<p><strong>Extreme Rules review:</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jericho vs Fandango</strong> - Fun match to open with. Fandango was a little botchy. I wish Jericho were a full-timer.</p><p>

<strong>Kofi vs Ambrose (US Title)</strong> - Good chemistry. Fast-paced and even match-up. Ambrose deserves the belt.</p><p>

<strong>Sheamus vs Henry (Strap)</strong> - A unique and entertaining match. Both guys did well.</p><p>

<strong>Swagger vs ADR (I Quit)</strong> - Great match that made both guys look good. Could have used more weapons and less "Do you want to quit?" Towel throwing swerve was weird.</p><p>

<strong>Hell No vs Shield (Tornado Tag Title)</strong> - Not the best match in this feud but close enough. Had a few good spots, a sick finisher and Shield got the clean sweep!</p><p>

<strong>Show vs Orton (Extreme Rules)</strong> - Crowd were super hot for Orton. The punt was cool. Decent match but it would have been boring without the extreme rules stipulation.</p><p>

<strong>Ryback vs Cena (WWE Title)</strong> - Surprisingly epic match that benefited greatly from the extreme rules stipulation. Good length, crazy finish and Ryback came out looking like a tough SOB.</p><p>

<strong>HHH vs Lesnar (Cage)</strong> - Brutal match that hopefully ends the feud. Hidden sledgehammer! Heyman played his part well. Lesnar sold the knee injury like a badass and finally went over!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Verdict:</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Bland card on paper but the PPV was solid. Shame half the card was anything but extreme. I predicted all the results except the WWE Title draw but the booking all made sense. WWE continue to nail the Shield storyline. The main events delivered against my expectations, however the WWE Title match should been on last. I hope Lesnar interferes in the Ryback vs Cena rematch to get a crack at Cena's title at Summerslam.</p><p> </p><p>

<p>I thought the PPV was solid, expecially considering the lackluster build and the fact that one of your "main event" champions is sidelines with an injury. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm not getting carried away and saying it was amazing, but solid. I thought Ryback/Cena was kinda crappy (who sells who in this match?) but the finish made me forget about the match. HHH/Lesnar was pretty cool. I thought it was a neat little story they played out. ADR/Swagger was a tv match nothing greatnothing bad. Shields' wins were awesome to see. The Ambrose/Kofi match was really cool I thought they did a great job with that one.</p><p> </p><p>

Like I said, bad build but a decent card with good, albeit predictable, booking.</p>

Heyman rumouring a 3rd client being introduced tonight, think we all know who it probably is <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />.

<p>WHY ARE WE POSTING IN WHITE WHEN IT ALREADY AIRED?!?!?! Jesus man if someones that sensitive about spoilers that they cant read about something that's already aired live among the company's biggest TV audience they really need to avoid the thread. It's not all about YOU. A spoiler would be when something tapes weeks (or in TNAs case months) in advance to be aired at a later date. Once it's aired it's not a spoiler it's simply YOU not wanting to be exposed to it which is YOUR problem.</p><p> </p><p>

I mean I'd understand if we're in a wrestling thread and you're giving away Game of Thrones spoilers. That would be a jerk move because it's unexpected. But are we really not allowed to talk about an event on a wrestling show that's already happened on a thread solely dedicated to the company? Really?</p><p> </p><p>

I'll respect the rest of the board without revealing the spoiler (even though I almost want to out of spite) but it's definitely something for the smarks to get excited about. We've been whining the guy hasn't gotten the right chances yet, well here it is. Let's see what he does with it. I do think good things are happening though. There's a lot of new blood in the company right now doing different stuff int he ring. Could lead to a very exciting time for wrestling fans.</p><p> </p><p>

Also: Dean Ambrose and Kofi Kingston could wrestle every week for the next year and I wouldn't get bored watching it.</p>

If that's the case then the title of the thread needs to be changed and rules need to be enforced about spoilers. As far as this <span style="color:#FFFFFF;">Joe Hennig</span> thing goes, I would hardly consider anything that happens on a live show as spoiler worthy, unless there are some people here who don't get Raw live, which is certainly possible considering the diversity of this forum, at which point I will restate that the title of this thread needs to change and spoiler warnings should be enforced.</p><p> </p><p> Just to be safe the rest is in white:</p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> Curtis Axel, formerly Michael McGillicutty and Son of Mr. Perfect, is a guy I certainly think is deserving of a push. Triple H is allegedly high on him, so hopefully that bodes well for his chances at actually getting a sustained push and not the typical push, depush, then repush treatment WWE seems to love giving many of the other fresh faces they bring up.</span></p>

<p>Well it is dumb. You might feel like you're saying "it's dumb" nicer than me, and if that's the case, well I'm happy for you. But it's dumb nonetheless. We always talk about Raw after it happens, and in some cases while it's happening. To protect this thing when milamber posts full show breakdowns is just kinda... well... dumb.</p><p> </p><p>

ryback rules.</p>

*puts on mod hat*

This thread seems to get more reported posts than almost every other thread on the forum. It's getting to the point that I'm going to close this and start dishing out warnings and posting bans to a lot of the people in here as it seems that people simply can't play nice at all. While I'm here, some reminders.

1. Petty bickering is not welcome on the forums. Those instigating or maintaining it will get warnings and there is a chance of posting privileges being revoked if it keeps going.

2. Flaming, trolling or insulting people will do the same. It's perfectly possible to be able to get your point across without resorting to any of that.

3. Spoilers only matter before something is aired, it's polite to avoid posting spoilers if possible but if it has already aired then it's not a spoiler any more.

With that said.... bigtplaystew, you completely over-reacted to people trying to be nice. That level of hostility is the kind of thing that falls into the above categories and there was no reason for it.

So to everyone who posts in here, in future play nice. If I have to close this thread then I will. I expect everyone to be able to be able to communicate their points without the need for hostility, insults or other behaviours that are negative. I hate enforcing rules but I'm increasingly hating the number of messages I get in my inbox about reported GDS posts, a sign that more people are not enjoying things here. And I have to do something about that.

<p><strong>Raw review:</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Fandango/Barrett vs Miz/Jericho</strong> - The midcard version of a Teddy Long main event. Match was a non-event but Fandango's trolling was funny. Will Fandango be in trouble for knocking that guy over in the aisle?</p><p>

<strong>Sheamus vs Titus</strong> - Good match for The Big Deal and the announcers put him over well. Did Titus say the F-word?</p><p>

<strong>Heyman reveal</strong> - WTF! At least they updated his look, name and theme. Cesaro would have been my choice (Connor O'Brien or Kassius Ohno if it had to be someone from NXT).</p><p>

<strong>ADR vs Big E</strong> - Big fan of both these guys. Word is WWE are high on Big E but are going to take their time building him up. Props to Big E for being a crowd-favorite face on NXT and booed heel on Raw/SD at the same time.</p><p>

<strong>Shield vs Hell No/Kofi</strong> - Good and long match. Crowd was hot. But this feud is in danger of being repetitive. It needs to end at Payback.</p><p>

<strong>Swagger vs Orton</strong> - Decent match. Swagger looks strong, Orton keeps his momentum going.</p><p>

<strong>HHH vs ????</strong> - HHH concussion angle? It was such a weird ending to the show I almost believed HHH was legit in trouble.</p><p> </p><p>

BTW, if anyone thinks I'm posting my reviews too early let me know. I'm in Australia and don't watch it live. It's hard to know with 8 hours time difference to the US.</p>

I hope I'm not out of line going off topic but I just want to apologize to the board for being a jerk. I really didn't mean it. I apologize to you, Bull, and to anyone I might have offended when ripping the notion of protecting spoilers. Like... you're all just trying to be nice lol. You don't need some grumpy jerk with a keyboard telling you it's dumb to consider the thoughts and feelings of others lol.

I realize now after a nap and some time away how silly that post came across, and I do sincerely apologize.

Like previously stated, they were just trying to be nice but I dont think it's necessary to worry about spoilers after they already aired. It happened on live TV, broke out on the internet, etc. The next day especially is perfectly appropriate to discuss the events of Raw the night before. I liek your breakdowns and comment on them frequently, so I personally think you're fine but that's just me.

Also... so Joe Henning lol. Thoughts? Like I said before it's a smark-centered move. We've been whining that they never gave him anything much to work with so now they did. The repackaged him, put him on the main event on Raw, and are clearly giving him one hell of a rub. So I hope the dude makes the most of it. We've all been told why he's one of, if not the most underrated guy on the whole roster so now's his chance to prove he deserves a spotlight. If I recall Triple H is actually very high on him.

I'm fairly certain every member here has been a keyboard warrior at some point in their life whether they admit or not, so I think we can forgive you :p

I'm glad they went with Joe Hennig though. Last year's Wrestlemania, the Rock trained with Joe and Curt Hawkins and sang their praises on Twitter and in interviews. I was shocked they didn't do more with either of them after that.

Loved McGuillicutty's match with Ted Dibiase on Superstars/Main Event the other week. It made me want to see more of the guy. Glad they're doing something with him.

Terrible name though. Sounds too much like Kurt Angle for my tastes.

Curt Hawkins and Ryder need similar rubs. This would make my day complete.

I really am loving the "new blood" though giving you a slightly different look at the in-ring product. This is something I know Triple H said himself on a radio show I listen to that he wants done. He said he wanted over the next years (note years not months) to bring more focus back to quality in-ring storytelling.

I think when you watch Ambrose and Kofi you're seeing that kind of potential. Are they revolutionizing wrestling? As Ambrose would say, "Nope." But they are doing things slightly against the grain and it looks a little different in there than we're used to. Ambrose in particular stands out with his style but I see it happening with other guys too. Little by little. They're small changes but still changes nonetheless. Could be a great time for us as fans. OR it could pass like several other fads, these guys will all get cut, and they'll turn to Batista to headline WM30 lol. We'll see.

Wait, so Hennig managed to actually get past the awkwardness that was "the beginning of the genesis of Michael McGillicuddy" back in NXT2?

Also, is he a Paul Heyman Guy for REAL, or just for the angle they're building?

I would assume it's an angle but I mean it makes such perfect sense doesn't it?
