CQI13
<p>You are probably right. The only part of the tv shows I watch is what they show on the PPVs and the occasional NXT on the network. I just remember her NXT debut to the first time she spoke in ring. Even then I remember her being better suited as a heel. Stuff like Breaking Ground makes her seem like a face.</p><p> </p><p> Not sure I agree entirely on the talent being ruined. Tyler Breeze has found a niche. I wish Apollo Crews was doing better. But The Ascension and The Vaudevillains are where they should be. Corbin could be doing better. (Mind you, these are the first ones that come to mind. There may be examples you feel are more representative of ruined).</p><p> </p><p> But I feel like Corbin and Crews will eventually fill a role and go from there. Not everyone can be (or should) pushed to great heights.</p><p> </p><p> Breeze for example. Loved his work in NXT. But the character is suited to his current role on the roster. He's revived Fandango (forgot he was still employed).</p><p> </p><p> As for surprise debuts, some people have 'it' and some don't. I hadn't seen Zayn or Owens prior to their WWE/NXT run. Heard of them, never saw them.</p><p> </p><p> I saw Zayn and said "Meh. Guess it's cool." But I saw Owens and from the beginning I thought he was going to be a star in WWE. And I saythat based on first exposure only. Their promo work helps (I find Owens to be head and shoulders above Zayn in that department). But I am sure that comes down to personal preferences.</p>

shawn michaels
Nikki got a face reaction at SummerSlam (and because she has a ton of fans despite being predominantly heel) and Carmella got no reaction so they did a quick double turn. Came off a little rushed but I don't mind. Look how stubborn Vince is with turning guys like Reigns and Rollins. It's clear which show Vince is running and which show is being given creative licence to flourish. You mean between Raw and SD? Because I see no creative flourish in any of them right now. Let's see how it evolves.
milamber
You mean between Raw and SD? Because I see no creative flourish in any of them right now. Let's see how it evolves. We'll agree to disagree then. To me last week's Smackdown was a well-written, well-structured and entertaining show from start to finish, far better than the usual go-home shows. The showrunner is Ryan Ward who was head writer in NXT when Neville, Zayn and the Four Horsewomen were there. TakeOver: R Evolution is a fine example of his work. thecoolestjedi12
Just a Fantastic job of believing in KO, can't wait for this title reign to begin and hopefully, a Babyface Seth Rollins, which will be awesome.

K-Nection
Kevin Owens is probably one of the few people who could win a title by screwing his opponent and get praised for it....the guy is just that good at being a heel....#teamowensforlife

shawn michaels
There's a huge discussion online on who actually will turn face, Rollins or HHH. In all honesty, the question did cross my mind, (even if for seconds only) which means it was a great ending, leaving some wondering and craving for more. BHK1978
I did not see the match but I saw that Big Cass was in it. I found it odd that they put him in such a high profile match with him just being a tag team guy and all. I remember reading once that Vince sees him as the new Kevin Nash so maybe this was a test drive to see how fans would take him in a high profile match. ThriceP86
Cass showed that he could keep up but yeah, he's like Nash in that he's very limited in the ring. Not that there is anything wrong with that. He's over like crazy and a big guy so that's all that really matters... well, in Vince's eyes. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

milamber
<p>Best Raw since the one after the brand split. They copied Smackdown and used cohesive storytelling leading to an entertaining main event. It was still too long but the Cruiserweight Division will help with that soon.</p><p> </p><p> That was the best surprise TV ending WWE have pulled off since Rollins split the Shield. Greylocke
<p>Am I the only one who's feeling a little paranoid for Owens' health? Rampaaage
I was 100% sure Rollins was turning face, until he cut that promo at the top of Raw when the four men were in the ring. He seemed to be far more heelish than Owens, which makes me think maybe Owens and HHH will work together as faces? Hard to say because of the whole JerichKO thing, but it definitely has me excited for next week's Raw.

Trips leads NXT on the main roster as a quasi face authority figure? but that has problems too, not like Steph wasn't using his "kids", they are all in high profile spots.
