I liked it, and I know how nice it can be when something you see in your head and write about goes over as well as you have seen it. As for your presentation: yes. It is a progression. So far, I like it very much. The match descriptions are short yet very vivid. The "interviews" are also short, and yet show who these people are wonderfully. And Yuu's post-its are marvelously funny and touching. I think you are doing very well. And I'm sure that will continue. As for your writing and planning style, I am similar. I "like to be natural waves" as well. Unlike many, I really don't keep detailed notes of everything planned for many shows. Yes, I have made plans. And yes, I have jotted notes, but like Yuu in your story, they are my post-its so I don't forget them. But mostly, the story is all in my head. I write from my heart. And my dreams. And from those imaginary people who live in my heart and dreams, who whisper to me, and tell me where to take them. So I go there. And I simply write down what I see. As for the logs. I, too, have experience with them. They will go away. It happens many, many times. And then what? The lightning comes. So take your time, and do not hurry for us. We will be here, waiting for you. It was the outskirts of Osaka in a used park kept cool by industrial shadows. Even in the growing Spring, a new, light sweater was wrapped around her shoulders. Three pigeons had lost interest in her lack of food and had gone back to honest work as Yuu flicked the metal ring of a half full coffee can. They toy of an absent mind.* "It really is Spring." *Delayed seasonal observations, ask any head booker about the weather... they would not know anything in particular. She wondered is she was the only one, of course you could never ask a booker anything. They were lost behind the scenes or sitting on a bench in an empty park just trying to catch up with the very basic realities.* *Her mobile phone rang several times. The only problem being it was back at her apartment... one of the few sins in Japan. But several years ago, Yuu had accidentally forgotten her phone and discovered, quite by accident as well, that she actually liked being out at any particular moment. She never looked back, even where the people connected to her looked at her with confusion. 'Yuu, it's 2010. No one is out anymore.' But Yuu would just smile and nod, showing that she understood completely what they were saying.* *Little leaves. Little flowers. Little visions, if she closed her eyes just enough then Osaka would disappear and she would be in a park with vague edges. It was better that way. She had no love for Osaka. She no love its rough shell and jagged noises from cog souls. But it was alive and Yuu just had to deal with that. Voices entered the park, perhaps two or three as Yuu kept her head and eyes narrowed... down for the passing.* *They would be staying in the region for the rest of the tour to secure their collective footings, holds and gains. It was a wise move on the Lizard Queen's part, but she had always been very wise and cold in her business dealings. What the Lizard Queen was missing was what Yuu possessed... what that exactly was, not even Yuu had named it yet. But she knew she was a commodity in the Lizard Queen's scheme of her things.* "I am like seaweed." *A very useful, lively thing indeed. But only in the sea. I'd pick DEVIL for the four way, but unless you are planning another DEVIL-Yuma main show, its time to build the next challenger, and Nakadan has stuck out the most of the 3 others there. Also, she needs a chance at redemption after last week... Huntress Makiko v Yori Toyoshima I am simply a mark for the Huntress. But with Yori doing so well last week, she deserves to be kept on a roll. Chiyeko Kita v Otsune Tsumura Kita is being made to look the seasoned professional. A win would continue that. Ginko Kuroda v Kiko Sakakibara I am a mark for Kuroda as well; may be why I also feel she is the better wrestler of the two. All Business v Ultimate Devastator Lemons The Lemons need a win to maintain what momentum they got for their title win - too soon a defeat may take away too much. Dragon Assassin v Etsuko Arihyoshi v Gemmei Oonishi v Ikuko Temko Dragon is looking too dangerous. A loss would heighten suspense over her future. But who would win instead? Very hard for me to pick... Temko. Chitose Ariwara v Fuyuko Higa Higa needs more training in humility... DEVIL Karube v Megumi Nakajima v Saori Nakadan v Shiori Jippensha So soon after her championship victory, would be a shame to see her defeated now. Angel Takudome v Umeko Hotta I think Angel is still a young lion, and Hotta needs a win to stay credible Huntress Makiko v Yori Toyoshima Gogogo Huntress! Chiyeko Kita v Otsune Tsumura I spy a joshi rivalry with some of the other younger players. Ginko Kuroda v Kiko Sakakibara Ginko hasn't been doing well. All Business v Ultimate Devastator Lemons I will mark for these two forever. Dragon Assassin v Etsuko Arihyoshi v Gemmei Oonishi v Ikuko Temko She's the Assassin. Though one wonders how much longer she can be kept out of the main event scene. Chitose Ariwara v Fuyuko Higa Higa keeps going. Ariwara is not the one to stop her. I like the addition of angles and talking. It gave me more of a deepness feeling. The Higa match was tricky to you, yes? She did not complain. But she has no happy place. It hit in her nauseating waves as she pushed the large warehouse style doors open on the 5SSW dojo and walked inside. To the naked eye of the uninvolved, it would appear not a thing had changed. But to the more sensitive eyes of Yuu, the colors seemed garish and askew as she turned towards the office... voices were at least muffled. She had missed to wall of the storm as she walked inside and closed the door behind here.* *The first face she saw was Sensational Ogiwara, standing as if she were the last tree after a typhoon... unaware, unphased and strong. She looked directly at Yuu... and it was Yuu who looked away as a flash of heat washed over her face. But Yuu was no warrior, her life was not of adversity... she did not know what to do with it all. She passed by Kit, who looked like she was sea sick and spent. Yuu did not find her eyes either as she sat down at her desk across from the Lizard Queen, Kagawa-san. Her eyes, she did meet and they were very much alive and now locked on Yuu. She could feel everyone looking at her... she was in the middle having done nothing at all. She shifted uncomfortably in her chair, but managed to keep her eyes on Kagawa-san and convey the simple message, 'What do you want from me? It was only then that Kagawa fell back in her chair, just as equally spent as anyone else had been. She took off her glasses, and pinched the bridge of her nose with her fingers... eyes closed.* "What do you want to do, Yuu?" *Yuu's face wrinkled in slight confusion. She did not have the whole story. So I repeat myself, what do you want to do?" *Yuu sat in silence for a minute and then two... the sounds of the room amplified to an annoying degree.* "I can not answer, until I know... why is Ogiwara-san here and now?" *Again Kagawa-san kept her eyes close as she responded.* "Ogiwara is here because Ogiwara thinks she can do both. She thinks it is not a problem, which of course is insane and speaks to every wrestler's ego. Her contract with us and them is PPA. She is contractually..." "a traitor and a manipulator." *Yuu said quite flatly before continuing.* "She is also still the soul of breath in this company. We cannot do the changing of that face, yes? She is an incredible mind of wrestling and" "And she wants your job, Yuu." *The silence came back, as the heat washed her face again. Her eyes had dried to seeds... dark lines circled to protect as Yuu considered her next words carefully.* "You would be foolish not to consider it." *Kagawa-san opened her eyes on Yuu.* "I did just that, Yuu. Do not make me give you the right hand speech again. I just did it 5 minutes ago and I've done all the reassuring of you that I care to today. What. Do. You. Want. To. Do?" *Crawl back into bed and hide came to mind. Crawl back to the station and live again, also did. But instead, Yuu answered the question as best she could.* "Keep her, and replace her at the same time... as we grow... we make her choose or we do choose. It does not matter which side does the choice as long as it is made, yes? Then we move again, the same can be said for Kit... it should be I think." *Kagawa-san studied Yuu, her quirky right hand who had her own ice river running near her heart in Spring.* "I don't think she knew anything about it, Yuu. She's your friend." "Yes, I think so too Kagawa-san. But you cannot think that way... only I can. If I am the fool it costs me... if you are the fool for me? It costs everyone here. It is too much to pay." *Kagawa-san shook her head for belief before putting her glasses back on. It had been a very, very trying day. Her voice shifted to cutting ice again as she stated a simple fact.* "I plan to make life as difficult as I can for Exodus 2010." *Yuu was tired too, if not more so. While she could be zero emotion, it was simply because everything just shut down in self defense. She forced a knowing smile back to the woman she both knew too well and not at all.* "That is a given, Kagawa-san. It may be the only good to come from this." *So it was decided to let Ogiwara-san continue on in her role as road agent while she filled her desire to book at Exodus 2010. Yuu would begin to search for a third road agent in the name of "growth" while Kagawa-san would keep her eyes open for any small way to hurt Exodus 2010. It seems to have been forgotten just how ruthless the Lizard Queen could be when prompted. Ogiwara-san had won without saying a single word, leaving Yuu more isolated than was usual... though the difference between the two was hard to measure... small. Many of the workers were exactly the same as Ogiwara. They held the same contracts and they would work for as many companies as would have them... it was called living. Then there was the fact that Sensational Ogiwara was a National legend of Joshi Puroresu... that list was very small indeed. She was a Goddess... it was plain and it was simple... that was what Yuu was in comparison.*</p><p> </p><p> *Less than a handful sided with Yuu... but they were some strong names who had been around long enough to see Yuu work every little job there was to be done... she worked their contracts over noodles... always listened carefully to each word... and always paid the bill if a deal was made or not. 'The Magic Three' had made the Golden Age of Joshi... but as it fell and crumbled, it was Yuu who scrambled to put something in its place as best she could: Saori Nakadan, DEVIL Karube and Umeko Hotta had all made their choices clear... Ogiwara-san may not have been wrong to do what she did... but the way which she had chosen? They would have none of that.*</p><p> </p><p> *That left Kit to pick-up the poster from the center of the ring... still unable to communicate with her friend Yuu...
