Damn! Grant out for the season. We're gonna need to bring someone in to share the carries with Brandon Jackson or else we'll have a non existent running game all season. Really not sure who's available though and I can't see us trying to trade for anybody.

I do a survivor thing I picked Detroit as a week 1 oh there gonna win thing. I so should still be in it.

My Titans dominated... it was against the Raiders though. I was pretty pumped to see inVINCEable and CJ combined for over 300 yards of offense and 4 TDs (2 each). Anybody see the highlight of the first option play we ran in the first quarter? We won't run it a bunch, but teams are going to have to be on their heels for it every week. Screw the *****(wild)cat formation. SPEED OPTION TIME.

Slaton cant go anywhere! If, God forbid, something happens to Foster, Slatons our only hope for a semi-functional running game. He was pretty sharp in relief duty this week...

 

Colts are in for a rough year if they cant fix their run d problem. In theory, Foster again, two against MJD and two against CJ left. ANd thats without looking outside their divisional schedule.

 

Kubiak is right, time for someone else to win the AFC South!

So are the big questions with teams now voting to decertify the union

 

If the NFL and it's players go into a lock-out will Football have a bigger backlash then Baseball and Hockey with the current economy the way it is?

 

Will people just forgive and forget with blackouts continuing (Chargers will be blacked out this week and they are a winning football team) and owners and NFL really doing nothing to keep teams on TV with the struggling economy?

So not only are you shutting down their run game, but your going to stop a pass game that us very talented itself and you offense which barely beat Dallas is going to torch their D as well?

 

I know petyon's numbers looked good, but go watch the game. colts had no run game and played behind most of the game so they had to throw. The Texans d got to manning a bunch

 

Sorry dude not to be mean I just don't see the skins beating thh Texans and defiently not by 28 points

You don't have to see but it's going to happen the O is still getting everything going and the D looked good aganist dallas btw no one was giving us a chance in that game weregoing to start turning heads and show how real and talented this team really is I think Mcnabb Moss is going to be a great combo.

Your offense hasnt scored one touchdown, now its going to put up 5? No way. Your WRs are horrible, like...would be worst in the NFL if the Rams didnt exist, and the RBs are old and broken.

 

Texans have zero excuse to lose this one.

Actually I was. I picked Washington to beat Cowboys in my GDS pickem. I like what the Skins have put together, but there is to much to be fixed in one week. Will you guys make the playoffs this year....... honestly..... yeah. You have the best QB in the divison and a Defense that should do well. That division isn't what it was a couple of years ago and is the right pickin for a team that has talent.

 

I just think the Texans are one of the top teams in the NFL and are starting to finally put it all together. They have a talented D with a very talent D-Line and Linebackers. The secondary lost Robison, but I think Jackson is going to do a pretty good job for them. That offense has been talented for years now and with a running back who seems to be putting it together they could be the best in football.

 

Once again it's not a knock on your team or talent it's more of I don't think your team has the Texans number this week.

This is going to surprise anyone that knows me. Yoou are wrong.

Wow. Just.... wow...

 

With what offense? Miles Austin is Andre Johnson-lite and he torched the Skins secondary. Only reason the Texans didn't shred the Colt through the air is because they didn't have to try. You're right, Foster will probably not put up crazy numbers this week against Washington... but I just don't see how their secondary can hope to stop the Texans passing attack and I don't think McNabb has enough talented targets to keep pace.

 

If the Redskins win, it'll be a very close game. The idea of them blowing out the Texans seems incredibly unrealistic.
