<p>The latest TUF announcement got me excited. I planned to do this thing in WMMA but UFC beat me to it. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

As for the event itself: how daring they put Holm vs Pennington in the co-main event. I guess that's what a subscription-based service will do with a company. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Ellenberger vs Koscheck had way more appeal.</p><p> </p><p>

As for the main event: I was really looking forward to it as I've been following Cat for a while now (from years ago), but it wasn't meant to be. Or maybe it was, but she couldn't control her and just jumped in like r2 in the Tate fight. I honestly believed she was going to do it, but now he have a still largely untested Rousey who is yet to be hit multiple times in the face. But Holm is not ready for her now. It's going to be a dark year for the division.</p>

I don't know, i don't like both <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> They must hype Holm for sure, so Co main event.</p><p> </p><p> But Holm has nothing.. It's easy to knock out rookie on the regional circuit, it's an other thing to knock out the best. She will lose to Miesha tate, to Sara Mcmann, to Zingano.</p>

Woohoo! Gustafsson vs. Teixeira here in Berlin. That's a great fight and probably one of the biggest fights you could have made for a Fight Pass card in Germany.

Considering how the card for the Poland event looks like, I had deep fears for Berlin. Hopefully they add a couple more interesting fights, but seeing Gus fight already sells it for me.

The Poland guys don't care about name value. But there's Crocop involved so I'm sure it'll sell out one way or another. There was also a Polish woman who was doing well, but that might've been in Invicta.

That Polish woman, it's not Joanna ? :p

TBE, they should put her on the card for a show in Poland/Germany (I don't know if the german like the polish ?)

It's not like the Strawweight title is "big"

I don't care too much about an over-the-hill Crocop. I'm interested in the fight, but not enough that I'd have bought a ticket for the Krakow event.

As for a strawweight title fight: I had hoped they would put it on the Berlin card: Joanna vs. Calderwood or Gadelha would have made sense and it would have been perfect timing, too. Both Gadelha and Calderwood fight in April and should win their respective fights if everything goes as expected. Then a quick turnaround for one of them to fight in June and there we go.

But on the other hand, I'm not sure if the event would sell that well with a female main event, even if it's for the title. Germans like heavy guys throwing bombs at each other.

Dear God, it's actually happening! Rousey vs Mayweather set in november. Omg!
Sorry, that's bullshit. Rousey will actually fight Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship at Summerslam.

Maybe they took a risk with the matchmaking, but I'm sure everyone in the arena got their money's worth after that one. What an brutal KO (not that Gonzaga was defending well).

And what a disappointment for Jo-Jo. Is there actually someone from the TUF women who's doing well?

Apparently CroCop is also 6-0 in rematches. Is that good gameplanning skills or just smart matchmaking? :p

Second choice.

First match : Fujita. Well.. do we need and explanation to this ?

Second match : Wanderlei Silva. That was in special rules, and for a lot of people (me inclured) Wanderlei murdered Cro cop (with zero experience).

Rematch ? Cro cop was using kicks, and boum head kick. He was MUCH LARGER, and with experience this time. Let's not forget that Wanderlei has takedown Cro cop in the first match lol.

Third match : Kevin Randleman. Cro cop was leading, and boum left cross it's over. this is what i call a lucky punch.

Rematch ? done in under 50 sec. Cro cop took no risk this time, he knows the power of Randleman.

Fourth match : Gabriel Gonzaga. If i recall, Gonzaga was tipped as the "next legend" in UFC HW before getting attached to the cage by Couture. Cro cop was confiant, left kick in preparation, and BOUM. fight over

Rematch ? : Cro cop know that Gonzaga has a weak cardio. He let Gonzaga run out of gas.. and bam elbow of death

There also the two win over Josh Barnett. But it's really the only occurence where i call it a real win

Bellator 136 had a Von Flue choke. The best thing is that the ref was oblivious to it. The fighter basically had to call him and communicate that he was out, and it took a while before he confirmed it. Gods... What do they expect? That they beat an unconscious man to shreds?

Just.. Wow. it was the last thing to expect for Machida vs Rockhold..

Yea. I was sure Rockhold would just be a worse version of Weidman but he actually proved me very wrong. Great ground control and good GnP. Machida seemed to be completely out of it in the second so no surprise it ended there! Weidman will still blast through Rockhold. Maybe it's time for Lyoto to start the true later part of his career and look for good fights and forget the title picture. Shame really.
