I thought in the spirit of the world cup this could be a little fun.

 

So here's the rules:

 

1) the team you put together must all work for the same company.

 

2) the team will consist of 7 wrestlers.

 

3) Due to popularity differing so much between countries, this would be based purely on performance.

 

4) Gimmicks would also not be used.

 

So... saying all that, who would you see each company putting together?

Everyone has their favourites. Keith has lower top line skills then Hill and a higher chance of skill decline and overness was not a factor. For Peak well every team needs a monster hehe. I was more surprised at mad for not including Dubois or one of the Bumfholes.

For whatever the reason I just can't get behind that guy, i job him out every chance I get.</p>

For this thing only I'd bring Yoshifusa Maeda out of retirement.. the man practically was GCG for more than 20 years and he can still go. Sooo....

Too much emphasis on stats and not enough on what actually makes the company what it is. USPW needs to have Bruce the Giant (ahead of Devine) and I'd argue should have T-Rex too. SWF needs to have Eric Eisen (ahead of Black) and Faith should unarguably be captain, he's been their top face for about 15 years! Not to mention it should have Jack Bruce in there AND Vengeance should be a lock too, certainly more then Enforcer Roberts and Remo. TCW needs to have Ricky Dale Johnson and Rocky Golden, their lead babyfaces over the likes of Eddie Peak, though it's a tough call their since the midcard is close together.</p><p> </p><p> This probably sounds more like I'm pushing for main eventers over stats... and it kinda is. But it's only discussion really. Team A gets to choice the match of their choice, it can be anything from a singles match, to a tag match, to a hell in a cell whatever you want. Obviously you would pick whatever you think you have the advantage in. Whoever wins the match gets two points.</p><p> </p><p>

Team B same thing</p><p> </p><p>

Then the third and final match of the event is a huge 5 on 5 elimination match. Winning team gets 4 points. Then at the end of the three match you tally up the score and it's just like the real world cup if you win you get 3, ti you get 1, lose you get 0.</p><p> </p><p>

I would actually consider making this into a diary if I didn't already have so much on my plate.</p>
