However, although I think Bryan is going to stay relevant for a good while, there is the possibility his mainstay won't "stay".... He's not as solid as Punk yet. I'm hoping he gets there though.

However, Bryan is better then Ziggler on all fields IMO. I can't think of anything Ziggler is better at. Bryan is at ease on the mic, has timing, and I don't feel Ziggler does (but I also believe this is something that will come over time/practice). In ring, I don't even have to go there.

He's bigger and has a better physique? He looks more like a stereotypical champion?

To me it's more important to stand out, without looking like a freak that is, to be able to make it obvious when you set foot on the mat, that it's you... no one can mistake you for someone else. This is something Swagger had, but lost somehow, but DB has it.... So does Punk.

Looking different and being talented means more then "bigger and better physique" or "more like a stereotypical champion". You can look at people like Cena and Sheamus, Orton or Rock, etc... and say "Hey, they are all muscular and stuff!" or... You can notice that there is no way your going to NOT know that's them in the ring... Same with Austin, although at times a couple of my friends got him mixed up with Goldberg. Point is they were all talented in a way that got them noticed... no matter if it was in entertaining and talking, or in the ring.

I've thought he was great when he was part of the Hollywood Blondes, Pillman and Owen as well, but I always thought Austin stood out way back when.

I was a huge fan of Austin going back to when he first came into WCW. However, I never saw him as anything but a TV or maybe US Champion sort of guy. Then he blew up and became a megastar and I was shocked that this guy from WCW, who was always a second fiddle type of star, had become the biggest star of his time.

And while I sort of see the resemblance to Gunn, Ziggler's better in most all respects, and Gunn's a guy that had a ten year run with the company, was given about a million chances, and won 10 tag team titles, based primarily around him having a valuable look.

Both Road Dogg being offered the push, and him turning it down. Road Dogg was awesome at what he did, but I didn't see a lot of untapped potential there. I saw him a couple of years ago, teaming with Nash on an indy. He said his catchphrases. Took some heat. Jabs. Knee Drop. Pumphandle. I went away happy. Saw the entire Road Dogg act. Quality midcarder.

HATED Billy Gunn with a fiery passion back in the day. Especially "The One". Now, looking back, I like him. Billy & Chuck era especially.

You have to remember the talent pool these days is far drier than it was in Gunn's era. So the fact Gunn never got over was largely because another train was always coming: Foley, Rock, Triple H, Austin, somebody always derailed his push. I think Ziggler is just far more fortunate the WWE can't make new stars like they used to. Because he just strikes me as vanilla WWE Superstar No. 135 just like Billy Gunn did... Stars usually break the mold. Both of them always seem/ed to embrace it.

If any of you guys get the opportunity, watch the documentary called, "The Wrestlers: Fighting With My Family". It covers a year in the life of the Knight family from England and includes the moment when Britani was signed to a WWE developmental contract.

Highly recommended viewing.

I enjoyed it a part from the mum, who was annoying. I thought at first they were going to make wrestling look like some "Big Fat Gypsy Wedding" thing where they basically make people look stupid so the viewer feel better about their crappy lives, but it was pretty good in the end. The voice over were bigging up her being on TV a bit though :p

First of all, the Bellas don't look like drag queens.

Secondly, the idea that ANY wrestler, least of all one like Road Dogg, TURNED DOWN a push is simply hard to believe.

Pretty sure I've heard a few wrestlers in their time decline pushes, even non veterans. It is sort of a different ball game climbing up the ladder, plus there could be so many issues at those times unbeknownst to us, whether politics, schedule obligations or relationships.

Really?

Most of the time... yes. Really. It'd be pretty sad news if we all found the same women attractive sooooo if you don't agree with my comment, fine - I have no problem with you thinking they are hot or whatever, but it doesn't make what I THINK change in any way - even with a heavily edited picture.

See above, you don't think they do and that's fine, I however have a shocking difference of opinion to you.

I never found the Bellas attractive myself.

Same here.

I quoted Fleish because I agree with him too. I've always felt something looked odd about them, and he nailed what it was. They look like men in make-up, in the face.
