Technical mistress Ginko Kuroda goes head to head against the maniac that is FURY Takasu in the semi main event, while two teams of young lions battle it out before them. But now, before our opening contest, please welcome the mastermind behind all this, the legendary Crusher Ichihara!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="RxEndGj.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/RxEndGj.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Crusher Ichihara's music plays and she makes her entrance, albeit without her trademark pale facepaint. The woman known as "the Red Queen" acts like an absolute snob towards the audience; Laura Flame seems super focused and ignores fans while the towering Deborah Young is the only one who bothers to slap hands away from her and growl at fans. Next out are their opponents, Eri Sato, Sakura Sada and the rebellious 20 year old Rika Tsujimura, who get cheers from the fans. Flame and Sato start the match with stiff strikes that have Sato reeling as she tags in Tsujimura. Making the best of her height, Tsujimura keeps Flame at a distance with kicks until she's groggy enough for Tsujimura to close in with devastating knee strikes. From the sidelines, Davis is directing traffic and orders for Young to get the tag, which she does. Now the bigger woman in the ring, Deborah Young dominates everyone sent against her, with Davis tagging in and out to pick her spots and provide a break for her teammates until Young demolishes Tsujimura with a Sit-Out Powerbomb for the three count.</p><p> <strong>Winners: Deborah Young, Laura Flame & Thea Davis</strong></p><p><strong> Finish: Sit-Out Powerbomb</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="7nXiDsK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7nXiDsK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="eVnzbeS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/eVnzbeS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="8B2D2n5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/8B2D2n5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="25UZG0h.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/25UZG0h.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="DbpgfdK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DbpgfdK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="rP9LuoR.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rP9LuoR.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> BATTLE BEASTS vs Nami Genda & Romi Yamato</strong></p><p> Almost as big and muscular as the monstrous Deborah Young earlier, BEAST Kaori is an intimidating sight. BATTLE Takenouchi looks like she means business in her military fatigues and war paint, plus her short, stocky frame suggest a classic puroresu competitor: short, stocky, resilient, with a low center of gravity and a wide array of kicks and takedowns. Genda and Yamato look a lot less intimidating in comparison, but once the match is underway, Yamato's superior in-ring skills have her in control and carrying the other young lions through the match. Her explosive, accurate kicks initially take away the vertical base of BEAST Kaori before BATTLE Takenouchi jumps in to trade blows. Nami Genda's performance however is not up to par with that of her teammate and she ends up taking the pin shortly after the ten minute mark.</p><p> <strong>Winners: BATTLE BEASTS</strong></p><p><strong> Finish: Jack-Knife Powerbomb</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="ozLd3Bm.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ozLd3Bm.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="L9u3KhK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/L9u3KhK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="25UZG0h.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/25UZG0h.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="mSoHzQS.jpgg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mSoHzQS.jpgg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> "The Maniac" FURY Takasu vs "The Dragon's Daughter" Ginko Kuroda</strong></p><p> Knowing Crusher Ichihara's involvement with WINNOW, the semi main event could very well be interpreted as a nod to her long standing feud with Sensational Ogiwara: the graceful babyface technician Kuroda goes to war against the savage brawler that is FURY Takasu. It's a clash of styles but even when Kuroda is in control, her style is fast and fluid, keeping the pace of the match really quick as she slides from hold to hold. Fans and wrestlers alike never get a moment's respite, the action constant and spot following spot in a truly spectacular match as Takasu again and again tries to connect with her decapitating Yakuza Kick while Kuroda struggles to grab her opponent long enough to deliver her own Dragon Suplex finisher. After nearly fifteen minutes of crazy back and forth action, Kuroda switches half-way through her finisher into a Dragon Sleeper hold and although Takasu cannot escape, reverse or force a break, she struggles for almost a full two minutes before defiantly passing out instead of yielding.</p><p> <strong>Winner: Ginko Kuroda</strong></p><p><strong> Finish: Stoppage</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="87E3trK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/87E3trK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> Five Way Elimination match</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="w7nP9VI.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/w7nP9VI.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> WINNOW Grand Champion title</strong></p><p><strong> Five Way Elimination match</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="zPaHPzb.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/zPaHPzb.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="wgcZPFW.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wgcZPFW.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="QAaEoST.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/QAaEoST.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="hsi4Dbf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/hsi4Dbf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="RCvIapy.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/RCvIapy.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> Chitose Ariwara vs Ikuko Temko vs Jaguar Endo vs Lioness Mushashibo vs Rei Chikanatsu</strong></p><p> The main event is essentially a showcase of WINNOW's top talent. The bubbly high flyer Chitose Ariwara, looking to restart her career after a series of ill-timed injuries. "The Mistress of Pain" Ikuko Temko, a veteran out to clear her legacy from the shadow of a steroid scandal. Indy sensation of the joshi circuit Jaguar Endo, with 19 years as a pro but never a contract with a major promotion. The pioneer of high flying women in Japan, Lioness Musashibo. The diminutive mat magician Rei Chikanatsu, now sporting a cute kitsune mask during her entrance. Five women, each with something to prove and a title to chase.</p><p> </p><p> The match begins as a free-for-all, with all five ladies trading blows back and forth but soon the bigger strikers Temko and Endo send Ariwara and Chikanatsu out of the ring to regroup. Lioness Mushashibo is not that easy to put away though and despite her 45 years of age, she still hits a crisp, spectacular moonsault that knocks down both her opponents while earning her the applause of the crowd. From there, Chikanatsu crawls back into the ring and takes Musashibo to the mat, but a recovered Temko is quick to put her out with her dreaded Temko Pendulum finisher, a Torture Rack hold spun out into a devastating neckbreaker and Rei Chikanatsu is the first elimination.</p><p> </p><p> Also recovered, Jaguar Endo taunts Temko into a striking contest and they trade chops back and forth for a bit until Ariwara slingshots herself in for a crossbody. The spot takes everyone down save for Mushashibo, who sees her opening and hits a beautiful Sky Twister Press to eliminate Jaguar Endo.</p><p> </p><p> Temko is left to fight against two smaller and faster high flying opponents and for a moment it looks like she's winning this 2 on 1 fight, until she puts Ariwara in the Torture Rack. Before she can complete her finisher, Mushashibo hits her with a dropkick and Ariwara rolls with the momentum into a Victory Roll and the shocking elimination of Ikuko Temko!</p><p> </p><p> The match comes down to Ariwara and Mushashibo, about sixteen minutes after the opening bell. As if they just started fresh, both women pick up the pace and hit a new gear as they fly and roll and flip and tumble, each countering the other's moves in highly technical chain wrestling sequences back and forth that have fans on the edge of their seats. Mushashibo then goes for a surprise roll up pin, Ariwara reverses into the Victory Roll and Mushashibo barely escapes before the three count with the near fall!</p><p> </p><p> Struggling back on her feet and up the ropes, Ariwara goes high risk with a splash, but she comes up empty as Mushashibo rolls to the side just before the move connects! It's the veteran now going for another Sky Twister Press, but before she can launch herself, an adrenaline-fuelled Ariwara hops on the second rope and sends her off flying with a Sunset Flip, before floating over for the cover.</p><p> <strong>Winner and NEW WINNOW Grand Champion: Chitose Ariwara</strong></p><p><strong> Finish: Sunset Flip</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="87E3trK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/87E3trK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Show Rating:</span></strong></p><p> <img alt="87E3trK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/87E3trK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></p></div><p></p><p></p>
  3. Never noticed, but after you brought it up I wandered the forums and it is indeed. I'm hoping 2 players proves sustainable, because MotR, WIRE and our own GWC ones didn't last. Shout out to Willr0ck for the WINNOW logo and titles, as well as all the re-renderers in the community. Historian is too kind to me in that intro, I'm just a guy with too much time on my hands and diary ADHD. He's the star and rightfully took home half this year's DotY awards, having me along for the ride is an honour.

Those and my usual headdress allowed for proper ventilation. Now in this lucha mask, rubbing all slimy and rubbery against my sweaty skin, I felt like I wanted to spill the contents of my stomach onto the floor. It didn't help that the heat from the venue's lights had turned my masked head into a mini greenouse. But for all the frustration, I did not yell or scream. The gimmick revamp had given me a break from being the nutty Sheik and I enjoyed every minute of it. Running the company had me slip out of character more and more, so the change came at the right time. I could forget about maintaining the gimmick and focus on being the booker. And what a show I'd booked for the end of March.</p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46150" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Piledriver Wrestling presents:</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Wrestle Bowl 2020</span></strong></p><p><strong> Saturday, Week 4 March, 2020</strong></p><p><strong> Live from the Centerpiece Bridge, SC</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> Main Event</strong></p><p><strong> Piledriver Championship title match</strong></p><p> Logan Diaz © vs Reaper</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Co-Main Event</strong></p><p><strong> Singles Grudge match</strong></p><p> Masked Patriot vs Xavi Ferrera</p><p> </p><p> <strong>No Holds Barred match</strong></p><p> Riley McManus vs Cali Slick</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Piledriver Tag Team titles match</strong></p><p> The Heartbreak Express vs The Good Ol' Boys ©</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Opening contest</strong></p><p><strong> Women's Tag Team match</strong></p><p> Brooke Tyler & Eri Sato vs Claire Winters & Nicole Pyle</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It was a stacked card, from top to bottom. But not like the one for the Rip Chord Invitational was. Or the Sam Keith Classic, for that matter. There was no tournament going on and I'd only booked two title matches all in all, but I was damn proud of every single thing on it. Piledriver Wrestling was no longer an assorment of nobodies, has beens and drop outs. Everyone on that card had made their name with our fans and the few ones who hadn't were those who'd just joined with all the momentum in the world. Every match had a story going into it and stakes on the line for all involved. Any of the top three matches could headline a show in the East Coast. Any of <em>three</em>. Of course, I'd put the title match in the main event, thinking anything else would devaluate the strap, but still, Patriot versus Ferrera? McManus versus Slick? Those were indy dream matches, every one of them. No wonder we were kicking RIPW's butt month in and month out.</p><p> </p><p> Earlier this year, Lee had set a new goal for the company. He wanted us to have more than half a million in the bank by the end of 2022. Up to that point, we were losing anything from 6 to 20 thousand a month, so you can imagine my reaction when I heard him. I kept looking at the roster and wondering who I'd cut. Then January rolled into February and somehow, we'd made a profit. Nothing fancy, something like 5 grand, but a profit nonetheless. Then February wrapped up and we'd made over 10 thousand, putting us over the half million threshold already. I was hoping we'd score a TV deal before July, in time to broadcast this year's Sam Keith Classic. Then we could go back to Florida once again. Pick up where we left when War for Territory was originally conceived. Expand from the Mid Atlantic into the South East. Then the East Coast, the entire States, the World!</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:24px;">MNYYYYYEHEHEHEHE.....</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Spend 25 years living a gimmick 24/7, I guess it never really leaves you.</p>

Jebediah looked like he had this won but just as he set himself up to hit the Sundown Splash, Ferrera barely got out of the way and he came up empty, allowing the former two time champion to hit the High Impact Frog Splash and go into the cover, albeit with some extra leverage from the ropes in order to make sure the big man would not get out before the count of three.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: “The Athlete” Xavi Ferrera, by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="rCrbMWQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rCrbMWQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="uN4bdE9.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/uN4bdE9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="FHUEpiU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FHUEpiU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Ferrera celebrated his victory like he’d just won the Piledriver Championship for a third time until the crowd’s boos turned to cheers when Masked Patriot came out to confront him. Referencing Ferrera’s promo two weeks ago, Patriot said Xavi may have finally defeated Jebediah, but in the many times he’s faced him, it always ended the same way, with Masked Patriot victorious. Not to be outdone, 24 year old Logan Diaz made his entrance holding the Piledriver Championship belt up in the air, properly highlighting the big match feel of this champion versus champion and generation versus generation clash. Now clearly on the tail end of his career, Garcia used his sharpened ring IQ to force Logan into wrestling the kind of match that suited him: slow, methodical, not that impactful, full of mind games and dirty tricks. Even so, Garcia’s stamina is not what it used to be and his body began to give up on him after eight or so minutes into the match, leading to a desperate eye rake on his part. By that point well aware of his opponent’s tactics, Diaz was able to dodge but the rake sadly caught referee Alvin Lavin, who was temporarily blinded. Diaz hit the Belly to Belly Suplex, went for the cover but with no one but the fans to count, it didn’t do him any good. 9. Damage Inc 2018 Damage Inc 2020 Saturday, Week 4 February, 2020 Live from the Centerpiece Bridge, SC w Sawyer Sports Services (Torres, Bitch & Trigg, with "Playboy" Jake Sawyer) w Lora Washington, Nicole Pyle & Miss Atlantic Wrestling (with Masked Patriot) Sawyer Sports Services looked like a well oiled machine in the opening match, focusing their offense on Nicole Pyle, who they saw as the weakest link of their opponents' team. Mariana Torres was the only one who seemed to deviate from that plan however, apparently looking to score a submission over the Piledriver and COTT Women's champion. As the only member of Sawyer's team to have held championship gold in the past, she knew very well that ending the match that way would earn her a title match down the road but the only thing it did here was cause some dissonance between her and her partners, with Miss Atlantic Wrestling able to capitalize when she caught Torres in the Kentucky Fried Chickenwing for the tap. Winners: Lora Washington, Nicole Pyle & Miss Atlantic Wrestling, by submission Mere seconds after the bell rang, Brooke Tyler came out of the curtain with a mic in hand in order to lay down the challenge and request a match for the Piledriver Women's title. Washington wasn't having any of it though and got on the mic as well to shoot Tyler down, saying she won't be handed anything because of her heritage or success elsewhere. As far as things go in Piledriver Wrestling, she still needs to prove she's worth a shot. Despite losing to Cali Slick at War for Territory #26, Hustle Muvva was backstage and trying to use the aftermath of that match in his favor as he tried to hustle El Masked Sheik into hiring him so he could get back at Slick. It looked like he'd be getting a second chance, especially when he suggested using the potential of a TV deal to pressure the powers that be to offer him a contract, but El Masked Sheik was adamant: no matter what happened to either of them, no matter the cost, he was not really here to offer any TV deal. As a matter of fact, he intended to (ab)use his power to prevent such a thing from happening, in turn leaving Hustle Muvva with a baffled expression on his face as he walked away. Cali Slick vs Nate "The Great" DeMarcus Now a full time Piledriver employee, Cali Slick wrestled his first "proper" match against the recovered DeMarcus, who was out to reclaim his spot after missing this year's Rip Chord Invitational due to injury. This was a no-nonesense, hard hitting, physical contest between two men with pretty similar styles, though Slick's rugged street fighting approach and hardcore past led to some unorthodox spots as opposed to the more straightforward athletic style of DeMarcus, who eventually fell victim to a Slick-Back chokeslam. Winner: Cali Slick, by pinfall Piledriver United States title match w James Diaz vs "The Monster" Annihilus © (with Reaper) A match set up at War for Territory #26 when the Diaz cousins beat Annihilus and Reaper, this one immediately drove home the point of Logan's absence due to his big main event title match. The powerful but inexperienced James was there on his own, proving to be a wrestler far better than his age and experience should allow, though between him and the monstrous but plodding champion, their styles didn't exactly seem to mesh well and the match unceremoniously ended with Reaper headbutting James while Annihilus was blocking the referee's view. A ground-shaking choke slam after, Diaz was down and Annihilus simply but a foot on top of him for the pin. Winner: "The Monster" Annihilus, by pinfall after Reaper interfered "The Monster" Annihilus makes defence number 3 of his Piledriver United States title The heels weren't content with a simple victory though and Reaper got into the ring with a mean smile on his face as the announcers broke down the story: DeMarcus was still recovering from a rough match against Slick and would Logan Diaz make the save, risking his own well being and showing up under 100% in his main event title match? That question was quickly answered when Logan Diaz rushed to the ring without hesitation in order to save his little cousin. Annihilus was no match for the Piledriver champion, but Reaper was fresh and unharmed, leading to a one on one brawl with Logan that had fans cheering until security flooded the ring to break it up as the Centerpiece Bridge echoed with chants of "let them fight" "Ice Cold" Claire Winters vs Eri "Strong Style" Sato Following Sato's betrayal at the Rip Chord Invitational when she turned on her friend and teammate Claire Winters, the two women met one on one in the ring and the outcome did not disappoint. Two mirror images of each other, hard hitters with precision and grace, Winters and Sato worked a match that 5SSW or WINNOW would happily present, though the finish itself showed that Sato's turn to the dark side came with looser morals as she wasn't above using the ropes to her avantage in order to steal a tainted victory. Winner: Eri "Strong Style" Sato, by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage. Before the big main event, a pre-recorded message from "The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera aired on the big screen. Cocky as ever, Ferrera admitted he hasn't been at his finest lately, first losing the title to Diaz and then getting knocked out of the Rip Chord Invitational, but he has a plan to bounce back. As he thought of potential opponents to defeat and earn himself a shot at the title, he realized he's beaten everyone there is to beat at the top... except Jebediah. They've only wrestled each other once and their match last October ended in a DQ. A decisive victory over the big amish would be a huge feather on his cap and enough to propel him back into the spotlight. Piledriver Championship title match Logan Diaz © vs Jerry Lee Williams Following his surprise win at War for Territory #26 to become the new top contender, Williams headlined this show in a match against the Piledriver champion himself, Logan Diaz, who was obviously still reeling from the aftereffects of his earlier confrontation with Annihilus and Reaper. The setup made for a very open-ended bout as Williams sought to make the best of this unexpected assist and a big neckbreaker almost got him there before Diaz was able to kick out of the cover. It took every ounce of determination from the defending champion's part to make it back into the match but he was able to do so, move after move, until he finally hit a Belly to Belly Suplex into the cover after fifteen or so minutes into the match to retain. Winner: Logan Diaz, by pinfall Logan Diaz makes defence number 2 of his Piledriver Championship title Williams just couldn't believe how he wasted his shot and as soon as he got his back off the mat, he threw a tantrum and got on the mic to call it quits; frist he gets eliminated from the Rip Chord Invitational, now he failed to capture the title. His final words were "Elvis has left the building" before he slammed the mic down so hard it almost blasted the speakers and rushed backstage in obvious frustration. Show Rating:
  10. Today's announcement caters more to mod makers, but I'll admit there's some interesting stuff that players can do with the Quick Fill add-on too. In 2018 there were a bunch of diaries that were using new workers, custom workers, workers made using the Road to Glory rules, mainly dojo graduates etc. People looking to scratch that itch and play such a game can now hit the Quick Fill button to randomly generate a starting roster for their promotion.

  14. That's an interesting question. To take it a step further, given an earlier post about the different growth strategies depend on where a company's based, I'm assuming moving your HQ would also potentially result in a different requirement/strategy to hit the next size level? They'll probably stay under contract and become active there, same way in TEW16 if someone who isn't active in your region shows up for a show under a Trade Deal or Alliance Loan then becomes available, as far as I remember.
  15. I get the challenges of relocating to a totally different place, but close ones are a thing too. Like moving out of a low importance region or trying to dodge a Regional war. In my Piledriver save/diary, I was based in South East US as a local company but then bought out MAW who were small. I wrote it out as a merger and carrying on their legacy, but in game terms, given their increased pop in the Mid Atlantic, it made sense to hold shows there. Then there's their roster being known there and the COTT rule of not holding shows in other promotions' home territory. Really wish I could move my home base there, so today's announcement struck a nerve. Likewise, in my RtG save, I was based in SE Europe, a low importance area that kept dropping in importance, which in turn held back my growth.
  16. Today's announcement about being able to move our company's home region had me go full Daniel Bryan.
  17. Back to the Future, Monday Week 4 of July 2013 NGW Back to the Future (Weekly TV show) Held on Monday, Week 4 of July 2013 Venue: O2 ABC Glasgow, Scotland, UK Attendance: 2.061, Ratings: 0.72 (544.050 viewers), Shown on Continental Sports X1 John Silver vs Hardcore Hernandez vs Sergei Kalashnov Three way high flying action to kick off the show in a match full of fast paced combat and spectacular moves but of not much siginificance in terms of story. True to his moniker, Hardcore Hernandez hit a couple of borderline suicidal dives but his high risk offense didn't pay off in the end as he ended up going through a table, clearing the way for Silver to hit his Silversault finisher on Kalashnov for the victory. Winner: John Silver, by pinfall Backstage, Sebastian Koller and Viper McKenna are in the middle of a discussion when the Czars surround them. It's not an ambush though; the Russian group is simply there to break the news to the power couple of the Outcasts. w "Golden Delicious" Melanie Flyman vs Megumi Nakajima (with Jeri Behr) In the aftermath of J-Ro's promo and match announcement, Behr leads her Girl Power teammate to the ring for the next match against the veteran high flyer from Australia, Melanie Flyman. Given her whole ninja-based moveset, Flyman's style meshes beautifully with the graceful precision strikes and slick grappling of Nakajima to result in a beautiful match that Flyman ends up winning via pinfall after she hits Nakajima with the Ninjitsu Strike. Winner: Melanie Flyman, by pinfall w "Mile High" Adam Matravers vs Henrik Van Bon (with Frank Van Heer) Essentially the flipside of last week's Cruiserweight match where current champion Christopher Lister faced Van Heer with Van Bon on his corner, the title challenger is up in action here against Van Bon with his Double Dutch partner on the sidelines. Like his teammate before him, Van Bon has a chance to show what he can do as a singles competitor and as it turns out he's a pretty competent one too, however Matravers manages to use his slight size and weight advantage to maneuver his opponent in place for the Mile High Moonsault to pick up the win. Winner: Adam Matravers, by pinfall Edward Cornell & Wael Hossam vs The Gentleman and the Pitbull Wrapping up the go-home show before Terror Rising is a big tag match between the challenger for the NGW Heavyweight title in Cornell and Wossam on one side and the duo of Frye and Howard on the other. Both teams pack a potent combination of power, tenacity, technical skill and charisma so the match is every bit as good as the setup promises. Momentum swings back and forth as the two teams trade blows and holds with both looking like they could be winning the contest, but right around the twenty minute mark of this epic confrontation... ...Champagne Lover decides to come out and take a close ringside look at his scheduled opponent. Although he doesn't get involved in the match in any way, his presence is enough to enrage Cornell, who gets in the champion's face, leaving Hossam with no one to tag in as Frye exploits this opportunity drag him back into the center of the ring and to slap on the Royal Armbar for the tap. Winners: The Gentleman and the Pitbull, by submission after Champagne Lover distracted Cornell Once the bell rings, Cornell realizes what just happened and returns to the ring in order to check up on Hossam as Champagne Lover grabs a microphone from the timekeeper's table. Masked Patriot led Lora Washington to the ring and stuck to her corner throughout the match doing a great job of encouraging the "American Woman" but true to his character, never himself getting involved in the match in any way. The fight was extremely physical, as are most of JJ's matches, but there was also the underlying story of the two women's courses that added an extra layer of drama and storytelling to this slow fuse match. Washington began her career with Babes of Sin City as little more than a pretty face, before working on her wrestling skills to move on to NotBPW. She had a point to prove here against strong style Jarvis who's already made a name for herself in SCCW, QAW and AAA before taking the COTT Women's title from another esteemed worker in Foxxy LaRue. The opening exchanges to feel each other out slowly turned into grappling and some stiff strikes as the match escalated to the final few minutes of false finishes, but Washington finally managed to climb the mountain and hit Jarvis with the third July 4th Jam of the match to finally hold her down for the count and win the title.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: "American Woman" Lora Washington, by pinfall</strong></p><p><strong> "American Woman" Lora Washington wins the COTT Womens title. </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="rCrbMWQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rCrbMWQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Show Rating:</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="87E3trK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/87E3trK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p>
