  1. The only other option is someone's been representing someone else's results. I can't see how that would have worked, but I throw it out there.
  2. The next stage is for The Archer to fill us in on what happened last night. How long we give him given his quietness is up to the town.
  3. That would be the passive defensive ability... Do the 2 bits of the write up marry up? Not at all...
  4. I can't see the poisoner having 2 active roles, a much simpler explanation is an active poison and a passive defensive ability. Destiny fits that bill perfectly. I would have voted first post, but this phase can be over in a couple of votes so I'm happy for a little discussion first.
  5. Oddly, I've said very little about my role, apart from: I wasn't on the early set of roles that was linked Um, that's it actually. Well, apart from I posted my role in my very first post of the game with a helpful capital letter to look back on. It's not a role I've seen on this forum before, so I had to Google it to find out if it was a standard mafia role (turns out it is). No idea if it even works against the poisoner. That's why I give credit to The Archer for his claim of targeting me N2, I think the described target could well be me. I've come up town to investigation and been hidden behind by someone who dies when they target non town (unless he's the poisoner). I assume Arrows (or partner) tracked me doing nothing, as Arrows never pushed me for being the poisoner. Now, the poisoner could be immune to all types of tracking / investigating, which would be fair to try and balance the serial killer. This could be done by making them a PBO, or could be used as a hider claim. I can't rationalise Showtime being the poisoner as there's evidence of a hider, evidence of him being in the same scene as the poisoner, and no reason I can think of as a poisoner he's suddenly become targetable. Against him is the coincidental scum result on the one night he chose not to go out. I think the simplest solution is the poisoner is also a PBO. Anything else seems overly complex given the barebones nature of the game. However, I'd like to hear what The Archer has been up to since he last updated us.
  6. <p>That reads like 2 poisons, which I'm unconvinced about, so Outlaw may have thrown a curveball. Arrows not going anywhere while tracking Leion, doesn't say if he found him.</p><p> </p><p> Showtime, who, if anyone, did you hide behind? And electric, who was your target?</p>

If, as claimed, he's a hider who dies behind non town, he was safer not hiding. </p><p> </p><p> Towniest thing for him to do tonight would also be to not hide.</p>

Non town need to sow doubt, not clear people...</p>
  9. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Destiny" data-cite="Destiny" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Saying the result "sucks" isn't helpful and doesn't explain it. A hider isn't a bad fake claim though. How would you do come up non town? Impossible.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Not impossible. Thinking about it its kind of a logical condition to put it. However, it is generally unnecessary and I've never seen it before.</p>

  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Arrows" data-cite="Arrows" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Sorry for the double post.<p> </p><p> I see another solution here, as well. One that actually might be more likely than a hider who directs people who target them to their target. Cause yeah, that'd just lead a kill right back to the hider. That'd be... odd?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> True, unless the hider doesn't die. Possible as he claims to die if behind non town (not just someone coming up non town!)</p><p> </p><p> Risky play, your alternative might be more plausible?</p>
  13. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Arrows" data-cite="Arrows" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I could see that. 15. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Arrows" data-cite="Arrows" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Yeah.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I think we can ignore that non town result, but anyone who's targeted Showtime this game needs to let us know when and what happened.</p>
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Arrows" data-cite="Arrows" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>We could have one of us protect the other, or both track seperate people. He protected me until mafia tried to kill me. They realized I had a friend, so I switched onto him incase they got lucky at guessing.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Is even your night for coming up non town (being lazy and not looking back as you're here)?</p>
  17. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Arrows" data-cite="Arrows" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>He claimed to target Ray. The same person I targeted, since I was protecting him (Thus, standing by the door), and Astil targeted, to roleblock him. He can't be both.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> And you've knocked him down again. So why the non town result? Or fake result? Latter is possible - we'd have no cop, and he is shown targeting me n2...</p><p> </p><p> Not getting it. If there is someone else please shout now!</p>
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Arrows" data-cite="Arrows" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>So you were conveniently left OUT of the write up where you would have to be the 5th man in that scene?<p> </p><p> Okay.</p><p> </p><p> Glad you made that simple.</p><p> </p><p> That narrows it down to Showtime, or electrick.</p><p> </p><p> Showtime's been seen in the same scene AS the poisoner.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Is he not the one going into the house and finding something? Doesn't find Showtime but finds some evidence.</p><p> </p><p> Can't rationalise why that would happen, but Showtime is certainly above me on my list now, and probably pushing Destiny down as well.</p>
  21. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="theelectrickg" data-cite="theelectrickg" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Night 6</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="eayragt" data-cite="eayragt" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Which should be impossible... 22. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="theelectrickg" data-cite="theelectrickg" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>He's the only Non Town Aligned result I have.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Which should be impossible... Which night?</p>
  23. In Showtime's defence as well - if his untargetableness is a mechanic rather than a hider ability, why claim no target (so would be targetable) Night 1? Hugely risky.
  24. <p>My feeling is everyone with an Active Role can be identified in at least 1 write-up doing something. Assuming the poisoner has to target who they poison (seems very likely) and doesn't have 2 active abilities, that rules most people out. If I was wrong about this we'd have to look into the hider, as that could be a mechanic rather than a targeted ability. So that's 1 possible suspect.</p><p> </p><p> That leaves us with a couple of people with claimed (and proven) passive roles, and me, who I'm pretty sure is the only one left not to have answered Destiny's star question (despite the fact I kept poking him to see if he'd ask me). However, I've passed cop and hider tests, and I wouldn't be hugely surprised if I've passed the tracker test as well.</p><p> </p><p> I can't see any other practical poisoner. So:</p><p> </p><p> Leion- double voting poisoner. Sounds unlikely.</p><p> Destiny - PBO poisoner. Possible, odd mixing of abilities but it gives the sk a chance, as it makes them immune to dangerous active town abilities</p><p> Showtime - poisoner who can't be found at night. Similar to above. However, why did Showtime clear me if he was the poisoner?</p><p> Eayragt - still on this list! I would have to have an ability where I come up town, can be hidden behind, probably if tracked appear to stay at home. Realistically this is no less likely than the poisoner being a PBO.</p><p> </p><p> I think that's everyone, so on that basis my list from most to least likely is:</p><p> </p><p> Destiny</p><p> Eayragt</p><p> Showtime</p><p> Leion</p><p> </p><p> I'd be surprised if the poisoner was in the bottom half of this list. I'd be even more surprised if it was me. So that's where my vote may be going in the morning, unless someone can point out the flaw in my arguments.</p>
