What's going on in your game?

Recommended Posts

I am only starting March of 2010 but I am going along with a brand split in SWF since I got a show on GNN... one of the biggest networks in the game and also the one that TCW is on.

On the last show of Feb, Eric Eisen gave Rich Money a shot at the title with the stipulation that if he lost he would be sent to the other brand. During the match the debuting "Goldan Prince" Prince Rocky came in and cost Rich Money the title, this is going to be my main fued on SWF Uprising.

This will allow me to go along with Eric Eisen and Jack Bruce for a little longer, the two men have NOT met one on one yet. I am going to include Everest as Eisens enforcer in this storyline, using his menace to get over.

Joe Sexy beat Brandon James at the PPV for the title but he doesn't know what he's getting himself into as Emma Chase is going to debut "The Monster" Ray Diaz to get Big Money's title back. Steve Frehley is going to join Sexy in trying to stop these two! But with strength in numbers being huge to Emma, she's going to debut Joseph Minnesota, who has just signed with me but won't be here for a week. This is going to set up a 4 vs. 4 cage wars match where Sexy and Frehley are joined by Valiant and Jack G. Emma is going to promise a big surprise and at the end of the match we get that surprise when Steve Frehley turns his back on his friend. He will debut the next night as "Strickly Business" Steven Frehley. This will also be on uprising.

I have purchased the DAVE unified title and renamed it the SWF Unified, Brandon James is going to bring it in since he was the last one to hold the title. Also since I did this I am going to change my mind and turn this title into a floating title, and have the North American title be the top title on Uprising meaning James is going to stay on Elite. I will now do the storyline I posted up there but without James. It will start off as a fued between Chase and Sexy.

The other storyline I have planned for uprising is going to be the turning of Shady K and Knuckles. The two will turn face trying to stop Kurt Laramee and Big Smack Scott after a beat down of the tag champions. After a brutal/intense hardcore fued between the two teams, I will have the blowoff match as an anything goes match, last man standing. Death Row is going to light a table on fire and go for Laramee, Kurt is going to side step this and push Scott in the way, sliding out of the ring. From outside the ring Kurt is going to watch as Scott gets destroyed 2 on 1, begging for his partner to help him.

BSS is going to take some time off as Laramee goes on an impressive singles run, until BSS comes back as a face and has a fued wi th the king of the streets.

I'm midway through March and I've had to make probably my biggest "wish I hadn't had to" decision. I ended up having to fire Jake Panic. He'd just finished the Snidely Whiplash storyline and freed Woody Cudelli from Klaus Blut and I was going into a story to blow off that rivalry when Panic started spreading rumors about Quick Kick Nakao. Nakao's been making strong progress in getting over and is now upper midcard for me. He has a way to go before he reaches Panic's heights. E for Nakao vs C- for Panic. But I'm confident he can. Plus Panic was still bristly over the "failed" face turn and was deemed an Extremely Negative influence. Even so, I tried to find a less dramatic answer. But previous discplinary efforts had failed and being so small it wouldn't le me just suspend him. So I canned his butt.

Now Panic has a strong dislike for both Nakao and for me. But you know what? I don't care. I got him into the stratosphere of how over guys get for me and I raised his ability to play the face significantly. Even though he may be 40, he should be a more attractive talent to the next place than he was when I signed him. So what if he dislikes me now? He did some outstanding work for me and I got done what I was shooting for. I proved he could be over as a face. Let him feel however he wants now. He's no longer my problem and my locker room rating's shot up from 78 to almost 85% by dropping him. The trade off works for me.

In other news, the only one from that storyline who's going to be on the roster come end of the month is the villian Klaus Blut. Cudelli's contract is about to expire and he's a bit expensive for a midcarder. I've signed on Stretch the Chicken Boy in his place. But unlike Panic, Cudelli could be back at some point. I might even have a role for him. When I get the breathing room to loosen some of my finanical restrictions, I'd like to put him and Ted Brady in a stable called The High Priced Talent.

The Supreme Challenge XXX

Announced Match-Ups

SWF World Heavyweight Championship

Samuel Keith-Gauge vs Christian Faith ©

Samuel Keith-Gauge, otherwise known as former Four-Time World Heavyweight Champion and Two-Time Wrestler of the Year, Sam Keith. Keith came into the SWF in the last week of June, just before TCW's Excessive Force, a huge blow to the promotion who had him in the main storyline going into Excessive Force. Samuel came to the promotion, and instantly began helping his two sons, Matthew and Keith Gauge (Matthew Gauge & Greg Keith), even going as far as getting them a World Tag Team Championship title shot. However, he left his sons on the Elite Brand as he made his way to the Supreme brand, and began to attack Christian Faith after brutal matches. Christian Faith, a never-say-die warrior, who had earned his title following a 30 Minute Iron Man Match with then champion Jack Bruce. Faith challenged Samuel to a match at the Supreme Challenge. Will Faith continue to defy the odds, or will Samuel continue his assault on the champ, en route to earning his Fifth SWF World Heavyweight Championship.

SWF Legends Championship

Greg Black © vs Rick Wolfe

Greg Black started in January, ditching his fun-loving ways and becoming a member of Frehley's Hit Squad, alongside newcomers Jazz Funk, Jay Becker and Malik Cash. The partnership proved good for Black, who won the first SWF Chaos Division championship at SWF's Nothing to Lose in February. Black would go on to defend the title twice before losing it to Lobster Warrior in April, in a Fatal-Four-Way match at The World is Watching. Black then went on a huge winning streak, eventually calling out Rick Wolfe, who had been feuding with his teammate, Steve Frehley. The two had an amazing match on Supreme TV, leading to cowardly post-match attacks by The Blacklist (Greg Black and Steve Frehley), and the rest of Frehley's Hit Squad. Rick Wolfe however, would take none of it. The former World Heavyweight Champion was drafted to the Elite brand following Master of Puppets in May, and competed in the June tournament to determine the first Elite brand Legends Champion. The final match was another Fatal-Four-Way between Wolfe, Black, Frehley and the seemingly unstoppable Tyson Baine. Wolfe went on to hit the Howl at the Moon on Steve Frehley, but despite having his WolfePack, which featured young guns Mr. Future (Steven Parker), The Gauge Boys and John Greed. Black managed to toss Baine out of the ring, and shove Wolfe off of his partner, only to go for the cover himself. Black was unable to get the cover on his partner, but shoved his partner out of the ring before hitting his Fade to Black on Wolfe, scoring the three count, and winning the title. Now, at the Supreme Challenge, the showcase of the immortals, who will be the Legends Champion, Rick Wolfe, or Greg Black.

Grudge Match

Best Two Out of Three Falls Match

Vengeance vs Jack Bruce

Jack Bruce and Vengeance had been on seperate paths since the beginning of the year, but following Jack Bruce's interference in Vengeance's rubber match with Marat Khoklov, it was sure that the two had collided, and at the Supreme Challenge, the greater of the two will be determined in a Best Two out of Three Falls Match. Following Bruce's Ironman Match at Times of Trouble, Vengeance appeared from under the ring and gave Bruce a warning, that at the Supreme Challenge, Vengeance would be served, and that Bruce, would be on the receiving end. Who will take the victory, the Immortal Vengeance, or the Ex-World Champion Jack Bruce.

Falls Count Anywhere Match

Steve Frehley vs Tyson Baine

Tyson Baine came to the SWF late June, just in time to appear on the first broadcast of the Elite Brand's Destination X Pay-Per-View. He competed in the Fatal-Four-Way match, but didn't manage to be the first Legends Champion, losing to Greg Black. Steve Frehley also has his beef with Greg Black. Black, the former teammate of Frehley, turned on him during the match, going for the pin on Frehley, but wound up earning victory at Rick Wolfe's expense. Baine swore that he would gain his vengeance on anybody associated with Greg Black, until he got his match with Black, and sure enough, he firmly believes that Frehley is still associated with Black. That's what brings us to this match today. Will the Dark Destroyer stop yet another Giant, or will Baine run through yet another opponent.

Six-Man Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Mr. Future vs Marshall Law vs Brandon James vs Giedroyc vs Valiant vs Brent Hill

All Six of these men have some sort of issues with each other. Except Mr. Future. Mr. Future, the current SWF Supreme Champion, is looking to earn himself the first of Three Yearly 'Money In The Bank' Contracts, hoping to cement himself yet another title shot. Future won the Supreme Championship, defeating American Machine at SWF's Times of Trouble. Marshall Law and Brandon James have had countless battles against each other for the SWF Intercontinental Championship, Marshall Law, the former Rick Law of TCW, taking victory in all of them. Law then lost the title to Angry Gilmore, which is what puts him in this position at the Supreme Challenge. Giedroyc and Valiant are former tag team partners, and tag team champions, but following Giedroyc's turn on Valiant last month, and his victory over Angry Gilmore, the first Dual Intercontinental and North American Champion, as well as Brent Hill, who is also in this match, caused Valiant to spark some jealousy towards Giedroyc, who now claims he was the talent in the team. Hill is also a former North American champion, and is looking to take revenge over Giedroyc, who took to the title that was 'Rightfully His'. Who will take the first contract, will it be the Supreme Champion, Mr. Future. Former Intercontinental Champion Marshall Law, and former North American champion Brandon James. Or will it be Valiant or Giedroyc, or perhaps Brent Hill.

SWF World Tag Team Championships

The Gauge Brothers (Matthew Gauge & Keith Gauge) vs The Superstars (Troy Star & Freddy Idol) © vs The Amazing Bumfholes (Zimmy & Randy Bumfhole)

The Superstars, Troy Star & Freddy Idol, otherwise known as Troy Tornado and Freddy Huggins have been competing with the best of the tag teams here in the SWF, and are the current Tag Team Champions. Having defended the titles Eight-Times so far. With past victories over both of the teams in this match, it's hard to bet against the Superstars in this match. But can Four-Time Tag Champions the Bumfholes take this one in an upset, or will the Brothers Gauge pull off an even bigger upset by winning their first Tag Championships.

____________________________________________

Now, those are the current matches for the card, but those who I'm looking for somewhere to put them on the card are these folks here -

Intercontinental Champion Angry Gilmore

Shooting Star Champion John Greed

Chaos Division Champion Lobster Warrior

Runaway Train

Marat Khoklov

Bruce The Giant

Marc DuBois

Justice (James Justice)

Joe Sexy

Eric Eisen

Acid

Any thoughts on the show itself or who to put into matches would be great.

Posted this in the Rate My Card thread, but thought I'd post it here as well as It's my first Supreme Challenge ever :) and am really lost for who to put into matches now as far as those last ten guys go.

I've officially failed one of the goals I set for myself in my 2021 WCW game. I spent years, excess money, drug fees, and locker room headaches. His in-ring ability progressed quite a bit, but still never enough for me to give him a World title run. But his popularity was able to hide his in-ring ability because of my product. He won the Rip Chord Invitational in January and was getting ready for a main event title run. October showed that he was fully capable of using his overness to carry a match, but I wasn't happy that my World champion was going to be a juicer.

http://lrodzen.me/images/mattyprogress0.JPG

He was supposed to go over Rocky Golden for the Stampede (formerly World Wide) World title in February, but I changed my plans at the last minute (literally before hitting "Start Show!"). Rocky and him have Great chemistry and their popularity alone was able to carry the match. Rocky has turned into a spectacular worker. His attitude doesn't bring the locker room down and his in-ring skills are insanely good. He spent years in TCW and then CGC before coming to us late last year. His stats in 2021 are night and day compared to 2010.

Back to Matty. He'll be gone when his contract runs out because he hates me (see below).

http://lrodzen.me/images/faithhatesrodzen.JPG:(

Overall - the guy is a jackass. Do you have any idea how accommodating I was to this prick? He's one of the first people I handed out PPV and Merchandise bonuses to. A craptastic performer who hadn't proven himself in the slightest for years and years. I ignored so many incidents, 'Fatherly Approached' him plenty of times without him saying "whatever", and everything after that went downhill. When we hit International I started pushing for him to get off the steroids. He had been caught before when we were Cult and it nearly killed us.

He'll be buried on his brands PPV in the second match of the show. I know it'll be the worst match on the card and nobody will even care about it. I'm hoping his career will be over after I've had him dominated / buried. If he goes to TCW they'll throw him as lower-card guy because his popularity is going to be way worse then it is above in two weeks. If he were to go to SWF he may actually have a chance at an OK career with a Cult fed. He'll never work for me again though. Is that my decision or his? You decide. :p

I like that you teamed him with Vikki...she, erm he, is also underrated!</p>

He now has the ability to carry a match by himself. Him and Matty Faith getting an A-rated match proves that. My last Stampede-brand PPV saw Spencer Spade turn on Rocky - costing him the World title to Kevin Christopher. Rocky and Spencer had been dominating that brand, but Spencer was sick of being HHH and Rocky being HBK. So Rocky turned face (Spade stays heel) and there feud is going to be epic. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I love top-draw feuds that DON'T involve any title belts or anything. They've been like brothers this past year.</p><p> </p><p> I wish this game had "HOLY ****! WTF?!" moments because at that PPV when Spade screwed Rocky out of the title, I can imagine the entire arena going, "HOLY BALLS!" The most fun I've had now is tag matches with Kevin Christopher and Rocky teaming together. "Dude, you took my belt, but I don't hate you because it isn't your fault. I want my rematch when I get rid of Spade for good." <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Just made the jump from Cult to Global on the last day of 2012. Since we're on break until March I'll have plenty of time to stock up on talent. Excited for my yet to be named tour for March and April. May be taking my first trip to Japan in the Summer.

Meanwhile, on WCW Saturday Night in 1998...

After a victory over OMEGA Supreme (Surge and Willow the Whisp), Juventude Guerrera attacks his partner Super Crazy! He is joined by Psychosis, and the two prepare to break Crazy's leg, when La Parka makes the save! The two clear the ring of heels, and La Parka struts!

Next week: La Parka and Super Crazy vs. Juventude Guerrera and Psychosis!

Jamie Noble has silenced his critics and won the TV title! Lance Storm intends to take it to impress Dawn Marie!

The Suicide Blondes Edge and Christian keep running their mouth about, well, everyone! Can Jerry Lynn and Alex Wright shut them up for good!

Does any of this matter? We don't know! ITS WCW SATURDAY NIGHT!!

I wish the crusierweights got their own TV show around that time. Good idea.

So my spending frenzy has now ended. Signed the last contract on the last day of the cool down period.

I called up workers from development to fill up the roster (I went with a relatively small roster up to this point)

Ivan Gutman (who has been taken under Eddie Chandler's wing)

Rob Reynolds

Donte Dunn

Skip Beau (who some how has a C in flying)

George Wolfe

Bruce The Giant

Jonnie Perez

Remmy Skye

Insane Machine

Casey Valentine

Acid II

Marshall Dillion

Zoe Ammis

Donnie J

Madman Boone

Nicky Champion

Since I'm cutting into the US, I decided it would be in my best interests to go after USPW's knees. Which is why I added Nicky Champion who was their World Champion at the time.

With the next tour leading up to the WrestleFestival I'm planning on creating some new titles. Right now I'm adding a Middleweight title and a Crusierweight title. Mulling over the idea of adding a Six Man title as well.

I'm also rebranding my North American title as the US title which will be defended at every show in the States and having the Canadian title defended at every Canadian show.

I love having fighting champions. But not necessarily as the World champion.

finally got to april 2010 in my swf game after a few restarts and sporadic gameplay.

The Jack Bruce: Man Under Pressure storyline sets the scene and its very easy to continue on from it. But having Jack Bruce turn up demanding a rematch immediately after his 9 month ordeal didnt sit well with me, so I've had him take time off to recover. At first Eric Eisen mocked it for a while, then started claiming he'd ended Bruce's career as his time-off period prolonged into months (still going).

This left Rich Money to demand a rematch, but he quickly became subject of some nasty beatdowns courtesy of the newly formed Supremacy, consisting of Eisen, Enforcer Roberts & Runaway Train, most notably at January PPV when Eisen retained the title against Money.

Enter Christian Faith... running the 'been here too long to tolerate this' line. He cavalried for RMoney during one of the beatdowns, but Money wasnt trusting anyone after what happened with Jack Bruce, although he reluctantly agreed to tag with Faith against Runaway Train & Enforcer Roberts ('The Old Guard') in order to get another rematch against Eisen at the Feb PPV. The faces won on SupremeTV and Money demanded his rematch the following week. However, Eisen suggested Faith had just as much a claim to a title shot and they'll have to fight for it if they want it, putting extra strain on an already fragile alliance. Faith beat Money when referee Ryan Holland signalled that RM tapped out. Next week, Money denied tapping out and suggested Faith screwed him over and could be collaborating with Eisen. CF angrily denied and threw an accusation back at Money, that he was still the same old cheating heel playing the sympathy of the crowd after the Jack Bruce saga.

All was revealed at the PPV when Faith got screwed by the same ref, who was in Eisen's pocket all along, a master stroke by The Supremacist. In the following weeks Faith attempted to apologize to RM, but he was having none of it, enforcing his 'loner' gimmick.

Enter Vengeance... who took offence to Money's "Money Rolls Alone" line, eventually accusing Rich of not having a clue what its like to be 'alone' and shunned by society! Cue an epic fued between the two that I'm currently in the middle of (despite poor chemistry - RichM has bad chemistry with no less than 3 other main eventers).

On the NthAmerican title scene, Joe Sexy eventually won the title on his 3rd attempt after Brandon James had enough of Emma Chase's alleged sympathies for Joe and scrapped their partnership (BJ has since paired with Carl Batch). After the match, it seemed Emma was just about to proclaim her feelings for Joe, when out came Eric Eisen, proposing for her to not only be the lady on his arm but to help him achieve the big plans he had for The Supremacy. After a brief think, she accepted and left the ring without looking at Joe, who copped a solid beatdown for his troubles. By this stage, Remo was a member of The Supremacy too, joining after fueding with a face-turned Angry Gilmore, who has been alligned with Faith. This inevitably led to Remo siding with Eisen & co.

As for Brandon James & Batch, they've moved on to fued with Frehley, after he was on the receiving end of a eager-to-impress Batch interference. While Joe Sexy got over Emma soon enough, announcing there were more fish in the sea and he would reveal his new valet, only for the campy Frederique Antonio Garcia to step out, much to Joe's dismay. FAG had just come off a 3 month fued with the Bumfholes, which began when FAG decided he wanted some Randy Bumfhole.

Tag title holders are Clean N' Classy (Squeeky McClean & Paul Huntingdon). Valient & Giedroyc lost them when their quartet (valets) was torn apart by a vicious unprovoked attack by Marat Kohklov after a match vs Valient, which resulted in Hannah being hospitalised. The other 3 were so distraught, they promptly lost the belts at the March PPV and went their seperate ways. But Valient sought revenge. Beatdown after beatdown, he has refused to be intimidated by the big russian and the fued has achieved what I wanted it to do, bring Valient into the Main Event scene! As The Supremacy get stronger, he'll be a key face against them.

(I fizzled out the in-built Faith v Marat storyline into a constant dislike rather than full blown fued, which Eric Eisen has used to his advantage a few times, getting Marat onside when needed)

One other thing worth mentioning is Big Smack Scott. I quietly phased out Pain Alliance after a failed tag title shot in Jan, bringing him back into the singles fold (Kurt Laramee is tagging with Knuckles now, Shady K was released). I'm booking him kind of like the guitar-wielding, finger-pointing, verbal tirader, WCW version of Jeff Jarrett... minus the guitar! He took offence to the 'stupid man in a stupid crab suit' Lobster Warrior getting a title shot back in Feb and went on to fued with him, almost unmasking the Lobster postmatch, b4 Jungle Lord cavalried to the rescue. He began questioning his lobster identity in the coming weeks, thinking BSS might be right afterall... but Jungle talked him out of it by offering they tag together regularly. The unusual combo (dubbed Out of Habitat) are heading towards challenging Clean N' Classy for the straps.

I'm using the New Power January 2010 data

I've finally got to Wrestlemania 26 after the last 3 weeks I hit a complete mental block with the stroylines and matchups on TV. Anyway my champions are:

WWE Championship: Sheamus. Has held it from the start of my game beating Orton at the Royal Rumble and retaining again at Elimination Chamber. Toyed with the idea of having Cena beat him at Wrestlemania but decided against it in the end.

World Heavyweight Championship: Chris Jericho. Won the title at Wrestlemania after winning the Royal Rumble and choosing Edge, who won the title at Elimination Chamber, as his opponent. Their feud has been going on since July 2009 with Jericho constantly taunting Edge while he was out injured. Will end this feud with a two out of three falls match at Extreme Rules.

ECW Championship: William Regal. Won the title from Christian at Wrestlemania after finally getting his one on one match with Christian. Christian held the title from thew start of my game defending the title against Burchill, Zack Ryder and Ezekial Jackson, as well as a triple threat match between himself, Jackson and Regal. Will now hold an eight man tournament after the draft to find a new number one contender for Regal's title.

Intercontinental Championship: Drew McIntyre. Held the belt from the beginning of my game after feuding but denying John Morrison a shot at the championship. Particiapted in the Money in the Bank match at Wrestlemania. Will now defend against Morrison at Extreme Rules for the IC belt.

US Championship: The Miz. Again has held it for the entirity of my game so far. Has feuded with MVP before granting MVP one last shot at the belt at Elimination Chamber. Came out on top against him and participated in the Money in the Bank match at WM.

Unified Tag Championship: The Legacy. Feuded with DX for the first two months of my game and defeated them for the titles on the Raw following Elimination Chamber following The Undertaker's distraction of Shawn Michaels in revenge for costing 'Taker his title the previous night. Entered a feud with The Hart Dynasty on Smackdown and faced them at Wrestlemania where they came out on top. Will go on to face The Hart Dynasty, Cryme Tyme and The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) at Extreme Rules.

Money in the Bank: Kofi Kingston. Has hit main event level in the past month so had him win the contract at Wrestlemania. Will go into a main event feud with Randy Orton before cashing in the case.

Divas: Trish Stratus. Had her feud with Maryse and win the title at WM.

Womens: Beth Phoenix. Same as the divas, had her feud with Michelle McCool before winning the title at WM.

Notable feuds:

Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker. Stolen from real life. Had Michaels turn up on Smackdown in January to challange 'Taker to a match at Wrestlemania. Taker declined. I had Michaels taunt and attack 'Taker for weeks before he cost him the World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber. 'Taker retaliated by costing DX the Tag Championships and accepted HBK's challange. 'Taker won at WM. All part of my master plan of having Michaels turn on Triple H and have them face at Wrestlemania 27.

John Cena vs Brock Lesnar. Only just begun this one. Sheamus defeated Cena at WM to retain the championship when Lesnar jumps the barrier and lays Cena out following the match. Hoping to have this one go through to at least Summerslam.

ECW Originals (Tommy Dreamer, Rob Van Dam, Tajiri & Sabu) vs The Ring of Greatness (Bryan Danielson, Austin Aries, Eddie Edwards & Roderick Strong). Has been the hot feud on ECW for the past few months when Danielson, Aries, Edwards and Strong laid out Dreamer on ECW. Had Dreamer recruit RVD, Sabu and Tajiri to even the numbers and had them square off at WM. Ring of Greatness won the match and will now release Sabu as I've really no use for him anymore. Hoping to push Danielson and Aries further now as they are already Upper Midcard.

Man, now this is the kind of top-level promotion I wish we could get on TV in real life. This sounds like so much more fun than the assembly line characters in WWE and the jumble TNA has turned into in 2010.

So in my game, I'm getting into July of 2011 and I've started to do something that doesn't happen much in my training games. I've been making a profit. My first one came in April. A little hiccup of 500 some dollars but the big profit so far came in the month just completed. Over 4k worth. Been paring down the payroll a mite in 2011 because lower priced guys were getting over and I didn't need the higher ticket guys anymore. I don't imagine it's anything too much I'm doing. I'm playing pretty much the same as I always do. I'm thinking it's the combination of having all the world's talent available at once in the Queens Of Chaos mod combined with being in a lesser served market in the Northwest US. But the big thing is guys are getting over and learning well. I'm serving my purpose.

My title feud between Bob Casey and Aleksandr Knyazev is coming along well. Knyazev is slightly more over at C to Casey's C-. But both are insanely popular with my crowd and the fans are eating the battle up. The notion is to get the title on Knyazev once this tussle is over. But that will likely still be a while. Right now he's still adapting to working with his new manager, Lisa Bowen.

I'm looking to wind up the Mystery Mask/Kinji Akamatsu war and having it heading for a big cage match. Unlike many corners of the wrestling world, we at IWL still respect the awesome power of the cage match. Akamatsu was at D- over to start the year but has stepped bck to E+ and is holding firm. So I kinda want to freshen his material up after the blow-off. Perhaps even turn him face as he's become an IWL fixture.

The Ex Games are on in IWL as Quick Kick Nakao is finidng his old relationship with Lillian O'Donohue has come back to haunt him. She's charmed her way into Donte Dunn's good graces and is trying to use Dunn as a weapon against Nakao.Just finished the first story line of the arc and I'm currenly looking for someone new for her to try to seduce into joining her and Donte on the dark side. Possibly leaning to Dunn's sometime tag partner Zach Inkling as he's just finished a storyline with Klaus Blut.

And I'm looking for a big man. A monster who can shred through the IWL roster and perhaps be used for an Andre The Giant/Big John Studd slam match confrontation with Bob Shrunkle. Who would end up turning face for the feud as he's the company fixture

Woody Cudelli got dropped by contract expiration at the end of March as his pay outstripped the material I had for him. As have Eliza Buckley and La Criatura Roja with Ozzie Monday leaving at the end of the currently week. In Buckley's place, I tried Lisa Bowen before hiring Scott Hickey. Not totally thirlled having to "settle" for a male color commentator But he's been alright and less trouble than Buckley was. The manager girls, Bowen and O'Donohue were brought in on half of Cudelli's dime. Also coming in have been Stretch the Chicken Boy, Valentine and Ben Williams. The latter two both playing Ambiguously Gay face gimmicks as my current venue is a gay club. May change that once I'm comfortable I can step up to the next size venue though. Call it taking advantage of what the venue offers. And Valentine may not go beyond this one contract. He's picked up some Chronic Lower Back Pain which affects his performances. My talent's working on just being presentable. Carrying a guy through a nagging injury is a more advanced skill than what my company is teaching. Heck, let someone who asks less than his $300 a show catch my eye before his contract expires, Valentine might not even last the whole thing. Ben's gotten better momentum with the gimmick/alignment combo anyway.

Guest codey
Picked Dusty Bin up in my diary game. He's sitting in development right now, so if my dairy game manages to reach around a year a half, you may just see a new jobber show his face in TCW.

May 1999 and building up to my annual "Big" PPV, Wrestlefest 2. The card is shaping up nicely too...

NWA Heavyweight/ECW Heavyweight Title Match

I Quit Match

Ric Flair v Jeff Jarrett ©

This is the culmination of a near year long story sytarted when Flair cheated to win the NWA Title in a four way match comprising all of the Four Horseman. Morley and Hennig saw it as fair play but Jarrett, who incidentally was the one who was pinned, took offense. He left the group and set about exacting vengeance on Flair, costing him the title and winning it himself when he alligned with Ted DiBiase's group.

NWA North American Title Match

Kurt Angle v The Giant

The Giant has been a dominating force since entering WWA, winning the North American Title in his debut match against Conscience. This match came about after Angle made The Giant submit in a tag match. The Giant, enraged at being made to look a fool, cost Angle his Unified Television Titles to Chyna in retaliation which led, in turn, to the Olympic Hero pursuing and earning a shot at The Giant's gold.

5v5 Gang Rules Match

Triple H, A-Train, Justin Credible, Chyna, Scott Norton v Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, Taz, The Dudley Boys

This war has been ongoing between both factions since ECW "invaded" (were bought out by) WWA some months previous. Both sides have cost each other numerous titles and title shots and so RVD and HHH feel it best to settle things once and for all.

NWA Tag Team Title Match

The Thrillseekers v Hennig & Morley v The Shooters ©

Finlay and Regal became unified champs after defeating Ahmed Johnson & D'Lo and the Dudley Boys in a three way match to win both their respective titles.

WWA OMEGA No Limits Title Match

Darren Drozdov v Jeff Hardy v Matt Hardy v Sean Waltman v D'Lo Brown v Sabu ©

Sabu issued an open invite to all previous holders of the title in order to steal the show at Wrestlefest. All have accepted.

WWA Cruiserweight Title Match

Super Crazy v Christopher Daniels ©

WWA National Title Match

Osamu Nishinmura v The Patriot ©

The Patriot is Jerry Lynn btw...

Bam Bam Bigelow v Raven

WWA Women's Title

Mariko Yoshida v Takako Inoue v Toshie Uematsu v Tina McFly v Amy Dumas v Nora Greenwald ©

Tina McFly is a randomly generated worker.

I am using the real world mod, and am what I figure should be one show away from taking my created fed from local to small size. I am based in the South West, and thus use primarily SoCal wrestlers, many of which I had to add to the database.

Davey Richards became the first 3XW Champion overcoming Paul London, Joey Ryan and El Generico in the Championship Series over a span of 3 events, only to lose the championship in his second defense (because he would not resign) to Johnny Goodtime, who had won a Breakout Attempt four way earlier in the night to earn the title shot. Since then Goodtime has successfully made defenses against Joey Ryan and Scott Lost, with a rivalry with Kaos in the plans.

The 3XW Tag Team Championships have changed hands three times already in the less than one year that 3XW has been going. Inaugural champions The Cutler Brothers and second champs Los Luchas both lost them in their first defenses, but the 3rd set of champions of Paul London and El Generico are off to a better start with 3 defenses already under their belt, with a big defense against The Young Bucks scheduled for next month.

Need to update alot on this game, as it's been a few months of game time (heck, 1978 just started!) since I last did so...

But in APWF?

Just held my first A rated show.

Probably could've got higher, but the A rated main event suffered from crowd burnout... looking it over, my entire roster is incredibly over considering I'm "Regional" (though pressing HARD to get to Cult before I have to let folks go).

Still, I'm proud.

Just booked RAW last night following my Over the Limits PPV event. Following on from my post a few pages back my final card for Over the Limit was.....

Last Man Standing

John Cena vs. Batista

World Heavyweight Championship

1st Ever Over the Limit, Over and Out Match

Chris Jericho © vs. Edge

Intercontinental championship

Christian © vs. Shane McMahon w/. WWE champion Randy Orton and Stephanie McMahon

Lay-Cool vs. Talia V. Sky and Lauren Love

Million Dollar Championship

Ted Dibiase © w/. R-Truth and Virgil vs. Kane

If Mysterio loses he MUST join the SES, If Punk loses he gets shaved bald

CM Punk w/. The SES vs. Rey Mysterio

Sheamus vs. The Big Show

Evan Bourne vs. William Regal

_______________

Results John Cena defeated Batista in the Last Man Standing match after he did the FU off the entrance ramp to the ground below. Batista is now finished with the company.

I also had CM Punk defeat Rey Mysterio. Now Mysterio is a part of the SES.

In other results I had Talia V. Sky and Lauren Love - formerly the beautiful people in TNA - defeat team Lay-cool. Evan Bourne also defeated William Regal, plus Sheamus defeated the Big Show and left him a bloody mess after the match. The Big Show is now on a break from WWE. Ted Dibiase also defeated Kane to regain his Million Dollar Championship after Virgil and R-Truth helped Dibiase.

In the "Over the Limit, Over and Out match" where the stipluation was that Edge must beat Jericho within 15 minutes, however, if the match carries on for over 15 minutes and Jericho manages to pin Edge, then Edge is fired, If Jericho pins Edge wiithin the 15 minutes Edge will lose the match but keep his job. In this match Edge won the World Championship when he defeated Chris Jericho 30 seconds before the initial 15 minutes was up. Later in the night Teddy Long suspended Chris Jericho for his recent harsh comments as of late which could be deemed as racist. Jericho didn't take to kindly to this and slapped Long around the face before then spitting on his Martin Luther King picture on the wall.

In the other big match of the evening Christian regained his Intercontinental championship over Shane McMahon in a match which saw Shane jump from the top ring turnbuckle to the outside through the announcers table. After the match Christian teased whether or not he would cash in his Money in the Bank on WWE champion Randy Orton who was at ringside, however, Christian instead headed to the back as Orton and Stephanie checked on Shane.

________________________________________________

The next night on RAW Mr. McMahon called time on the recent 'Guest Host' tradition and announced RAW's new General Manager "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. McMahon also called an end to the WWE Draft system as we know it. McMahon announced that from here on in WWE superstars will be individually valued, and during certain periods of the year can be put up for sale by there General Manager. McMahon promised more on this in the coming weeks, and that both WWE Raw and Smackdown brands would be changed forever.

Quick updates as I continue on with my WWE game. I'm currently moving towards my next pay-per-view, which was supposed to be Fatal 4-Way but I changed it's name back to King of the Ring. Mr. McMahon announced this news along with a big announcement concerning the new transfer system which will be replacing the current draft system. Drafts can still take place but only if the General Manager feels the draft-swap in question it's worth the money, the draft itself along with some extra money may need to be put in place in order for a deal to go through. McMahon also announced that between 1st June-August 31st every year any transfers could be made, McMahon then stated that a special transfer window would open for the month of November every year as well to allow brands to build towards WrestleMania.

So far my King of the Ring main event features Randy Orton defending his WWE championship against John Cena. Throughout the build to this match current Intercontinental champion, and Money in the Bank holder, Christain has been playing mind games with Orton suggesting he may wait until the conclusion of the match to see if Orton is still champion, and then cash the briefcase in. Stephanie McMahon and Randy Orton are still set to get married as the McMahon-Orton Era continues.

I've been doing a storyline where RAW GM "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and Smackdown GM Teddy Long have brought in WWE workers from the WWE financial offices to evaluate their talent and help determine their value. Dolph Ziggler was annoyed when he was valued under a million dollars and decided to complain to Teddy Long.

With the transfer system in place Teddy Long announced that he was putting Chris Jericho up for sale after suspending him for racism recently. Yeah, i'm carrying on my "Is Jericho Racist?" gimmick. Following the announcement that Teddy Long has put Jericho up for sale, Jericho made an appearance on RAW that week after his suspension was over. Jericho was granted time on RAW thanks to GM Dusty Rhodes. While on RAW Jericho claimed that Teddy Long was a racist for putting him up for sale for no reason when clearly he is the best wrestler in the world today. Jericho then challenged Teddy to a match at King of the Ring. Jericho also announced he would be on Smackdown that week to compete in his first round qualifying King of the Ring match, and claimed he would win the King of the Ring and beat Teddy's racist black ass too all in the same night at King of the Ring.

Jericho appeared on Smackdown later that week defeating Dolph Ziggler in a first round qualifying King of the Ring. Jericho also debuted a new manager/sidekick with him, a black guy named Sammie who before the match Jericho cut a promo about claiming he hand picked Sammie from the slums of New Orleans and gave him a job cutting his grass on the weekends, and walking with him to the ring on weekdays.

Actually, they're the two that got the A rated match! :D

For the most part, not, not TOO many surprises. That said, there are still a few. Trent Peak has worked his way up the card nicely, and is currently the reigning Tri-State champion and has ROCKETED in popularity from C- to B in the Tri-State region in just under one month. Luis Montero is doing nicely as well, but... he's Luis Montero. You'd have to be a terrible booker for him to not start getting over. Admittingly I'm leaving him the midcard for a bit, partially because I'm worried about SWF snatching him up. They've already hit me a couple times...

Oh, and I brought in Burt Selleck AGES ago, and naturally I've pushed Sam Stragavelli to the top, and they frequently headline shows as well. The rest of the Main Event and Upper Midcard is mostly the same people (though Fran has fallen to UM), and Babyface Dave was slapped down to midcard while I pushed Giant Grimsley up to Upper Midcarder.

That said, I'm eagerly awaiting an opportunity to push the Boriken Love Machine to the moon. No matter who he faces, he pulls at least a C match out of them (as he's a freakin' opener!) I've considered teaming him with Luis Montero on a permanent basis, as I can only imagine matches between them and the Black Serpent Cult in a well structured feud could only be nothing short of amazing.

Started booking HWA in the (awesome) 1977 C-Verse mod. First time I've planned on having a proper go at it with them.

Just had my first show in charge, HWA Chronic. It was a good night for the Krooked Empire as Constable Bill and Lucky Jiggles picked up the tag belts, and Krooked Kop Kyle won the vacant King of New York title after beating Mr. G following interference from Bill and Jiggles. Elsewhere; 'White Chocolate' Debbie Dallas won the Krooked biKini Kontest (hosted and judged by Kyle), and The Rainbow Warrior defeated the debuting Damon Carruthers.

In my SHIMMER game, I have imported some peeps from the C-Verse and it has been quite something.

Tommy Cornell has signed with WWE.

*Acts surprised*

This will be interesting to see.

Oh and my latest SHIMMER Volume got a 64/C. Which I think is pretty good considering I've never booked a female's promotion, yet alone more than 2 female matches.
