[CENTER][SIZE="8"][B][FONT="Palatino Linotype"]WWE - AFTER THE BASH[/FONT][/B][/SIZE] Hi, all, I'm back with my new improved style in WWE - After The Bash. There is no backstory to this diary, those of you who read my last diary will know that I don't do backstories. This is simply an alternative to real life happenings and a direction I would like to see in the WWE. First of all I will be aiming to have the shows out as normal meaning I will post RAW on a Monday night and Smackdown on Friday night. Don't expect every show to be a non stop barrage of A* segments as I don't want to burn you lot out, or indeed myself, and it would become boring if every show was a supercard so to speak. I will be using the odd video and superstar entrance music but only when needed for impact, I won't be using them everytime someone comes down to the ring. Also I would like to say that with the diary starting the night after the Great American Bash, some storylines will initially follow quite closely to what has happened in real life since, whilst others will differ completely and new feuds will take place. Also bear in mind that with this diary starting the night after the Great American Bash, Vince McMahon has not been seen since he 'blew up' so there is no illegitimate child storyline. Finally, I will not be posting the rosters until after the first RAW. All will become clear when the time comes. However the following superstars are out injured. In a rematch from last week Snitsky will again take on Val Venis who looks for revenge against the rotten toothed monster. William Regal will take on The Sandman after the Englishman attacked the ECW original during his match with Carlito last week. Another rematch from last week will see Cody Rhodes look to gain his first win on RAW against Randy Orton, however, the match will have more importance this week after the Legend Killer beat the newcomers father, Dusty Rhodes, last night at the Great American Bash. Paul London and Brian Kendrick will take on The Worlds Greatest Tag Team as both teams look to get in on the World Tag Team Title picture. The self proclaimed King, King Booker will take on Santino Marella as the plucky Italian looks to break a losing streak stretching back 4 matches on RAW to the 4th of June whilst Booker will perhaps be looking to prove to Jerry 'The King' Lawler that he is indeed the true King of the WWE. In another match, both men will try to push themselves into the WWE Title picture with a victory as Jeff Hardy takes on Mr Kennedy. I guess in this reality he hasn't been made GM yet, but I suspect you may go a different direction and appoint someone else.[/B] [B]Snitsky[/B] vs Val Venis [B]I like Val, but I know you tend to book fairly realistically, so this will be a basic squash.[/B] Randy Orton vs [B]Cody Rhodes[/B] [B]Rhodes with an upset, although ultimately this depends on what you have in mind for Orton.[/B] [B]King Booker[/B] vs Santino Marella I doubt Marella still has mileage to be a decent face, Book-Man for the win. [B]Vince McMahon[/B] I bet I can guess what you're all thinking **he says with a half smile appearing on his face** [B]Vince[/B] You may recall the last time you saw me on live WWE programming that I was, well, blown to smithereens. Now obviously that was not the case, the fact I am stood right here in front of all of you proves that, so I can only assume you're all wondering what exactly happened. The truth is, I staged my own death, the whole thing was a ruse and why did I do it, I'm sure you're all asking yourselves that question. Well, I needed to know that people actually cared about me and whether or not they would miss me if I were to be cruelly taken away from them. And you know what, it turns out that a hell of a lot of you were distraught at the thought that I had passed away. It proved to me what I always suspected, that deep down, everybody loves me and now that I am back, I'm going to do my damndest to repay that love by becoming a better person. And one big key to becoming a better person is realising and learning from your mistakes and doing whatever you can to rectify them. So with that said, before I let the show go on tonight, I feel I must rectify one very big mistake I have come to realise that I made during my last few weeks in hiding, and that is the ECW brand. That's right I don't know what I was thinking when I brought back the ECW brand, I should have left it well alone, and so to rectify that mistake, tomorrow night will see the last edition of ECW on the Sci-Fi network. Now there are going to be some people who are none too happy with that decision and some who will be relieved but tomorrow night's ECW will go ahead as planned. I shall be at ECW tomorrow night to make an announcement about what will happen to the ECW superstars after the show and so with that said it is time for me to go to my office and check up on what exactly has been going on over these past few weeks. And talking of John Cena, he will also be in action tonight in a special champion vs champions match as he takes on the World Tag Team champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. **With that said Coach smiles into the camera and we are taken back to ringside where the music of King Booker begins to play. Ladies and gentlemen the WWE Champion John Cena **The crowd erupt as Cena's music hits and the champ comes out into the arena, pumped up after his win last night over Bobby Lashley. He makes his way to the ring where he picks up a mic from one of the deckchairs and sits straight down with a huge smile on his face. Carlito sits himself in the other deckchair over from Cena** [B]Carlito[/B] I've got to hand it to you John, last night you retained the WWE Title against Bobby Lashley. Very impressive. [B]Cena[/B] Thankyou Carlito. That's true, last night I did retain my WWE Title against Bobby Lashley and it was one hell of a match. Bobby Lashley took me to the limit last night, I gotta give him that, but now it's time to move on. Coach is looking for a new number one contender tonight...... ** Cena is cut off as the music of Bobby Lashley starts to play and his big bulky figure is seen coming out to the top of the ramp. He makes his way to the ring and enters, pacing around before snatching the mic out of Carlito's hand. Carlito annoyed, decides to leave it and quickly grabs another mic from ringside before getting back into the ring ** [B]Lashley[/B] John, yeah you beat me last night, but I think I did more than enough to earn another shot. I had you all but beat last night Cena and if I can get one more match against you I know I'll win next time..... [B]Carlito[/B] Hey, wait just a minute Lashley, you had your chance last night and you lost, that's all there is to it. It's time for someone else to have a shot at the WWE Title, you missed your chance at the Great American Bash.. **Lashley gets right up in Carlito's face almost butting each other** [B]Cena[/B] Woah, woah, woah. Look it's not up to me who I face at Summerslam but if you two really want a shot at my title why don't you prove it right here tonight? I'm thinking... Bobby Lashley vs Carlito live in Buffalo. His music fades out and the theme of The Sandman starts to play as the camera wobbles around the arena trying to pick up where he is coming from. It eventually does and The Sandman makes his way down the stairs, jumping up onto the guardrail to smash a can of beer across his forehead, opening himself up slightly. Hardy ends up sitting up against the turnbuckle and Kennedy orders Umaga to destroy Hardy, which he does by running ass first, full steam into Hardy, snapping his head backwards. Kennedy then drags Hardy up to his feet and holds him up as Umaga instinctively raises his bandaged thumb and drives it into the throat of Hardy, who falls to the mat. Kennedy has a huge smile on his face as he backs away out of the ring, warily keeping his distance from Umaga** [B]JR[/B] What was the point of that King? However London comes into the ring and pushes Benjamin into Haas. Orton stares down at Cena for a moment before going outside and grabbing the WWE Title. They all look at each other before running at Big V. They surround him, all wailing hands down on him until a burst of energy sends all five men flying. Boogeyman takes it to Big V whilst Nunzio and Miz, and Dreamer and Cor Von have their own little battles. It's a good 5 or 6 minutes before the first elimination, that being Nunzio at the hands of Big V and shortly after The Miz joins Nunzio thanks to Cor Von. Minutes later and The Boogeyman is thrown out by Big V leaving Big V, Cor Von and Tommy Dreamer as the last three men. Big V and Cor Von team up against Dreamer before Cor Von suddenly nails Big V with The Pounce and goes after Dreamer alone. The two men fight and suddenly they are grappling with eachother near the ropes and Dreamer starts to lift Cor Von over the ropes, who holds on tight and eventually falls onto the ring apron before rolling back in. As he does so, Big V comes steaming over and smashes into Dreamer from behind, sending him down to the mat. Cor Von and Big V lift Dreamer up and launch him over the top rope, ending the match. He focuses a lot of his offence in the knees of Punk. It proves a good tactic as Punk gets Morrison in position for the GTS from out of nowhere but his knees buckle and Morrison is able to escape. The men trade offence with each other until Morrison again has Punk is position for the Corkscrew Neckbreaker, but Punk counters and lifts Morrison up for the GTS. Morrison rakes the eyes of his opponent yet again and this time nails Punk with the Corkscrew Neckbreaker. Punk kicks out! and the match continues for a couple of minutes. First of all on RAW, Mr McMahon sensationally returned having seemingly been blown to smithereens just a few weeks before before making the shock announcement that after the following nights show, ECW would no longer be carried on as part of the WWE. Later in the night The Legend Killer Randy Orton, lived up to his name when he punted The American Dream Dusty Rhodes straight in the head after the hall of famer had come down to ringside to stop that exact thing happening to his son Cody. We then found out that The Game Triple H will make his return at the biggest party of the summer, Summerslam in San Jose, California And to round off the night, during his handicap match against current tag team champions Cade and Murdoch, John Cena was attacked by Randy Orton, who it was then revealed by Jonathan Coachman was the new number one contender to Cena's WWE Title, seemingly as reward for what he had done earlier in the night to Dusty Rhodes. Then on Tuesday night in Philadelphia, the last ever ECW show aired on a night that saw 9 WWE employees fired by Mr McMahon as he looked to 'fix the mistakes' he realised he had made during his time in hiding. First to go were ECW originals Stevie Richards and Balls Mahoney as they lost a tag team match against Elijah Burke and Kevin Thorn. Next to go were the Extreme Expose trio of Layla, Brooke and Kelly Kelly. Having just performed for the Chairman himself, Mr McMahon informed the girls that the WWE was 'not a brothel'. The final four to be shown the door were The Miz, The Boogeyman, Nunzio and Tommy Dreamer who were the four losers in a 6 man over the top rope Battle Royale in which two men would keep their jobs. The end of the show saw John Morrison cheat his way to victory against CM Punk to hold the accolade of the last ever ECW champion. One can only guess where Mr McMahon's attentions will be focused next. [/FONT][/SIZE][/B][/CENTER]

Interesting start. I'm not usually a fan of people just wiping out ECW in their dynasties and I'm curious to see whether the losing workers are actually fired or whether you have something in store for them. It just seems a kinda cheap way to clear the roster up otherwise. RAW was a decent show, realistically booked following the GAB (similar to the real-life follow up bar Vince's announcement). ECW seemed a little lacklustre for a final show ever, but I guess the story of Vince seeing it as a failure made it more reasonable for the brand to go out with a bit of a whimper rather than a bang.
