TommyDreamerFan
Remember when he was in a giant box as a present to the undertaker for no reason? and then Taker kicked the crap out of him? His talent was wasted post-alliance era "Who's better then Kanyon?" RIP Chris Kanyon This. Alliance MVP.
Eisen-verse
As an avid wrestling fan in the 90's, Kanyon was the epitome of innovation. Why? Because you could tell that he worked his butt off to develop new wrestling maneuvers; ultimately showing a dedication to his craft. I always thought he should have been part of the original ECW as his wrestling style would have been LOVED by those kind of crowds; people searching for something new. It's sad to see him go. He was a great visionary between the ropes.
Hyde Hill
RIP Kanyon the innovator of offence and nobody better. I already liked him as Mortis as I saw the talent and once he was gone from under there you could just see that he could be great. Again what a waste. Slagaholic
RIP Chris Kanyon. What's up with all of the wrestler deaths lately? You can say this at any time or any day for the last 25 years.
BHK1978
You can say this at any time or any day for the last 25 years. Sadly so, it is just the lifestyle that they all live. Being on the road so much, not being able to take time off to heal, being away from their family so much, there are just a lot of factors.
Antithesis
I remember there was a stretch of a couple of months where Kanyon would wrestle and nearly every week you'd see him try a new move that, I at least, had never seen before. His 'Positively Kanyon' character was one of the few bright spots in a moribund WCW. His Kanyon Kutter on a security guard in a parking lot is to this day one of the funniest things I've seen in wrestling. Should of been a major star. R.I.P. fatallylost
Great Khali manages to do it. I thought he was a zombie. Damn, wrong again! Sadly so, it is just the lifestyle that they all live. Being on the road so much, not being able to take time off to heal, being away from their family so much, there are just a lot of factors. I think you also have to take into consideration that a lot of the guys have to have something... whether it's a drive, a glutton for punishment, something "wrong" to be able to deal with some of the things that come your way. Huntman
I always loved Chris. He deserved so much better. Towards his last years in WWE, mostly on Velocity, he destroyed. I believe he went undefeated during his last run.

MrOnu
Damn, that's a sad news. RIP Chris Kanyon. I guess his inner demons finally won the war. If I recall correctly, a couple years after his WWE days, he publicly acknowledged suffering from a severe case of bipolarity disorder.
tristram
Holy smokes, I am extremely sad to hear this. I booked DOWCW around the dude, I just loved his character and his work in the ring. No matter what, I was a huge fan and I had so much fun bringing Chris Kanyon forward. Loved him as Mortis, loved him even in the Jersey Shore Triad, even loved him as Champagne, but man... when he became DDK, and you'd have random drive by Kanyon Kutters everywhere, that dude went to the next level (except, in the bookers eyes). Kanyon bro, there was a reason I booked you the way I did. Because, as you said, 'Who better dan Kanyon'? Because of your constant renewal of a staid WCW roster with constant innovation, the answer truly was 'Nobody'. God bless, and bro, thanks for the memories. I am, was and always will be a fan and today I am just ... well, devastated to hear this news.
