Wait a minute that avatar has never been employed by the WWF and therefore cannot be posted in this thread!

Now for something that is on topic, why oh why is Booker T. on commentary?

Don't get me wrong I have always been a huge Booker T. fan but some people just do not have the talent to do commentary. And Booker T. is one of them.

I never bothered getting attached to the idea of Christian as a World Champion, because it was really never meant to be taken seriously. You're crazy if you thought he was going to get the TNA treatment. He was just their last resort. Look at the SD line up. Show and Kane aren't anything new, and wanted time off. Henry needed time to be built up as a threat, which is now complete. Taker is chillin at his crib, bald and ****. And Wade, Sheamus and Rhodes can't be depended on YET.

That left Christian. Reliable, good in the ring, good on the mic. He was their only choice until they were able to build up someone else(Henry). Sure, they let Christian get in a few wins, and two terribly short title reigns. That was just so the feud would drag out a little longer since they were putting on good matches anyway, and they didn't want to rush Henry's push. They still made sure that Orton eventually murdered Christian every other week. The Christian push was never really meant to be that big of a push. Oh well, at least we got good matches out of it.

Well King and JR have the advantage of being dare I say pussies.

It's always easier to be a commentator by being a ***** because for the most part you have to be easily sensitive, appalled, disgusting, weak, annoying, the list goes on and on.

In contrast Cole is built up as an elitist prick. He's the guy who builds up guys like Miz and Daniel Bryan by being a heel himself. His bickering is meant to built up the characters, not the action. That's the job of the other two guys. They have to keep up with Cole but unfortunately not even JR seems to have a knack for this.

Booker is bad but he can't just imitate the King. The King was sold as a ***** when he came to the WWE and commentating fit his character while it wasn't so long ago that Booker wrestled. Booker is meant to be his own character. Either that or he's meant to be the token black Don West. Neither of that fits in with what King/JR were and King/JR weren't exactly carbon copies of previous commentators.

Anyway I don't really get this neutrality that follows Bret Hart all the time. Any other wrestler and they would have more haters/nuthuggers but with Bret it's always that Bret might have been the jerk. That Bret might have been in it for himself. That Bret might be the one who deserves being screwed by the boss because all he wants is money or to ruin the WWF.

Bret isn't some common superstar like Hogan and HBK. His reign as champion had seen the most diverse run of champions not just in who headlined the events but how each events transpired and how differently each main event storyline was sold. That's why even something like punching Vince Mcmahon was a big deal. At the time of his reign, that guy was the closest equivalent to a wrestling saint that got the belt in the top promotion and had a long reign with it. Accusing him of being someone who might be just as much of a jerk as a general superstar like HBK who aimed to follow the wrestling politics of past superstars to retain the belt is what ruins the IWF's credibility sometimes. No one's saying this guy's perfect but do we have to ignore the man's history and resort to the general idea of how autobiographies are flawed just to make a jerk be less of a jerk and a great guy be less of a great guy? At the very least bring up some specific counter examples for God's sake.

Booker T says his in-ring days are not over and to "stay tuned" on a possible return to the ring. Booker, who wrestled Jack Swagger on Raw TV two months ago in an unhyped singles match, tweeted on Wednesday: "Q. Why am I not wrestling now. I feel great, I still train daily I'm going to finish it, so just stay tuned." Booker also picked up where RVD left off in TNA claiming the Young Bucks (Generation Me in TNA) disrespected him at TV this week. Read Booker's tweets at Twitter.com/BookerT5x.
