masterded Posted February 13, 2011 Share Posted February 13, 2011 Someone recently pulled out the old saying “If everyone jumped off a bridge would you?” on me recently and I realized something. The truth of the matter is I already have jumped off a bridge because everyone else was doing it (and it looked fun), not only that but almost everyone I know has at some point in their life jumped off a bridge because everyone else was doing it. I think of it as part of a normal childhood one day you go to a local lake or river see some kids jumping off a bridge and decide to join in. Which is weird because the events of WWI shaped the entire last century and still directly impact us to this very day. I am all in favor of people learning more about the Great War.
