TNA had an ok show last night. IDK if it was just me but it seemed like the fans didnt really pop much if at all when MVP was revealed. Same thing when Tito Ortiz debuted.

Despite that, Im happy that TNA has him. WWE really screwed up his push for no reason. Now that TNA is cutting the expensive fat from their roster I hope they build him up properly. He's up there in age but they can salvage a Bully Ray-ish push out of him. I just realized that TNA can now do the Anderson/MVP feud that the IWC thought would be the next Austin/Rock several years ago.

Although I feel like WWE is still better storyline for storyline, TNA's not doing bad for themselves right now.

When Tensai left he became the top gaijin by default. To my knowledge he was the first one since Rick Rude in the early 90s to go to the G-1 Finals (in 2012) and he's had some title bout main events on PPV since then as well.

Devitt is just now getting pushed starting with last year, but Anderson has been there for a good while. I think MVP actually referred to him as the gaijin Ace .

Kind of underwhelmed by the investor reveal. But then it was rather a messy process for me. The DVR shut off just before the key segment. So I go to Youtube to try and look the segment up and they were all over the place. It seems you either couldn't cut right to the chase or the headers suggested chicanery. So it was only by coming here that I found it was MVP. I'd be much happier with his news if I could have seen it smoothly. But after all the hoop jumping I had to do, it feels a little lame. Give me a Flair or a Jarrett or someone more significant, the hoops feel worthwhile. MVP? I like the guy but he's not important enough a figure to fight that hard for.

I was never really a fan of MVP but maybe he will change my mind the way the Pope did while he was in TNA.

I have to say Madison Rayne is looking really good lately.

Just got home from from the london shows went not knowing anything except hoping samoa joe was there

Really enjoyed it but got major burn out and confused as they never announced when one show finished and the other started

Also had the most bizarre six man tag with Wolves and MVP vs Roode, Aries and Robbie E, which included mvp repinning Robbie E

Also loved a guy called Samuel Shaw who was really creepy abd am looking forward to Joe vs Magnus at Lockdown, and Bad Influence did a good bit for xplosion that made me chuckle

The Perfect Athtlete Shanna is awesome. And not just because she's Portuguese. In fact i have been criticizing my fellow Portuguese wrestling fans that are happy that she might sign with TNA (on a full time basis, since that isn't confirmed yet) just because of her nationality, when some of them haven't even watched a match or a promo of hers. It will be a good add to their women's division and I hope they keep her around permanently.

But NBC just to have a promo that they did in rerun season that encouraged you to watch the reruns because if you haven't seen it, then it's new to you.

Shouldn't the same principle apply with wrestling gimmicks? You may be factually accurate that it's a revival of an old shtick for Jeff. But we don't all see the same shows and the same characters. So this gimmick is new to Truly. Just like it's new to me. And I would imagine it's new to a sizable chunk of TNA's national audience.

I've heard the name Willow spoken in relation to Jeff Hardy before. But since he's been a solo act, I haven't cared enough about him to go any research and get the details. Isn't this just a shtick he did the brothers' personal playground fed? Or am I forgetting some indy/international usage as well? All I know is this is the first time I remember ever seeing him looking like the proto-Tonto from Disney's Lone Ranger remake and sounding like a gothic brooder. And while the gimmick does nothing for me, at least he's giving me a break from "the Charismatic Enigma Jeff Bueller"

There's snobby wrestling fans acting like, "this again" which is pretty insane. Willow The Wisp was actually popular in Omega from what I understand. But I mean, they were cornball over-the-top promos done by a kid. No one knows what we're going to see with Hardy doing this in 2014 and that's a fact. Some people are just snobs and ONLY post in forums and on reddit to feel superior in their old wrestling knowledge, even though they despise the current WWE product.

That said, Jaysin is 100% not one of them. He's a consistently intelligent, reasonable poster and I feel like taking history in context he was just going for a silly joke. Not some type of snobbery. Probably doesn't need to be said but just sayin :-)
