[We were headed toward the final week of August, the week of the pay-per-view event Apple Pie And Wrestling. But first stop is the American Wrestling show we have booked with six matches lined up for the show. As I was in my office preparing my notes and scripts for the show, I got buzzed by my secretary letting me know that Shane Sneer has arrived. I told her to let him in.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg

[i rose to my feet as he walked in and shook his hand, motioning for him to have a seat. [b]Shane[/b] is the former head booker here in USPW and also an old school guy like myself, having run Southern Class Championship Wrestling in Tennessee.]

The Masked Assassin: "What can I do for you, Shane?"

Shane Sneer: "Good evening, Assassin."

[it should be noted that no one here knows my real name and I would like to keep it that way for my own privacy issues.]

Shane Sneer: "I wanted to make a recommendation for a couple of guys for you to sign here to USPW. They're a tag team and held the SCCW Tag Team titles a record three times in my old company."

The Masked Assassin: "The Tennessee Outlaws: Blackjack and Whisky."

Shane Sneer: "That's right, Assassin. I would very much like to bring them in here and I would even step up the reigns to manage the team here in USPW."

The Masked Assassin: "We're kind of full on talent right now, Shane. But I'll tell you what, you set up a meeting between me and those guys and Sam and we'll see what we can do for you."

Shane Sneer: "Thanks, Assassin. I appreciate that. I hate leaving my old guys out to dry."

[i nodded. This one wasn't going to be easy to pass off to Sam but we do need more tag teams. Though I do have an idea for a former title winning team that's already signed with USPW. Too bad they're both faces.]

[The show begins with a video recapping the last show, showing Jumbo Jackson and Shane Sneer on their attack on James Justice! Then the attack by Bruce The Giant is focused on as he hit Freddie Datsun with a near-Giant Choke Slam but he stopped??!!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

[The show opens with the fans on their feet, looking toward the top of the ramp to see who would be coming out first. When the first few chords of 'Liberty' began to play, the fans applauded and raised their hands out, waiting to get a high five from James Justice! Justice walked out and he did give his round of high fives to the fans as he headed out to the ring. He paused on the apron, looking out to the crowd and absorbing in the cheers of 2,000 sold-out fans before he entered the ring. He held a wireless microphone within his right hand.]

James Justice

"DUDES!"

[All the dudes and dudettes in the crowd repeat the phrase.]

James Justice

"Last week, Jumbo Dude, I'm gonna come right out and say it: Justice was NOT served. It was not served because you came out after the match and attacked me. Jumbo Dude, next time you want to confront me? Why don't you do it to my face? Why don't you?"

Jack Griffith

"HEY! C'mere!"

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JackGriffith.jpg

[Jack Griffith came stumbling out of the back with a bottle inside a paper bag. He took a few drinks on his way down, pausing in the middle of the ramp to hold onto the rail and breath heavily. He finally finishes his way down while James Justice looks slightly amused.]

Jack Griffith

"Hey dudarama!"

[Jack takes another swig from his bottle.]

James Justice

"Jack, I think you're out here at the wrong time, pal."

[Jack throws a punch and James dodges it easily, sending Jack Griffith to the floor. Jack looks up at James Justice.]

Jack Griffith

"Hey! C'mere! Come down here!"

[James just shakes his head at Griffith and moves to exit the ring. He slides out and heads up the aisle as Jack Griffith tries to pull himself up and looks like a turtle on his shell. Finally, some security guards come in and help Griffith to his feet and help him to the back.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DustyBin.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/NickyChampion.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/AliciaStrong.jpg

Dusty Bin vs. Nicky Champion

[The opening match wasn't really anything to talk about. The debut of low-level worker Dusty Bin here in USPW after he has been unemployed for quite a long time. Was he ever employed to begin with? He sure is starting high! The camera starts by moving through the bored crowd and picking up on a sign: 'Where is Al the Hillbilly?' Dusty barely got any shots in on Nicky but Nicky's popularity wasn't enough to carry this match. Nicky hit the Hawkeye Hammer and got the three count.]

Winner: Nicky Champion

Match Rating: E

[Alicia entered the ring and raised Nicky Champion's arm in victory and then felt herself get shoved to the ground! Nicky turned...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JDMorgan.jpg

[Clothesline by Jeff Daniel Morgan! Morgan hooks Nicky Champion in the Cross Atlantic Stretch to boos from the crowd! Everyone is looking for someone to save Nicky Champion but nobody comes out! Morgan finally releases the hold and threatens a punch to Alicia before laughing and walking off as Alicia checks on Nicky.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/demonangercoke.jpg

[The camera cuts backstage as the video screen shows the Coca Cola Machine! As the camera pulls back, Anger is shown kneeling in front of it.]

Anger

"Oh wise and mighty Coca Cola, tonight I shall make you proud! Tonight, I shall defeat the American --"

[Anger is interrupted when he gets hit in the head with a coca cola bottle from the machine. Anger looks at it and sighs, taking the bottle and walking off because his match is next!]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/demonangercoke.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FreddieDatsun.jpg

Anger vs. Freddie Datsun

[This match was slightly better than the average match here on USPW American Wrestling but at the same it fell shortly below an average match period. If you can understand that, please send me an e-mail to decipher it for me. One of the highlights of the match was the usual fan sign in the crowd: 'I prefer Cherry (Coke)!!!' Anger was really off his game tonight against the American Everyman. Anger did get in some good shots and nearly hit the Demon Slam but Datsun was able to break free. Datsun caught Anger coming off the top turnbuckle and nailed the Patriot Press, making a cover and getting the three count.]

Winner: Freddie Datsun

Match Rating: D+

[Datsun rose to his feet following the win and turned -- BIG BOOT!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg

[The crowd booed as Datsun had been knocked over by the big boot of Bruce The Giant! Bruce smiles and holds up the USPW World title belt! Bruce reaches down and slips his fingers around the throat of Datsun, raising him to his feet and then up in the air. He turns around and around as Datsun struggles. Bruce -- lowers him down to his feet??!! This is the second week in a row that Bruce turns and walks away from Freddie Datsun. Does he not think him worthy of the Giant Choke Slam?]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JayChord.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/GregGauge.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/MatthewGauge.jpg

[The crowd rose in boos as Jay Chord led out the two mystery men that attacked Call To Action last week. Jay slid inside the ring and picked up a microphone.]

Jay Chord

"Alright, the first thing that I am going to do is I am going to wait until all you idiots in the crowd shut up before you can hear what I have to say."

[Of course this causes the crowd to boo even louder and harder.]

Greg Keith

"Jay, waiting on these fans to shut up would be like waiting for Sam Strong to shut up when he starts rambling on about the so-called good ole days. But how could they be good days when they didn't include the three of us?"

Jay Chord

"So very true, Greg. It is my honour to introduce to USPW, two more second-generation wrestlers. These two men will be watching my back here in my career in USPW. They are the twin sons of Sam Keith: Greg and Matthew. Just like me, they will be paving their own path here in USPW and it will be along the graves of several of these so-called wrestlers here in this company. As a matter of fact, I will allow Matthew here to let everyone know about the match that has been signed for Apple Pie And Wrestling."

Matthew Keith

"First of all, who comes up with this name for the pay-per-view? Seriously? Apple Pie And Wrestling? Sam must be going even more and more senile than he already is. But seriously we will be having a six man tag team match at the pay-per-view. The Gravediggers here against Call To Action and Fumihiro Ota. Gentlemen, we are going to begin digging your graves."

[The three young wrestlers stand in the center of the ring, taking in some boos from the crowd before they head off to the back.]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BrucetheGiant.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/DannyJillefski_alt1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/HappyElwood.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/KatieCameron.jpg

Non Title

Bruce The Giant vs. Happy Elwood

[Not even Katie Cameron at ringside could have the heart to truly watch this match. She looked away and through her fingers as much as she possibly could while Bruce took apart Happy Elwood. The usual fan sign in the crowd got Katie Cameron's attention: 'Happy Happy! Joy Joy! Happy got in a few punches but they didn't even phase the giant. Bruce hit a Giant Headbutt to knock down Happy Elwood. Then he nailed him with the Giant Choke Slam and got the three count as Katie Cameron sighed and shook her head, looking so disappointed in her boyfriend.]

Winner: Bruce The Giant

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/QueenEmily.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/LeadBelly.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/GreaseHogg.jpg

[The camera cuts backstage to show Queen Emily and her USPW World Tag Team Champions The Dirty White Boys. Queen Emily runs her hand down the chest of Lead Belly and up the chest of Grease Hogg as she smiles.]

Queen Emily

"Take a look at the competition here in USPW. There is no one here in USPW that can even match with my Royal Guards. That is one reason why I am looking for a singles competitor. A new Royal Guard. But that will come later. Tomorrow night, my Dirty White Boys will be at the arena where we are holding USPW's Apple Pie And Wrestling. If there is any team in the back that wishes to be Royally Screwed then step inside the ring with the Dirty White Boys. I am so confident in my men that if they ever lose the belts I will give the winning team not only the belts but one night with the Queen. But I don't worry about that because it will just never happen."

[Queen smiles at her men and it's time to cut back to the ring.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/FumihiroOta.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Java.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg

Fumihiro Ota vs. Java

[A match that is about the average of an American Wrestling match. The ninja Ota used his speed to keep away from Java. Once Java caught Ota though he pounded the ninja toward the ground. Java went for a splash in the corner late but Ota moved out of the way! Ota hits Java with the Ninja Strike and then makes the cover, getting the three count as Shane Sneer looks on from ringside very disappointed!]

Winner: Fumihiro Ota

Match Rating: D

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JackGriffith.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/Liberty.jpg

Jack Griffith vs. James Justice

['Southern Justice' and James Justice have had a storied rivalry here in USPW. The storyline behind this definitely helps make this the match of the night. Griffith stumbled drunkenly out to the ring to boos from the crowd and then Justice came out to cheers nearly blowing the roof off this joint! This was an average match overall but the crowd was really into certain things. When Griffith had the advantage he would occassionally go to the bottle and drink. Griffith nearly hit James with the 'Jack in The Box' but Justice managed to get out of it!

Justice made his comeback and started punching away at Griffith in the corner. When he finished the ten punches he dropped down and Griffith fell flat on his face! Justice rolled Griffith over and bounced off the ropes -- SSSSSSTTTTTTAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSS -- DUDE KNEE DROP! The crowd goes wild as Justice sets up Griffith -- LIBERATION SLAM! He hits that finisher and makes the cover as the crowd counts along: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: James Justice

Match Rating: C

[Justice rises to his feet, pumping his fists in the air until he turns...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/JumboJackson.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShaneSneer.jpg

[Jumbo Jackson and Shane Sneer are walking down to the ring. James Justice wanted a face-to-face attack, right? Jumbo slides inside the ring and meets Justice in the center, jawwing. Jumbo pushes Justice! Justice shoves Jumbo back! Punches are thrown by both men! They go back and forth until Shane Sneer attacks James Justice from behind! Jumbo smiles and sends James Justice into the corner -- JUMBO AVALANCHE! Shane Sneer goes over and holds James Justice up -- SECOND JUMBO AVALANCHE! The crowd boos as Justice falls over and Jumbo Jackson raises his arms in victory over his opponent at USPW's Apple Pie And Wrestling. And we've still got our main event to go!]

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/SteveFlash.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/BryanHolmes.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/PlayboyJakeSawyer.jpg

Steve Flash vs. Bryan Holmes

[This was the fourth time that these two wrestlers have met recently and the match honestly did NOT live up to the hype of the last three matches. The matches seemed to genuinely get worse and worse. This was technically the worst of the four matches. Holmes got control in the early-going, pushing Flash against the ringpost outside the ring. Holmes slid Flash back inside and dropped an elbow on the back and shoulders. Holmes continued on the attack for several more minutes, focusing on the back and neck of Flash. Holmes consulted a few times with The Playboy to make sure the strategy they put into place was going well. Holmes bounced off the ropes and was caught by Flash with a spin kick! Holmes was shocked by this and rolled out of the ring quickly!]

[Flash bounced off the ropes and charged toward Holmes -- Holmes moves and Flash stops at the last moment! Flash grabs the top rope and adjusts his leap -- springboard cross body on Holmes outside the ring! The crowd cheers this some as Flash tries to play to them a little. Flash backs up some and then runs toward Holmes, leaping up and running the guardrail -- CANNONBALL SPLASH! What a move by Steve Flash! Flash rolls Holmes back in the ring and he follows in, heading to the top turnbuckle. Flash plays to the crowd for a moment and then leaps -- FROG SPLASH -- KNEES UP! Bryan Holmes got the knees up and Flash splashed right into them!]

[Holmes gets to his feet using the ropes and bounces off the ropes, bringing down Flash with a clothesline! Holmes pulls Flash up and slides behind him -- FULL NELSON! -- FINAL IMPACT! The referee drops down and makes the count:]

[1...

2...

3..!]

Winner: Bryan Holmes

Match Rating: D-

[Holmes releases the bridge and gets to his feet stomping on the prone body of Steve Flash! Holmes pulls him up to boos -- CYCLONE SHOCK KICK!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ArtReed.jpg

[The crowd cheers as the USPW World Television Champion hits the ring! Reed charges Holmes -- SPEAR! Reed brings down Holmes with the spear and begins punching away on him!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW/ShooterSeanDeeley.jpg

[The crowd boos as The Shooter comes out! The Shooter enters the ring and pulls Reed up! Reed throws a forearm to him! Steve Flash pulls himself to his feet and heads for the turnbuckles! Reed sends The Shooter into the ropes -- DROP TOEHOLD! Flash leaps -- FROG SPLASH TO THE BACK OF THE SHOOTER! The crowd cheers as USPW World Television Champion and 'Pure Athlete' Art Reed and 'Remarkable' Steve Flash raise their arms. We're out of time but we'll see you at USPW's Apple Pie And Wrestling!]

I know I'm likely to be wrong about this result but I would love it if this was a debut for the Ring Generals or something with a shock win in their debut helping them live up to their name. A tag division with the Generals, Keith Twins, Mainstream and Strong...almost how I see USPW 2010's tag division :p

I would like to echo everything that Lexa said. Granted I have not been a fan of yours as long as Lexa has but you are one of my favorites on here. I am sure you can see your influence on me in my diary (sorry for the cheap plug it really was not meant that way). I do have to say that I miss the WCW diary but I understand not wanting to write two diaries at once...

I am sure you can see your influence on me in my diary (sorry for the cheap plug it really was not meant that way). I do have to say that I miss the WCW diary but I understand not wanting to write two diaries at once...

First of all, let me say that I am completely and utterly overwhelmed by the growing support for this diary. 12 predictions so far for the pay-per-view is AMAZING! As many of you know, I have not always been the most reliable when it comes to continuing a diary. But this kind of support is the kind of thing that all writers ask for and need. So I say a big thank you to everyone who has read and predicted so far. Each and every one of you chime in to make this diary special. Lexa90, you in particular have always been what I refer to as my #1 fan. You're someone who has stuck by me through thick and thin since the days of my Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling diaries way back when. I cannot thank you enough for that. BHK1978, If I have done anything to influence that wonderful diary you have going then I am honored. I tried the two diary thing with the WCW one and, well, I wouldn't be as far in this diary if I had kept it up honestly, so I am glad I am sticking with one. Though who knows what may happen in the future. If you want some interesting reading though my MACW diaries should still be somewhere in the TEW07 diary forum. Can just run a search for threads there with my name.

I know I'm likely to be wrong about this result but I would love it if this was a debut for the Ring Generals or something with a shock win in their debut helping them live up to their name. A tag division with the Generals, Keith Twins, Mainstream and Strong...almost how I see USPW 2010's tag division :p

I am actually really looking to build up the tag division in USPW. I have been a bit of a fan of tag team wrestling within the past in real life so I am hoping it will translate here to USPW. I'm not gonna say it is or it isn't the Ring Generals coming in to answer the open challenge. But I will say that they are an intriguing choice.
