  1. I just take the hit on those matches because they're not the most important. Never use it during the main or semi main event but use it to advance stories I'm telling at times
  2. <p>Just ran Hardcore Halloween which is my 2nd biggest show of the year after Welcome to the Coastal Zone. Two biggest matches were rematches from that show with the main event seeing American Flash retain his title against Frankie Perez in an incredible 30 minute Iron-Man match while in the semi main event Hugh De Aske reclaimed his Extreme title from Heartbreaker. The plan was for Heartbreaker to then win it back in a blow off third match between the two but he was poached by EILL so this was his last appearance.</p><p> </p><p> In the opener, the former tag team partners of Frankie-Boy Fernandes and California Love machine (who has been repackaged as California Death Machine) faced off and CDM picked up the win when a "fan" (Sweet Tabitha) jumped the guardrail and onto the apron to distract Frankie. The plan in the end is to make Frankie a main eventer but I'm loving the CDM character and adding Tabitha will just help him get better.</p><p> </p><p> Also on the card, Nathaniel Ca$ino teamed with The Inner City Express for the first time after helping them win the tag titles from Notorious the month before. Following the match, they introduced themselves as Money vs Everyone (name stolen from Riptide irl) and I really love them as a stable.</p><p> </p><p> Fuyuko Higa also beat Air Raid Syren while James Diaz beat up a few jobbers. Really fun show. Next show will be Pablo Rodriguez last as he has been signed by USPW so I will have him lose to Bradley Blaze who I'm thinking of bringing in full time. Also randomly, Dylan Sidle the road agent was also signed so I've brought in Sam Keith to replace him</p>
  3. <p>With the changes that happened with popularity/push it makes using COTT workers a lot more difficult if you don't like booking two unrecognizable talent against each other. One of the best things about the COTT is bringing in the talent from other companies for huge matches or tournaments and that becomes a lot more difficult if you want one of those guys to win.</p><p> </p><p> This may be different once the indie broadcaster takes off (I'm only 5 months in) but for now it's slightly underwhelming</p>
  4. If these matches aren't your main event then I don't really see why it would matter that much to be honest. In the end the only thing that matters most to the rating is your main event so a tag match that you haven't given long too not doing well isn't something to be that mad about. In the end, most Young Lion matches are pretty bad in comparison to the rest of the show so them getting a bad rating should be expected
  5. Hey, would anyone be able to make California Love Machine a bald edit? Had an awesome idea for it. Thanks in advance
  6. Seeing all the people getting into the C-verse through MAW makes me happy because I had the exact same route on the last game. Hope ya'll enjoy it as much as I did, It's a special company
  7. <p>My first Welcome to the Coastal Zone. Huge show and a huge success. Getting into the save huge already and getting invested in some of the wrestlers and the stories. Think the big money next year is in Fuyuko Higa becoming the first ever woman to hold the CZCW Title, maybe against Frankie-Boy Fernandes. Trying to build up a lot of the undercard right now with Skye Hermoso and Air Raid Syren looking like two of the biggest prospects for us right now as well as Ellie De Grazia who I have partnered with Higa:</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Yc882gw.jpeg" data-src="https://ibb.co/Yc882gw.jpeg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  8. I have this issue sort of. I get really invested in a midcarder or a midcard storyline and then try to promote it to the main event feud which then ends up becoming more of the same. Midcard allows you to do more wacky things and allows you to really explore while your main event needs to be more rigid unless you have no risk of losing pop on the show
  9. As i already exercised my two month playtime I've been planning out where I want to go and based on in ring performance I want to make American Flash my ace and the plan right now is for him to dethrone Frankie Perez at Welcome to the coastal zone to get revenge for last year. Only one person on the roster I'm looking to cut soon is Matt Sparrow who is going to put over Skye Hermoso on his way out. Really looking forward to this save overall
  10. I was considering going all in and doing a fully COTT save where I book all of them but with MAW becoming Dev and OLLIE seemingly taking a step back I was put off. Just doing CZCW now as they have a ton of potential
  11. Dumb question but is new workers generation on from the start? Because I dont see a start date in settings?
  12. With MAW becoming a dev company I'm really liking the look of CZCW as my main promotion this year. Trying to make them into a top company with an integrated womens dvision looks like it's going to be a fun challenge. What's everyone elses thoughts so far?
  13. Don't like that you can edit chemistry. feels a bit too "cheaty" for my liking if I'm being honest. Like most of the changes but not that
  14. Personally I think this change means I'm not going to touch MAW this year. Always loved MAW but being a developmental company isn't something I really feel like doing right now and especially being told what to do by them. Overall, I'm a bit sad to see the direction the COTT went as I thought it would have really pushed on
  15. Very similar to yours I actually started a company in 2017 where my user character was Cody Rhodes and I signed Dustin and Brandi and called the company Rhodes Championship Wrestling. I did also sign The Bucks at a point in that save as well. Pretty eerie to think about
  16. <p>Starting to get ridiculously hyped for the game now. First plans after taking a look around will hopefully be MAW (unless it's dead) but then I want to try and do a full COTT save which would be extremely difficult but rewarding as hell.</p><p> </p><p> Also, really interested to see how India will be implemented into the C-Verse as I feel that could be a great place to try and build up an entire scene in a long term save</p>
  17. I think I'm going to take up a huge task and try and book the entire Confederation of the Territories at the same time. As someone who has booked MAW in two incredible saves this year, it does get frustrating that I'm so much bigger than everyone but OLLIE so I think I would like to book all the companies in the territory at once

  20. This is a complete dream matchup. Good show man. I hated to see the end of NOTBPW save but this looks good already
  21. So Where it all begins again went down spectacularly. Jose Caballero defeated Marcos Pascual in a cage match to become Mid Atlantic American champion, George Wolfe won a 6 man ladder match to win the Ultimate Opportunity, The Traditionalists defeated Best Enemies to become Mid Atlantic Tag Team titles, Shozo Katoaka became one of the first people to topple Beneteau and El Mitico Jr made his return, answering the open challenge of Greg Barnett to pick up the victory. And then in the main event, in the best match in Mid Atlantic history Tommy Cornell Jr defeated Ricky Muscles to win his first ever singles title in the MAW Title in an incredible 97 A* matchup. However, following the match George Wolfe would turn heel and cash in his ultimate opportunity to win the MAW Title for the first time in his career. At Proving Ground Bowden Snoop would turn heel to join up with his mentor when he low blowed Tommy Cornell Jr and them two have been feuding ever since. Meanwhile, the Rip Chord Invitational was won by Shozo Katoaka who defeated Cornell Jr in the final in a fantastic face vs face match and the plan is for Shozo to be the one to end the reign of George Wolfe at Fan Festival. Then, at WIABA we will have Wolfe vs Cornell Jr and Shozo defending the MAW Title against either Johnny Helmsley or Jose Cruz. As for the American title, Jose has defended it three times so far and the plan right now is for him to defend it against the returning Felipe Caballero who has been out for 9 months with an injury. The Tag Titles most recently changed with The Bikerz ending the reign of The Traditionalists but the plan is for Overkill to win the title in a triple threat and then defend the titles in a fatal four way at the biggest show of the year. Edit: I got to stop making these posts because it seems people get hired straight after. SWF came in and signed both Austin Smooth and Nebo Bull which thankfully won't hurt that much as I was planning on writing Smooth out by the end of the year and Nebo Bull has been a perpetual upper midcarder for us and nothing more. SWF also signed one of our former wrestlers in Mutant so seems they are shaking up the roster a bit. Also, Burning Hammer has just gone out of business so I'm looking in bringing in American Elemental II and possibly have The Architect come back once more
