I ended up making things work with the one I had. If you're interested in seeing the results, I'm posting them over on the alt thread.

Two more videos with three new introductions. The "dimensional rift" gimmick is great for being able to bring in completely ridiculous characters. Fro & Zippy are both pretty low-pop in my home region, can talk, and are good at Gimmicky/Cartoonish, so that's how they ended up being picked for my Star Wars gimmick rivalry. And the alts I made for them ended up being some of my favorite things I've ever made, so that's a bonus.

This guy qualify? Incredible in-ring skills and stamina, good on the mic, decent enough look. His fundamentals are a little weak, but these are rookies, there's plenty of room to improve. There's a fair number of decent rookies I saw scrolling through, but that was the best I could find. You have to remember what you're judging them against. A lot of the skills that might be low can be easily improved just by putting them in matches for a year or so.

Another video update with three new wrestlers. I have a bit more written up, but I'm trying to make some alts firsts. The second wrestler and first tag team on TAW's roster has been announced! Damian Blackheart (aka Aldous Blackfriar) and his Minions (the Night Terrors, Moroi was behind the camera). These guys will be incredibly fun to lean into the ridiculously-over-the-top gimmick of.

Does anyone have a good Fro Sure pic? It's literally impossible to search on the forums, because "fro" is too short and "sure" is too common, I guess. I'm currently using this one: It's good, but it's not very easy to edit to make an alt. Ideally, I'd like one where he isn't wearing anything and he has a more conventional pose.

He holds up his paper, pulls off his signature sunglasses, and squints at it for a few seconds. He shoots a noncommittal glance over his shoulder and immediately recoils, knocking over the stack of papers on his desk and scattering it across the floor. In a surprisingly athletic move for the non-athlete, Casey vaults over the desk and crouches behind it, peering at the glowing ball. At this point, it’s stabilized (except for the pulsing) at a size of about a foot and a half in diameter. He spends a long moment staring at it, eyes wide, mouth agape, before picking up a paper off the floor, crumpling it into a ball, and tossing it toward the sphere. As it passes through, there’s an odd whooshing sound, and it doesn’t come out the other side. Just thought I'd re-up this request since it's been a few days and we're on a new page now.

Does anyone have any general advice for thinking of new names for people if you're playing the kind of company that would do that? I have about 30 people, and while some of them just come to me right away, a lot of them I totally blank on.

Could you put a suit on Phoenix I? He's retired at the start of the game and the default render has one.

Jase Cole and Christopher Lister's blatant Star Wars-ripoff alternate renders seemed really fun to me in a game I'm starting, but then I actually looked at the characters in game, and they're old, Australian, and honestly not all that great. Who else in the CVerse do you think could pull off a gimmick like that semi-seriously?

I haven't tested this specific scenario, but I know from a YouTube series I watched that if your user character holds an alliance title, they can be booked by AI companies without it breaking anything, so I would guess it's probably fine. You could always just copy the save game and test it there.

Rookie CVerse Two of a Kind - Royal Flush Wrestling by scapino1974 Opened it a few days ago but I finally got around to reading it through, and it's a blast. Really a good example of a narrative-focused diary.

When I'm filling out my shortlist at the start of a game, I usually go through several different filters looking for people, and I can't keep up with who I have and haven't added. An ability to filter only the people who aren't shortlisted would reduce a lot of annoyance here.

I'd love it if someone could make a logo for my custom company, Tales of Adventure Wrestling (TAW). It's a Comic Book Dark product, so something comic-book-y would be great, but other than that, I don't have anything specific in mind.

Looking for some rules for Tales of Adventure Wrestling (TAW), a new Comic Book Dark company in CVerse 2020. My UC is a custom-made in-universe minor celebrity, with a bit of pop and good entertainment skills, but not a wrestler. I'm using a strict face/heel divide, managers and stables if I can afford that many workers, and integrated wrestling. So far, I've decided that anyone I hire for an on-screen role must have at least 50 Charisma and at least 70 in one of SQ, SA, or Menace.

I was just thinking about this yesterday from the cash-in standpoint. Building it as an angle isn't terrible, but it means it's not counted as a match for win-loss and stuff. One gimmicky way of doing it I thought of was making it a post-show match, but that's an obvious workaround that just feels wrong. And making it a triple-threat works if you want to do that, but it's only happened a few times in real life (maybe only once, I haven't paid close attention the past few years). Most of the time it's its own match.

I used an incredible render I found in the CVerse Rerender thread to create a Santa Claus character, and I'm struggling to think of a good finisher. Both name and the actual move. It's not that I can't think of anything at all, it's just that I know there's a great joke or pun out there, and I can't think of any.

This is something that definitely could be much clearer. You edit someone's character by clicking their name in the roster screen. Where it says "__ is a __ year old __ __ __ wrestler".
