The Celt
<p>Only found out about it recently but I have to say it's like the best show I've ever watched. Incredibly funny in the vein of early Scrubs and intelligent similarly to Daria. </p><p> </p><p> It's totally crushing that it only got 1 season (due to India kicking up a slight fuss over how awesome Gandhi's clone in it is) but I'm happy that at least that one season made it to light. </p><p> </p><p> If you've never seen I highly suggest googling it (perhaps with the words watch online following it...) because I'd recommend it to anyone. The first 5 minutes of the 1st episode had me roped for life so what harm could it do? Go for it <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
Nedew
The premise alone is amazing enough - i'll have a butchers.
Sons of Kohral
SAAAAAAAY WHAAAAAAAAAT!?!??!?! Gandhi lol. I loved this show. I was so pissed off when there wasn't a second season.
The Celt
Gandhi is absolutely legendary in Clone High. The guy is the prefect "bro" sidekick type character. If I was ever hittin the town up, I'd definitely want Gandhi by my side. You have to hand it to him, he's a quick thinker
shamelessposer
It's totally crushing that it only got 1 season (due to India kicking up a slight fuss over how awesome Gandhi's clone in it is) but I'm happy that at least that one season made it to light. Nah, dude. The real reason the show didn't get renewed was low ratings. That's an even bigger tragedy in my eyes, because it means the MTV audience would rather watch rich teenagers on their birthday than a show that has an Abe Lincoln/Joan of Arc pairing. The Celt
Yeah, unfortunately that's part of the problem because Clone High came out just before Adult Swim really took off, however the creators said they felt it was because of the pressure from India that MTV (who also operate there) felt. Apparently random people were going on Hunger strikes about Gandhi from just going on what they'd heard. MTV just didn't need that kind of heat. This damn cruel world. I mean, it went out on such a cliffhanger it almost demands more shows to be made; I NEED to know what happened next!
Moe Hunter
I have to get Clone High! I just got The Oblongs and Home Movies, I'd forgotten about this one!
BurningHamster
Yeah I love this show. It never aired down under as far as I know but a friend in the US tipped me off. It does the whole teen drama schtick so well but with such a weird premise. Wish there were more shows like this.

Isn't that one of the SKY Channels we get direct from Aus? I'm sure I remember all the "this show at 11" or whatever was hours out of sync with NZ time. Jennie Bomb
Only found out about it recently but I have to say it's like the best show I've ever watched. Incredibly funny in the vein of early Scrubs and intelligent similarly to Daria. I'm not surprised you mentioned Scrubs considering it was produced by the same guy and a bunch of people from Scrubs provided guest voices. Plus, Cleo is voiced by Jordan and the Janitor is voiced by The Janitor.
shamelessposer
Plus, Cleo is voiced by Jordan and the Janitor is voiced by The Janitor. The truck driver who helps Gandhi prepare for his test is John C. McGinley, who in addition to playing Perry Cox on Scrubs is perhaps better known for being God. It may have been re-syndicated since, but that's when I saw it.
