Self Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 I guess that makes sense, but I wouldn't worry about Indy guys for a while. Do things a bit at a time... Step 1 - Do a RAW WreSpi Mod. It just does RAW, as well as we can do it. Step 2 - Add Smackdown & ECW, making it a WWE-only mod. Step 3 - Add FCW, for a 'full' WWE experiece. Step 4 - Add TNA & ROH & SHIMMER Step 5 - Add a few smaller feds, just to round things out to a USA mod Step 6 - Add Japan... maybe No need to go too big with it. Stevensplex sounds fine, but hopefully we won't have to use it :) How are you doing with Finisher/Trademark pics btw? Got the RAW guys done? Seeing as there is only a small group of us, taking our time isn't an issue. Eventually I want to have a really good mod that is fairly large, not T-zone large, but perhaps 1000 workers. But I would rather have a 250 worker mod that plays really well, then a 1000 worker mod that is rushed. So as you stated one fed at a time is the way to go methinks! All the default movesets are in place Database now has one fed WWE:RAW Database now has onw worker (i know woppdie doo!): Ashley I think the best way to handle the stats is in a completely kayfabe way. I know purists will say that in terms of wrestling ability Samoa Joe is light years ahead of Umaga. But I think it would ruin the fun if making your way through TNA and ROH was harder then when you finally get to the biggest fed. Sure, The top indy wrestlers will be good, but the WWE stars may seem over-rated, but I think that will actually work well within the scope of the game mechanics. I'm assuming they have the same collection of stats, but rather than affecting the rating of the match up, they affect the difficulty of the character as an opponent, right? If so, kayfabe is ESSENTIAL. The tops guys in WWE should be better than everyone. The top guys in TNA should be around level with the Kane/Jeff Hardy level. The top guys in ROH should be around the Black Machismo/Chris Sabin leve. Opinion to be argued. What I mean is, I could probably add one or two of the local Oregon promotions with little problem, but I don't feel I could help as much with other promotions (even the WWE, since I watch it very infrequently). If you think you could do a solid job, then I would be delighted to include them. I just want to make sure I get this mod right from the top down and so far I have a very solid foundation. However I do want to have pictures for the majority of workers. I'm kind of fanatic about them! So do you think you will be able to get pics for the workers? If cutting isn't your strong suit thats cool, we can take care of that. Other then that, just let me know when you want the data and how long you will want it for and I will send it across! So far I have Ashley and Beth Phoenix done. Did a quick exhibition match and Beth Phoenix beat Ashley with a Fishermans suplex! It actually was very cool! Blame melina she has about 100 moves which were all variations on moves that were obscure in the first place!!!! All the RAW divas are finished though. And Shaynes has the data now and he is going to knock together a few movesets for the RAw cruiserweights. Im thinking of running a tournament diary in tandem with this (as has been done in the past), just so everyone can see how things are unfolding. I went ahead and cleaned up a few of the grammar things in the profiles and fixed a couple move names that had typo's in them. I'll get started on the Cruiserweights right now, and hopefully I'll have time to get a lot of people done. Based purely on the pictures you requested, I have the feeling the movesets are a little 'obscure' for WWE guys. Falcon Arrow? I remember Hardcore Holly doing one a while back, but beyond that I haven't seen one in WWE. Don't get me wrong, you'll need the move and picture, but I hope Triple H can't do one :) Looking forward to seeing the stuff anyway. If there's anything you want me to start on, data wise, moveset wise, I'll give it a go. It would just be better if I see what you've already got first, as a guide.
