  1. A source of mild confusion for me: The handbook entry for Hardcore says it doesn't generally factor into non-hardcore matches at all. But several products have the note "The Hardcore skill will not be used in regular match calculations". So which is it? Can it generally be used as a normal core skill or not?
  2. Are you already looking at the screen where you pick the booker? It filters automatically for if they have any booking skill, and then that gets put at the top of the stats list. You still have to scroll through, but at least you can just use the arrow keys and go through quickly.
  3. No problem! Like I said, I like the mod and I want it to be the best it can be. One thing that might help you debug in the future if you didn't already know: There's a remote assistance code, "themorethemerrier", that makes it so all yet-to-open companies automatically open the next month. That's what I used to look at it. And since I want to give some specific praise: I really like some of the cinematic matches the mod adds. I love the idea of cinematic matches in certain products, but I'm not that great of thinking of fun ideas for them. The Pirate Battle Royal is especially cool.
  4. Just want to say before I jump into this that I do love the mod, and there's a lot of really cool stuff there. That said, you have been open to feedback, so I thought I'd give my thoughts. Almost every company has more money than I'd give them, but for the most part, I can just call that a design choice. But there are a few where the numbers are very weird. Film Noir Wrestling has $11,000,000 despite only having 13 pop. Titan Wrestling Federation has $30,000,000 million despite being a Small company with only 42 pop. American Gold Wrestling has a lot, but it says it's well-funded, so that's fair enough. On the other hand, Punk Metal Wrestling has way too little money. Medium sized, 62 pop across a whole region, and only $230,000. Bushido League Wrestling is marked as already having opened. Given the premise of the mod and the fact it has no workers, I imagine that's an error. Radical Xtreme Wrestling has its popularity in South West instead of Wales. Miami Beach Wrestling has only 1 pop, which I can't imagine is correct. Iron Bear Wrestling has 90 pop in Russia, which is just insane. That was probably intentional, but there's no way they can possibly live up to that. There's literally no one in the world with 70+ pop in Russia, and the highest pop of any active wrestler who isn't already signed to an exclusive contract is 35.
  5. I noticed that Aaron Andrews has a hard-set contract of $80,000 a month, which is much less than he's worth and not even the highest-paid wrestler on the TCW roster. I'm wondering if this was a conscious decision, or if he was originally paid a relatively high amount, but it was made weird by pay rebalancing. For reference, when I removed that preset, he's paid about $130,000 a month.
  6. Well, do child companies already respect the roles given to workers in their contracts? If they do, then you can just give them the "Future Main Eventer", "Backbone", or "Developing" roles when you're negotiating with them, and the company should automatically use them a lot.
  7. Another question. Exactly how much of a cost reduction do you get for production costs with block taping? The handbook says "massively reduced", but doesn't give numbers.
  8. Since B-shows affect worker popularity but not company popularity, does that mean that things that hurt the show grade (using unpopular workers too much, failing to advance storylines, not meeting "fans expect one match of X aim" goals, bad match/angle ratio) don't matter at all for B-shows? I'm thinking about creating a "showcase" type B-show for my otherwise entertainment-focused company, and I want to know if I have to worry about match ratio.
  9. A quick search didn't come up with anything for this (one for the real world, but not CVerse). Are there any mods that include Other TV shows? I think it's a fun concept, but in the default database, it's pretty much just other sports.
  10. Thanks a lot! If you did want to check for hidden attributes, you can create a backup of the save and use the "allseeingi" cheat code.
  11. This may be an obvious question, but can company owners be affected by traits like Musician and TV Actor? I know that player characters can't ever do anything with them, but I don't know about non-player owners.
  12. I don't have a ton of knowledge of the small hardcore companies, so I was mostly picking kinda at random just to get some different products there. I'll look at it.
  13. I'm not good at thinking of catchy names, but one rule that can be used in pretty much any RW game where you play a custom company is "no signing WWE alumni for the first year after they leave". What's your product, by the way? Would probably help a bit.
  14. "Import Data" on the Options screen. First column, fifth one down.
  15. I know what the joke you're making is, but the thing that sticks out to me is that he's Ripped Very Small. Very Small is generally below 140 lb, so to also be Ripped, he may actually be a child.
  16. I tested it, and you only get a dirt sheet note for one of the attributes. That doesn't necessarily mean they don't stack, but it's most likely the case.
  17. I don't know if anyone would be able to know this besides Adam, but do the Gymnastic Background and Stud Athlete attributes have any effect if applied mid-game, or do they only come into play during game creation?
  18. I've been thinking a bit about the toxicity mechanic, and I have a few random ideas related to it: I think certain scandals should never fully go away. Some of them, it's fine, but for others, I think there should be an attribute along the lines of "Lingering Toxicity" or somesuch that essentially makes them always have a mild negative effect, especially for family-friendly companies. I can't think of good names for it, but something related to adult entertainment would make sense. Maybe two levels. One for someone who was a stripper or posed nude for Playboy, OnlyFans, etc, and one for full-blown porn stars. This would also function kind of like being toxic, but it would only apply to certain products. So, for example, an Attitude Entertainment company would be OK with the first but not the second, an Xtreme Adult Filth company would be fine with either, and a Family-Friendly Pro Wrestling company wouldn't be OK with either. That could also have a "Former" version.
  19. Really random question. I'm not actually doing a RTG, but I am using the Mystery Box. But I've added a few new entries, and I was wondering if anyone can think of good names for them. 1) Gain a Simmering Tension relationship with a random member of your roster. If you roll this again, add a Hatred relationship and you must fire them. 2) Gain +5 to Star Quality and +10 to Power. Add the Bodybuilder attribute. 3) Gain +5 to Star Quality and +10 between Athleticism and Toughness. Add the Fitness Fanatic attribute. 4) Gain +10 to Charisma. Add the Creative attribute. If you roll this again, add Very Creative, and then Creative Dynamo.
  20. I've been working on tweaking the CVerse database for a game, and I was wondering if anyone's put thoughts into which default workers should be given attributes that were added after the game published. A list of said attributes: What's My Line? - Much higher chance of penalty when unscripted Tales From The Script - Higher chance of penalty when unscripted Improv Training - Higher chance of bonus when unscripted Shoots From The Lip - Much higher chance of bonus when unscripted Undemanding - Never complains about being left off of shows Brittle Bones - Injuries are more likely to be serious Rubber Bones - Injuries are less likely to be serious Can't Stay Away - Easier to talk out of retirement Definitive Style - Will never change styles Notable Referee - Bonus or penalty from referee skills is increased It's Who You Know - Will always agree to put over worker they have a good relationship with Golden Mane - Will never agree to be shaved Control Freak - When they own a company, more likely to take over as booker and will never voluntarily give up power Faithful - Much lower chance to cheat on or with someone, more stable romances Desireless - Will not start new romances Life Long Underdog - Hurt less by losing to people bigger than them, but cannot use Dominate or Keep Strong Talent Spotter - More likely to offer to put over younger workers That Doesn't Work for Me, Brother - Will never offer and always refuse to put over younger workers Agent Of The Old School - Bonus when agenting 1v1 or 2v2 Regular, Work The Crowd, or Lift The Crowd matches that go 10+ minutes Agent Of Tag Teams - Bonus when agenting straight tag and trios matches Agent Of Rumbles - Bonus when agenting battle royals with 30+ participants that go 45+ minutes Agent Of Epics - Bonus when agenting Steal The Show, Epic, or Once In A Lifetime matches that go 30+ minutes Agent Of Stories - Bonus when agenting Story Telling matches Agent Of Chaos - Bonus when agenting Wild Brawl, Mayhem, Car Crash, Hardcore, or Deathmatch matches Agent Of Comedy - Bonus when agenting Comedy matches Voice Of Epics - Bonus when commentating Steal The Show, Epic, or Once In A Lifetime matches that go 30+ minutes Voice Of Stories - Bonus when commentating Story Telling matches Voice Of Chaos - Bonus when commentating Wild Brawl, Mayhem, Car Crash, Hardcore, or Deathmatch matches Voice Of Comedy - Bonus when commentating Comedy matches Voice Of Sleaze - Bonus when commentating Eye Candy matches Sorry for the wall of text, but I wanted to make sure there's proper context.
  21. Two custom companies I'd love to see logos for. Request: Tales of Adventure Wrestling (TAW) JPG/Gif: JPG Colors to use/avoid: Anything is fine Notes: It should look like it's comic-book-style. Edit: Totally forgot I actually got a graphic for this when I was going to play with it a while ago. Request: Federación de Lucha Libre Sangrienta (FLLS) JPG/Gif: JPG Colors to use/avoid: Red letters that preferably look like blood ("Sangrienta" means "bloody" if you didn't know. It's a Deathmatch Lucha Libre company.) Notes: Just that.
  22. I like all of these except for the ZEN one, since I just find it totally unrealistic, even if the game allows you to. Eventually maybe. The one thing I'd like to clarify is what exactly the last one means. Is it something like "Lightweight or lower and has a style of Luchador, High Flyer, Technician Flyer, or Daredevil"?
  23. There's also a hard cap to how high your popularity can get if your audience is very small in a region. I don't know the exact parameters, but you'll eventually reach the point where it will say something along the lines of "You would have increased in popularity in X regions, but you were limited by your audience size." That doesn't apply to the places where you run the actual shows, but it does apply to all forms of broadcasting. The only way to move past it is to have a bigger broadcaster.
