Who will be the one to hold the COTT World Heavyweight title up high tonight?</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="M4SOg7D.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/M4SOg7D.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="7rS8uzo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7rS8uzo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> A pre-taped message from Vinny Cruz airs next, in which the sleazy manager says he understands the frustration of Howlin' Mad Mort and Whitehorse Whittaker for not being chosen to compete in the Sam Keith Classic, which is why they attacked the Good Ol' Boys at Headstrong. Both teams are in tonight's opening match so eventually they'll collide and he can't be there for both. Instead, he has chosen to stay neutral and stay away from the ring, as picking sides again would only make matters worse for his Cruz Control stable.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><img alt="IqChfad.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IqChfad.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> #1 contender for the Piledriver Tag Team titles Elimination match</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="MzjfHKV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/MzjfHKV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="oSBICFE.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oSBICFE.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> Double Diaz</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="oiCenqK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oiCenqK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Idx6BNr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Idx6BNr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> The Boys from the Yukon</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="OMuDnHg.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OMuDnHg.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="4LTspFc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4LTspFc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> The Good Ol' Boys</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="gDXGKOl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gDXGKOl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="R9KIBTS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/R9KIBTS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> The Mid Atlantic Express</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> As soon as the bell rings, the Express leave the ring, content to let everyone else fight it out so they can pick apart the remains later. Langton and Fitzpaine trade blows with the Diaz cousins to start the match, doing their best to isolate young James on their corner. Easier said than done, of course, but the Good Ol' Boys match him in size and have both the numbers and experience edge. The cover attempt though is broken up by Whittaker and that leads to what everyone had been expecting all along, a brawl between the grizzled Canadian lumberjacks and the Iowa farm boys. Meanwhile, James and Logan Diaz go after the Mid Atlantic Express outside the ring; well aware that the battlefield favors their opponents, Collier and the Architect quickly slide back into the ring, where Collier is trampled upon impact with the massive Mort while the Architect gets hit with the Iowa Harvest to get pinned by Fitzpaine while Langton keeps Whittaker busy with big forearm shots.</p><p> </p><p> Good Ol' Boys are in control but before they can continue beating down the Boys from the Yukon, the Diaz cousins get back into the ring; the smaller Logan goes to work on Langton while James takes on Fitzpaine. It's an uphill battle though and one he ends up losing when he gets hit with "Tiiiiiiiiiiimber" and Whittaker makes the cover while cousin Logan is still down. </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winners: The Boys from the Yukon, by pinfall</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="rCrbMWQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rCrbMWQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="orMSYPb.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/orMSYPb.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="k2Enuj8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/k2Enuj8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="PSW6j5L.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/PSW6j5L.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Backstage, the Heartbreak Express are watching the action and their future opponents before Lisa Bowen turns to the camera and delivers a promo to hype up the title match. There's little actual wrestling and absolutely no aerial moves, but between Winchester's barroom brawling style and Wolfe's blend of slams and suplexes, the match never gets boring. Of course, everyone expects Annihilus and Sheik Ali Al-Avatar to show up and mess the match for Wolfe but they never do, even when he picks up Winchester for his Running Powerslam finisher. When the ref starts the count, Annihilus does indeed come out but the super heavyweight is so slow and plodding, he never makes it to the ring in time to break up the pin and Wolfe actually ends up winning the match to become the new Piledriver United States champion!</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: George Wolfe, by pinfall</strong></p><p><strong> George Wolfe wins the Piledriver United States title</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="mwL0z0W.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mwL0z0W.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="3XM4dah.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3XM4dah.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="WuYw4C6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WuYw4C6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="lh2JDXB.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/lh2JDXB.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> The title is handed to Wolfe and though the match is over, he defiantly stays in the ring for the imminent clash with former tag team partner Annihilus. Returning from a minor rib injury is fan favorite and longest reigning Piledriver champion Masked Patriot. Xavi Ferrera is not only the current but also the only two time Piledriver champion. As for Riley McManus, he's probably the underdog in terms of achievements but he's been with the company since day one; he's held the top prize and remains a dangerous competitor at all times. The match itself delivers on the hype with quality action that starts off slow and never stops building up. Ferrera is out to prove a point and although the setup would favor him acting all weaselly, he stays in the match and wrestles like a proper athlete. McManus has a huge spot where he blocks a Ferrerarana, then lifts up his opponent in a powerbomb-ish predicament to bounce him off the top rope and fall behind into a flapjack. Had the hold been different, this could have been a Slingshot Suplex, but now McManus only gets away with a two count. Xavi's top spot is a High Impact Frog Splash he hits to the outside of the ring on Masked Patriot, taking him out of action for quite some time. He gets back just in time to join the other two men fighting on the corner and execute a 3 man Tower of Doom, from which he rolls on top of McManus for the pin.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Masked Patriot, by pinfall</strong></p><p><strong> Masked Patriot wins the COTT World Heavyweight title</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="IqChfad.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IqChfad.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Show Rating:</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="rCrbMWQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rCrbMWQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46150" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Author's note: I usually write the shows as I run them, but I ran this one as soon as I posted the card and I'm only writing it out now, so I knew the results when everyone's predictions came in. That would explain my comments on people siding with Hollands just because she has a nickname. Also, shout out to Theheel for being the only one who predicted the main event right, even if his train of thought felt absolutely crazy. Xavi's busy defending a title already and too young for such a big push, McManus has his hands full with the MAW Express and Garner, so I went with Patriot. He's in the position where Scythe was not long ago, too big for my roster and representing us in various territories until someone eventually snatches him up.</div></blockquote>
  2. <p>Diaz family win, cowboys return to CWL, Slick already loses to Smith... I was about to say something along the lines of "Historian gonna Historian" but then Strong drew with Quine and I was drawn back into the show. 5. Thank you very much, moafnsteel. I think I've found my groove as far as storytelling goes, the roster has cleared up and everyone in the midcard or higher more or less is busy with something to do.
  6. Piledriver Wrestling is proud to announce they now rank as a "Regional" promotion on pro wrestling's esteemed website of http://www.totalextremewrestling.com Following his big victory over long time rival Riley McManus, "Class Act" Syd Collier has signed a new 3 year deal with Piledriver Wrestling. COTT World Heavyweight champion Bulldozer Brandon Smith suffered a career-threatening injury while wrestling for Black Canvas Grappling in Japan when he herniated a spinal disk. Doctors estimate it will be a full year before Smith recovers. In light of Smith's injury, the Confederation of the Territories has decided to crown a new champion in the next show run by an alliance member, Piledriver Wrestling's War for Territory #21. As agreed by the COTT, eligible contenders should be current or former holders of the company's top title, which has led to the show's main event between current title holder Xavi Ferrera and former champions Riley McManus and Masked Patriot.
  7. Headstong 2019 Piledriver Wrestling Presents Headstong 2019 Saturday, Week 4 August, 2019 Live from the North Carolina Biker Museum, NC The Mid Atlantic Express open the show as they hit the ring to cut a promo on Riley McManus and Quentrel Garner. The duo talks down the "unproven" rookie and say they requested a match to teach him a lesson, which they got, but only if in return Collier would wrestle McManus in the main event. Right on cue, McManus and Garner walk out and Riley gets on the mic to talk about how veterans should teach and inspire rookies, not bully them. He also brings up how Collier has never defeated him one on one all these years and everyone takes their positions for the opening match to begin. ww The Architect (with Syd Collier) vs Quentrel Garner (with Riley McManus) Bigger and stronger than his opponent, Garner has the advantage in this match but more than once the Architect exploits his inexperience to gain control of the match. Collier and McManus guide and cheer their man on and fans are treated to a match actually much better than it had any right to be, mainly thanks to the instant chemistry the two competitors seem to have. Garner matches the Architect move for move in a great display of wrestling (especially considering he only has a single year as a pro) but this means he does get a bit too cocky and pays for it when he ends up tapping out to the Blueprint. Winner: The Architect, by submission w Double Diaz vs The Death Squad Probably the only babyface team that can somewhat match the Death Squad in terms of sheer size and power, the Diaz cousins take to the ring and James is off to an interesting exchange with Wolfe, who of course carries him through most of the first few minutes of the match, being the more experienced grappler of the two. Showcasing his family's signature strength and warrior spirit, James is able to withstand the attacks and even kick out of a pin attempt to tag in Logan. Wolfe retreats to his corner and tags in Annihilus, but instead of going toe to toe with the super heavyweight, Logan shows great ring IQ as he dances around his opponent in an attempt to exhaust him. The slow, plodding Annihilus is quick to anger and sensing another outburst that might lead to a DQ, Wolfe blind tags himself in. This leads to a bit of tension between the Death Squad and their manager, but Diaz is all to happy to shove Wolfe onto Annihilus and send the big man right onto Sheik before catching the rebounding Wolfe into a Belly to Belly Suplex for the pin. Winners: Double Diaz, by pinfall The match is over and the Diaz cousins return backstage with a smile on their face while the heels are left in the ring with tension in the air. Angry stares quickly turn to shoving (Annihilus isn't really keen on talking anyway) and Sheik joins in when he slaps Wolfe, clearly unhappy with his antics. Wolfe lays out the Sheik with a headbutt and that triggers Annihilus into wrapping his massive arm around Wolfe's throat. Looks like the Death Squad are about to implode after a bad run in the Sam Keith Classic and losing the COTT titles, but then... Jebediah, of all people, makes his way to the ring and unloads with big shots on Annihilus. Being fresh and unharmed, the amish big man is able to get the better of a worn out Annihilus and force him to retreat with the Sheik's remains, leaving Jeb and Wolfe in the ring. Lisa Bowen also makes her way to ringside and grabs a mic from the timekeeper's table, cutting a promo to tell Wolfe and the fans the Death Squad is over, but in case he's looking for a new manager, someone who really knows how to lead their clients to success... she's available. ww Piledriver Women's title match "Poison Ivy" Mariana Torres © (with "Playboy" Jake Sawyer) vs Miss Atlantic Wrestling (with Masked Patriot) First of two title matches for the night and one worked in true oldschool fashion as both competitors are known for their focus on technical wrestling. Looking at the masked Miss Atlantic Wrestling and the (formerly masked) champion, one might expect a fair share of lucha libre and high flying, but neither lady ever leaves her feet to take to the air; instead, they trade holds back and forth, whether standing or grappling on the mat, chaining them into long sequences of holds and counterholds that focus mostly on the arms, since both wrestlers utilize arm-based submission holds as their finishing move of choice. A pretty open, competitive match from bell to bell with equally good performances from either side, this one ends with Miss Atlantic Wresting tapping out to the Venus Fly-Trap, even if Torres had to sneakily rake the eyes first in order to create an opening for herself to appply the hold in the middle of the ring. Winner: Mariana Torres, by submission after using underhanded tactics Mariana Torres makes defence number 2 of her Piledriver Womens title Chaos ensues after the final bell, as the other two members of Sawyer Sports Services make their way to the ring with nasty intentions. Before they can get between the ropes though, Kick City Connection rush out and jump them from behind, leading to an all out brawl in and out of the ring that takes plenty of security staff to break up. ww Piledriver Tag Team titles match The Heartbreak Express © (with Lisa Bowen) vs The Good Ol' Boys (with Vinny Cruz) After besting the Heartbreak Express in the Sam Keith Classic and winning the whole tournament, the Good Ol' Boys find themselves in a rematch for the Piledriver Tag Team titles and they do so with a distinct advantage as on top of their size and power advantage, they are facing the champions after a beatdown two weeks earlier, courtesy of the Boys from the Yukon. Needham and Liotta try to use their speed to tire and overwhelm their challengers, but lingering damage slowly takes its toll and once the Good Ol' Boys do manage to get some offense rolling it only gets worse for the defending champions. As if that wasn't enough... Howlin' Mad Mort and Whitehorse Whittaker show up again. Cruz tries to tell them everything's alright and they should return backstage, but in a shocking moment, the Boys from the Yukon pick him up and hit him with their "Tiiiiimber" tag team finisher! This of course throws the Good Ol' Boys off pace and the two heel teams get in each other's faces. Referee Alvin Lavin tries to get in the middle and send the grizzled Canadians to the locker room but ends up getting suckerpunched in all the pushing and shoving. Seeing him out, Mort and Whittaker kick Wooton and Langton in the midsection, then knock their heads against each other and spike them to the mat with stereo DDTs before leaving the scene just as Lavin recovers to see Liotta on top of Langton and make the count. Winners: The Heartbreak Express, by pinfall after the Boys from the Yukon interfered The Heartbreak Express make defence number 3 of their Piledriver Tag Team titles Backstage, Logan Diaz and Xavi Ferrera are caught on camera in the middle of an argument. Diaz says he's had enough and will end this... Where it all begins again! Him and Ferrera, one on one, with the title on the line if he's still champion by then. Before the Piledriver champion can respond, both men are knocked out of the frame by Reaper, who comes in charging to throw his full weight onto both men and then bully the cameraman to leave. ww "Class Act" Syd Collier (with The Architect) vs Riley McManus (with Quentrel Garner) Collier versus McManus may just be the longest still ongoing feud in Piledriver Wrestling but seeing the two men go at it once again reminds everyone why it's lasted so long. From hard strikes to big slams, nasty suplexes and slick technical wrestling, this match has it all and masterfully builds up tension to bigger moves, more drama and the crescendo that is the finish. Having Garner around seems to distract McManus once or twice though, disrupting the flow of the match at times and the Mid Atlantic Express do notice; exploiting the rookie's emotions, the Architect taunts him for his loss earlier and tries to provoke him into starting a ringside brawl. Again, McManus is distracted and Collier finally gets his chance to take him down and apply the Texas Cloverleaf. A shocked Garner aims for the breakup, but Architect grabs him and slaps on the Blueprint once more. Both faces end up caught in the individual finishing moves of Collier and the Architect, leading to McManus finally tapping out and a huge, if tainted, victory for Collier who celebrates as if he won the Piledriver championship title. Winner: "Class Act" Syd Collier, by submission after interference from The Architect Show Rating:

With both teams at one victory each, this was the match to end the feud and it was surprisingly even as for all their chemistry, Wolfe and Annihilus seemed somewhat mistrusting or bitter for what happened at the tournament, which allowed Going Coastal to get some offense rolling. Wolfe did his part wrestling the CZCW contenders and even hit Fernandes with a scary-looking delayed brainbuster as he sought to capitalize on any lasting effects from the chair shot he took two weeks ago. Annihilus was extremely slow and plodding against the opposition though and after a series of high velocity moves aimed at his knee, he was brought down just long enough for both men to hit their big aerial spots on him, leading to California Love Machine's Coast-Liner for the shocking pin.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winners: Going Coastal, by pinfall</strong></p><p><strong> Going Coastal win the COTT World Tag Team titles</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="ozLd3Bm.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ozLd3Bm.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="cfAEiGT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cfAEiGT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="aMXABmX.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/aMXABmX.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="2rzwtJa.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2rzwtJa.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="FHUEpiU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FHUEpiU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> "Playboy" Jake Sawyer is cutting a promo to hype up the Piledriver Women's champion, when Patriot Power walk by. What he may lack in power, Diaz makes up for in sheer intensity and determination, moreso than usual given that this match came about after Reaper attacked his cousin James backstage at the Sam Keith Classic. This all-or-nothing attitude has Diaz on offense for most of the match with big strikes as he tries to wear down Reaper so he can whip him to the ropes and catch him on the rebound in order to somehow execute his Belly to Belly Suplex finisher. There is no clearer indicator for the flow of the match than the change in Ferrera's tone on commentary, so much that the Piledriver champion puts down the headset and walks up to the side of the ring to talk trash in Logans face. All he gets for his efforts though is a big headbutt from Reaper that earns the big man an unusual face pop, the distraction however allows Diaz to capitalize with a swinging neckbreaker followed by a cobra clutch that has Reaper's eyes roll back until referee Alvin Lavin, possibly fearing a concussion, deems him unable to continue and calls for the bell.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Logan Diaz, by stoppage after botched distraction by Xavi Ferrera</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="mwL0z0W.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mwL0z0W.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Show Rating:</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="rCrbMWQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rCrbMWQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p>

Harker was hellbent for revenge as well as a victory over the former Black Canvas World champion, a situation that made his usual animalistic style even wilder. On the flipside, that also made him more reckless, meaning that Funakoshi had to withstand the onslaught and somehow find a way to use Harker's carelessness against him, which he did just short of the 15 minute mark to win the match with his dreaded finisher.</p><p> <strong>In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Funakoshi defeated Animal Harker in 14:14 by pinfall with a Butterfly Backbreaker</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="At6zmyr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/At6zmyr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="PBv4Hhr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/PBv4Hhr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="25UZG0h.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/25UZG0h.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="3gGaTGc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3gGaTGc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> Bunrakuken Torii vs Kiyotaka</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Much like the Challengers Series title match earlier, the marquee match was a celebration of the promotion's six year run, a showcase of how it's turned talented rookies like Torii and Kiyotaka into top-notch puroresu combatants. The match began with a mutual show of respect and off to the races we were, with the competitors pacing themselves as they gradually pushed each other with stiffer moves. Torii's signature machine gun chops left a mark on his opponent's chest that only got worse as the match progressed, while Kiyotaka was chasing Torii's limbs as he sought to limit the effectiveness of the man's offense while also softening him up for his feared Kimura lock. In the final minutes of the match, Kiyotaka ducked under a Spinning Forearm Smash only to grab the arm after but he couldn't slap on the hold proper and Torii escaped. During the second attempt, Kiyotaka wasn't so lucky and he caught the blow right to the chin, a knockout strike that put him down for the count as Torii picked up the win.</p><p> <strong>In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Bunrakuken Torii defeated Kiyotaka in 18:25 by pinfall with a Spinning Forearm Smash</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="sma3Die.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/sma3Die.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Show Rating:</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="At6zmyr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/At6zmyr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p>

Such was his panic trying to get out of a tight spot at the time and it shows still: more than once, Kalashnov seems hesitant to hit a big move or try and score the pin. Despite his off moments, he and young Boronin seem to really hit it off against each other and the young Ukranian looks really hellbent on proving himself, which in turn makes for a pretty exciting and competitive bout. 21. <p>That is AMAZING work on Harlem Haynes, shipshirt!</p><p> </p><p> Would it be too much to request a version without the hat or one with a beanie? I'd love to use something similar for Raheem Stash and feel like the big man could do with a facelift.</p>
  22. <p>Couldn't help but smile with John Silver and Ryan Steel. Ryan's render looks original, but I'm guessing Silver's is a Zeus Maximillion one or something?</p><p> </p><p> Also, that Fat Cats promo about declaring war on the Stone family makes me thing the big inbound star you teased might be "The 24 hour party animal" Edd Stone.</p><p> </p><p> I like to think of Slick as being in kind of an Axl Rotten situation, solid brawler who just found himself in a small hardcore promotion and has to play the part.</p><p> </p><p> Main Event: <strong>The Mission</strong> vs. Spade & Campbell w/ Bowen</p><p> <em>If Ranger's back, the Mission needs to build some momentum. 23. Slick won gold. And he did so by being the one to defeat David Stone. All is right in the world.
  24. Happy to read about the ability to search for established tag teams in today's update. It's been a long time coming and will make the hiring experience even smoother.
  25. The Sam Keith Classic IX card, brackets & narrative "CURSES UNTO YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN AND THEIR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN!" I was angry and apparently that was the emotional state that made sure I wasn't sliding out of character. I was also yelling inside an empty Biker Museum in North Carolina which, while awkward, at least guaranteed there would be no angry neighbors knocking on my door again. I had set up the brackets for the Sam Keith Classic ahead of time, in order to hype up the participating teams. As far as representatives from our company went, the group was heel-heavy, with only the Heartbreak Express as faces. I was counting on the guest teams playing face, but then Thunder & Lightning reported in saying 4C had them both playing heel and they wouldn't switch to faces for one night, then go back to being the villains again. I had to change my plans again. First, take out one heel team. The replacements would be harder to handle, but at least I had a couple of weeks until the show. Could have them represent the unemployed of the indy circuit, those who were talented but didn't have a steady job with a name company right now. The underdogs, in a way. The voice of the voiceless. That's when the epiphany hit me The Classic was not the only reason I was angry. After losing Daniels to AAA just weeks ago, it was FCW this time that had come calling for one of my hot young prospects in Quentrel Garner. Of course he'd take the job and I'd have to cut him loose, but looking up the totalextremewrestling.com website for inspiration on which tag team I should bring in for the Classic, Garner's issue popped up in my mind again, so I thought I'd check out the promotion rankings. Of course! When Cip Conduit landed a job in Puerto Rico, we were a local company drawing double digit crowds in a shrimp grillhouse in Florida. After joining the Confederation of the Territories, buying out MAW and moving our base to the Mid Atlantic area, we were a big deal. Bigger than FCW, at least. Which meant Garner hadn't technically signed with a bigger promotion than us, meaning he could still stick around. "I AM INVINCIBLE!"
