We even have a a business here in Maine that sells "Wicked Whoopie Pies" all over the state. I have a lot of cousins in Boston and they definitely have heavy accents. Where are you originally from, MLT? Are you enjoying the 'wintah'? Originally from MD. I don't mind the weather here. I love the cold. The past few nights I've had a window beside the bed open. BHK1978 Posted January 14, 2013 Share Posted January 14, 2013 So I was reading an article about the Golden Globes and it mentioned that Bill Clinton was there to introduce something about Lincoln (I never watch those awards shows because to me they are all meaningless bore fests, so I really do not know why he was there.). Anyway in the article they had his name written and in parentheses they wrote Hillary Clinton’s husband. WTF? Are they serious about that? This man was leader of the free world for eight years and the person who wrote this article does not think enough people will recognize his name by itself? Not sure how long he's been gone, but You know as well as I do that the east coast has been rocked with snow this past month. From what my fam down in MD says it's been pretty harsh from there up to the boarder of NY, with PA getting some pretty harsh ice/snow. I was just making a joke about how he moved to PA and then all of a sudden he has gone missing in action. So the joke was he went and lived with the Amish, you know because they do not use electricity and such, thus explaining his absence from here. One of those people on their list was Jerry Seinfeld. I mean is he washed up? The guy is rich beyond belief thanks to his show. He never has to work another day in his life. Maybe he wants to be out of the spotlight because he can afford to be. That hardly makes him washed up. Now if you put Nick Nolte on that list, I would probably agree with him being washed up...
