Not the Main Event for now - the MAW battle was where I had the hardest decisions to make. Greg Gauge could have easily wrestled, but I had previously considered bringing in O'Farraday later in this feud. With Gauge's injury I panicked and offered a contract, and with O’Farraday signed, I was going to use him. It did make booking a little easier - I did want Jay Chord to lose, and I'm not sure that he was going to accept it. In teaming with a relative unknown (all things considered) he accepted the countout defeat, without even being a little upset. Findlay O’Farraday has signed a six month Pay Per Appearance deal, and will still wrestle for BCG when his contract allows to defend his Global Title.</p><p> </p><p> The Main Event cannot be forgotten, as this is now the top rated match that I have booked. It doesn't look as if Andrews is planning on leaving the main event scene any time soon... However, The Syndicate showed their strength and are now holders of both the World Heavyweight Title and the Tag Team Titles, but Mighty Meaty will be looking to take revenge.</p><p> </p><p> Elsewhere, my booking skills were shown as I somehow accidentally booked a draw between High Flyin Hawaiian and Benny Benson. With the ending of the MAW battle a countout, I couldn't repeat that, so I came up with a lame ending instead.</p><p> </p><p> Meanwhile, after adding a few graphics and a proper PPV preview, I get an unprecedented 5 predictions! Thank you all. Ignoring the misbooked draw, the results were as follows:</p><p> </p><p> Jaysin – 2/7</p><p> The Lloyd – 5/7</p><p> Sco xY2Jx – 4/7</p><p> Hitman74 – 5/7</p><p> Herrbear – 4/7</p><p> </p><p> It turns out the show was a little unpredictable, with everyone expecting Eddie Peak to put over T-Bone Bright. Most people expected Jay Chord and Greg Gauge to pull out the victory as well, but given that Gauge didn’t even wrestle maybe that explains that…</p><p> </p><p> <strong>TCW Presents Total Wrestling:</strong></p><p> Steven Parker vs Marc Speed</p><p> T-Bone Bright, Lenny Brown and Cougar Stone vs The Sinner Society (The Behemoths and The Sinners)</p><p> High Flying Hawaiian and One Man Army vs Benny Benson and Matt Hocking</p><p> Devine Fortune vs Jay Chord and Findlay O'Farrady</p><p> Danny Fonzarelli and Joffy Laine vs El Hijo Del Neutron and Davis Wayne Newton</p><p> Aaron Andrews and Sammy Bach vs Freddy Huggins and Pretty Okakura</p><p> Mighty Meaty and One Man Army vs The Syndicate (Wolf Hawkins, Joshua Taylor and Eddie Chandler)</p>

It didn't come here as the face team was too strong, Dazzling Dave Diamond hitting Davis Wayne Newton with a Diamond Mine to take the victory.</p><p> </p><p> Eddie Peak was shown backstage with a trash can full of weapons, and he announced that T-Bone Bright's career would be put on hold tonight (74)</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="oUQ2y9R.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oUQ2y9R.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> vs <img alt="AD5FHaf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/AD5FHaf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <span style="color:#0000FF;"><strong>Eddie Peak defeated T-Bone Bright</strong></span> in a hardcore match in 8:59 (71)</p><p> -T-Bone Bright has been on a great run, and he really pulled in a shift in this match. However, as the commentary team pointed out, this was Eddie Peak's type of match. Bright was happy to slug it out with chairs and canes, but Peak was able to utlilise a greater number of weapons, including an exposed turnbuckle which left Bright vulnerable to a Peak of Perfection.</p><p> </p><p> Mighty Meaty cut a champions promo, saying that they were going to enjoy tonight’s match, just like they enjoy every match, and despite having two opponents they were going to enjoy winning (72)</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="SMhRu8y.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SMhRu8y.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="HnafANh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HnafANh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> vs <img alt="Mrcu7Tv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Mrcu7Tv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="J4p5In8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/J4p5In8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> vs <img alt="1NfNgjs.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1NfNgjs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="DJAyYee.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DJAyYee.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <span style="color:#0000FF;"><strong>The Syndicate defeated Mighty Meaty © and Cougar Stone</strong></span> to win the <strong>TCW Tag Team Titles</strong> in 11:03 (79)</p><p> -This match played out as the champions Might Meaty versus The Syndicate, with Cougar Stone suddenly appearing for bursts of offence - that were largely short lived. Despite being the only team in this match that didn't show chemistry, The Syndicate proved themselves a solid, focused unit, and they were always able to slow down Cougar Stone, and avoid any attemps of The Big Samoan Butt from the champions. Mighty Meaty had momentum but just found it too difficult to keep on top of all four other men, and although Tana hit the Butt on Masked Cougar, Eddie Chandler took him out of the ring (illegally), allowing Taylor to pin the masked man and take the Tag Team Titles, fulfilling the first part of The Syndicates aim to walk out of the PPV all wearing gold.</p><p> </p><p> Jay Chord was shown backstage with Greg Gauge, asking if he was ready today. This match was all about the damage that the heel team were trying to cause the faces, and they were able to do a lot of damage, with both Parker and Hernandez having to play the face in distress role at different points. The match ended when O'Farraday became so obsessed with beating the faces out of the ring he was completely ignorant of the ref making the ten-count and was counted and as Parker was just able to get back into the ring as the ref counted made it to ten. Which is why the last match couldn't be a double count out.</p><p> </p><p> O'Farrady was not done, however, and drove Mainstream Hernandez through the announce table (74)</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="z6Zg9JA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/z6Zg9JA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> vs <img alt="0A7ICxk.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0A7ICxk.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <span style="color:#0000FF;"><strong>Sammy Bach defeated Freddy Huggins</strong></span> in 13:55 (81)</p><p> -Freddy Huggins seemed eager to show off all his high-flying moves, but Bach was more grounded and methodical, using all of his all round skills. I originally booked this match way back on my first show, which earned Freddy Huggins a title shot. Sammy Bach was able to even the score here after a good, even contest, with a clean Bach On Your Back to take the victory.</p><p> </p><p> Aaron Andrews hyped the Main Event, saying that only he stood in the way of a Syndicate clean sweep, a role he took very seriously (80)</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="h3ZWrsV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/h3ZWrsV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> vs <img alt="tPWwJoq.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tPWwJoq.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <span style="color:#0000FF;"><strong>World Hawkins © defeated Aaron Andrews</strong></span> to retain the <strong>TCW World Heavyweight Title</strong> in 25:46 (94)</p><p> -I will take that. A fully fit Andrews (unlike at the last PPV) and a champion of form, this was a great match, swinging both ways. Wolf Hawkins Syndicate colleagues were out (of course), but Mighty Meaty showed that they had a serious side, brawling with the men who defeated them earlier in the night. Joshua Taylor tried to strike Mighty Mo in the head with his title belt, but Mo adjusted and threw his body into Taylor, taking both men out. That gave Tana the Mighty the time to deliver a Big Fat Samoan Splash on Taylor, but this just proved a distraction. When Taylor was taken out by Mo his title flew into the ring, and Hawkins was successful at first drilling Andrews in the head with it, then dropping him with a DDT into the title. The ref just saw a Full Moon Rising, and Hawkins retained.</p><p> </p><p> After the match The Syndicate posed with their titles in the ring, having fulfilled their promise of all holding three belts at the end of the night (82)</p><p> </p><p> <em>Overall Rating 88</em></p>
  7. I like how that show built to Huggins defeating Hawkins. Good job. 8. I'm happy with that as a lead into Excessive Force - decent but not world class matches - but that's what the PPV if for, isn't it? One signing in the dark matches - Tigre Salvage (I've dropped the Jr). At the moment he has just been signed to do some dark jobs - apart from Nate Johnson and Maverick, my other heels in the job zone (e.g. Marc Speed and Roderick Remus) I would like to do something with, but they're too busy doing the job. When I dig into development I find workers who I want to primarily spend time in HGC, so Salvage gets hired to fill that hole. However, it's a big hole, so there will be another signing there too. Over a BCG Razan Okamoto becomes Sole Survivor for the second time. The BCG roster is stacked, and Okamoto is still working there despite relocating to the South West to make it easier for his HGC work. He's pulling out performances of the night down there despite being a complete unknown, so expect to see him on the main roster by the end of the year. Later in the night Big Bruiser Findlay won the World Title, the first time a gaijin has won the title since Pistol Pete Hall won the inaugural title back in 2011. Huh, I knew I left Joey Fili at MAW, but I didn't realise that Jaylon Martins was also down there. They've just started teaming together, so I'll leave them there for now. Laura Huggins and Matt Hocking have weak chemistry as a managerial partnership - shame. I'll quietly make that idea go away. Meanwhile Greg Gauge will go into Excessive Force needing another 6 hours to recover from his broken ribs. He can wrestle through it, but my Plan B is ready - it won't be as good but... I'm torn. Interesting to note when looking through wrestler’s records - Aaron Andrews has lost seven matches this year. Wolf Hawkins has only lost two, while next on the list is... Tana the Mighty with 3!?! So is Freddy Huggins, which certainly explains his momentum. Mighty Mo and Jay Chord have both lost four, Joshua Taylor five, Doc Hammond and One Man Army six. Dazzling Dave Diamond joins Andrews on nine defeats. TCW Excessive Force: High Flyin Hernandez vs Benny Benson Mighty Meaty © vs Cougar Stone vs The Syndicate for the TCW Tag Team Titles T-Bone Bright vs Eddie Peak in a hardcore match Doc Hammond, Human Arsenal and Dazzling Dave Diamond vs Troy Tornado, Davis Wayne Newton and Del Neutron Steven Parker and Mainstream Hernandez vs Jay Chord and Greg Gauge? 9. TCW Presents Total Wrestling: Joffy Laine drew with Pretty Okakura in 10:00 when the time limit was reached (41) -Did you know that most pre-show matches have a ten minute time limit? No? Neither did I. Did you know that these men don't click? We do now. Bart Biggins defeated Harvey Robbinfield in 9:46 (47) -A desperate attempt to stop Biggins falling into Ice Cold territory. Dazzling Dave Diamond, Doc Hammond and Human Arsenal defeated Nate Johnson, Yuri Yoshihara and Tigre Salvaje in 8:54 (61) -A debut for Tigre Salvaje - the crowd were into his occult look, but this doesn't mean he's getting a push. Yoshihara took a Dazzle Driver from DDD. Jay Chord defeated Flying Jimmy Foxx in 6:43 (72) -No doubt who was going to win this one... MAIN SHOW: Wolf Hawkins started the show with his Syndicate colleagues. Hawkins announced that The Syndicate would compete for the Tag Team Titles at Excessive Force, and would warm up later in six man tag action. Hawkins said that he and his men would slowly take Andrews and Mighty Meaty apart, and make them wish that they didn't have to wrestle again on Sunday. That brought the faces out, Andrews serious, but Mighty Meaty livening the mood and telling Hawkins that he need to lighten up - and they'd show him how to later (96) vs Cougar Stone defeated Maverick and Marc Speed in 9:08 (69) -The commentary team announced that Cougar Stone would also compete for the Tag Team Titles on Sunday, so the fact that Masked Cougar pinned Maverick was no shock whatsoever. Jay Chord was shown backstage with Greg Gauge, who was being seen to by a doctor. Chord scornfully asked Gauge what the problem was, with Gauge telling him that Mainstream Hernandez had broken his ribs last week, and he could hardly move. Chord got in Gauge's face and told him that he had better be ready on Sunday, otherwise he will be disrespecting his history (82) vs T-Bone Bright and Lenny Brown defeated The Sinners in 7:21 (71) -Eddie Peak watched on as the Sinners took the defeat, Lenny Brown showing off The Star Treatment. After the match Eddie Peak rummaged under the ring and started throwing weapons into the ring (cane, trash can, chair, iron bar), all of which would be legal. on Sunday Bright stood there, swatting away the trash can and catching the chair, before sharing a sadistic smile with Peak (69) vs El Hijo Del Neutron and Davis Wayne Newton defeated Devine Fortune in 8:54 (56) -Chance Fortune wasn't happy about this, but it's his job now, Del Neutron pinning him with a Neutron Bomb. Troy Tornado got into the ring to raise his colleagues arms, when Dazzling Dave Diamond brought out Doc Hammond and Human Arsenal. DDD told Tornado to get his boys ready, as they had a match on Sunday (71) vs Matt Hocking defeated Danny Fonzarelli in 6:56 (63) -One Man Army joined the commentary team for this, and that was about all the hype that we got for the TV Title match (at a PPV...) and Hocking strolled to a stress-free victory. Mainstream Hernandez and Steven Parker were together before their tag match when Jay Chord came over. Parker jokingly asked him if he was just the "One Chord" without a partner for Sunday, but Chord just demanded silence. He told Parker that he would deal with him in the ring on Sunday, and he should be careful of what he says (87) vs Steven Parker and Mainstream Hernandez defeated The Behemoths in 10:16 (75) -A decent match, with the ex-MAW boys (lets be realistic, it was over 10 years ago they left MAW so this is tenuous...) slowly managing to get over the size advantage of their opponents, and the match ended after Parker delivered a Future Shock to Titan. Sammy Bach and High Flyin Hawaiian were out for their match with Huggins and Benson, and put in a bit of hype for Sunday. That led to the heels coming out to declare that they would be victorious (83) vs Freddy Huggins and Benny Benson defeated Sammy Bach and High Flyin Hawaiian in 11:50 (69) -Slightly disappointing, as this match was designed to be a little better. It was even, but Huggins took the win with a handful of tights on Hawaiian. Aaron Andrews and Mighty Meaty cut a promo for the Main Event, with Tana telling The Syndicate that they were going to have fun out there - while winning at the same time (84) vs Aaron Andrews and Mighty Meaty defeated The Syndicate by disqualification in 12:52 (78) -The Syndicate were focused, but the story of this match was Tana trying to hit a Big Samoan Butt Rub, to the disgust of the Syndicate. At one point Eddie Chandler was laid out in the corner, with nothing appearing able to stop Tana... when Wolf Hawkins took him out with his title belt. Wolf Hawkins turned around and swung his title at Aaron Andrews, but the ex-champion ducked to avoid the shot. He kicked Hawkins in the gut causing the champion to drop the title belt, before he drove Hawkins headfirst into the title (88) Overall Rating 82

  12. Jay Chord's catchphrase was not expected or planned - but the crowd loved it, and we're going to roll with it. Meanwhile, Lenny Brown joins the TCW roster, teaming with T-Bone Bright to little fanfair. He’s a good talent who should fit well into TCW, but the ideas about how he was going to debut have changed on a weekly basis, and it will be interesting to see if he’s landed in the right spot. Nick Booth signs a one-year extension to his TCW contract - just as well he did or Chris Flynn's new tag team would have been short lived. Greg Gauge cracks his ribs at a house show. It's a short injury, but he'll be affected at Excessive Force... I wonder... TCW Presents Total Wrestling: Danny Fonzarelli vs Matt Hocking T-Bone Bright and Lenny Brown vs The Sinners (Chris Flynn and Nick Booth) Sammy Bach and High Flyin Hawaiian vs Benny Benson and Freddy Huggins Steven Parker and Mainstream Hernandez vs The Behemoths Devine Fortune vs Davis Wayne Newton and El Hijo Del Neutron Cougar Stone vs Maverick and Marc Speed Aaron Andrews and Mighty Meaty vs The Syndicate (Wolf Hawkins, Joshua Taylor and Eddie Chandler)
  13. TCW Presents Total Wrestling: Marc Speed, Davis Wayne Newton and El Hijo Del Neutron defeated Seth Whitehead, Arthur Dexter Bradley and Jaylon Martins in 9:14 (48) -Del Neutron pinned... yes, you guessed it - Whitehead. Bart Biggins and Elliot Thomas defeated Harvey Robbinfield and Yuri Yoshihara in 6:52 (45) -Apparently Elliot Thomas' finisher is the Quiet Down. Who knew? Roderick Remus defeated Flyin Jimmy Foxx in 6:32 (54) -This is Foxx's future - looking at the stars. Mighty Meaty, Human Arsenal and Mainstream Hernandez defeated The Sinners (Chris Flynn and Nick Booth) and Ground and Pound in 8:43 (68) -Flynn and Booth are officially names as The Sinners. But they lost. MAIN SHOW: Greg Gauge was the person to start the show, and told the crowd that no-one deserved to talk about Mid Atlantic Wrestling apart from him. No man has won the Rip Chord Invitational more than Greg Gauge - and he was who people thought about when they talked about MAW. That brought Steven Parker out to tell Gauge that he was wrong - Rip Chord was the name that people first thought about. Without his work at MAW there would be no Invitational - nothing for Greg Gauge to boast about - and no Jay Chord. Out came Jay Chord, to demand that Parker never mentioned his father ever again. Neither Gauge or Parker should be mentioned in the same breath as his father - but soon people will remember the "One Chord - Jay Chord". Then he left (92) vs Steven Parker defeated Maverick in 6:43 (64) -No surprise that Parker won his debut, delivering a... Future Shock. I'm not renaming it... After the match Greg Gauge slid into the ring to attack Steven Parker, but Mainstream Hernandez rushed out from the back to make the save - quite how many fans recognise Hernandez and Parker's history in MAW I'm not sure about (78) Wolf Hawkins cut an interview hyping his title match with Aaron Andrews at Excessive Force. Hawkins said that now he was champion he got the perks of the belt - a night off, and he would watch the main event with interest (89) vs Edd Stone defeated Pretty Okakura in 10:58 (66) -Okakura slightly off his game, which is a shame as he's tearing it up on tour with EX2010 at the moment. An even match, but Stone took the victory with a Party's Over. Backstage and Jay Chord was shown with Greg Gauge. They eyed one another up, before Chord told Gauge that they had been signed up to a match against Parker and Hernandez at Excessive Force. Chord told Gauge he had better be ready to team with the "One Chord - Jay Chord", to which Greg Gauge got in Chord's face and told him he was always ready (73) vs T-Bone Bright and Lenny Brown defeated The Behemoths in 8:14 (76) -So, Lenny Brown was going to be Chris Flynn's tag partner, but instead he debuted as a face, teaming with T-Bone Bright. Without much fanfare. It was Bright who got the pin on Titan, however. Eddie Peak came out after the match and told T-Bone Bright to get ready to face him at Excessive Force - where nothing will be excessive in a hardcore match (68) vs High Flyin Hawaiian defeated Nate Johnson in 7:32 (58) -Not great - although Hawaiian got a little push when he started, his popularity just isn't there, and he's going to have to work his way up the card. Benny Benson was out with a mic to challenge Hawaiian to a match at Excessive Force, which was accepted. I need to remember that one of Hawaiian's strength is his mic work (72) vs Doc Hammond defeated Troy Tornado by DQ in 8:23 (66) -Hammond's ratings really seem to suffer from the fact that he often seems to end up in the Story Telling match of the night, like he was here. The story here was that Tornado has two lieutenants in the shape of Davis Wayne Newton and El Hijo Del Neutron, who when Hammond took the upper hand were quick to storm the ring and attack the veteran. Human Arsenal was the man to run out for the save... almost as if there's a PPV tag match coming... (51) Freddy Huggins was out with his sister, to once more declare himself the most athletic, talented high flier in TCW. Sammy Bach was out next to tell Huggins that the rhetoric was getting boring - the ring is where the truth is found (68) vs Freddy Huggins and Matt Hocking defeated Sammy Bach and One Man Army in 12:43 (72) -Yes, this is how I've crow-barred an opponent for One Man Army at Excessive Force - Hocking pinning One Man Army after he used his body as a weapon to take out Huggins - leaving himself open to a Hock Drop. Laura Huggins looked appreciatively at Hocking after the match, and yelled at One Man Army that Hocking would take his title (70) vs Aaron Andrews and Dazzling Dave Diamond defeated The Syndicate in 13:30 (82) -Andrews stepped back into the Main Event, in a brawl against Joshua Taylor and Eddie Chandler. Wolf Hawkins was out to support his colleagues, but Tag Team champions Mighty Meaty were able to successfully mark him out, allowing Andrews to win with a Standing Hot Shot. Wolf Hawkins slid into the ring but Andrews, Diamond, Tana and Mo quickly teamed to meet him, and he was forced to back up (81) Overall Rating 83
  14. Bart Biggins vs Joshua Taylor Mighty Mo vs Roderick Remus Edd Stone vs Freddy Huggins Dazzling Dave Diamond vs Jay Chord Open Challenger – Chance Fortune Sammy Bach vs Chris Flynn One Man Army vs Wolf Hawkins Like the backstage stuff. In some of the early shows I thought there were some singles Main Events that were PPV worthy and happening for no reason apart from high ratings. However, that's ended so all good (and it's understandable when making sure your first shows are good).

  16. The Living Legend' Rocky Golden [vs] 'The King of Charisma' Robbie Wright -Yeeeeah..... No. Ekuma w/ High Flyin' Hawaiian [vs] 'Mainstream' Jimmy Hernandez -Hernandez, obviously The Sharp Shooters (Gilmore & Morgan) [vs] Fame & Money (Huntingdon & Trescarde) w/ Unleashed Rat Pack -I like Trescarde more than you do... 'The Disco Stud' Robbie Retro [vs] 'Platinum' James Prudence -Oh, two wrestlers I don't really care for Bear Bekowski [vs] 'The Con Man' Sammy Smoke -Love a but of Sammy 'The Dragon' Mikey Lau [vs] 'All-American' Des Davids -Was surprised to see Des as a Major Star, but Lau could do with this win. Spencer Spade must decide if he's going to Cash In his SWF World Tag Team Title shot at Awesome Impact...If he's not cashing in, then he can 'Defend' the shot against anyone on the SWF Main Roster, and 'Upgrade' it to a North American Title shot... But what will he do...?! Upgrade or Cash-In Upgrade | Cash-In -Now disappointing would it be if he took his first shot?
  17. I keep doing that, don't I? I should just tag him with Hernandez... You need to predict that Parker's beating Maverick
  18. Solid show - the main event was just below what I was looking for, but the rest of the card delivered, especially El Hijo Del Neutron's match with Aaron Andrews. With a growing number of wrestlers with history at Mid Atlantic Wrestling, there now seems to be growing story there. There is an ex-champion out there who hasn't got involved yet... Chris Flynn is destined for the tag division - I can confirm that much. Initially this was going to be with Nick Booth, but then I made a signing to be his partner. While testing out the team on the house circuit I put Booth and Flynn together, and now know they have better chemistry than the team I had planned. I may stick to Flynn / Booth, but that leaves my new signing without a role... TCW Presents Total Wrestling: Edd Stone vs Pretty Okakura High Flyin Hawaiian vs Nate Johnson T-Bone Bright and Lenny Brown vs The Behemoths Doc Hammond vs Troy Tornado Steven Parker vs Maverick Sammy Bach and One Man Army vs Freddy Huggins and Matt Hocking Aaron Andrews and Dazzling Dave Diamond vs The Syndicate
  19. TCW Presents Total Wrestling: Dazzling Dave Diamond and Doc Hammond defeated Harvey Robbinfield and The Masked Mauler VII in 8:23 (58) -We were visiting the South West, so there was an opportunity to give some of our HGC workers a run out. The Masked Mauler outperformed Robbinfield, the latter of whom was pinned with a Dazzle Driver. Troy Tornado and Davis Wayne Newton defeated Danny Fonzarelli and Seth Whitehead in 6:42 (55) -Whitehead took the Star Maker here - he did perform almost as well as DWN though. Marc Speed defeated Phillipe LaGrenier in 6:14 (57) -LaGrenier is the Number One contender in HGC, but we have no current plans to call him up. Reasonable match. The Behemoths and Maverick defeated Devine Fortune and Joffy Laine in 9:15 (59) -This match was pretty much designed just to give the heel team a victory. The faces are getting chillier and chillier, however. High Flyin Hawaiian defeated Raphael in 6:45 (60) -I expected this to be the best pre-show match, but did hope for something slightly better. MAIN SHOW: Aaron Andrews came out to start the show and declared himself back to full fitness. As such, he had been awarded his mandatory rematch with Wolf Hawkins at Excessive Force, and Wolf Hawkins would see a different side of him. That brought the champion out to tell Andrews that he was making excuses for his loss - Hawkins was sure that he would mysteriously pick up some ailment that will give him the excuse to lose at Excessive Force - because Andrews will be losing again (100) vs Aaron Andrews defeated El Hijo Del Neutron in 8:48 (82) -So, it appears that in his first match officially part of the man roster (with me forgetting to promote him before that last show), El Hijo Del Neutron has had a better match than everyone except Andrews, Chord, Hawkins and Hammond. We did design it to show off his skills, but despite his best efforts the ex-champion took the victory with a Standing Hot Shot. Andrews offered Del Neutron a handshake, which brought Troy Tornado and Davis Wayne Newton out. They got between Andrews and the champion, with Tornado telling Andrews that he wasn't getting a handshake of respect - he has no friends in TCW (61) Jay Chord cut a backstage interview, addressing Steven Parker. Chord told the viewers that they may not know Steven Parker - he worked at Mid Atlantic Wrestling years ago. He was some kind of big deal, "The Future", but this was before Jay Chord debuted there, when the company was irrelevant. That brought Mainstream Hernandez over, to refute the period "irrelevant". Hernandez pointed out that he stayed at MAW long enough to win something, to give something back to the fans - and he would meet Chord in the ring later to fight for the respect of MAW (84) vs Cougar Stone defeated Chris Flynn and Nick Booth in 7:55 (69) -Now this is interesting. Flynn and Booth teaming makes sense with their positions in The Sinner Society... but I decided to ditch that idea and go elsewhere. However, I still gave them a match here, and they showed excellent chemistry. Both sides had it, so we got a really good match, with the faces delivering the Hear Me Party Roar to take the victory. Greg Gauge cut a quick promo backstage, telling the world that he would be taking back his TV Title later (66) vs Matt Hocking defeated Flying Jimmy Foxx in 5:56 (60) -Now is the time for me to push Hocking, with his new, buffed look. Will he deliver? Time will tell. He took the match here with a Hock Drop. vs Freddy Huggins and Pretty Okakura defeated Bart Biggins and Elliot Thomas in 7:52 (74) -Huggins delivers as always, turning what could have been an average match into a showcase that delivered. We did let Okakura get the victory with an STF on Thomas. Sammy Bach came out with a microphone applauding Huggins, before pointing out that if he was correct Huggins accused him of using others to get wins - well look what has happened here. Huggins told Bach that he was sick of him coming out and pretending he was superior, and challenged him to a match at Excessive Force, which was accepted (84) vs One Man Army © defeated Greg Gauge to retain the TCW TV Title in 14:10 (78) -A great little match - main event quality when I first started booking TCW. Greg Gauge's future is away from the TV Title, and he got into an argument with the ref as he was forced to discard to brass knuckles, allowing OMA to hit a Guided Missile for the victory. Wolf Hawkins came out with his colleagues, and told Mighty Meaty that after they won tonight, they would be first in the queue for the tag team titles (72) vs The Syndicate defeated Mighty Meaty and T-Bone Bright in 12:52 (79) -The match started evenly, but then fell apart as Eddie Peak brawled outside of the ring with T-Bone Bright. The Syndicate were able to make the numbers work, Hawkins pinning Tana after struggling to deliver a Full Moon Rising. Mighty Meaty managed to come to Bright's aid, with Eddie Peak showing that he had still perfected the psychotic look (80) vs Jay Chord defeated Mainstream Hernandez in 15:40 (77) -The commentary team mentioned that Mainstream Hernandez was the winner of the first two Rip Chord Invitational tournaments at Mid Atlantic Wrestling - a tournament that Jay Chord had not won. Compared to some of the other matches on the card the match didn't stand out, but it did tell a story as Chord wore down his more experienced opponent, and despite some high flying moves from Hernandez that came close to putting Chord away, the youngster won with a Cradle Piledriver. After the match Steven Parker came out to the stage. Before he could speak Jay Chord grabbed a mic, and told Steven Parker that he was correct - he isn't "The Future" - that was a long time ago and his time has passed. Parker refuted this, saying again that his time was "The Present". He was "The Future" in MAW but he has developed, gained experience across the country, and would prove that he was the greatest wrestler to come out of MAW - not Jay Chord. As the two men stared at one another Greg Gauge suddenly struck Steven Parker from behind. He picked up Parker and delivered an Omega Driver, before staring first at Parker, then at Jay Chord who was still in the ring (86) Overall Rating 83
