes) those workers are deficient in some way.

  14. No. You need to script them every time, in the individual angle.
  15. Small. I don't know when/if AI promotions start doing it (don't care about AI promotions tbh) but players can do it starting at Small. If it's done at the database level, the worker's wage is what their market value is. If done during gameplay, the in-ring worker will demand $15,000 a month to balance the fact that they won't be able to ask for pay increases (assuming you're adding an ironclad clause as well). Non-wrestlers will ask for more, typically.
  16. Little Miss Perfect is my midcard champ and 'recognizable'. Brazzle is a 'star'. So it'll just be a simple matter of adding Brazzle to LMP's existing storyline (with Modesty Pador), having Brazzle run-in to save Modesty from a post-match beatdown leading to a match where Brazzle beats LMP for the title, holds it for a bit and then drops it back to her (and then LMP will drop it to Modesty). I could boost two workers (LMP and Modesty) for the price of going over one (not clean though).
  17. <p>My first vet promise of this save!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="UgwyAhj.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/UgwyAhj.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  18. Might need a name for a new stable that beats the low hanging fruit I'm thinking of. It's a babyface stable based around super heroes: Power Girl (leader) Aud Valkyrie (Deputy) Geena the Warrior Princess (Deputy) Darkness Cat (Member) Velvet Suarez (Heir) Electric Dreamer (Member) Mystery Pink (Member) Estrella Blanca (Member) Joanna Silver (Lackey) Gypsy Rose (Lackey) The obvious names that come to mind are Justice League, Justice Society, Super Powers, Super Friends, and so on. I'm trying to think of something new.

Thank you very much.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Sure! The hit isn't that bad, really. You can still produce 100 rated angles, even with that note. Besides, there are some people you <strong><em>do not want</em></strong> to give a live mic to.</p>
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Zero" data-cite="Zero" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47568" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>"Overwhelmed by manager" - How do I fix this</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You don't. It's one of those random occurrences that are typically determined during the save's initial rolls (when you click 'create save'). It even happens with those who are preset to have managers (at the database level). </p><p> </p><p> The only real way to "fix" it is to never give that worker a manager during that save.</p>
  21. And the Neptune Twins have to be "reactivated" at the database level as they start as 'left the business'.
  22. You can "fix" it by putting the workers in highly rated angles. No, it doesn't matter what the momentum is of people who don't appear onscreen in their primary role.
  23. Getting my first save under way and I notice a couple things I do that might be different. I create an entire set of matches where I reduce the non-wrestling match time to 1 minute, mainly because it's redundant. The things covered by non-wrestling match time are angles I already book (i.e. hype angles before matches that allow for the ring to be serviced, entrances, etc). In my mind, anything that happens outside of 'bell to bell' is an angle so that's how I book it. I love me some stables. Great way to bring up young talent by pairing them with more established names in a way that makes sense. So I start creating new stables within the first week of the save, with plot points that explain and support their formation. Authority figures that take a dislike to some bright young prospect. It's a way to justify having a particular young worker appear on (nearly) every show. Either the authority punishes them by putting them in gauntlet matches or handicap matches or they have to fight someone particularly nasty who is further up the card. Like in my first save, Black Diamond is going to fall afoul of Commissioner Bomb and after several gauntlet matches and a few handicap matches, is going to eventually be placed in a match against Emma May, who will hurt her really bad. Then I can run sympathy angles replaying the incident.
