The popularity gain on B shows is miniscule.

My B show is normally anchored by a couple of veterans who then in turn are pretty much there to help the rookies improve. So I try and keep a low level belt on the show. Veteran has it. Rookie chases. If they rookie is good enough they might win the strap and lose it to a different veteran then be transitioned to the main show. If the rookie doesn’t progress as I hoped then they get moved on and someone else gets a chance. I’ve found it a fairly decent way of building stars. Plus normally keeps someone in their twilight fairly happy as they lick up a fair few victories.

I know that company popularity isn't affected by 'B' Shows, but is wrestlers popularity? Will using my under-card effectively on a 'B' Show help them to gain small amounts of popularity over time?

I believe so, but its a slow process.

Scythe I look at as a younger Taker in the same vain as a Skull.

I’ve always booked Skull as Taker Sting merger. So the sort of hanging around in the rafters Sting elements. But in the ring more of an old skool Taker being hard to knock off his feet. Not feeling pain etc. Also I’ve alqaya tried to give him story lines that don’t involve the title. So giving him a different reason to feud with someone.

  7. In that case, here's the list of female workers with Great or better Sex Appeal available to hire for SWF at the start of the game who will also consider working for SWF with their default product settings-

Alexis Lee Littlefeather, Alina America, Carol Singer, Charity Sweet, Christy Higgins, Electric Dreamer, Golden Delicious, Jaime Quine, Joanne Rodriguez, Nadia Snow, Steffi Chee, Steph Blake, Suzanne Brazzle, Tracy Brendon and Zoe Ammis.

Now, if you want to be a little more selective and add in a minimum of Good Star Quality and Charisma, that leaves Alexis, Charity, J-Ro, Nadia, Suzanne, Tracy, and Zoe. Not a bad start-up, since most are already seasoned hands in the ring, and Charity has a ton of upside.

    Top stuff!!

Basically with SWF immediately it’s about pushing Bruce to get the last out of his pop. Then short term it about pushing Valiant to be the next big baby face. Then long term it’s tsking some of these youngsters and making them great. Overall I’m enjoying it thus far!

Literally everything being superficial and based on looks!

  9. If you have a good diplomacy rating, a good locker room rating, and a spot of luck, you can slowly set him straight through punishing him every time he screws up and hoping you get a good reaction from the NBT.

Also pretty sure if he has a mentor that is a good backstage presence, the mentor can/will slowly set him right-er too.

But yeah, punish him until he either hates your guts or until he flies right.

Surrounding him with good locker room presences will also drown out his bad nature, which will increase backstage rating and make incidents far less prevalent, so having one bad apple won't sour the batch.

Finally, the higher up the card they are, the more they affect backstage rating. So if he's a midcarder right now, he won't be as bad as if he is a main eventer.

Cool. Currently he's a lower mid. But I don't want to give him too much of a push if he's going to be a mega pain in the back side!

Since you've got one broadcast deal with large coverage in multiple countries and can easily get another A-show on the air with a similar network, what I like to do is go Medium or Big in the U.S., then I use it for RIPW and whatever B-shows I want to run.

I can't decide whether going for another A show is a good bet straight away. From what I can see there is alot of big main and upper card talent. But most are quite old so another A show would help speed up the process of pushing some of that younger talent through.

  11.

It's not a bad idea in theory. You can get a deal with USA Sports 1 and they have coverage in Australia, Europe, and the British Isles. It's not huge coverage and, if I recall correctly, their coverage in Mexico and Canada isn't quite as big as CANN. I'd think at the start of the game, a short term deal with Reverie is probably the best idea, as you can get a nice infusion of cash to get yourself on your way to your own network.

With regards to starting your own network donyounthinknits better to keep saving to make it bigger everywhere to start. Or just open it as tiny in one region to get it going?

  12.
So I tend to play real world and never given the c verse a chance but started a game with SWF. The roster is a manageable size to start to give everyone some attention. Although what a horrible number of negative influences they have. I’m hopefully going to job a few of them out.

Jefferson Stardust, Robbie Retro and Slencer Spade are my nbt so focusing on them. Going to eventually spit the Awesomeness team ala rockers style. I changed the Bumfhole’s name as that is ridiculous! Now just Randy B and Zimmy B going by the name Thr RadicalZ and playing up their teen idol gimmicks with a finisher called The Hashtag. Will ultimately have them win the titles as they are a steady pair of hands so I can start the Jefferson split and push.

Main event scene is old, so looking to push some guys quick. But really focusing on Jack Bruce. He might be in his 40’s but is the star to carry the company short term.

Really enjoying reading this thread as a newbie to the c verse it’s a real help getting things off the ground for me.

I treat it like nxt, with its own storylines and titles. Once someone hits the higher end of Midcard/lower end of upper Midcard they get "promoted" to the main roster. It's been a great solution for having to call up multiple Developmental talents at once and avoiding those morale hits.

I do exactly the same. It also allows me to really push the mid card and lower guys I want. Playing a real world mod sometimes I have guys I want to push but don't have the tv time to do so. My B brand is essentially a tier between the main roster and nxt. All ppvs the B brand gets the pre show for matches. I find it works well. I keep it very basic in the sense wrestler A is the champ and wrestler B wants the belt. So not loads of extra work in that sense.
