1.
I've mentioned a few of these but...

-Alex steps down from CGC after Jack and Dan Delay have an intervention and "persuade" him to take a sabbatical

-SOTBPW starts a women's division, kicking off with their "Luchadora!" reality series that received wild popular acclaim

    -WLW starts a "joshidora" division

-A group of women wrestlers in Europe, tired of having to deal with Byron or take whatever meager indy bookings there are, start their own company.

-OLLIE rises a bit. They're still a far cry from their former glory, but they're more of a threat to SOTBPW.

    -QAW is regional at least.

-Mark Carnie discovers a new grift to keep SNP's money rolling in.

I look forward to seeing how their roster looks. Maybe they grabbed Alicia Strong and are making a large push in Japan. Or perhaps USPW has raided them and only a few loyal workers remain at the top of the card.

Yeah, I don't see USPW raiding 5SSW anymore than they've raided any other Japanese company for their talent.

Hollyweird) to be quite like Vince Russo paradise. I mean: what's in a name? <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I could see HGC/ TCW being like the early TNA years. Get someone who doesn't know the business that well to front up a bunch of money so a small cadre of good workers can work with upcoming indy guys and cast-offs, mix some good in-ring work with some, quite frankly, completely ludicrous gimmicks, matches, and storylines.

  5. Assuming they're in a similar shape to how they were in 2016, OLLIE is a good choice. Regional, but with enough money and options for TV that you don't have to worry about going broke or losing size immediately. It's also one of the rare pop > performance companies that doesn't require storylines, so you can just book whatever or use the auto-booker until you really get a feel for what's going on.
  6.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll wait TEW20 to see the new features, but your advice on the tour shows will really help me! Now I understand a bit a more how you play.

As for comedy, that's exactly the problem I got, we'll see on the new game if it's easier to book comedy companies, because I really like the SPLASH! concept.

Thanks guys!

I imagine with the tweaks to gimmicks, it will be easier to give some with a good Comedy performance a unique shtick. That's a problem I've run into. "Oh, that's a good one, but someone else is using it. That one doesn't really fit the character, and that one can't be pulled off by the worker. Hrmm."

  7.
I've played a few of the Comedy companies- POW, Wrestlesaurus X, TOTAL (which isn't officially a Comedy promotion, but it's close enough)... I've even simmed ahead to August to get new companies to open and take over and have tried SJJ which... That's a nightmare unless it has an owner who's going to let you make changes to the product. You need a Storytelling match, a High Spots match, a Technical Masterclass match, AND a Comedy match? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Basically, I just grab workers who have a Good/ Strong rating in Comedy performance and let them go. You can get by with Decent/ Above Average if the worker in question has an actual Comedy gimmick.

  8.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nollywood

Thank you. I didn't want to be the first to point out how ridiculously inaccurate that statement was. Mexico and South Korea also have robust film industries, the latter of which produced the Academy Award Winning Best Picture Film last year.

  9.
I also can totally see a Women's Division. Obviously, it'll be a bit more cheesecake than USPW, but since SWF is a bit more performance driven than USPW, most smarks will be satisfied with the in-ring product.

    ... Spencer Spade will STILL be in RIPW. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

  10.
I see no reason why both AAA and QAW couldn't have jumped in size. Assuming the Mid South is as "hot" a region as it was in 2016, it seems a natural for growth. (It should be noted that QAW is the only company I ever see the AI increase in size and NOT drop back down a week later in the 2016 version).

And with the changes to stables being made, I really hope we see some more in QAW to rival Ronin 3. And with that, I'll use the changes to matches with Match Styles no longer being a thing and run a Women's Cage Wars without having to worry about anyone complaining because their brawling skill isn't high enough. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

  11. So, since we're starting 2020 threads about individual promotions now, I thought I'd join in with what is arguably my favorite C-Verse company. So, what do you think is in store? Have their top stars been poached to USPW, NOTBPW, or any big company that's started their own women's division? Has Alexis Lee Littlefeather retired? Have Jillian Jarvis and Vinny Cruz tied the knot? Have they finally gotten a TV deal on one of the Mex/ American stations?
  12. They didn't have WCW money... There was no WCW money left, as it was in the deep red.

Hogan, Nash, Hall, and Goldberg had Time Warner money just to sit back, drink a little piña colada and have a bunch of siestas along the shores in Panama City Beach. :D:p

DDP had one of those too, but he accepted a buy-out, getting a fraction of what he would have gotten had he sat it out, because he truly believed that the WWE vs. WCW that Vince McMahon was planning was going to set the world on fire. It... well, let's not dwell on what happened after that.

  13. AAA game. Put Amber Allen in a match with Simony Sentinel. Put Ellie Mae Walton on commentary, since she was in a storyline with Simony. And, since it was to further the story, I figured "Storytelling" was the match aim to use. That was all I remember doing. After a match, I got a road agent note that said something to the effect of "the raw physicality overwhelmed some members of the audience." I don't know how that happened, and I've never seen it since, but I like to imagine that Simony & Amber pulled a Benoit/ Angle and just decided to step it up a notch.
  14.
Oddly enough, I think the thing I am most looking forward to is that it seems that the AI is going to be better with companies and workers. AI companies can grow in size and make a profit, I don't have to worry about killing companies five regions away that I've never ran a show in thanks to spillover, and workers have more options on the indy scene.

Like, in 2016, I feel obligated to try and lift up the business as much as possible. I'll join alliances I don't need to to protect other companies, and I'll hire way too many people because I feel bad.
