Mexico's Finest is leaning against the wall, arms crossed in front of his chest and not looking too happy. LatiNoFear and Hector Galindo are squatting down to the ground and shooting dice, while MexiCain is pacing left and right. MexiCain: "The hell, yo? We lost the tag titles and you just chillin', rollin' bones?" Galindo: "Relax, we'll get 'em back." MexiCain: "You shut yo mouth esse, you're the reason we lost the gold in the first place! You 'n' Finest were supposed to help us and you f**ked it up!" Galindo shoots up and within a split second, has MexiCain by the collar as a shoving contest begins, with LatiNoFear trying to play peacemaker. The ambient light is drowned by the shadows of two large men who show up to the scene. Their presence is enough to stop the fight and Los Guerilleros rally up to stand together against them. BB: "You n***az are lucky you lost those titles before we could get our rematch. D'you think we forgot?" Boneyard: "We still in the game. We out for gold." Boneyard points a finger to Galindo, then slowly towards Mexico's Finest. Boneyard: "We'll see yo b*tch asses in the ring next week." (Rating: 38) Back inside The Warehouse, Ice Cube's "Hello" hits the speakers and Busta Capp gets a hero's welcome as he returns to GSW, opening the main part of the show on a high note. Unfortunately, that's about all the high he's getting tonight: Henry completely no-sells his offence and fires back with some big hits and a powerbomb that rocks Busta, who rolls out of the ring to rethink his strategy. Capp returns with a chair and takes a swing, but Henry again no-sells it and answers with his Double-Handed Choke Bomb, on the chair. Instead of going for a cover though, Henry leaves the ring and introduces a table and some light tubes into the ring. This buys Capp enough time to recover, but he just can't get any proper offence in; Henry simply batters him with a bunch of items looking to completely destroy him, toying with the veteran for a few ultraviolent minutes, before he hits another Double-Handed Choke Bomb onto the shattered glass of the tubes, this time making the cover to win the match. (Rating: 34) Backstage, the Long Beach Crew are in the middle of a heated argument. Well, mostly on Aces' part, since Slick is his usual cool self. Slick: "Look, A... I got nothin' against you, but this sh*t ain't gonna work." Aces: "Ain't gonna work? Motherf*cker, we're THREE TIME tag team champions!" Slick: "That was then and now's now." Aces: "The hell's that supposed to mean, Slick?" Slick: "Means I've moved on, A. Won the American title, twice. You've been what, West Coast champion some four or five years ago?" Aces: "Cause I had to watch yo b*tch-ass, n***a! Every time I wasn't with you holding the tag titles, I had your back so you could remain champion!" Slick: "Well I'm not champion now, so that worked out fine, right? Sh*t, I beat yo ass at Game of Death, A. You... just ain't on my level, that's all." Aces: "Son of a!" Aces jumps Slick and a brawl between them ensues, as the camera retreats and fades out. (Rating: 51) Baker and Diamond come out first, well aware that the former is the underdog in this fight so they attack LaRue before she can make her way to the ring. This 2 on 1 situation triggers a crazy brawl in the audience until Foxxy manages to DDT Diamond onto the unprotected floor. The playing field is levelled after that, but the damage has been done and Baker has a fighting chance against her much more experienced opponent. The fists keep flying and its only after five or six minutes they end up inside the ring and some semblance of a proper match. Baker presses her advantage but at one point gets caught up in her enthusiasm and walks straight into a Flash Head Kick with Foxxy collapsing on top. Diamond rushes to break up the pin but she's a split second too late and LaRue wins the match. (Rating: 41) Hustle Muvva is shown driving his lowrider to the front of the HUSTLER Casino in Gardena, with Cindy riding shotgun. A valet walks up to open the door for her, then grabs the keys Muvva tosses at him as the couple come together in front of the entrance. Muvva: "Damn it feels good to be a hustler! This sh*t literally can't get any better. Got my hot wife, got the championship, got the whole world in my hands and luck on my side, let's go in and make some money, I'm feelin' it!" Cindy: "I still can't believe everyone bought that crap about you and that Kandii b*tch, baby." Muvva: "Yeah, I played her and I played Stash too. As if I'd give you up for some low-down sk*nk from The Warehouse... but hey, a man's gotta hustle and it got me thus far. Let's get to work." Muvva wraps an arm around Cindy's waist and the two of them walk through the double doors as the camera fades out. (Rating: 61) The two men come out and face each other, with Blake offering his hands for a test of skill. It's a struggle, but Blake wins it and takes the big man down. The competitors reset to a standing position and with his confidence up, Blake calls for a test of strength. It's a bad idea though as there's no chance Stash is losing that and he ends up scooping him up for a bodyslam to re-assert his dominance. This opening exchange sets the tone for the rest of the match, with Stash looking to power his way through and Blake attempting to eliminate the size disadvantage through technique. A surprisingly clean-cut contest for GSW's hardcore standards, this one is also surprisingly long, especially for a televised match, going almost fifteen minutes before Stash is able to knock Blake's lights out with a Buckle Bomb followed by the Standing Powerslam for the pin. (Rating: 49) Kandii is shown going about The Warehouse, managing administrative details as she gives out pointers to the bar staff. It's difficult to say whether this is in preparation before the club opens its doors or if this is wrapping up in the after hours, but she looks to be completely in the zone until she runs into some man. His back is turned to the camera, but he speaks with a heavy Hispanic accent. Man: "Ah, I've been looking for you, seniorita. I am told you are in the business of managing luchadores, si?" Kandii: "Used to. I'm taking a break, actually. Had a rough time and I need to recollect myself. I'm sorry, who are you?" Man: "I am a man in need of representation." Kandii: "I told you, I'm done with that for a while." Man: "All I'm asking for is you introduce me to senor Grimm. I can make it worth your while." The man passes a check to Kandii, with the camera catching a glimpse of a considerable amount written on it. Man: "After all, in Hollywood, stars are only as good as their managers set them up to be, no?" [73] ~ First a victory over Yuta Isono and now a much bigger one against Sharaku Okimasa for Ragnarok, who claimed one of the three Challengers Series Medallions. The big man looks to reclaim the gold for Dread's Army, but he will have to go through the other competitors and current champion Giant Brody, which is no small task. ~ Seven Samurai have already been missing Kiyotaka and now might be losing Sojuro Sen for good after he badly herniated a disc. The battle hardened veteran is expected to spend over a year recuperating and contemplating surgery, as it carries an extremely high risk for potential nerve damage to his spine and regardless of the outcome, even if it is successful, the damage might still be bad enough to cause an abrupt end to his in-ring career. ~ Isono had an opportunity to test himself against Conner Threepwood's technical prowess, showcasing his own grasp of the fundamentals and wrestling technique. It still wasn't enough to get him a victory, but Isono looked good even in defeat, as is often the case in such matches for graduating young lions. </div>

[77] ~ Razan Okamoto, Lion Genji and the Black Iron Corps began the tour with victories, making a statement in light of recent events revolving around each of them. Genji seems to have found a home among the Seven Samurai and even got the pin for his team, while Okamoto and Black Iron Corps started off the right foot in light of their big upcoming matches. ~ Despite now lacking his father's support inside the ring, Yoshinaka Taku still managed to carry the Dawnguard team to victory. Toshinobu Taku may not be wrestling anymore, but he is still an important backstage presence and expected to sometimes second his son for big matches in the future. ~ Yuta Isono's trials began and this match was a showcase for him as much as it was for his opponent, Ragnarok. Formerly one of Pro Wrestling SAISHO's brightest prospects, Narahashi had little time to shine on the main BCG roster before sustaining a shoulder injury back in June but now he is back and chosen to reform the Black Iron Corps alongside Azumamaro Kita, looking to claim the World Tag Team titles from the Dread Army duo. ~ Lion Genji also officially announced he will be joining Seven Samurai during his interview, a fact heavily implied after his match against Funakoshi but never quite officially confirmed until now. This brings the group back to Seven strong since Kiyotaka is out with an injury, but questions remain as to how the situation will be handled once he returns in an eight man faction. ~ Yuta Isono was presented to the press as well, now officially graduated and no longer a part of the young boys crowd. Isono will be facing his own series of matches throughout the tour and upon completion, departing for his excursion overseas. </div>

W4 July 2020 New Mei Sports Stadium @ Kansai, Japan Attendance: 8.999, Rating: 74, Views: 48.643 (0.06 on Shogun TV) Atto Savage vs Texas Hangman The show opened with the final of Texas Hangman's series of singles exhibition matches, a program meant to acquaint him more with the audience and showcase his individual attributes without getting lost in the multi man shuffle. Hangman certainly has the size, power and intimidation factor down so the matches allowed him to prove himself a capable brawler, albeit one still sorely lacking in the selling department and best suited for quick dominant performances. Going up against Atto Savage in this final match made for a contest with enough back and forth to feel like a somewhat competitive brawl, but once Savage showed a surprisingly technical side of him, Hangman just couldn't keep up and after getting repeatedly dropped on his head, eventually tapped out to the Savage Claw. In a bout that had decent wrestling but little heat, Atto Savage defeated Texas Hangman in 9:51 by submission with a Savage Claw. [47] Yoriie Ippitsusai vs Kadonomaro Kamisaka Ippitsusai returned to action after a long absence and wrestled his final match before hanging up the boots. Despite the predictable outcome of him putting over the younger "Serene K", the bout itself was pretty decent and the two men's mat based style meshed well, allowing them to accentuate their strong aspects while keeping the pace slow enough for the 47 year old veteran to follow without getting winded. On top of that, Ippitsusai and Kamisaka took a creative turn with the storytelling and played up the former's experience allowing him to escape the latter's usual Triangle Choke finisher more than once, which in turn resulted in Kamisaka having to pull off a Stump Piledriver and drop the veteran on his head to finally get the three count. After the match, Kamisaka shook the hand of the departing veteran and Ippitsusai was given a moment to bow to the crowd one last time as they thanked him for all these years. In a decent match, Kadonomaro Kamisaka defeated Yoriie Ippitsusai in 15:11 by pinfall with a Stump Piledriver. [47] Challengers Series Medallions match Dynamite Narahashi vs Sharaku Okimasa Narahashi and Okimasa kicked off the Challengers Series of matches for the night with a solid, if unspectacular bout that focused on one man being well rounded in his skills and the other highly specialized in submission grappling alone, versatility versus single minded expertise. This meant that Narahashi had the job of lighting up the match with strikes and quickening the pace with the occasional aerial maneuver, while Okimasa attempted to slow things down, ground his opponent and work his lower body with holds. Okimasa actually got quite a big slice of the offence, with Narahashi first escaping or countering his submissions, then later reaching for the ropes to force a break, a setup that kept the match going until Narahashi managed to pull off his explosive finisher and get the win to advance. In a decent match, Dynamite Narahashi defeated Sharaku Okimasa in 14:05 by pinfall with a Narahashi Cutter. Dynamite Narahashi makes defence number one of the Medallion #2. Dynamite Narahashi wins the Medallion #3. [55] Challengers Series Medallions match Giant Brody vs Dynamite Narahashi The deck was stacked against Narahashi here. Not only was Brody a much bigger man, he was able to match him in speed and agility on top of being much fresher and less battered. This mismatch immediately added a lot of drama and urgency to the match, with Narahashi fighting an uphill battle with everything he had left in him and fans chanting his name as they wanted to see him pull off this wondrous feat. He almost made it too, when he got in position for the Cutter but instead of driving Brody's face to the mat, the big man just shoved him away to send him flying across the ring for a hard landing. It was all Brody from there and after the beatdown that followed, Narahashi got chokeslammed and pinned, sending Brody to face FEAR for the gold. In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Giant Brody defeated Dynamite Narahashi in 12:18 by pinfall with a Single Handed Choke Slam. Giant Brody wins the Medallion #2. Giant Brody wins the Medallion #3. Giant Brody makes defence number one of the Medallion #1. [55] BCG Challengers Series title match 17th Champion FEAR vs Giant Brody (with James Diaz) Brody had Diaz seconding him for the title match and it felt as though he could finally be the one to stop FEAR since he not only could match him in sheer power, he was more experienced and came into this match after a relatively easy bout against Narahashi. The two men made sure to showcase that in their match as FEAR's usual offence barely rocked his challenger, causing the champion's confidence to crack. His mannerisms indicated that, for the first time since arriving, FEAR had to work hard for the win and it wasn't even guaranteed that he was going to get it. Like a shark smelling blood in the water, Brody sensed this moment of doubt and pressed his advantage with a series of lariats and big boots, before he started raining down the big bombs. FEAR's response showed signs of desperation as the champion seemed to feel victory slipping away and that's what allowed Brody's experience to shine as he didn't crack under pressure when FEAR did. It took four chokeslams to keep FEAR down for the count, but Brody finally did it, becoming the new champion while also denying FEAR his third successful defense which would have earned him a shot at the World title. In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Giant Brody defeated FEAR in 13:49 by pinfall with a Single Handed Choke Slam. Giant Brody wins the BCG Challengers Series. [61] Toshinobu Taku vs Zeshin Makioka The night's second retirement match was every bit as sentimental (and predictable) as the first one, although Toshinobu Taku has arguably had a better career than Ippitsusai and it showed in how into his match the fans were, reacting to everything he and his opponent did. Makioka is a curious case given his own career history so far and he too referenced parts of it, from hitting some signature high flying moves from his junior days to a quick ringside brawl that harkened back to his WEXXV days, even if he didn't pull off anything nearly as extreme as he used to do back in those days. Once again though, Z-Mak was able to end a match using a submission maneuver, a clear indication to him being a different, more well-rounded wrestler now and the post-match sequence gave Taku a moment of respect in his triumphant last huzzah. In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Zeshin Makioka defeated Toshinobu Taku in 13:38 by submission. [51] BCG World Tag Team titles match 14th Champions The Horror vs Challengers The American Cobras Malloy & Spillane have been making waves in the U.S. and Mexico so it was only a matter of time before they'd do the same in Japan, this match being their first big real chance to capture gold in BCG. The Horror weren't going to make it easy on them though and it took a ton of quick tags and double team offence from the Cobras to barely make this an even match on a somewhat level terrain. Still, the champions shook but they did not budge and after powerbombing Malloy onto Spillane took complete control of the match to isolate Spillane on their side of the ring and drop him with an Apocalypse Blast while Malloy was still reeling on the floor to retain. In a bout that had superb wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, The Horror defeated The American Cobras in 11:59 when Abomination pinned Storm Spillane with an Apocalypse Blast. The Horror make defence number three of the BCG World Tag Team titles. [75] Funakoshi (with Blast Ikoma) vs Lion Genji Genji's series of matches led up to this clash against the Man himself, the leader of Seven Samurai and face of BCG, Funakoshi. Blast Ikoma was at ringside to provide support and the bout itself showed early signs that it was going to be a classic slow fuse contest leading to a big climax in the finish, as the competitors spent a lot of time pacing around, sizing each other up and testing defences in a feeling out process. Oddly enough, this ended up backfiring by the time they reached the finish of the bout, as it felt rushed to get it over with and left fans feeling like it needed more time. Still, Funakoshi managed to be the first and only man in this series of matches to make Genji taste defeat, a fact that Genji himself seemed to respect as he bowed to the victor after the match. Funakoshi returned the gesture and the two men shook hands. In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Funakoshi defeated Lion Genji in 17:46 by pinfall with a Butterfly Backbreaker. [76] Razan Okamoto (with Yoshisada Matsuzawa) vs SUKI (with Masashi Urogataya) With his match against Furusawa penciled in, Okamoto found himself facing Furusawa's lieutenant on this night, the undisputed number 2 of the Pillars group, SUKI. This was an opportunity for the winner of this year's Sole Survivor to prove his worth and gain momentum by defeating Furusawa's gatekeeper, while SUKI himself had a chance to beat up Okamoto and soften him up in light of the upcoming title match. Translated into the psychology of their match, this meant that Okamoto initially went for big flashy moves and played to the crowd, while SUKI showed viciousness in his strikes as he battered the opposition in search of a weak point to exploit. This setup quickly had Okamoto on the defensive struggling to survive the onslaught while SUKI was in control and fortunately this match was given enough time to breathe unlike the one that came before it. Okamoto's will to push on past the pain and exhaustion, his determination in this uphill battle and hopeful comebacks drew the fans in, while SUKI was relentless in his attacks, even more so after he realized that his opponent seemed to favor one leg. This led to a big spot where SUKI went for the single leg takedown and ended up with his neck trapped, but Okamoto's leg couldn't support the weight and he collapsed while trying to deliver the Brainbuster Suplex. From there, each man tried to pull bigger and bigger moves to put the other away until SUKI made the mistake of heading up high. Okamoto was able to block whatever aerial attack his opponent had in mind and thanks to him already being in an elevated position, managed to bring him down with a Brainbuster Suplex for the pin. In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Razan Okamoto defeated SUKI in 25:38 by pinfall with a Brainbuster Suplex. [87] Mabuchi Furusawa vs Tanyu Toshusai On paper, the main event looked more like a friendly sparring session or an exhibition match meant to give Furusawa some momentum heading into his title match at The Lion's Roar, but already from the opening sequence Toshusai made it clear he wasn't fooling around when he caught Furusawa and hit him with a Suplex Powerslam to a big reaction. This was a statement and the World champion got the message this wasn't going to be easy, although he did smile once he got up, perhaps realizing he was right to be impressed by Toshusai and request this match against him. The two men traded strikes back and forth, before switching things up on the mat. Furusawa looked like he was always one step ahead and had a counter for everything Toshusai threw at him, but he also struggled to get past Toshusai's solid defence and grab hold of an arm to work over in preparation of his armbar finisher. This would eventually frustrate the leader of Pillars and it became evident when Furusawa abandoned his crisp striking to simply maul his opponent like a savage. Still, Toshusai's defence game was on point and a simple side step while backed into a corner led to the charging Furusawa go head first onto the ringpost. A DDT followed by a Dangerous Brainbuster later, Toshusai was making the cover and in a shock finish, he was able to get the three count over his opponent. In a bout that had superb wrestling and good heat, Tanyu Toshusai defeated Mabuchi Furusawa in 28:49 by pinfall with a Dangerous Brainbuster. [73] After the match, Big Bruiser Findlay made an appearance at the top of the entrance ramp and cut a promo, saying he meant to come out and challenge Furusawa to a match at the end of the upcoming Rising Lion tour, but since Toshusai beat the World champion in a non-title match, perhaps he was now the man to beat. Furusawa responded by conceding that this is an odd situation indeed, especially since he's scheduled to defend the World title at The Lion's Roar, but he had a way to figure out who is best suited to face him for the gold in the main event of BCG's biggest show of the year: Findlay versus Toshusai at The Lion Rises, with the winner wrestling Okamoto at The Lion Hunts for the shot at Furusawa's title at The Lion's Roar!</div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #2C2A2A; max-width:60%;box-shadow: 0 6px 12px ";">Post show interviews and comments Toshusai: "Tonight was a huge victory for me and it really is a shame the title wasn't on the line, because now we all know I can beat Furusawa for it. The only reason I agreed to play their little game is because Findlay was in the Sole Survivor Four Way Elimination match and Okamoto won it, so I need to prove to myself and the world that I deserve a chance at the title." Okamoto: "So now it's me plus two more potential contenders? Then what was the point of me winning the Sole Survivor? Findlay's trying to weasel his way back into the title picture and Toshusai did well tonight, but he was handed this match. I had to work for my title shot. If I have to jump through hoops to get to Furusawa at The Lion's Roar, so be it, but it doesn't mean I'm not upset about this whole situation." Funakoshi: "I have nothing but respect for Lion Genji. I knew I wanted him as one of the Seven Samurai and tonight I can say I was right to do so. He is a terrific wrestler and an honourable man I'd be glad to have on our ranks." Brody: "Some folks were quick to count me out of the game. Well I beat the unbeatable FEAR. I won the Challengers Series title. And you will learn to never again overlook a giant!"</div>

The Next Episode #41 Airing Friday, Week 1 of January 2021 1. Raheem Stash vs Tavon Blake Jr. Game of Death is over and Raheem Stash ended his year with another failed attempt to beat Hustle Muvva and reclaim the GSW West Coast title. Tavon Blake Jr wasn't even on the card for that show. Both men have been having a hard time and Grimm jumped at this like a shark that smells blood on the water, seeing opportunity to have them face off against one another. If either man wants to take steps forward, it will come at the expense of the other. 2. Foxxy LaRue vs Jo Baker Ever since BPLM caught LaRue's attention, she's been somewhat obsessed with the idea of assuming leadership of the group, with Deaf Touch even accusing her it's done at the expense of their Motor City Made team. Even though LaRue managed to defeat Miss Jones and end her career to take her place at the helm of BPLM, results since have been underwhelming: the trio missed their shot at the GSW Hottest Crew titles, LaRue's open challenge fed Black Diamond to the debuting bulldozer Lil' Henry and none of the three women were even booked for Game of Death. Now Jo Baker has had enough, but can LaRue stamp out this little rebellion inside the group or has everything -including the injury Deaf Touch sustained- taken too much of a mental toll on her? 3. Busta Capp vs Lil' Henry The heart and soul of Grimm SoCal. A GSW original. A former champion and a man who's been there for some of the company's biggest moments. It should come as no surprise that Busta Capp took exception to the sudden recent influx of IPW talent and requested a match against one of them. What he got was a one on one date with Lil' Henry, so Capp will need to muster all of his experience, tenacity and heart to pull through this one. </div>

Keep doing your thing, I'll keep doing mine and we'll be done in no time." *Grimm's office, The Warehouse. First few days of 2021* With one hand placing the phone down, Brother Grimm used the other to pull open a drawer in his desk. The momentum of the move had a joint roll across and for a brief moment, Grimm was tempted. It had been quite some time since he last had one. Since he'd decided to quit so he could steer the ship now that Weston and Big Magic were gone. The situation called for celebration, after all. With a final snort, Grimm reached into the drawer and popped open a cigar case instead. This one, he would allow himself. A rare treat, for just every once in a while. Just as he was going through the motions of preparing said treat, there was a knock on the door. A glass of Hennessey in each hand, Foxxy LaRue walked into the office and sat down opposite Grimm, offering him one of the drinks. "Isaiah told me you called in for a drink. Figured I'd bring it to you, grab one for myself as well while I'm at it" LaRue said with a wry smile. Grimm prolonged the first taste of his lit cigar, buying himself a few precious seconds to think. Foxxy wasn't the flirty type. Hell, she wasn't the one to have any taste in men to begin with, she'd been dating Devyn Retribution of all people, for f*ck's sake. So what was this all about, the smile, the drink, the visit? "Might as well have some company to celebrate" Grimm responded, raising his glass to meet LaRue's before they both took a sip. "I assume you've heard the news? GSW won Most Improved Company of the Year award. Rated 13th in the world now, with them IPW f*cks sitting at 23." "I have" LaRue said with a nod of her puffy haired head. "Did you happen to notice who's on top?" Grimm leaned back and furrowed his eyebrows in surprise. As if there was anyone who could knock USPW out of nowhere without anyone noticing. "They've been growing rapidly too." Foxxy continued. "Got a second TV show rolling since February and it's doing well. TotalExtremeWrestling.com rated them as Titanic by the end of the year." Grimm was starting to see where all this was headed. Packer needed bodies for his media machine, fresh faces. "I got a call from Parsons" LaRue finally spit it out. "Rich Money, as most people know him. Seventy two hundred a month for four years, plus 15% of the merch. Then he threw a whole year's worth of wages on top, as a signing bonus." "That's one hell of a deal" Grimm conceded, before taking another sip from his cigar. "And you know I can't possibly hope to match it. I don't have Packer's money or exposure... yet. So why are you telling me?" "I wanted you to know" Foxxy answered, once she'd downed some of her own drink. She was having it faster than Grimm, but clearly it wasn't out of stress. LaRue was like that, too much of a party animal to slow down and enjoy the finer layers of taste in a quality drink. "I wanted to tell you myself, face to face. And I wanted to tell you ahead of time, so you can plan how you want to write me off. I'd like to do the honors and put someone over on my way out. You've been as important as Farrah's Texas gig in getting me over, putting my face on WrestleWorld all the time for people from coast to coast to see. You deserve as much." "You're one of the good ones, Fox" Grimm said with a smile. "You did this yourself, we just gave you a platform to showcase your sh*t. Want you to know, you were on top of my list when I decided to have women wrestling in GSW, word is bond. You were probably gonna be the first female American champion too. And I appreciate you for having the guts to say this to my face, I really do." Foxxy raised her glass, probably one last sip left in her glass by this point. Grimm responded in kind, thinking this had gone surprisingly well. "You go get 'em, girl. Show 'em the power of street knowledge." </div>

[75] ~ The competitiveness between Toshusai and Furusawa is reaching a fever pitch, the BCG World champion looking to make a statement as he not only ended the match himself in this one, he did so in spectacular fashion by debuting a new finisher in the Spinning Arm Breaker. This now poses a new question in light of the Legacy main event match and how Toshusai will be able to counter this particular maneuver. ~ Lion Genji had his work cut out for him this night against Pillars' second in command, but he still managed to defeat SUKI in a hotly contested bout. It has now been confirmed that his final match at Legacy will be against none other but the leader of Seven Samurai himself, Funakoshi. ~ Ray Snow delivered a Spinning Back Fist of shocking impact to drop Ragnarok, surprising fans as much as his opponents by getting the pinfall over him. Snow, who has so far gone quite unnoticed, certainly drew attention this night courtesy of that spot and it remains to be seen if it will be the start of him being featured more prominently in the future. </div>

[67] ~ Can anyone stop Tanyu Toshusai by this point? Not in multi man matches, it seems, as he once again delivered the finishing blow in the main event. It won't be the same of course once he meets Furusawa one on one, but the youngster is certainly on a roll leading up to their clash. ~ The final of three Challengers Series Medallion now rests with Sharaku Okimasa, following his win over Nobuharu Yokokawa who can't seem to catch a break lately. At 40 years of age, it seems the veteran is being moved down the card, while Okimasa will once again have his chance to move up if he manages to claim all three Medallions and wrest the title away from FEAR. ~ Lion Genji picked up another hard earned victory, this time over the rugged veteran that is Sojuro Sen. Meanwhile, Texas Hangman also won the opening match, his opponent being the charismatic youngster Yuta Isono in a clash of styles and personalities. </div>

[65] ~ Another victory claimed by Tanyu Toshusai as he continues to build up momentum in light of his big match. Again, this upcoming bout seems to push him and Furusawa instead of driving a wedge between them and once again, their team got the win over Seven Samurai. ~ The Samurai also suffered a defeat against Bruiser Brigade, while Dawnguard were able to get a win thanks to the leadership of Toshinobu Taku and the fire of his son, Yoshinaka. ~ Both Lion Genji and Texas Hangman also wrapped up the night on the victorious side, the former having to push a little more than usual to get the pin over Urogataya. Hangman, on the other hand, faced Miyake and endured the onslaught of his kicking to deliver a chokeslam, both men putting on a solid performance that probably elevated them in the eyes of the audience. </div>

Grimm pointed out that GSW has been delivering killer television and monthly shows, tonight being no exception and starting next year, things will only get bigger. (Rating: 71) The opening contest saw Public Enemy #1 bring his fiery brawling against the newcomer Lil' Henry, scrappy brawler against big powerhouse for an exciting fistfight. Enemy showed plenty of fire and his intensity allowed him to stay in the fight against his larger opponent, but he made the rookie mistake of taunting his opponent and roaring to the crowd in anger instead of finishing Henry off, which allowed the more experienced ex-IPW star to get back in the match and deliver a beatdown. Just as Henry was building up to a Double-Handed Choke Bomb, Magwitch rolled out from underneath the ring with a barb wire baseball bat in hand to slam it onto his back while cackling like a madman before running away. The spot allowed Enemy to make a comeback for a bit, but Henry is no stranger to pain, blood and hardcore action so he was able to push on and eventually deliver the Double-Handed Choke Bomb for the three count. (Rating: 26) Kandii's betrayal allowed Muvva to beat Stash for the title originally and ever since, they've both been a thorn on the big Jamaican's side but having managers banned from ringside this time, this rematch felt like it would finally be free of shenanigans. Between the heat in this rivalry and Muvva trying to eliminate his opponent's size advantage, the match quickly devolved into a bloody weapons brawl, Stash looking more than happy to play ball and respond in kind, whacking Muvva with anything he could lay his hands on and when there was nothing available, his hands alone. Cindy did make an appearance amidst this chaos, catching referee Dwight Kumas' attention but arguing that she could totally be there, as she is not technically a manager or managing anyone. Her presence though did seem to upset Muvva and Stash was quick to capitalize, amping up the violence in hopes of a win. This sudden burst of offence had Muvva wearing the crimson mask before long and during a short break from the ref so he could check up on him, Cindy climbed the apron and whacked Stash from behind with an unprotected shot to the head. This had him staggering for the briefest of moments and seeing his chance, Muvva rushed in for the Hustler's Headbutt and the cover, which saw him successfully retain his title against Stash. (Rating: 50) E and Ali may not have had the time to develop a rivalry like Muvva and Stash, but theirs was just as intense and the stipulation of the match only served to guarantee another bloodbath. Indeed, as soon as the bell rang, fists started flying in a wildly paced match, before a lariat sent E-Soteric over the top rope. This wasn't enough to slow the former West Coast champion down though and he used the opportunity to pull on the strap with all his weight, essentially choking Ali on the top rope before the move was escaped by him also going over the top rope to release the pressure on his throat. The two fighters proceeded to brawl outside the ring and use the strap to pull each other onto hard parts of the environment, while E-Soteric also wrapped it around his fist for some heavy punches that had his opponent bleeding. When the bout got back inside the ring though, Ali showed a lot of inner fire in his comeback and even paid his opponent back by using the strap to deliver a lashing that cut E's back open, then hitting him with a Death Valley Driver for the three. (Rating: 49) After he had his hand raised in victory (and the Dog Collar removed), Frantic Ali grabbed a microphone and declared his intention to go for the top prize in GSW, the American title. These words brought out none other than the American champion himself, Fro Sure, who promptly talked Ali back into his place as a newcomer way out of his mind, much to the aplomb of the live audience. (Rating: 65) Ever since their shock return to GSW, the Mexican Hardcore Killers have been building momentum and consistently outsmarting Los Guerilleros, all leading up to this title match between the two Latino tag teams. Mexico's Finest and Hector Galindo were conspicuously absent, though whether because they had something else cooking or because this was an honor thing of not tainting title matches, no one could tell. This cleared the scene for another great hardcore contest, one more in what fans and critics have began calling a return to the glory days of GSW's tag team division. Of course, Finest and Galindo would eventually show up to assist their allies, but once again the MHKs had this scouted; Villano dodged a blow from Galindo that ended up hitting MexiCain while E-Z hit a suicide dive onto Finest, clearing the ring for Villano to knock Galindo off the apron and deliver a Curb Stomp onto MexiCain for the pin, meaning the Mexican Hardcore Killers are the new GSW Tag Team champions! (Rating: 46) As you would expect, the outcome did not sit well with Los Guerilleros and once again, they used the numbers advantage for a post match attack on the newly crowned champions. The beatdown however came to a screeching halt when State of Destruction's music came on the speakers and the two behemoths made an appearance. If that was enough to stop the attack, seeing them walk to the ring sent Los Guerilleros scattering. (Rating: 47) The main event was a classic situation of friends and tag partners turning on each other after a series of repeated failures, arguments and prolonged disappointment. Building on the intensity of their matchup, the two fighters went balls to the wall from bell to bell, a pace not unlike the one E-Soteric and Frantic Ali's brawl had earlier, albeit without the strap and ringside brawling. That's not to say there weren't strikes or weapons involved, but given the familiarity of the two opponents, some surprisingly great chain wrestling was also on display as they dodged and reversed each other's arsenal of moves while showcasing great chemistry on top of their familiarity and skill. Aces being the smaller and less established wrestler tried to counter his disadvantage by taking more risks than his calmer, stronger opponent and this not only made for some great stunt spots, it also played into the finish of Aces missing a dive off the top for Slick to capitalize and deliver the Slick-Back. [67] ~ The second Challengers Series Medallion now rests with Dynamite Narahashi after a hard fought match against fellow Okamoto-gun competitor Yoshisada Matsuzawa. The two men wrestled a good match, shaking hands before and after the bout, confirming that all is well between them despite the clash. ~ Another loss for Nobuharu Yokokawa, this time at the hands of Lion Genji who continues to plough through the opposition from both Seven Samurai and Pillars of Puroresu. Genji remains expressionless and has made no statement in regards to his impressions so far and intention to join either group. ~ Azumamaro Kita picked up a win in the opening contest against Texas Hangman, returning to singles action essentially since his appearances in the Yoshifusa Maeda Grand Prix. Somewhat lost in the shuffle since the influx of SAISHO stars, Kita's victory should help him climb back up the ranks although undoubtedly he will need more of those and against more established names. </div>

[66] ~ Tanyu Toshusai continues to build momentum in light of his match against Furusawa, this time standing out in the main event as he delivered the winning Dangerous Brainbuster on Yokokawa. It seems the prospect of the match has served to light a fire under both men and make them even more competitive, instead of undermining the unity of their faction. ~ Another victory for Lion Genji in his series of matches, this one over the less experienced but technically versed Danjuro Kikuchi. The Pillars member looked good even in defeat while Genji continues his streak as he seems to be on a schedule of facing progressively harder opponents. ~ Zeshin Makioka may have not delivered what he called a "killer match" against Texas Hangman, but he was still able to match the big brawler and bring him down for a tap out. Makioka continues to impress and it hasn't escaped viewers that he continues to utilize submissions as his finishers instead of his usual DDT, perhaps a hint at him rounding up his style compared to his WEXXV and SAISHO days. </div>

[69] ~ Very much a balancing act, Night 2 of the Legacy tour saw Seven Samurai, Dread Army and Okamoto-gun score the equalizers over their respective opponents. It wasn't all rejoicing for all those factions however, as the veteran Roku Sotomura suffered defeat at the hands of Lion Genji. ~ Giant Brody is the first man to win a Challengers Series Medallion this tour and he did it with a victory over Yoshisada Matsuzawa. This is another step in Brody stepping up to fill in for the injured Animal Harker and by this point he is widely regarded as having replaced him as the top wrestler in Bruiser Brigade behind only Big Bruiser Findlay. ~ Toshinobu Taku's return may have not brought him another victory this night, but he had some pretty inspiring words for Suguru Emoto before the opening match, which led to the youngster defeating Texas Hangman in their singles match. Hangman is now at 1-1, while Emoto also had the chance to prove himself in singles competition and pick up a significant win. </div>

[71] ~ The scheduled clash between Furusawa and Toshusai seemed to spur both men on and their team pulled off a win in the first main event of the tour, even if neither man managed to get the pin themselves. Meanwhile, Toshinobu Taku's return is already paying dividends as the Dawnguard team were able to defeat Okamoto-gun in a match featuring the winner of Sole Survivor himself. ~ The American Cobras are also off to a good start, with Malloy pinning Abomination in their six man tag. The dents in Dread Army's armor are starting to show, but there's no denying that despite any missteps, FEAR and The Horror always deliver the goods when it comes to big title matches. ~ Lion Genji and Texas Hangman opened the show with their respective singles matches, both winning as expected over their less experienced opponents. Genji's victory should come as no surprise, but Hangman got to showcase his skills in his first ever singles matches, complete with the Chokeslam he seems will be using as a finishing maneuver. </div>
