Also, it makes me giggle putting it on the poster. See also 'Kindergarten Grudge Match', a phrase that just needed using. Much of DTF is booked by what makes me laugh. I feel this is entirely in the correct spirit.

[B]YE:[/B] It's OK, I grew up reading Spider-Man. I know how this works. [B]EW:[/B] ...Hang on, I thought my contract said I was the wacky one? [B]YE:[/B] Maxx Hero to start, possibly sending a message to the Heroes there. He's up against Chris Funk, arguably the stronger of the Heroes as well as the more experienced grappler. And indeed that opening forearm by Hero is caught into an armbar... [B]EW:[/B] This should be good. Hero does a lot of flippy-flippy and I'm sure he's got a cool-looking counter... [B]YE: [/B]Mm. Looks like the Funk was ready for that, though, and held on. Another counter attempt and Chris Funk actually makes him land on the ropes – it breaks the hold, I guess, but Hero's looking hurt. Standing dropkick from Funk sends him to the outside. [B]EW: [/B]Mistake there! [B]YE: [/B]Referee Chris Roberts to check on Hero on the outside and just as he does so the Maniac comes in from behind – FUNK WAS READY! Ducks the clothesline, spinebuster to the Maniac! Drop toehold takes Flying Bobby down as Maxx recovers. [B]EW: [/B]Ohh! [B]YE: [/B]Cane shot! It seems one thing can stop the Funk, and that thing is Andrew McMenamin! [B]EW:[/B] That was pathetic. [B]YE: [/B]I know you are, but what am I? Hero's back into the ring and there's no evidence left of the Gentlemen's Club attack. [B]EW: [/B]Apart from the fact Chris Funk's writhing in agony, you mean? [B]YE:[/B] Well, obviously. Hero making the most of it with a quick pin cover, but Funk kicks out. Enzuigiri from Hero takes him back down and an interesting little roll-up – Funk out again. Running charge caught and a bodyslam lays Maxx Hero out! [B]EW:[/B] And Funk tags out. Smart man. [B]YE:[/B] Yeah. In comes Pants Boy, flying kick dodged, Hero back on the offence. Clothesline. Snap suplex. Hero tags in Flying Bobby and scoops Pants Boy up in an electric chair... [B]EW:[/B] Gentleman's Device! [B]YE: [/B]Some sort of pocketwatch, maybe? The Maniac yanks Funk off the apron and into a Special Bus Slam while Flying Bobby covers... one, two, three! [B]EW:[/B] You know, some of that was even a fair wrestling match. [B]EW: [/B]He's beaten 'Pretty Amazing' Thomas Tyler. He's beaten 'Must Be' Mistaken. Herrin Domina's a powerful grappler, but you have to wonder if she's really on Astil's level. [B]YE:[/B] Spinwheel kick by Astil to start off and it bounces off Herrin! She stays on her feet! Astil tries for a sunset flip- [B]EW:[/B] Powerbomb! [B]YE:[/B] Look at that sick grin on her face. She's loving this. And now Herrin Domina going to work on Astil's legs with a will- [B]EW:[/B] There it goes! [B]YE:[/B] Astil manages that grounded rana to come back from an early setback. Dropkick doesn't faze her; this could get tough as hell. Astil charges – pavement slam by Domina. Lazy cover – Astil kicks free. There's still fight in the Straight Edge Samurai! [B]EW:[/B] The sheer power of this woman! [B]YE: [/B]It's definitely power against skill, and I think Astil's going to have to change his tactics if he wants to get through this. Domina picks him up again, chokehold, lift, chokeslam coming- [B]EW:[/B] Legscissors headlock by Astil! [B]YE:[/B] Oh my God she's actually learning her job. So it's a question of whether Domina can break the hold to slam Astil or whether he can keep himself safe... [B]EW:[/B] She's not fading – look at those kidney punches with her free hand! [B]YE:[/B] Indeed, and Astil converts it into another rana, sends her into the turnbuckles, drop toe hold as she rebounds, Astil to the top turnbuckle, [B]EW:[/B] SWANTON! Jaffa's down and their match hasn't even started!
