Fleisch
I'm still not sure on whether Sabin being champion is good or not. On one hand I like the fact TNA have put the belt on someone you wouldn't really expect them to - and Sabin is pretty deserving of the belt, but on the other hand I really enjoyed Bully Ray as champion. I'm just going to see where they go with it - hopefully there will be a few more twists before BFG.
Rone Rivendale
Am I the only one who really hopes they bring back "Hail Sabin" as his entrance theme now that he is the World champion? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
The Final Countdown
Am I the only one who really hopes they bring back "Hail Sabin" as his entrance theme now that he is the World champion? Isn't the song he uses now just a newer version of that one?

Personally, my favourite version was the one that basically ripped 311's Offbeat Bare-Ass.</p><p> </p><p> As for Sabin as champion. Tbh, I don't have a real problem with it, it just seems a strange choice of time and method for having him capture the belt. As Self posted earlier, the use of Aries in the build felt like a poor choice, because Aries slipping in to Destination X under the rader made for a better story for me, rather than Sabin just overcoming the 'injustice' the next week - setting Aries up as the type of maverick Hogan et al would be forced to back into taking on Bully, knowing he was a good shot to retake the belt as Aries is alway 'sizing things up' and would find a way to do it no matter what corners he had to cut. Then you just allow Aries ego to get the better of him and have Bully take back the belt in time for BFG if indeed, he's to do so.</p><p> </p><p> But yeah, I like Sabin. I'm not convinced he has enough about him to be 'the man' in the company for a meaningful amount of time, but given the focus is sure to be on A&8s vs MEM and the BFG series, it's as good a time as any to use a short-term champion. If I'm honest, I'm getting an air of Christian's post-Edge WWE title win about this and wouldn't be surprised if the belt is back on Bully within 1-2 weeks. We'll see.</p>
bigtplaystew
<p>I definitely loved the Aries/Suicide promo. I thought that was epic. I thought it was brilliant crowd control. I thought the idea and the execution were too bad ass.</p><p> </p><p> I definitely think it's a perfect example of the different between TNA and WWE. TNA seems committed to long term booking whereas WWE flip flops all the time and is far more adaptable.</p><p> </p><p> This has has pluses and minuses for both. I think TNA's long term booking over the last several months has been (for the most part) great. You can pick out a few example of dumb stuff they chose, but they've mostly had long builds with payoffs... something WWE almost never does anymore.</p><p> </p><p> On the other hand, it's obvious the Sabin/Aries/Bully situation leading into Destination X was a long term plan. I feel like WWE would have felt the huge buzz coming from that Aries promo and switched things up. I think Aries/Bully pulls much bigger numbers after that promo than Sabin/Bully.</p><p> </p><p> That said, I think it's kind of cool that TNA stayed committed to giving Sabin a shot at the top. They almost seem to have said, "Nope, we think he's great. We think he can pull five star matches from top level guys. We want to build him up to be believable there". And they did it. They didn't just swtich things up like the 'E would have based on a flash-in-the-pan reaction. They stuck to their guns and I think Sabin/Bully ended up being a pretty darn good storyline match for what it was. I thought Destination X was a great TV show. I really do. I think they've got some really great stuff going on right now.</p>
Warhawk8492
While TNA is having money problems they are FAR superior to WWE in terms of product. I can't stand the current WWE product, I only bother with RAW and Smackdown for CM Punk and Bryan Danielson.

Since than, it's always been unconfirmed rumours. Cutting back on costs and a bloated roster at a time of investment, where they are taking Impact on the road is good business policy. The kind of policy that ECW/WCW should have followed. Until someone actually produces proof that they are really having bad money issues, i see no reason for alarms.</p>
liontamer
<p>Enjoyed the "Big Sexy/Kevin nash" chants for the lawyer as that was my first thought as well. Ultimate X was ok, but what the heck are they going to do when someone screws up and seriously gets hurt?</p><p> </p><p> Also when did they change the X title? I hadn't noticed until last night.</p><p> </p><p> Still surprised Sabin won. I would have preferred Aries kept it and challenged. After Sabin got it back, I fully expected Rampage to turn on the mafia and cost Sabin the title.</p>
Rone Rivendale
Misawa died after a routine back suplex. You can't worry about the danger when you are in the ring. When you are a wrestler you go into the match knowing there is a risk of injury or worse. You just have to do your best to protect your opponent and hope that he/she is doing the same for you. Rickymex
I'm think a MITB match is more dangerous than the Ultimate X match.
Swagger
<p>I think the spots in the MITB dictate how dangerous it is. The risks are more "built-in", so to speak, in Ultimate X.</p><p> </p><p> Fun match though.</p>
Rickymex
I just think they have more control falling from the wire and the stage than from ladders. Just like Sheamus fall where he landed on his leg compared to falling flat on your back from the wire.
Jaysin
Anyone have any predictions for the August 1st Warning video? In the video they claim they don't work for TNA or Spike TV, so it's either a indy guy or a former WWE guy. My initial guess is Adam Pearce, but my unrealistic, wshful thinking, "god I hope it's him" guess is Krimson. If you haven't seen it, it's here.
