Eisen-verse
Small thing... But did they take out any way of finding out when a certain player was drafted? I've gone through to see some of the new rookies out in my game and there's no listing of what round they were drafted in?

Small thing I know. But just thought id ask.
CQI13
It's not listed on the player profile/information anymore (where you see career stats/season stats)? I haven't had a chance to play yet, but that's where it used to be.

Eisen-verse
Anyone else notice the insane amount of injuries that take place this year? At first glance, 5 out of the top 10 QB's in my game are all currently injured for 6+ weeks.
Mr T Jobs To Me
Yeah, the draft is much improved. Instead of being a straight-line "first pick is the best, then they get almost chronologically worse from there" I've found all my talent except QB (Got this complete weapon with the 12th pick, 97 speed 94 THP... Only 73 OVR but A Potential) in the later rounds. I've had 68's with C potential in the 1st round. Scouting is integral now.

Just by chance, what was the name of the QB you picked up with 97 speed? The same thing happened in my first year but sadly he was drafted a few picks before I could get ahold of him. Craig Edwards
all the non-imported drafts are pre-made. they had a group guys make 30 years of draftees. They did that because in 09 you would have a 240lb RB look like he was only 190lbs

Comradebot
Or you could use the NCAA draft classes. They differ every time you import a new one.

Eisen-verse
After talking about Bolt.... I had to go out and get him in my Jaguars Franchise.

I had to give up a 2nd round pick and Alex Smith (70 overall, Picked him up as insurance behind Garrard) for Michael Bolt and a 4th round pick.

I need a young QB to play behind Garrard as he's already 33 and could see his stats diminish with time (even though he's only a 79 right now).

Excited to see how he plays. Sadly, I won't see much of him though as I traded for him in week 2. So, no pre-season action.
Eisen-verse
Things they should bring back in Madden's Franchise mode... 1) Player Morale Reason: Made for an interesting situation since you had to keep your team happy for the most part or else they wanted out. This is sadly missed in this years game as every team feels exactly the same and it's less about the players on the team overall... Instead, you could bench Brandon Marshall for the entire year and never see any problems for it (outside of the Broncos not having a #1). 2) How a player was picked up by a team. Reason: There's no way to see what round someone was drafted or how they got to any given team now a days. Kind of confuses you through out the seasons as you tend to forget where you drafted such and such. 3) Stadium Quality Reason: Seems really stupid, probably, however, I miss the days where your stadium slowly started to become worse and worse over time. So that way when you actually added on there was a reason to do so as you saw your crummy field go from bad to "State of the Art". Plus, you were given a reason to create a new stadium for your team as it actually made sense why when you're building was showing signs of being worsened over time. 4) Position Battles Reason: Just because I loved them and it made for more realistic football. Don't get me wrong... I love this game! So much so actually. Just wish the Franchise mode was a little more realistic than just playing as a team and doing some things here and there. CQI13
There's always mop up duty. By the way, were those all the ratings for Favre? Those are the ones I saw posted, but not sure if there was something that wasn't listed. I should be able to play it tomorrow or Tuesday, should be fun. EDIT: I'll bite on #2 and #4. Those would be welcome. Not sure about the stadium one, as back in 03/04 they had the additions to the stadium and relocation and you saw some pretty dumb things (i.e. Jets moving to Mexico City, Raiders moving somewhere except LA, etc). As for team morale, I don't think any game has perfected that (sports console game). For the 2K series in basketball, it becomes useless once you reach around 75-80% (won't drop). If they improved it, maybe. But to have it a half assed attempt, I'd rather they leave it out.
