I'm saying it now, before it's too late, the next WM needs to have...

The Rock vs. Undertaker

Taker is this close to complete retirement, and it's a matter of time until The Rock is happier staying in Hollywood full time again. While they're both still involved with the WWE, they need to start getting them ready for it next year. It may not be the most technically brilliant match, but my gods, imagine the heat. Can "The Great One" also become "The First One"?

The fact they didn't do it this year worries me it may never happen, but obviously Cena/Rock was the longterm plan, and I'm sure Punk enjoyed the honor of being the next of Taker's victims.

Not sure they want to turn Rock heel. He's the only babyface on Cena's level. Plus, Taker would have to carry him, which is a bad idea. They could go with Lesnar but I'm not sure Taker could take the punishment like HHH can. I'd be happy with Punk round 2.

I don't think you need face vs. heel for the streak at this point. Face vs. face with the streak on the line is enough.

I can't help to replay Zigglers win.. Just look at that man in that moment. That's years of love for wrestling right there, the childhood dreams coming true.. Second World title reign, I don't think he even counts the first one (that was awarded to him by Vickie after DQ'ng Edge by using the spear) since he lost to Edge in the same night and thus had zero defences of the belt.

Wouldn't it be good to be in your shoes Ziggler. :)

Post-RAW Cena promo / more crowd action. Love it!

Zigglers cash in live

Thanks for these - love that train ride!! Reminds me of the 90s coming back from Grateful Dead shows at Madison Square Garden with everyone singing Casey Jones or Big Railroad Blues at the top of their lungs!! :)

Ziggler cashing in on Raw was much better than it would've been at WrestleMania, he took his own moment and made himself the talking point of that show, rather than getting lost in the hype surrounding everything at Mania - he waits until the big names have done their thing and then the next night where there's no Rock/Triple H/Lesnar/Punk he takes his moment in the spotlight that he craves so much.

It's the same where I've seen people wanting heel turns on the PPV - people who've bought the pay-per-view have bought it for the matches and the spectacle, but it's the TV show after where you've got keep people interest and get them to buy the next pay-per-views and it was a great show. I enjoyed Mania though, so maybe people who didn't wanted more excitment, but I went in it knowing what to expect and got that out of it. The way they did Raw on Monday was great because after the 'season finale' usually there's a period where there's nothing while you wait for the next season, but with Raw it was just right back on it, and it perfectly illustrated the no off season thing they like to say.

It's not often I get to be this positive about WWE, so I thought I'd take the chance while I could :D

Traditionally, Wrestlemanias are for clean pins and sending the crowd home happy and satisfied. That's they "pay off". So if you think of it like that, it's easy to see why it made more sense to see Ziggler cashing in on Raw.

Plus, look at how much more effect i had! If it happened at wrestlemania I'd be reading about how his moment was destroyed by an awful wrestlemania lol. Instead, it was part of an awesome raw.

Totally unrelated and off-topic but I got a haircut today: My long hair dyed black except two stripes on the right side of the head that I wanted to be coloured to white/grey.

They came off as beige, yellow, and now I look like Seth Rollins. And I didn't even realise it immediatly.

lol.

Now everytime I walk into a bar the Shield theme will start playing in my head. God damn it.

Will you make sure justice is amongst the things served in the bar? :p

Worked out for the best though. Probably will go down as Ziggler's biggest career defining moment. And I am happy for the guy. While I question his ability to maintain a Main Event slot, he deserves the chance to prove me wrong. However they wanted Del Rio to get over, they know the TV demos are changing, wanted him to be their "Champagne Lover" if you catch my drift.</p>

So I didn't see Wrestlemania, or RAW, but I did get to see this compilation of RAW best bits.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wd-MMVEaW5M

Or in reality, the crowd's best bits. They were awesome.

But I'll have to admit, Cena was awesome to. What were the reactions to the crowd? Sheamus laughed, Orton got pissed, Big Show and Mark Henry ignored them, Jericho didn't do a Lionsault and... Cena ballroom danced. Awesome. If only Henry had done the same... although given his monstrous heel gimmick perhaps it wouldn't have been the best idea.

I'm hoping that they run with Ryback as a bad ass who just beats people who annoy him up, and then let the crowd decide whether or not to turn him, rather than force a trn that clearly didn't happen on Monday!

I haven't really seen anything to set Ryback up as heel yet, outside of doing what he did to Cena. Can't help to think that was just supposed to be part of his character... "You're here, you have the title, I want it just as much as Henry!" That's what I got out of it, because of the title holding at the end - "This is why I did it!".

because nobody is allowed to get near Cena as a face, just ask CM Punk.

.

The guy he just wrestled on Sunday might disagree with that.

Regardless, the Ryback heel turn seems inevitable at this point. Whatever momentum he had on his babyface rise has since been squandered for one reason or the other. I hope Fandango's watching.
