I'm wondering if any writer on here would take a look and give me some feedback on something I've been working on for a few days, it's fairly long but I'm just looking for what anyone thinks about first the concept and then the first bits I've been writing. It's early yet but I'm liking it so far and would like to get a 2nd opinion <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> It's CVerse

Right, so I'm juggling around an insane number of ideas for dynasties, and keep half-starting to prepare for them and then skipping to a new idea. Hopefully having some people on here say "that's crap, forget it" or "actually I kinda like that one" will help focus my mind a bit...

The main one is an idea I've been banding around for a while...

TCW's money worries finally get the better of Tommy Cornell, and he causes himself harm in some way (an overdose is the obvious thing. Something that could've killed him, but didn't. He is however forced to take an extensive hiatus from the wrestling industry). Without him on-screen, and following the negative press associated with it's biggest star nearly topping himself, TCW tanks to mid-Cult, loses it's TV deal followed by many of it's top names and almost goes bankrupt entirely.

That's when a new syndicate of investors - headed by my user character (haven't quite decided yet between a new character with or without a close personal connection to Cornell... maybe even Jennifer, or Wolf Hawkins) and also including Joel Bryant, Wolf Hawkins, Sam Keith and some silent partners - step in to save the company. They get a new, much smaller one-hour TV deal (probably on the Pop! Network or something), and the dynasty (and edited database) begins in late 2011 as a much more low-key, RoH style TCW begins it's resurgence. It's a strange new world, where USPW with Rocky Golden as their champion flirt with National popularity, and the new TCW, with questions over how long Tommy will be out for - if he returns at all - are a distant third. Can the new generation of TCW stars reach, and maybe exceed, the heights of the old?

I think that would be REALLY cool. :) Would be very interesting to see who'd left TCW and where they'd gone; I take it a fair few would end up in USPW to push them to the edge of National (as well as Golden, that is.)

Okay, time for a question. Now I've said I'm probably out of the diary game for awhile and that is still the case. However, I am putting together a project on another site which will be very similar to my WCW "overview" project. I am considering re-posting it here again, but there is a catch. The catch is that its a full-fantasy project - not based on a game mod as the previous one was. There are reasons, but that's what it comes down to. So would it still be cool to post it in here or not?

<p>I'd say post it, but I strongly believe it should be in the "Special Dynasty" folder, as this forum should only be for games run in TEW 2010, no matter who is writing it. There have been exceptions to this, sure, but I don't think that's right.</p><p> </p><p>

But as we've established before, I am the only person that thinks this <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

You might not get the numbers you are used to but I think my diary averages about twenty to thirty readers per post and my diary has nothing to do with wrestling or sports at all. Simply put, I think you have the name credibility to make people check the Special Dynasty forum. When weirdo_man did his diary down there, I followed it religiously. Just announce its launch here and maybe ask people to subscribe to the thread to keep up to date.</p>

<p>Feedback appreciated, folks. Given the responses and the fact that I'm really not comfortable putting a non-TEW project in the TEW diary forum, I think the Special Dynasties section would be the best bet. And thanks to BHK for giving me some reassurance about that section. I guess the fact that I've rarely gone down there had me worried. I might use this thread to pimp it a bit, which I hope folks don't mind...</p><p> </p><p>

I have actually done quite a bit of writing ahead of time. I still want to try to slap together some of my crap-tastic graphic attempts and I have a trip to Vegas coming up soon, so probably get things rolling in the next week or two.</p>
