I'm glad to see you had addressed personalities. Keep up the good work! Any chance someone can help out with this? Being from Australia it's hard to know what PPV carriers were around in '96 and wikipedia can only tell you so much and I am not filling a 1996 database with 2009 data. I forget what you already have in, but off the top of my head here were the PPV providers in the U.S. in the mid 1990's in order of where id put their size. Viewers choice (Canada also had a Viewers choice called Canadian Viewers Choice) DirectTV CVS(cable video store) - they didnt last much past 1996 Hot Choice (carried R-rated movies and softcore porn, ECW was in brief negotiations with them) I would either Viewers choice and DirectTV at equal size, or Viewers choice 1 larger since according to this 1997 TV Guide article, Viewers choice is in more homes. D16NJD16 Posted June 21, 2009 Share Posted June 21, 2009 Alright, with uni over for the semester and illness preventing me from partying as much as I would like I've been spending a bit of time going over this mod again and trying to fix up some of the things suggested. Changes so far include ... Changed Eddy Guerrero's alignment in WCW Adjusted a lot of stats, including Ahmed Johnson's safety level Lowered some stats in Japan to try to make some balance because after a few years Japanese workers dominate the top 100 Added more gimmicks in the default heel/face section for a lot of workers Gone through and adjusted personalities of freakin' EVERYONE. They may not all be spot on but they are closer to where they should be in my opinion, those I am unsure of generally got a preset. Picked out a few little mistakes Added some more workers, the next release should have over 1500 workers in the database What's left to do from here/what I am working on now is Worker pics - still a lot to do and I am not great at it but I'm going to get what I can done. Angles and storylines - these kind of go together .. still trying to get the hang of storylines by doing some smaller ones. At the moment doing one based on the Brian Pillman/Goldust feud in WWF. Shoot if I knew you were going to hit all of that so soon I wouldn't of done it for myself on my own and just waited. But in all seriousness im glad you got around to making all of those tweaks, its going to make for an even better mod. im looking to adding the storylines to what ive edited so far. And yeah, I didn't know I was going to hit all that stuff either ... but I've pretty much been confined to the house for the last two weeks so had little else to do. I'm up to about 1525 workers, 466 alter egos and I am starting to realize that I am more addicted to finding out about workers than just knuckling down and finishing off the data that is needed. I've been trying to balance stuff out and make pictures which is a huge task. Lots of the old websites I used to go to find rare pictures don't seem to be in business anymore, or insist on updating their galleries with new pictures which I don't really want for a historical mod. Having added bits and pieces of data such as more matches, a few more angles etc I am now in the position where I want to just work on pictures and storylines as much as possible. These are both very time consuming for me as neither are really my strong suits ... so don't expect anything to be complete for a while but if people are interested I might release another beta at some point just so people can see how things are progressing.
